It needs to get removed, if enough people dc when a killer is camping you know it’s a problem.

Yeah and it got implemented because too many people dc'ed on first sight with a specific killer or first down. And they saw it became a problem.

Well my killer rank resetted from 1 to 15 :)

And i did not played killer this month so much. And baby survivors comes again and again and killing them is just not fun. For example my last game, i did let leave last 2 guys because i felt sad for them seriously. They deserves better matches.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/OV39DJ6SXP86/20210610231240-1.jpg

Yeah I am collecting killer adept while getting back to my beloved comfortable green ranks. Only 3 or 4 to go.

Simply by playing soft and dragging the games for more killer/survivor interaction lets me get it even without killing them.

  • @Mooks said:

We know that the rank was reset to zero for everyone for this Testphase and it’s been not on for too long. It’s very much likely that those killers (spirit, nurse, wraith) just got to their high mmr faster than other killers.

you really can’t determine from an individual perspective if mmr is working or not. You need the data and statistical analysis.

The big problem is that they never run these mmr tests longer than a day or two which is not nearly enough for individual players to find their spot.

Also people that don't want to endure to reach their spot and quit after a few games don't really help. Even in league of legends or other games there are at least 10 placement games to vaguely determine once rank and then they have to play even more to get where they belong.

Edit: behaviour is simply too scared from a bigger backlash from the already instable community. Normal matchmaking is already only partially tolerated accompanied by balance issue at different level which will never be correctly addressed without a proper matchmaking to set a functioning level fundament.

  • Not to defend anything here but is everyone forgetting the rank reset bug fiasko from one or two months ago?

I was reset from 10 to 20 which shouldn't even be possible. Maybe some of those experienced players had a longer break and got reset to 20-17 and we're now back for the mmr test. All just assumptions but at least that would be a logical explanation excluding I'll intend.

right so if you are gearing up for a game of soccer and the other team just starts beating you up you continue to play?

and dont give that "its within the rules, its allowed, its a strat" nonsense, you know that is only the way it is because the devs are incapable to adress it, the game only exists by the grace of its community.

Let's make this metaphor a little more realistic and applicable by substituting the bashing by fouls unseen by a possible referee.

You either quit playing and leave your teammates at disadvantage 11vs10 (survivor) and while you friends might be understanding they still thing you are a jerk for leaving.

Or you own the ball and take it with you so you set your own fun above 21 other people (killer dcing and therefore ending the match) and they all think you are a ragequitting jerk.

So then what truly is the difference between a 5 second disconnect vs a 15 second hook suicide? All you're doing is just punishing people for wanting to get out of a game 10 seconds faster, you aren't arguing for a DC penalty very well.

You are forgetting a lot in this comparison. It is not 5 vs 15 seconds but more like 5 seconds vs over a minute. I don't know the exact time for first Hook state while actively trying to escape to waste blood but there is also the pickup and time to carry someone to a hook.

That is over a minute extra time for the other 3 survivor (if the killer camps, the most obvious reason for the on the hook exits) and a Hook state for tokens plus extra hooking points for the killer that would get denied via dc.

  • @TheClownIsKing said:

It’s also exposed (to me anyway) a lot of survivors that have exploited the current existing matchmaking to heavily depip with the intent of (previously) stomping on newer/noob players (which they’re now NOT being matched with during the test).

I just went up against a Dwight that was one of the best loopers I have ever been up against while I was Doc. He was fully kitted out with T3 Adrenaline, BT, DH, and DS, and he was wearing paid cosmetics.

His rank? Just 19. And he was ridiculously skilled, reading/correctly guessing almost 100% of my moves.

I could’ve accepted the logic that perhaps it’s just a player that has deranked from not playing for many, many months. But to still have sharp skills like that after a really long break isn’t very plausible.

And this isn’t the first time in the past 48 hrs. I’ve had dozens of killer matches against extreme sweat squads only to be shocked at the post match results that there may only be one red rank survivor, and every body else is only between rank 20 to 16.

Yeah i’ve also had genuine baby survivors, poor dears (can’t even give them the hatch because they keep running for their terrified lives), but this other issue I’ve observed has been significant in the past day for me.

I don't want to defend anyone in any way but don't forget the rank reset bug a month ago. Many people were nearly hard reset in their ranks. It shouldn't be possible to derank/reset below 17 but i was set back to 20 from my comfortable 13-10.

