even in the ptb I was managing 4ks every game after my first few, I saw his potential even then when he was even more buggy, slow and his lunge was way worse
but as soon as they announced fixes and buffs I knew he would be up to snuff to be a main due to his fun factor, power, and skill ceiling

I'd called it QoL but its still will be an overall buff due to it letting him track survivors much more easily and also makes it so a single purple fog thickening offering doesn't randomly blind him like it does now.
yea overall buff from fixing an unintended nerf
because the nerf was unintended aka the rendering ingame being shorter than what they expected that would make it a bug fix for QoL rather than a buff

If you can do that kudos. Although he did un a bit it was a straight 180 flick. You cant do that on console atleast kinda. He has high dpi. I've never seen any blight pull that off. Heres another.
https://clips.twitch.tv/InterestingKnottyEmuPartyTime
I love that though, the fact you dont get stopped by objects from lethal rush attacks.
im actually managing it at 1600 dpi with 100% ingame mouse sensitivity (maybe on the 2nd one) you don't need to have hyper sensitivity if you are willing to break your wrist, I would say the second clip is even more skill from the first since he capitalized on the injured sounds even while rushing which is hard to do

He didn't receive his 2nd buff until about a week or two after release which lets blight go for these more aggressive lethal rushes due to not being completely bodied by pallets.
Anyways its pretty telling how bad a killer was on the PTB if they are receiving their THIRD CONSECUTIVE BUFF SOONtm.
Remember first impressions matter a lot to perception and he had a pretty bad first two impressions.
the third one isn't really a buff because they never intended his camera to be that low ingame so its more like a bugfix than a buff
-
yea I can do that, he turned sharp before his swing to get a deeper angle and used the fact that you don't get stopped mid attack to slide along the hook into a hit around the corner, something an above average blight could do

it would be cool for the simple fact it's changing the base game mechanics..it'd be something completely different.
I doubt it would be "OP", two people not on comms, one of them can't down healthy survivors and still gets cucked by lockers. You're still facing a basic M1 killer and then adding an extra goblin running around..i think it'd be fun from both perspectives
thats what I thought but the only change I think would have to be made would be, give a small stun for 3-4 seconds when victor latches onto someone and a brief invulnerability after hitting a survivor with charlotte so you can't instadown people if you are that coordinated
-
@FrostySeal said:
It would be neat if 2 players could control the twins but there would have to be a bunch of changes to them to make them fair to go up against, otherwise they'd probably be one of the best killers since you can have 2 people pressuring the map at the same time.
but there is a good amount to remember even in its current state, victor on his own cannot down a survivor from healthy or hook survivors, charlotte on her own is a 115% speed killer who would be getting slowed down whenever victor gets kicked for the unbind victor animation, it would be closer to spirit esc gameplay where it revolves around charlotte injuring targets and victor finishing them off for optimal gameplay which sounds close to spirit esque gameplay with charlotte having to follow up after as basically a cleaning crew or legion esque trying to finish off an injured target with your kidnapped brother on them
even then I think they would still be outclassed by some killers but I think its alright to have a strong killer if it requires coordination and teamwork
the gameplay seems it would be closer to a mix of spirit esque and legion esque gameplay
-
Honestly id just remove one of its current conditions and it would instantly become more useful in every situation
either Remove the cooldown
or remove the m1 restriction
but not both because that is a bit much

