@Peanits What about on Xbox..where if you are a killer, good or bad, you WILL be wrongfully and unfairly reported MANY times because salt. GG Xbox Rep Sysytem!

Thats what happens on other platforms too

It's not really an issue on PS4. You can get in trouble for threatening violence, using vulgar language or bullying in messages but Idk how strict they are. You don't have a visible reputation, though, and I'm not even sure how you would report for in game toxicity and if Sony would do anything about it.

You dont, the killer have used a perk slot to be able to make survivors lives just a "bit less easy", do u really need the game to always HOLD YOUR HAND?

Yeah the killer should totally have one perk that can render Bond, Open Handed, Kindred, Plunderer's Instinct, Detective's Hunch, Deja Vu, Empathy, Dark Sense, Object of Obsession, and Alert entirely useless. Great and balanced idea!

    But survivors have 16 perks

    /s

They do, it's incredibly disingenuous to claim that other survivors perks don't affect you.

Hey I didn't bring my SB or SC, can I borrow yours?

A survivor running sprint burst gives you more time to work on gens, you do not exist in a bubble.
9 times out of 10 if I'm working on a gen with a survivor and the killer comes over, they'll Sprint Burst away and the killer will decide to go for me, the easier prey. Don't be ridiculous. The 16 perk thing is a goddamn joke. Especially if you're a solo survivor.

  • Who keeps the lobby music on anyway? It drives me nuts. Like I like the original lobby music but that doesn't mean I want to hear it on repeat constantly.
  • I'm pretty sure I've been chainsawed and gotten Sloppy Butcher before.
  • @SovererignKing

Your clarification changes everything, yes lol. Ignore my post. That would be a decent change.
  • It doesn't make sense, camping only really happens at low ranks. It's not an issue later.

That's not even remotely true. Especially since it's so easy to pip. I am regularly camped at rank 1 by rank 1-5 killers. And no I'm not talking about the exit gates powered situations.

I would be okay with the delay after one gen is completed before another could, IF when survivors 100% a gen it stays at 100% and can't be regressed.

It would be pretty lame if you did all the work to complete a gen, move onto the next one and the first one is sitting there for 18 seconds and then the killer comes over and kicks it at second 19. Now you're halfway across the map a third of the way through another gen and you have to abandon that one to go attempt to finish that gen again.

This would be especially problematic on small maps, with Tinkerer, and against Nurse, Doctor or Hillbilly.
You can't regress a gen after it's completed.
Considering this is a hypothetical change to the game and OP did not specify, there is no way to know that. Of course you cannot regress a completed gen now. Use your brain.
  • @SovererignKing

So 10% for each fresh hook..

    1 hook: 80 x 1.1 = 88
    2 hooks: 88 x 1.1 = 96.8
    3 hooks: 96.8 x 1.1 = 106.48
    4 hooks: 106.48 x 1.1 = 117.128

So gens should take almost 1.5 times as long once the killer has already made decent progress towards winning? That's the opposite of what should happen. Gens should take longer in the beginning and then decrease each time one is completed or with each hook. Like the first gen takes 100 seconds and with each completed gen the next one takes 5 less seconds and with each new hook it takes 3 less seconds, down to a minimum of 80.

Plus, with your idea + Dying Light or Freddy, or both, would be absolute cancer. The last gen, with all 4 hooks plus the obsession dead would take about 146 seconds. More than 2.5 minutes to do one gen.

That's not including Ruin or Thanatophobia. Against the Doctor with Ruin, Dying Light, and Overcharge? Nearly impossible to complete the last gen, if they get that far.

Like, you actually have to think these things through.

  • Hags require more thinking and strategy. If they make a mistake it can be more costly because of the lower speed and poorer line of sight (than a Hillbilly who can correct that same mistake in like 3 seconds, for instance). I think the bad Hags are just testing her out, working on an achievement or doing a daily ritual. I can't imagine somebody who can't figure her out using her for more than a few games.
  • Yeah and equipping BBQ should increase it to 8 seconds so Nurse and Hillbilly can literally down you from across the entire map.

Here come the diehard killer mains searching for reasons to defend stupid game play.

"Well, was there another survivor still alive on the map?!"

It's only stupid if there weren't other Survivors around and the gates weren't close to being powered. I don't expect you to understand that, however.

    Lolk.
  • Here come the diehard killer mains searching for reasons to defend stupid game play.