  • @DangerScouse said:

Serious question. Are we really saying rank has no correlation to skill?

I see that comment a lot and it just does not ring true in my experience. By the end of a match, before the final screen, I know damn well what rank the players in that game were.

Yes maybe some small exceptions but overall, rank does equal skill IMO, and my experience.

How do you explain then that someone like me who is only playing casual, non meta killer, without perks but bbq for points and brown add-ons plus brown bp offering can sometimes stomp teams of purple or red ranks?

I played an evening 15 games and roughly won half of them and most of them were at least purple to red rank. Only one team of pure red ranks really stomped me with 2 hooks.

To explain the problem from my point I use league of legend or other games ranking system. In lol everyone with a basic understanding of the game can reach high silver or low gold elo just like red rank and partially rank 1 in dbd. It is simply a case of time invested each month after a certain point (people managed it within only a few months after getting the game).

The problem continues that there also are people with much more skill that would reach master or grandmaster in lol terms but dbd just ends at rank 1 and now that becomes a hotpot of everything skillwise from high silver up to grandmaster (6 elos with 3 of them further divided into 4 steps).

This takes any real meaning of the "achievement" of rank 1. Swf only further pushes this problem by boosting some people up there.

Because streamers generally need to win most of their games. Nobody really wants to watch if all they do is lose.

However, this basically means they are cursed to go up against extremely good players and other streamers constantly.

It means players on the caliber of Otz are constantly going up against each other, over and over again.

If you've ever played against a really good SWF or a really good Nurse or Spirit, you know how awful that can be.

Welcome to most games with a working mmr. League of Legends pros (challenger and above) only play each other or use alt account and still can stream.

People in the dbd community just became way too used to see their (and here I take the league of legends ranks for analogy again) master-grandmaster level favourite streamer playing against everything from silver up to grandmaster (because red ranks only equal the level of low gold itself, being more of sign of time investment rather than skill and building a finit limit to the rank climb way too early). Of course this will lead to those famous 50/100 games win streaks with the occasional close call being evenly matched.

    1.)

Sure, if you play casual then MMR should be fine for you. But new players and players who try are going to have a miserable experience and I do not think that can be dismissed.

    2.)

Multiplayer games have a very difficult time surviving in this day and age without content creators supporting them. Siege, OW, CoD, Battlefield, Halo, GTA ect ect all have communities that promote the game and show how fun it can be. If they all left, the games would decline dramatically. Because, like it or not, that's the world we live in.

    3.)

I did read what you wrote. I'm merely clarifying that I do not believe they'll do anything at all, but if they do it won't be soon enough to prevent people from leaving.

    4.)

I don't think you could do that based off of Rank alone. Just put in something like OW's SR system. It's just a visual indication of the weight bracket you are in. That's the same info you have right now.

Also to your first point here. That's already the case in any online pvp game on the market that don't have a botgame mode or newby protection queues (which also get destroyed by smurfs) like for example rainbow six siege.

Gaming is a hobby for several people, and friends are made by doing shared hobbies together repeatedly. Some people find gaming with friends more fun, which explains why there are so many survivors. Others like to wind down alone after a day of talking at work etc.

Dbd I and killer especially is not a game to wind down after a day of work and most people know that. If there weren't people that like to play killer, be it for playing their favourite horror icon or something, this game would not work.

And while it is okay to let friends play together and it being impossible to avoid communication outside of the game, it is still an undeniable one-sided option for a potential advantage against the already more demanding and stressful role of juggling attention between 4 opponents on minimum 7 objectives (only gens not counting totems or hooked survivor).

  • @Ink_Eyes said:

Players tend to blame SWF when they get a bad match, truth is that SWF teams make up only like 10% (or less) of the overall population, it is very unlikely to go against a SWF team match after match, most of the times you are gonna be playing versus 4 solo survivors.

The thing here is that people sometimes don't want to accept they just had a bad match (or a streak of bad matches) true for example started blaming a ''SWF squad'' on one of his streams when he lost a match like a week ago, then when people investigated about it it turns out it wasn't a SWF team, they were just randoms who played really well and true had to back down and admit he played bad, but most people don't want to admit that, they rather give an excuse like ''they had an advantage over me'' than admit they played bad.

it is very unlikely that you had multiple matches against SWF, you can't even tell that they were SWF unless you got screenshots of them admitting in the end game chat that they actually were.

