I have other comment to say to you. remember our discussion regarding deathslinger regarding counter-play, Blight might potentially have zero counter-play options against survivors turning circular or linear objects or even faking going one side, then just turning other side from this extremely crippled lunge. Just remember that its people like you that force developers hands to design these impossible to play around drawbacks for m1 killers that render their power worthless. I hope this power has enough counter-play where even when a survivor is completely out of position, the killer is not even guaranteed to get a hit. Its like worse than playing killer with no power at all.
Currently movement is bugged on console 360s and such teleport you. Also I just said in my comment that I feel he should have free turning. People like me just want fun killers like billy, oni, nurse, huntress (when she works). Those are all strong killers who have counterplay.

Console fps is pretty good right now @Orion if pc fps Is really that bad you will understand why those posts were made.

I don't think it's coincidental at all that Oni generated a ton of controversy due to the performance gap between mouse and analog stick turning speed, and subsequently PH and Blight both have severely limited power flick with the mouse.
I've been flicking with oni since I bought him, it really is not difficult on controller.

Because survivors need a counter to everything and anything a killer can do or it is "BORING"
You should stop insulting survivors. I honestly would rather him have free turning but that's me. I am a survivor main have been since day one. Also if the killer truly doesn't have real chase counter play it is in fact boring. Would you like survivors to pre-throw and rush gens? That's the equivalent of boring killers.

What are your overall thoughts on this perkbuild? I’ve seen this quite often lately. Yesterday there was a full SWF playing against Otz. 3 of them running this perkbuild the last one was running Adrenaline, DS and Unbreakable. They played on Haddonfield, Otz was playing Doc. They weren’t playing good. One got even grabbed. It was one of those cases you see survivors escaping, solely because of their perkbuild after playing super bad. They were farming each other off the hooks. Not taking protection hits after unhooks. Not using BT. No teamplay at all.
I wonder if survivors need even more second chance perks. Or maybe just add another hook, so killers can only kill them on the fourth hook. Sad to see perks becoming stronger than skill in this game.
But what are your thoughts on this perkbuild? What do you think about the synergy between Unbreakable, Soul Guard and Decisive Strike? Does this need to get nerfed?
In theory its op but I 4k'd against a swf with it. Maybe with optimal teams I would say so. I never run into it often.

I have been looking for a new killer main (last was ghostface) and my eyes have locked in for doctor so I ask l, is he any good at this point in the game.
Pretty easy to learn but most important learn when to shock to stop pallet drops and to win 50/50 guaranteed.

You're right that chases are fun but chasing a single survivor for all 5 gens, being able to chain loops just because of the RNG is not fun for the killer either.
Alright gonna break this down for you. For starters if the chase is going on for too long drop it smart killers realize this early. Chaining loops takes actual skill.
Not every survivor can effectively chain windows or pallets. There is an exception to god loops. But being able to chain T and L walls into let's say a shack window is no easy feat.
Honestly a 5 gen chase should never happen unless you are a bad killer or the survivor is seriously outplaying you. I admit being ran for a long time isn't fun but it usually is your fault.

Considering this isn't a 1v1 pvp game and that it's in fact a 4v1 pvp game, the killer should ideally be around 4 times stronger than an individual survivor. There's a reason why the strongest strategy to ensure a survivor win is splitting up and doing gens. The point of an individual survivor is to maximize the time wasted by the killer chasing them while the other survivors do gens. Teamwork is the core of survivor gameplay.
Pyramid head ranged attack isn't guaranteed, it has a DPI slowdown like the deathslinger's does, it's very hard to aim, that's why the only way ph even hits his ranged attack is if survivors are stuck in an animation or otherwise stunned.
Killers that can circumvent or limit the effects of throwing safe pallets down are generally seen as the strongest on this game, and those that can't are seen as the weakest. Clown has one of the strongest anti loop powers in this game, but he's trash because there's not much he can do once the pallet has been thrown. The killer needs to be strong and the killer needs to be able to catch survivors, this is not a 1v1 game, it's a 4v1 game. I don't think many players realize the strength in numbers nor do they realize that in order for the game to be balanced, survivors have to be able to be caught by the killer. In fact it's more than that, considering it takes 12 hooks to fully kill all the survivors.
So I other words it's fine he has an oppressive chase ability because I'd 1v4 and you can gen rush him. Cool this convo Is over. Gen rushing an splitting on gens is boring and ends the game too quickly. Chases are fun if i cant have fun doing that then might as well winter switch sides.

