Any other perks that increase vault speed thats not spine chill and resilience?
No, I don't think so.
-
Crutch perk. Not overpowered but definitely a favorite of less skilled players.
-
1. Worse graphics
2. Lower FPS
3. Less sensitive controls
4. Less buttons to map actions to
-
It's weird how even the devs themselves have noticed the difference in BP gain enough to put it in their dev update, but a few biased killer mains here chalk it up to delusion. If the devs are spending resources making adjustments then obviously they see it as an issue.
-
Frame rate is great for me on PS4. I have the slim idk if that matters

I can only play solo. None of my family or friends will touch DBD to become new players because of the insane grind.
That's why I can't get my friends to join either. 😓

Lol! Really! This is what survivors are crying about now! I might as well kiss goodbye Mori now! The babies cry and the developers come running to give the spoiled babies what’s they want. Maybe they Should take away the power of the killer altogether.
Don't quit your day job if you have one because you're no good at trolling.

Hopefully they fix this and the EGC timer bug real quick.
-
Personally I would prefer Hellraiser but I would be absolutely cool with Stranger Things. I hope the survivor is Steve.

They brought back Resilience increasing vault speed in 3.0.0! It had been gone for a few patches (I believe it left around when they changed how vault momentum works), but I'm so excited that it's back. It's one of my favorite builds. Leader vault speed left at the same time and is still gone (25% would probably be way too much anyways, like they thought)
Can you confirm if Spine Chill affects vault speed?

I see way more Legion than Clown on PS4.

@TAG the admin of the DbD Wiki might have some more interest in everything that going around in DbD, than the averange person.
Just a thought.
He's already well established his bias. It is in almost all of his comments on this forum.

I don't care in the slightest. I do more than enough research for the Wiki already, I'm not going to dig up stats for you that you can google yourself.
Don't make claims if you can't back them up. Your free time hobby has nothing to do with this discussion so I'm not sure why you brought it up.
-
Maybe they want to get a head start on the next chapter. Maybe they'll take longer to fix any PTB problems that arise.
-
I laugh every time someone says they play survivor to relax. If you can relax then you are not playing at the proper rank. Survivor definitely isn't as stressful as killer because you need to keep track of 4 other players, but to call it relaxing is a stretch. Even when I'm repairing gens I'm still spinning my camera around, looking to see if the survivor icons are doing anything, searching for and counting totems, figuring out what perks the killer is running, listening for any sounds, counting other survivors' hooks, etc. That's not including chases. Also dealing with poor teammates is anything but relaxing.

It's called socializing and making conversation. Give it a shot sometime.

Thrilling, even?

"To add to that, any time you hit a survivor, they are instantly pulled into a dream world, you don't just have to wait for the timer."
Excuse-moi? I don't recall hearing this in the stream.
It's shown in the clips that when he hits a survivor they turn blue-ish. I assume that is them falling asleep.

i left that out because it´s just badly designed, he can teleport yes, but survivors get a 5 second warning and the cooldown of the teleport is 45 seconds.... its a gimmick nothing else
Teleport cooldown is reduced by sleeping survivors and add ons. Plus they could reduce it after the PTB. I'm not sure in what world traveling across the entire map in 5 seconds is a negative lol.
This post is incredibly negative and whiny.
-
I believe they said snares take 1 second to arm but after they are triggered they are active for 5 seconds before disappearing. And your hindered status persists for 3 seconds after leaving the range of the snare.

Interesting way to counter survivors trying to counter BBQ
Exactly.

@Visionmaker said:
That's an interesting idea.
Like others have pointed out, I'd like to see that added to Iron Maiden instead. Like if a survivor goes into a locker, they get trapped in for a short duration. That would make it a little less worthless.
I'd rather see Thrilling Tremors get buffed numbers wise, since it's a good concept, just underwhelming.
I don't think it would be fair to both trap the survivor and cause Exposed.

@Cardgrey said:
Why does lockers need to be blocked. I'm not for or against just want to know why u feel it's needed.
Because combined with BBQ it would mean no one can hide to cancel out the aura reading.

Iron Maiden already exists tho xD
This is nothing like Iron Maiden except it involves lockers.

Huh? It's not the same thing. Two different perks can affect lockers.

Isn't that just how they do updates on Xbox? On PS4 it was 324 MB or so.

huntress is trash against decent survivors and on 90% of the maps. so this thing might help her.
She's widely regarded as one of the best killers. She's not great on console because of the frame rate and lack of precision with the joysticks but far from trash.