Ehm what your are talking about with that percentage are pure 4 men swf. 2- or 3- swf are not the minority but the majority of groups especially in the evenings. As a personal anecdote I checked all survivor on a Saturday evening for 15 games on PC where I can see their respective friends lists. There were twelve 3 men, one double 2 men, one 4 men and one group of 4 pure consoleplayers so I couldn't check.

It is coordinated 4 man SWF sided. These teams are rare, and yes, they do need a nerf because of their potential. However, as I said, these teams are rare. You can't call this game survivor sided because of games that take place less than 1% of the time.

But what about even odds. A relaxed killer looking to chill and 4 "looking for chill games"survivor with swf of any combination (3:1 would be most common). Who do you think will get a chill game and "win"? Most often not the killer if skill is equal between both parties, potential comms, even when "just chatting about their day", will give additional coordination and information. Boone can tell me that they don't do shot calls even subconsciously like "killer is on me".

But I would not expect a chill game as either anyway since that would indicate a disparity in matchmaking (and yes I know this is the standard here sadly).

  • @EvilJoshy said:

Anyone who tells me the game is killer sided I just bring up this fact.

Ruin+Undying took 3 months to nerf. DS took 4 years /mic drop

Even better, Moris were changed on a dime because the community was enraged due to the twins chapter release and the animation change for survivor and atleast the bigger portion needed a treat to smooth the waves.

And noone can tell me that a change that took 5 minutes to implement was never mentioned in behaviour team meetings or thought of until then. It just came at a convenient time. And I won't argue about the power of Moris and if they are bs or not (i never used them anyway and ditched kill-by-own-hand dailies).

  • Sorry but I won't take it seriously when you say that "It would completely change the meta to be able to twerk with Quentin, or do the YMCA with Claudette." Honestly I stopped reading at that point. 😩

Also the price range of 5-25€ is unrealistic.

And yes I know I behave like i have a stick up my butt right now but it is just too over the top for me.

  • Is it a glitch where the survivor dc as soon as the killer pick them up?

If yes, I would say they don't do it intentionally but are simply those childish players that dc if getting downed first or don't like a certain killer. Just might be coincidence on the timing of the dc.

  • A little bit too over the top for a meme/fun post for my taste.

The test will be over in a couple days at least hang tough

And that is the problem. Those tests never run longer than a few days so the system.cant acclimate enough. But because half the dommunity goes into rage the company gets scared and resets everything back to the system where only 20% of the community aren't happy and it still is broken but the people adapted to it and accepted it.

I just started playing like 2 days ago and the mar has put me against rank 1s and 2s...I’m rank 18 and my Wraith is only level 12. I get that it’s based on skill and I’ve played plenty of games with MMR, but this is a little ridiculous. I’m not that great of a player and I have super limited access to perks, eventually it’ll put me with the right people but right now it’s not fun or rewarding.

I never understand this sentiment. Play any other pvp game with matchmaking and you will see the same problem. The biggest difference there is that those games either have a dedicated newby queue (rainbow six siege for example) or working pve bot game queues.

Playing normal games in any of them will result in stress and Frustration for new player but nobody expects that from dbd given they never made another queue beside rankeds (as stupid as that is).

This game should be long dead if it weren't for it's individuality in this genre.

The MMR isn't a measure of skill either. It's just gen squads and super slugger players. It's honestly the most unfun experience I have ever had, no chill games at all, every match is <5min this is a great reminder of why this game is absolute dog ######### at the higher levels of play.

The problem is that chill games only show a disparity in skill for both sides. Killer can only chill when survivor are useless and don't do gens efficient and vice versa.

I have crossplay off, ik that probably has something to do with it but I still think it's a big issue regardless.

Yeah, that's the thing.i would guess way more than 50% of all console survivor players opted in for Crossplay due to their individual queue times having been horrendous and considerably less than 50% of the killers did because killer on console is harder to either hardware limitation (controller vs mouse and keyboard in first Person) and optimization of the game on console vs PC.

So if I do a assumption mind game and say that the survivor to killer ratio on console was 8:1 given the 30-60 minute queue times according to the forum before Crossplay and (exaggerated) 80% of the survivor and 50% of the killer players (assuming everybody only plays one side at a time) opted in for Crossplay, that then leaves 20-25% of the original player base for that console in a 3:1 ratio. So it would be obvious as killer and survivor to see the same people repeatedly.