I main killer, and have yet to come across a Blood Lodge with more than 2 pallets across all the middle tiles. I've also counted no more than 10 pallets on Azarovs resting place every time i've played it, which is literally the biggest autohaven map.
Wretched shop had lots of pallets when I played it the few times I did, but they were largely unsafe (aka, git gud, and learn to mind game). Same with Gas Heaven and Wreckers Yard.
well on my end I had a gas haven with every filler pallet spawned most of which are the strong varients which totals up to 8 filler pallets not including the 3 from the main building the shack and the 3 tiles which is 15 pallets + windows which is plenty this was with the broken down truck tho so I guess thats the balancing point
-
Seemingly I think hes right, for some reason the pendulum that swung randomly between fair and unfair map generation on autohaven has been scrapped for a coin flip of one or the other instead of any middle ground, peoples experiences either are this map is way too stacked (mine and ops) or this map is dead empty
-
you just haven't been on a college campus
-
you could always go into your tv settings to change brightness and colors there, most tvs are auto set for tv mode instead of game mode which affects color, saturation, and brightness
-
She is still the strongest killer in the game but the nerf from her rework aka gutting until not even basekit was fun anymore just like billy she became so boring to play with the game slowing you down whenever it can which prevents what made old nurse to fun and interesting to people
instead you now have blight who is arguably second in line behind nurse for being the strongest in the game and has a comparable skill ceiling + fun factor of being a pin ball
-
I haven't seen bloodlodge but as far as I have seen there are no more tank tread tiles and filler pallet spawns have increased, and being autohaven all of the filler pallet tiles you can see over and are decently strong
-
Is this including blights double fatigue that sometimes happens if you use alchemists ring and rush after getting tokens recharged by hitting a survivor
(while its not a double fatigue it just stops you 0.1 seconds after starting another dash and immediately puts you into fatigue)
-
In terms of raw power and skill ceiling height, nurse and blight are far and above the average killer, personally I would recommend blight because he is probably one of the most fun killers in the game due to his mobility and power. And being the 2nd strongest in the game (in my opinion with 1600 hours and having played every killer to an extent) is pretty high up for how much fun he is
it probably only takes 3-4 hours to get into a sweet spot for being able to do decently as blight while still having room for learning and mistakes

There are some totems on reworked Autohaven that are better hidden than before.
Btw that's the risk of taking Hex Perks, they are supposed to be high risk and high reward perks. If you're taking a hex you have to take into account that the map can be an Autohaven or Disturbed Ward and you lose the perk 30 seconds in, or it can be Midwich or Dead Dawg and it stays up the entire game. It will always be a gamble.
Besides that, you're using Undying, a totem defense perk, so defend it.
see thats the mentality I don't understand you chose a specific perk type that can be countered, so play around rng making it worthless
rng just shouldn't make perks worthless in the first place regardless of calling it a "HIGH RISK HIGH REWARD PERK" when only 2 of them are good and the rest are either totem defense perks (which shouldn't exist because them being hidden should be enough) or third seal
dead dogs hiding is too much and autohavens is too little, but that doesn't make it wrong to ask for a baseline middle ground instead of way out in the open or in a spot you can see from across the map
and yes you can say but high risk high reward but what perks even match that description besides ruin and devour hope
-
Its almost like people don't want to play the new killer when they are both extremely weak and extremely buggy at the same time

So, as it is, Corrupt Viabilty is most commonly used for late game effects, for a 3-gen strat. What I propose the change is, is as follows:
The 2 furthest generators from your starting location, as well as the gen closest to you, are blocked for 80/100/120 seconds
________
Simple fix for the more braindead in-game application to the perk.
no one uses it that way the use it to gain early pressure while stopping survivor from working on gens for a bit
-
bloit
-
well I do think addons that change the power are interesting, addons that directly make the power useless seems too much even for meme addons
-
The video literally shows shack + god tier filler pallet + junglegym (cant tell which variant) next to a LT wall with another god tier filler pallet on the same path, 4 pallets all exeptionally strong in that portion of the map + 4 windows to use 2 of which are guaranteed to be good
I don't know about you but not only is that only 1/4 of that massive map but that 1/4 is brimming with strong loops windows and pallets, just because there isn't 14 crappy filler pallets doesn't mean its bad zone on the map it just means you have to be good enough to use it

No keys from chests, only one person out

You can't build in an anti tunnel power into EVERY survivor until 12 hooking becomes viable.
This would just make the game incredibly hard against SWF groups and people who split gens on big maps.
Maybe if the game was actually balanced along side this then that'd be ok.
12 hooking is viable, just not on all killers, mostly nurse and blight rn

They didn't change exactly what I felt like should be changed, gotta throw the whole game away