Yes, if you go against a more experienced player than yourself, you can expect to lose. You are seeing this interaction in a vacuum, and an experienced survivor would do things so that they aren't put into that situation in the first place. The very obvious and simple thing to do is to throw down pallets early and then play them until the PH kicks them. Experienced survivors tend to not put themselves into positions that make them vulnerable to killers at unsafe loops unless they absolutely have to. You have to look at the game from a bigger picture than just one interaction.
An experienced survivor versus an experienced PH is still a win for the killer. With PH the most if the situations you are found in are a bad one.
If you are running to a filler if you run through the pallet you either A eat the range or B dodge and eat the m1. A jungle gym if you go and take the windis vault you A eat the range or B dodge and eat the m1. The only safe-ish structures are tractors and other inclines on the map as the range cant bend upwards.
If you prethrow hes gonna shoot you with the range.

@ZaKzan said:

Like I laid out, all you have to do is look behind you and see how close the PH is to you. You seem to think this interaction is static, but it's not. If the PH is close enough to you to m1, they are also close enough to stun, barring some circumstances like with corners. If they are not close enough to you to m1, you can continue running. The PH also has to be within a certain distance to even attempt this juke. Watching a good killer do this to a bad survivor very obviously makes it look unbalanced, but the interaction is a little more nuanced.
Regardless of the fact if hes close enough to m1 I've seen PH use the ranged. If you ever go against an experienced PH you will see the unwinnable situations you are put into. This killer has been bs since day one. I was disappointed with his release.

If you're only going for saws, that's your fault. If you only use his saw for a clear insta down or to gain distance then the overhear mechanic shouldn't bother you at all. Old billy took no skill and was no fun to play against. Insta down power, no cooldown, covers distance incredibly fast, he was just too much reward for no skill, especially those fiveheads who just rev until they're on you. That's just annoying. I'd accept a out of place chainsaw I didn't see coming over a douche getting up on me to get a quick insta down.
I went against a billy today who played like that. Tried to keep holding rev so he could insta down me. I ran him around 1 small loop and a T wall next to it. I had 2 pallets. I stayed there with him long enough for my team to do 3 gens till he decided to peal off from me. I kept punishing him for trying to only chainsaw me and made him run into the wall like 5 times, hugging that loop CLOSE. He was also rank 1. You guys need to learn to adapt and only use your chainsaw for skillfully calculated hits or distance coverage. Stop whining cause you want your easy no skill killer back. Appreciate that they're making the game more interesting.
Nah man I disagree you must be bad at surv if you think old Billy was fun except insta saw.

It just needs decreasing to 30 seconds and pause during a chase. If you're not being chased 30 seconds after being unhooked, you're not being tunnelled. Having it deactivate when a survivor jumps in a locker wouldn't be a bad idea, either. The only problems with current DS are the ways survivors abuse it (jumping in lockers, running directly into the killer with it active, taking Unbreakable alongside it so the killer can't do anything about it) and the fact that a killer can hook several other survivors and still get hit by it.
Oh and as this topic has turned into "But what about NOED?" - DO BONES. 80 seconds worth of totem cleansing isn't too much to ask.
Killers will moonwalk the 30 seconds and tunnel you through it's short time.

No killer right now needs any serious rework. Some small nerfs to a few of top tier killers are warranted but demaning full rework to killers like spirit or slinger with main argument that they don't have counterplay which is false is unjustified.

Now I wanna start by saying that I’m not trying hate or bash on umbra because I actually love her and lover her content and in my eyes she’s a very good killer on pc but some people that I’m really close with on Xbox played against her twice in one day around 3 days ago (,yes it was a SWF) and did a good job and managed to get 2 people out on 1 match and 3 on the other. Umbra is a very chill streamer so she didn’t really complain. But this is an example for the people on PC that you guys are escapable and killable. Ever since cross-play came out it’s disgusting how pc players especially the Some TTV streamers bash on console players for being bad. I play on PC as well and it’s safe to say that all platforms play the same way just cause you’re on M&K doesn’t mean crap.
You speaking facts but it seems the mods dont care about pc players talking down to console players sadly.