Of course this whole assumption is exaggerated but at least 50% of the console player base might've activated Crossplay and surely with a higher survivor portion then killer. Leaving less survivor than killer of the original player base respectivly.

Well your point was aimed at me because you responded to me and also rank is not a sure way to measure skill that's why they implemented MMR to better match people of skill.

Me quoting you was simply to show an example and not put my statement blank into the room. (Then I simply could've made a new thread which would probably get ignored anyway)

And the fact that rank is a useless indicator for skill and more or purely for time investment into this game is not new for me. I am still thinking about if it is worth to take time and make visual schematics of how dbds ranking system is utter garbage at red rank compared to other games using matchmaking and ranking. Dbds red rank equals to, for example, league of legends silver/gold rank AND EVERYTHING ABOVE mashed together.

  • @DecisiveDwight said:

Bold of you to assume I'm not that skilled rank wise my killer rank is lower green and beginning purple so I think I know what I'm talking about I used to play 50/50 but chose survivor as my favourite side.

Did I say that I meant this explicitly to your case? My post was more a comment on this kind of behaviour on these forums itself.

The people never give satisfying information for those claims and from what you for example gave, my assumption might be correct or not.

Another point is arguing about queue times without giving information about time of day, server region or platform plus Crossplay on or off.

  • I was comfortably chilling at green between 12 and 10 and the rank reset mess up from a month or two back set me down to 20 surprisingly. So rank 20 might not be a 100% indicator but 80-90% which isn't an argument that the guy wasn't new.

  • Maybe, just maybe they should do these tests for more than just a few days AND inform the community that the still in place ranks are worthless during those tests. Even a group of rainbow ranks CAN be correct if for example the yellow and green have been deserved red rank at some time but, either due to the reset bug or a long time out, were pushed down again.

But we all know that behaviour is way too scared to upset the majority of the community for even a short time such a system would need acclimate itself or the community learn how this new matchmaking works and how to read it

  • @DecisiveDwight said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/256093/i-fear-wraith-has-become-too-powerful

Agree I main survivor but also play killer a little as my level 50 wraith I played him pre-buff he was bad and add On dependant but not useless but now all I gotta do is stick on my usual perks and I can 4k just by using my huge speed and lunge increase.

That being said I hate going up against a wraith for that very reason he can 4k just by cloaking and then uncloaking on your ass.

That's the thing I never understood. People say they main one said and play the other only occasionally.

Why is it strange when they accumulate in-game knowledge on their main side and when they play the other get matched against newbies and potatoes and take those matches as an indicator that something might be unbalanced.

Example you play 1k hours 95% only survivor and decide to play killer for the first time after several hundred hours. They are rank 1 on survivor but rank 20 as killer, while they know how survivor think and loop. Then they get matched against new or yellow ranked players which inherently don't have the knowledge and really to win against killer of their own skill. It should be obvious that the switching player will win 90-100% of their games due to the knowledge gap relating to basics.

This should never be an argument for balance on any side.

  • Random, I guess. In a chase up, when they stay still and try to blind depends on if I have a survivor on my shoulder, without to the side and with up but never really down thanxks to crackers.

And I am still trying to get Lightborn an all killers so I can simply ignore them. But even blinded I close my eyes and focus on the sound to keep the chase up.

What platform do you play on? Idk about other platforms but on ps4 I've noticed that I'll play against the same survivors CONSTANTLY. There's about 3 or 4 people who I've played against so many times in the past few days that I remember the usernames right off the top of my head.

    Cross play on or off?

    @TheMadCat said:

Do you play with crossplay off? When I've done it (Steam), I was against the exact same Killer and with the exact same Survivors each time. Before MMR test, I stopped to play crossplay off after that.

The player pool over allis already not that big and I guess more than half of each platform have Crossplay on. This leads to each separate player pool being even smaller and combine that now with a "better"/different working mmr and suddenly there is not much left.

  • @danielmaster87 said:

You can lobby dodge but if you don't, just play normal because if they're gonna screw you up with a key, you can't really stop it.

    This^

I only adjust my playstyle to last second switches. Keys overall are what they are, but the last second switch is done with the intention to make the game less enjoyable for a killer so i will attempt to focus their second hook early (still no kill but at least they are prepped) and play with the rest normally. But IF they are swf and use an annoying strategy around those last second switches .... then I won't dodge but they won't get to play a normal round but with a catatonic but moving killer. I will farm points for me while avoiding giving them points. No long chases, mainly pallet brakes or generator kicks, fast hit and runs (so less chase points for them). And if they decide to throw the game I will comply to kill them.