Nah, I don't think I will, if I'm not having fun, oh well, too bad right?
I think its quite illegal for these devs to add such forceful-ness to game where its unbalanced and is not balanceable.
In my books, dc'ing is good.
If you aren't having fun then don't play the game specifically if you are going in with the mindset if I don't get to have fun I'm going to ruin everyone else experience, you sound like a child who didn't get the Christmas toys they wanted and cried so then you got nothing instead and decided to throw away everyone elses Christmas toys because of it, because your mindset is seemingly if you aren't happy why should anyone else be happy.
ALSO totally not illegal what they are doing because plenty of other unbalanced games have even worse disconnection penalties overwatch, rainbow six siege, csgo with permanent bans from leaving a handful of ranked matches, and also you signed an end user licensing agreement pretty much giving them full reign to do what ever they want with your end product experience
In my books you just ruin other peoples experiences on a whim and are seemingly not stable enough to be playing this kind of online game

Heard it here folks. Counter to a swf team rushing gens with toolboxes and Built To Last is to just not let them do generators.
Same logic.
sure taking a 5 word sarcastic response out of context and applying new meaning to it to meet you quota of self righteousness is something you could do
-
..

I also think people forget that the development cycle for new content in this game takes around 9-12 months, so there isn't a flash solution they will ever implement because they run their game like a business (which I mean it is) so there will never be flash changes to something that they didn't decide 9 months in advance unless its EXTREMELY dire
-
Blight, its nurse tier with nurse skill ceiling but more fun, best map control in the game

Sounds quite sweaty and very tryhardy. Nah I just wont play survivor outside of a few rare situations where one of my friends is playing. I'm just gonna give up on this topic. Tunneling is staying for better or worse. Trying to change that is pointless.
then don't play solo queue to win, in my experience playing killer and survivor (mostly always 99% killer) if you play solo queue to tryhard and win it is very unlikely that you succeed

The killer has no control over that, and you know it.
maybe your killer doesn't but with blight I catch more people not at pallets then at pallets

So you're argument against how to survive against a good Nurse is to not die?
That's biggest 5head I've seen all day, got anymore tips?
A bad blight can only turn about 1 corner to hit you during his power, but a good blight can turn up to 2 or even 3 if in the right spot with the right angle, walking around those junk piles might be safe now but don't hold you breaths as blights get more experienced
blight turning addons are second to his movement speed addons which also give turning relative to their speed, +10% speed (when using both) per token used also gives +10% turn rate which means you can thread the needle at high speeds with enough skill and you don't lose out on any functionality as long as you can control the speed, and your reward is 2 things, you can use your power at more loops to get hits that survivors don't expect or try and play around 90% of the time, and you can move at up to 322% speed for 3 seconds aka fast enough to go from not in terror radius to hitting a survivor and making them brown their trousers
blight slam duration addons are a joke, fatigue reduction isn't much better
his best addon combination for heavy power usage and extreme aggression is alchemists ring + shredded notes, where you either have a max cooldown of 6.66 seconds or no cooldown at all
best average build is just slap on a shredded notes or alchemists ring and whatever iridescent, compound 21, Vigo's journal, or speed addon you feel at that point
blight is another killer like nurse that directly scales in power level with skill far above the rest of the crowd to the point where a god tier blight much like a god tier nurse can play the survivor team like like Franz Bluheim plays the flute

people need to realize it's only really good on SWF teams because I play solo 99% of the time and hardly ever use it and just faced a pig and it was nothing but a hindrance. It's getting to the point that I don't even want to play solo anymore unless I play as killer

turning addons are overated, movement speed addons already give built in turning addons
-
I miss LT wall pallets
-
Its probably a bug that occurred due to them changing code in the game with hopefully plans to make perks have only 2 tiers or no tiers at all
-
Full rework,
Hex blood favor: getting stunned by 2 pallets turns a dull totem into a hex totem
while this hex is active dropped pallets within 32 meters of you break automatically after 14/12/10 seconds (must be full 10 seconds not cumulative) multiple instances of this totem make it take 2 seconds less time to automatically break
(doesn't start with a hex totem in the match)

-
A blight using turn addons? must be a newer blight turn addons are boring and bad at the same time
-
I can't speak for most killers but I do know the fastest way to improve as blight
start with shredded notes + any other decent addon, overuse your power until you have a good feel for it and can do decently with it even while overusing it
move on to double speed play with that for 50 or so games
go back to no speed addons and you will feel the game going in slow motion and are much more deadly