Because players need video evidence to be able to show that someone's being a bad boy, rather than relying on the general player to always be recording their own gameplay, the game can add their own kind of recording, and do it in such a way so the game won't be flooded with recordings that show nothing of interest while also not having to take video editing into consideration.
So from the moment the trial starts, the game records the trial from the perspectives of all players.
As you may know, as long as there's one person still left in the trial, even at the scoreboard screen, the "group" hasn't really disbanded yet, you are still able to report after the other 4 have already left.
So as long as this "group" hasn't disbanded, the recordings are still available, but will be gone once the final player leaves.
When reporting a player, it automatically attaches the recording to that report and will be sent.
Optionally, they could make it so your perspective is also attached when you report someone, to show you've nothing to hide.
Reports would gain a huge boost in validity, "evidence" added to reports would go up from the current lowest possible percentages (i'd wager) to 100%, and there can be no concerns about the footage having been edited.
I am not a programmer, not at all, but how plausible does this seem to add, my dear reader?
Oh, also: How good or bad of an addition would it even be?
This is a great idea. Ngl just like fortnite built i in recording this would be great to check if a players cheating.

Dude all a 1v1 proves is that one player is better than another, nothing else. That is why I won't take his challenge because it doesn't actually prove anything about the game.
And for the record I never took a 1v1 in my over 20k hours of Gears of War series either, despite being way better than like 95% of the player base (I was placed in diamond rank for TDM and Guardian in the first season of Gears 4, as in I got put in the absolute highest rank from placement matches alone). If I said Lancer is overpowered in Gears 4, someone would come up and say "well 1v1 me with Lancer I'll beat you". Thing is that Lancer by itself isn't OP, it's only OP when you stack them IE. during a team fight. It is easy to avoid 1 guy with a Lancer. It is not so easy to avoid 3 guys with Lancers all covering each other's blind spots, and covering all your approach options. Furthermore, a 1v1 here is the same thing; just show who is the better player nothing else. No one ever proved anything about the game doing a 1v1 in Gears, even when what they were trying to prove was actually quite obvious (eg. Retro in Gears 3 is OP, anyone that plays this game knows this).
In order to prove things about the game you have to play an actual match. Playing a 1v1 in a bubble outside the normal game does not prove a damn thing except which player is better.
You just contradicted yourself. "All 1v1 do is prove one player is better than another. I never took a 1v1 despite being better than 95% of the players." It's fine you cant prove spirit has counterplay.
A 1v1 doesn't just show who's better than another. If you say there is counterplay why not showcase it 1v1 or not you should be able to do it. The only artificial thing is the predetermined start area other than that it's a normal chase which you keep trying to say otherwise.
On your gears situation season 1 in ranked match was busted placing diamond meant nothing and the opponents 4 years ago were not good. Diamond in the later seasons such as 6 took more skill.
You claim you beat some many spirits and outplay them and everyone just refuses to learn how to loop differently. Scott jund is no different. Its whatever though man if you cant showcase the counterplay it only makes you look bad.

That's not the point I'm trying to get across here. The fact isn't a matter of skill its a matter or optimization and limiting abilities due to frames and or resolution. Just last night i was playing as bubba and frames would drop and teleport me into objects while sweeping my chainsaw. Or oni and the entire framerate would drop next to nothing. Its terrible and i dont think it a fair or equal match for pc to 1v1 someone from console.
Once again in a custom game the frames are great. Trust me we can try it out if you want its Azame San on xbox. Restart your game and let's hop in a custom just us two and run around and experience it.

I've had a lot different of an experience with cross play. Sure I've had games where i escaped pc killers but that just meant the killer wasn't that great. If there were to be any 1v1 both sides should have equal variables. Whether or not you have had a good experience its still a difference at the end of the day.
You underestimate mine, yours, and all our console players skills. Escaping a pc killer does not make them bad.
In a custom the game runs extremely well if you would go try it you wouldnt try and make more excuses. Maybe you are a really good player and you dont know.

I mean I went against a pc streamer and only lost due to the fact that we had an early dc. And if you wanna see the footage I uploaded it. Frames as survivor sodsnt make you a worst looper. 30 frames if it truly is capped is not that bad I'm telling you.