  • I don't think built in full Kindred 3 is a good idea. Maybe like if the killer is within 8m of the hook and if other survivors are within 16m of the hook you see their aura. And then actual Kindred could increase those values, along with Open Handed. But the complaints are overstated. Like "Oh no I'll have to camp 8.1m away instead of 2 feet away, this game is totally broken now!"

I think they'll maybe have to reduce time to reach bloodlust tiers by 2-3 seconds. But I hear a lot of contradicting complaints. I see killers saying they literally never reach bloodlust 3 and at the same time others saying they'll never be able to catch a survivor in certain situations. So I think the complaints about this are really just from inefficient killers. Nobody seems to want to admit they're not a very good killer. Like, who cares? It's a game. Even if you were the #1 best killer in the game it would say literally nothing about you other than you play the game a lot.

I think the faster unhook cancelling and inability to hit survivors until they can move are GREAT and necessary changes and any complaints about those are simply whining to whine.

    The pallet change is great.

Changes to keys and maps are much needed and I'm looking forward to those most of all.

  • When a Hag uses an ebony mori and Insidious camps the basement but the survivor has Kindred 3.

    Use bamboozle

Sure give us 16 perk slots so we can counter something build in the game.
    RUIN-must
    bamboozle-must
    BBQ-must
pretty much no more room for interesting builds, forcing someone to use something is not a good direction for any game.

Can't see the argument that BBQ is a "must." I personally disagree with any perk being a must but I can see why people think Ruin is.
  • Every single strategic move in this game is ######### bullying to some people.
  • Can't believe people are legit complaining about unhook cancelling and not being able to hit a survivor who can't move. You will ADAPT and GET GOOD.

idk about you, but every time i get impaled in real life, i feel refreshed and ready to run.
Yeah because this game is so realistic.
  • There's slow, medium and fast. Both medium and fast are loud and alert the killer, I think.
  • I think to pair it better with Dance With Me and Quick and Quiet it should also activate when you sprint out of a locker.
  • Did I make it in time for the circle jerk, guys??

Some of you people are delusional with the victim complex. Every single thing needs to be turned into a survivor vs killer battle. Do you not have lives?

If only this forum had actual moderation tho.

They are incredibly lax around here..
  • I mean it's clear when you're JUST on the other side of the window that it is intended for killers to be able to hit survivors, but more often than not I've started running and I'm a few feet away and I still get hit.
  • "Should you be awarded 100% extra BP for no other reason than doing your only objective?"

Why not just say you think the BP earnings should be increased? Doubling it for free is absurd, tho.
  • Calm Spirit should make it so your camera isn't affected.
  • Are you a kill jockey when you play killer?
  • TBH a new objective like finding gas cans would make the game take longer while also be more fun for survivors.
Yeah that sounds so fun. Now we can press the same button a couple more times!!

@RemoveSWF  Repairing gens is an exploit.

If you're gen-tapping it is, yeah.

If we listed how many exploits survivors used on a regular basis, we'd be here all day.

Lol if gen tapping is an exploit then so is dribbling. Problem is, these "exploits" (like pallet looping) are okay to the devs. So they are not actual exploits.

Dribbling got fixed because it was considered an exploit. Now you can only dribble 3 times and then the survivors escapes even without using DS

Ok and pallet looping has gotten fixed in multiple ways. Less pallets, less pallet clusters, bloodlust, no more vaccuum, survivors lost a loop. Windows have fixed, too.

Gen tapping doesn't need to be fixed because it takes much longer. I very rarely see survivors wasting their time doing it. They either power through or go find the hex (which is usually pretty easy since the killer beelines to it at the start of the match and then blames the devs when survivors find the hex in a minute).

Pallet looping has not been fixed at all. Those were band-aid fixes like the Wraith ''buff'' where he can see blood more clearly when invisible thus not needing his own teachable perk ''Bloodhound''.

Pallets were lessened by like 2 and windows have kind of been fixed except if there's a pallet or a jungle gym right next to it. Even T walls might counter the windows ''fix''

    Hahahaha

    thats always a wise choice!

what i do, is the same thing you should be doing in a swf, but solo. when you break a totem or see one thats being broken/already broken, then say “1” to yourself, and then “2” etc.

if the gates get powered, and you havent counted to 6, then assume noed is up.
5** guess you're not always right.

  • Doctor is really good if you know how to play him and have a good build. He's not that great without perks or add ons but most killers aren't. Would rather see Freddy, Wraith, Pig and Leatherface looked at first.