Downvoting most/all of someones post because you didn’t like them was a popular reason reason.
Unless they were going through and mass downvoting someone's entire post history I don't see the problem. That should be a punishable offense to begin with, though. There are some people on here I downvoted consistently because either they were rude/condescending/trolling, unnecessarily divisive (making things about survivor vs killer that really weren't, or lumping all survivor mains and all killer mains into one group), or I often disagreed with their opinion. Even those people I still upvoted once in a while if they said something I thought was dead on.
If the mechanic was abused I don't get why measures couldn't be introduced to punish that. Locking old threads would be the first thing. It's silly that something posted two years ago can be brought back from the dead or downvoted.
-
Something tells me they did just this because it complicated the sounds lol
-
It wouldn't have been a problem if people didn't take it so personally. I dared to say Ruin isn't required for killers and I got like 50 downvotes. Who cares? Just because someone, or a lot of people, disagree with your opinion on a video game doesn't mean ANYTHING. If people stopped centering their self worth on immaterial BS like downvotes or other opinions on their skill in a video game then they'd be much happier. It's the same people who flip out when they don't escape or 4k on a consistent basis and scream that the game is broken.
-
It's pretty crazy to me that people endlessly whined about Freddy being awful and were crying for a rework. He's literally a meme character. Now his change is coming and suddenly Freddy is actually very good and they're nerfing him.
Teleporting across the entire map in 5 seconds is a nerf lol
-
That's not how this works and I can't imagine the devs would even consider it. If they were going to allow you to swap back to the old power then they wouldn't even bother making a new power to begin with. It would be a complete waste of time.
-
I mean that would take all gens being completed, them finding the hatch and them all making it there before you so you can't close it. It's also ultra rare.
If survivors escape via the hatch I don't really consider that a legitimate loss for me, personally. Is it technically? Yes, but it's similar to when the killer brings a mori. That's not a significant loss IMO.
-
Is that his official title?
-
Neat idea. I've always thought BK should do what the perk description says and slow down your bleeding and/or make it disappear more quickly.
-
It's incredibly buggy and frustrating in my experience. Sometimes I barely even see him and I instantly reveal him, sometimes he's dead center of my screen, standing out in the open and it refuses to work.
-
Every killer can be good
-
She still hums in my games
-
15 seconds? That's absurd. I can't wait until bloodlust is erased from the game, never mind a buff.

Because kicking the pallet and generator is part of the killers objective, and it removes obstructions in their chase path. We can't stop you from throwing down pallets. We can't intervene. You have exhaustion perks, urban evasion, etc etc. Throwing down a pallet takes zero skill on the survivors part. Getting hooked, as a survivor, reflects complete failure of your objective. That objective being not getting caught. Which you CAN prevent. You have all the tools to do it. Loops, exhaustion perks, DS etc etc. You have everything you needed to run even a good killer for a few gens. Maybe git gud. You present zero argument. It's 4v1.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/556346#Comment_556346
No, there would be a word for that. It's called "stupid". You can NOT punish self-suicide on hook with anything but point and rank loss. I suicide on hook at times. Usually it's when I get hooked, and see everyone on the map crouching behind something - all in opposite corners of the map, instead of going for a generator or coming for the save. It is absolutely NOT the same thing as DCing.
It actually blows me away how many people downvoted my previous post. Like, honestly. Do you honestly believe that you deserve points for sucking enough to get hooked? If you are on that hook, you have FAILED. Period. The goal is SURVIVAL. You got CAUGHT. There's even an emblem that penalizes you for even going down. Suck less, get more points. Holy entitled nerd alert, lol
Maybe stop calling people stupid, nerds, entitled, etc.

Also, the evidence that Distressing's increased TR was created as a bonus is that its radius increased from tiers 1 to 3. If it was created as a downside in exchange for the bonus points then it would decrease from tiers 1 to 3.

@Redd @brokedownpalace it´s beneficial to 1 or 2 killers. But for the rest it´s not beneficial.

It's Night Shroud. But yes I agree.

Distressing wasn't created to have a downside. It's a bonus on some killers, play styles and in combination with certain perks and a hindrance to others.
-
While in development she was probably at 2 minutes 30 seconds so they typed up the tips, then they adjusted her before release and this went unnoticed.
-
Given that they recently delayed stuff like the dev update and the reddit AMA I think they are behind for some reason.