I can't believe you guys are that much wrong... truetalent is not pro looper at all! honestly! he is pretty good at killer but still just good at looping
Once I faced one guy name "BANSHEE" as a Claudette... anyone here was that player? he looped the 4ss out of my Bubba
I reckon Ayron is pretty good looper because he looks constantly to the BACK, matter that True for sure did not learn yet, but not God-mode
Some lessons I am learning:
- Huntress is the best to practice the looping skills
- Do NOT waste unnecessarily a pallet unless you are JUST about to get caught
- Go back to looping areas that still have pallets (deployed or not)
- squeeze to the maximum the hut and other potential looping areas
- equip the right perks like Iron Will
- memorize all the maps to know where are the pallets and safe loops
- do 360 insanely (some PC players use allegal macros and PS4 players can do it easily)
- escape from a loop when the killer is doubtfull and start again in a new place
The REAL difficulty of looping is making prompt decisions (like in 0,1 seconds) in REAL TIME, you gotta have GREAT reflexes
I know everyone in this forum hates Och*do but he is pretty good to learn how to loop properly
I never said he was pro I said he was good. Well not even good average survivor. Tru3 is a killer main. Sure he can handle some loops he just isnt like people like Ussylis.

People who play the game for 8-16 hours a day ( I've seen straight 24 hour streams ) literally go through blood points like they're a drug they're addicted to. The amount of moris they get is automatically greater than anything you or me are going to see based off the amount of bloodwebs they are going through. I stand by statement that youre a liar man. As it is now, Spine Chill provides too much information with not enough draw backs, as I don't know many survivors who have a hard time hitting a skill check with a 10% reduction. Personally, I like that it makes skill checks occur more often; they aren't difficult to hit, and if I get a great one, it provides a boost to repair times. On top of that, it increases all different kinds of speeds.
Although, I think the most broken part of it, is how hard it counters stealth killers, and my suggestion is going to revolve mostly around that. It's just insane that it activates multiple times, and can clearly indicate when a killer is approaching from THIRTY-SIX meters away. Most survivors hide when the perk icon remains lit for 2-3 seconds, meaning they have a good 5 seconds to get somewhere.
My suggestion for Spine Chill retains these benefits:
- Get notified when the Killer is looking directly in your direction and standing within a range of 36 metres.
- Any time spine chill is active, your Repair, Healing, Sabotage, Unhooking, Vaulting, Cleansing, Exit Gate Opening, and Chest Searching speeds are increased by 2/4/6 %.
But, instead of activating and deactivating repeatedly, spine chill does this:
- While the killer looks in your direction, fear wells up inside of you until you can no longer take it. Once Spine Chill has been activated by the killer for 3 seconds in total, you are overcome with fear, and Spine Chill remains active for the next 10 seconds. During this time the icon remains lit and active, giving you no indication of whether the killer has turned away or not.
- While you are overcome with fear, you have tunnel vision, shrouding your FOV by 10 degrees and your breathing is strained, becoming 50% louder.
- After the 15 seconds have passed, Spine Chill resets until the killer activates it again.
Yes make another perk uselessness I continue to run my meta heavy build!

Well regardless of that I stand by my point the game in a custom 1v1 runs significantly better and pretty good. If theh were to do that it would make it "fair."

I said few weeks. Please learn to read, then you can speak. :)
Any any case - if you're getting that many moris a "day", which I'll say is a bold faced lie (yes, I'm calling you a liar, you're exaggerating), then perhaps you should get out of yellow ranks.
Huh someone's calling out a minor mistake regardless the point stands. I get alot of moris in a single day you week to not get many in a few weeks.
If you truly think I'm lying then you obviously have no real argument. Moris are common here on xbox. Just how it is. Dont call me a liar without any proof.
@Babyyy_Boyy I'm a yellow rank right? 🤣
Xbox Clips is the best place to find and view your Xbox clips, Xbox game clips, and download all of your greatest xbox videos and screenshots. The best xboxclips website, better than xboxclips.com.Theres that if you need more proof of my rank. Maybe try and argument without insulting the person you are arguing with. Thats a logical fallacy.

But the entire thing is set up and doesn't represent the actual game.
Again my buddy is a solid survivor. We play in KYF I can catch him really fast because it's just us and in a controlled environment. In an actual game I doubt I could catch him anywhere near that fast because I'm not chasing him in a bubble.
The customs will only have predetermined start areas that's it why are you trying so hard to not do this 1v1?

Imagine thinking a 1v1 proves anything in DBD.
It can for one prove if a killers 1v1 needs tweaking due to its oppressive ability *cough deathslinger cough*. Keep making excuses because I though you could "read" all these spirits stridor included, but when scott comes you cant prove it lol.

The game might run better with less people, but it definitely does not run at 60 FPS or even "extremely smooth". Look at the skill checks. The game is CAPPED at 30 FPS. Games don't just magically run at a higher FPS.
Regardless of that fact the game runs extremely good and it's a non issue making that an excuse.