  • @SleepyWillo said:

Killer sweat is based on the person playing, not time. The killers that tunnel off the hook at 5 gens will do it even if gens took 30mins each. They see something that gives an easy win and go for it. On all the posts complaining about camping and tunnelling I've never seen someone complain about it happening at endgame (or close to).

Strategically advantageous to make a 4v1 a 3v1 at the start of the game? yes. still a dick move? absolutely.

Maybe you have never seen a complaint about camping or tunneling during endgame because a combination of dh/ds/ub/bt and bodyblocking is except for bubba a free escape (if ds and in are not already used). Either a killer uses those "strategies" from the beginning and it won't even get to endgame or they don't and even the attempt to hook someone with 1 or 2 other survivor is already quite futile.

And most often on this forum endgame with more than 2 survivor is already widely viewed as a loss for the killer where they don't "deserve" any additional kills.

Hmm, I guess I hadn't thought of that. It takes a special type of ragequitter to crash their game and go through a good five minutes getting it started again plus five more to get into their next match.

Also most, if not all measures from the devs would still not help differentiating against people that simply "pull the plug". Either by pulling out the Ethernet cable or rebooting their rooter. Their is nothing to detect and differentiate this kind of ragequitting from an accidental loss of connection.

How would a killer get bodyblocked in a corner if all they have to do is hit a survivor to make them incorporeal?

And a survivor covering another survivor for example after unhooking them is the right use of bodyblocking.

If a survivor is going down in two seconds, they’re probably not going to pip at red rank anyway. This is hurting players who are actually good at the chase.

It seems that pipping is more of a personal wincondition of yours more than anything. Why is it so important to pop at all after reaching rank 1? You already are/were at the peak and nothing comes after that and nothing special is gained from it. Even as a status symbol it lost most of its worth after the change to ruin and the influx of people reaching this rank without the proper skill for it. That is the reason for the matchmaking problems we have right now, most people can reach red ranks or even rank one simply by investing enough time solely into dbd.

  • @WexlerWendigo said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2250244#Comment_2250244

Rotary hooks are irrelevant for Bubba, as his attack can cover the entire hook and instadown. Obviously, a face camping Trapper isn’t going to cause the same issue. It’s specifically with Bubba that there is a problem, as a Bubba facecamping on his first down is making it extremely hard for survivors to pip. Killers shouldn’t have this control over the pipping system of the other side.

Sorry but the argument of pipping here holds not much value for me. Survivor are also able to finish gens in less than 4 minutes and combined with stealth can deny killer any chance of pipping. So killer have to always play with that in mind, a reason why ruin and other gen slowdown perks are meta. So why don't survivor have to always play with a camping killer in mind?

Both cases aren't the norm and since just because one needs the corporation and teamwork of the group vs the individual being able to employ such strategy on their own it is more prevalent. But since the group can't be expected to develop such behaviour you ask for the punishment for the individual, whose role is already more stressful and void of being able to play with friends. If even half of these cries for punishment of the killer would go through, the game would collapse even further than it already is given queue time differences at certain times of the day without the influence of real life daily cicles.

Developers have put many unfair & unfun mechanics in the game over the years, they aren’t infallible. The thing, you’re turning this entire argument to be about a definition, rather than addressing the fact that survivors are being punished for performing well in the chase. It’s fine if you never go down in a chase every game, but 99.9% of people will go down from time to time.

Can You define for me the difference in punishment for a survivor going down after a minute or two compared to one that is downed after a few seconds?

I simply don't get what a face camping bubba has to do with a survivor doing well in any form.

  • I go by the theory that red rank or rank one is way less a symbol of skill and more of a repeated time investment between resets.

Just like gold or high silver elo in other games like lol it just takes a little over average understanding of the respective game and with enough matches played people will at least get there.

Dbd lost a great way of filtering skill with the rework of old ruin were less skilled player had problems hitting great skillchecks.

This now leads to the broad mass of player reaching red rank and with that the end of the ladder and everything skillwise gets mixed up together and matched against each other.

Also, OP deserves it for playing Legion.

I love the shaming for laying a certain character just like the time when killer tunneled survivor for playing Feng especially with bunny cosmetic.

I used the rank reset bug from a few weeks ago to further complete my adepts on killer collection.

I did it on legion without add-ons and only a brown bp offering and after the 4 M2 hits for a daily stopped using their power and basic m1 the whole trial and still 2 groups decided to throw just because of the killer without any tunneling or camping happening.

"They just press E to the pallet/window and get to waste a bunch of time." mindgame.

I would love it if you could give me an example of such a mind game for advice to improve against dh.

Because entitled killer mains can’t take the hint to chase someone else when you use dead hard.

Well perks like sb give me the hint right at the beginning of the chase and not during it on demand close to a pallet or window.

When I see a sprint burst I will instantly abort that chase since I managed to waste the perk. Dead hard comes when a killer already invested the time for getting close to a hit or even additionally the first hit. When a survivor manages to dodge a hit with it it is respectable but when they use it 4-5 meter ahead of you to make it to a vault their was nothing the killer could have done.

Sprint is better than dead hard why people cry about DH ?

On click demand is easier than having to either manage your exhaustion or not run until needed.

I don't think so??? It's like, against a 4man tournament SWF then it's completely fine but against 4 solos, who don't do anything then just DC, it's like,, how can people think it's okay vs them?

which then brings up the severe issues between solos and SWF so hey BHVR please buff solos and not in the form of perks thanks.

The problem is both sides pushed each other to only play with a max efficiency load out in case the opposition is running that kind of power and when you don't then gg no fun allowed.

This time it was the killer going overboard next time it might be the survivors, solo or not.

(But yes, just like since 2 years already, they should buffs information for solo to equalize with swf and coms and balance killer accordingly aka bring all 3 groups on the same base level)

  • She is one of a few killers were it is not required to play them for several dozen hours to have fun with.

Many killer powers depend on survivor behaviour/mistakes or have a sever skill floor.

For example trap or projectile based killer are extremely dependent of survivor behaviour. Do they walk were i placed those traps and/or can I force them there? How will they dodge and is my aim on par with their zigzag and so on?

Other killer have a relatively high skill floor or are bugged.

They should put ingame comms, every one uses discord anyway

Except killerplayers. It doesn't help them 😝

  • @DoritoHead said:

Sure, SWF is extremely strong. But why would you ban people for PLAYING WITH FRIENDS

Not swf itself but the one sided option to gain an additional advantage. The problem is that out of game coms are the norm by now but dbd is one of the last surviving games of the asymmetrical genre where only one side is able to gain advantage from coms (making use of it or not, the potential is given onesidedly, which can only be addressed by giving solo more information and balance killer then accordingly aka bringing all 3 groups to the same level).

  • @HawkAyeTheNoo said:

Is it just this game we've to have no comms or is it ALL games?

Other games give the same option for such an advantage to both sides. Dbd on the other hand is on of the few surviving asymmetrical games.

  • Just out of curiosity, why?

  • Just a short question which I might make into a stand alone thread but which killer is one allowed to play atm that is not unfun to play against/op?

Atleast half the roster is occasionally brought up on the forums for the above mentioned reasons.

It's not that I really care to choose my killer after that but i think it would be interesting to know which killers are left to play without getting shamed for it.

  • Just to give you my two cents. From what I gathered, the auto BAN system is rather an auto FLAG system which marks an account with a high number of reports for inspection by the people that are giving out bans right now. It is simply a tool to make their life easier and not an automated banning system itself. The most reasonable explanation atm is like often bad communication from the devs with the community.

  • I haven't watched the stream or anything but read on this forum and what I understood was that they want to create an automated FLAGGING system for the people managing the punishments and reports.

From the look of it, it sounds similar to the system league of legends has where an increasing amount of reports flags an account for inspection rather than automatically banning it.

Lastly until the complete nature of the automatism is revealed I would stay calm.

I’m sure it’s safe to say a nice message is better than a not so nice one.

Sometimes though, it’s better not to say anything. Especially with a bad matchmaking.

I am not going to tell a newbie, “gg” when I know it wasn’t a fair match. I would rather not say anything and move on.

    This ^

From my experience the last time I played it is better to simply leave in silence and dignity. Most of the time their is either nothing or salt coming and only in matches were one got stomped, like only 2 hooks in the whole trial, they get a gg which then feels more like mockery.

I had this the last time when I played a whole Saturday evening in a row against purple/red 80% swf and then one of the last games I got destroyed by a few true rank 1 and they gave me a "gg" i crumbled and answered "not for me and so on" and they took their gg back and went full toxic since I wasn't appreciating it.
