Hey im Azame. I'm from the us. I play basketball but love video games. I like to listen to lo fi music when I want to relax. If I'm not playing games I'm always on netflix or watching anime. My favorite anime is Dr. Stone
I've been playing dbd for a good 3 years so I think its safe to say I kinda like it. I'm open to play with anyone so uhhh yeah.

Its made that way read hints when you play her. Its said you can fake you are using your power to get a hit.Spirit is mindgame as trapper guiding surv to your traps.
By that same logic the devs also said using DS outside of tunneling is smart in the rework post but it's still called abuse lol.

they should've just made it where you have to actually aim at the eyes and not the chest area
They already did that years ago they just messed up the beam placement. These devs cant do nothing right.

although here’s how I personally would identify the characters.. I would love to hear feed back so feel free to lemme know if you agree or disagree with anything - !!!!!! EDIT: THIS IS MY OPINION AND IM NOT SAYING THIS SHOULD BE CANNON !!!! SORRY IF IT DOESNT MATCH YOURS !!!!!!

If you don't like when killers bring strong perks, addons, mories or play "scummy" (aka effeciently) and want them not to do such things for whatever reason (mainly because you lose ability to have fun in such match), then please bother not to bring in strong perks, strong items and not rush gens/hold matches hostage by stealthing and so on.
If you aren't ready to change your playstyle and not to use things the killer may deem unfun, don't expect or demand the killer to change their playstyle or not to use the things you may deem unfun.
And if you just cannot have fun without using things that other side hates, then why do you think they can have fun without using things that you hate?
Only things I find unfun are iri head/ and the trio of boring killers other than that I dont tbag unless I want attention or gen rush.
I'll never stop bring strong perks in because why should I bring bad perks in?

Imo Yamaoka is way worse than Badham right now. The breakable walls on Family Residence are as dumb as Badham's (no killer is going to break those) and made the house unloopable. And now the map is just a huge dead zone that has 5 pallets total. Playing killer on the new Yamaokas has been no fun because it's just a matter of catching up because the middle of these maps have no loops at all.
Im referring to sanctum of wrath which is fire now. Family Resident is badham in terms of pallets.

Honestly, the Trapper can get so much ######### done if the basement is inside the school and he trapped the remaining doors, basically an avalanche.
its a free win if the trapper brings the one basement offering for main building.

The breakable walls on badham are insane. They basically removed any good loops on that map. And why even make them breakable as like you said no killer with a brain cell is going to break them lol.
Exactly a smart killer would never break them. Might as well make them solid or make a tool survivors can get to break it themselves. They are killing maps and calling it "balance."

The worst one I've heard was probably the bug that allowed you to blind the killer at any point during the pickup animation to guarantee a drop. Maybe it wasn't a bug, but I can't remember what my friend told me.
Wasnt a bug. Abused the hell out of it though lol.

At least I'm used to that. It must be horrible to come from a time period where they worked properly. :-(
No not really I've re learned time and time again. You can still do all the tricks except with a shorter window because they sped up the pickup animation and awkward angle. Other than that just takes time to get better with em.

So new Preschool has destructible walls on both sides and basically guarantees a generator in one of the two basement locations or the 1 in the corner room of the 1st floor. I had the joy of playing trapper on this map and just putting 2 traps on both doorways basically locking the entire building down, bonus points since my Hex: Devour Hope was down there.
There is 0 reason to ever kick open either of those doors unless they are already inside and 3 manning that last generator as you hook the 4th guy and want to get in there to mess them up and maybe get a pop off.
I thought they were adding destructible walls to help reduce the strength of strong loops... these are actual killer noob traps - sort of like opening all the ramps on Midwich (in most cases).
Also what happened to adding that same killer shack door like Dead Dog Saloon whenever they reworked a killer shack? Did that just get thrown out the window?
It's a bandaid fix for infinites other than that they killed the map barely any pallets and if there is they are all short.

So as the title suggests since the new update I have have experience heavy loss of FPS lately especially on the new graphics update map as killer. I can’t say much as survivor since I been trying to get better at the blight as of late but I’m curious to know if you have experience any, especially on the new graphics updated maps as well?
Also the other issues that I have face is when I want to break pallet, hook survivor or vault a window the input just won’t go through ( which is pretty annoying and that it can cost a game). Now I don’t know if that’s a me issue. But I have never experience that kind of issues on any other games before just this one.
I just wish that we as a console player could get an optimizations for the game on console. But I doubt that it will come anytime soon.
No this update fixed my frames on ormond and even silent hill its considerably better. In the classic maps its heaven.

Dedicated hits aren't the killers fault. Blame that on BHVR.
But okay - now you're at the "excuses" phase to try and strengthen the "argument" you never really had. Chill. It's not going well for you.
And no. I don't want to see your clips. Not interested in your stream. And no - allowing gens to get done isn't the killer "messing up". End game builds also exist.
Dont remember saying the reason dedi hits exist are the killers fault. What I did say was that it isnt always the survivors fault they went down.
Im confused what excuses have I made to strengthen my argument?
It's a clip from my xbox not my stream weirdo lol. Yes allowing gens to get done is the killers fault if they are supposed to be protecting them.

You got caught. So you screwed up. The killer hasn't really messed up the game and lost until the doors are opened and everyone is gone (This is why Blood Warden exists). Just like survivors haven't escaped until they are out the door.
But again - you got caught, and therefore you screwed up; and you were rewarded for it with a free skillcheck outplay (KEK).
What if I got caught due to dedicated hits and oh boy I get those alot I even have clips from the past 2 days if you need evidence. The killer did mess up because they allowed the survivors to get closer to winning the game. Putting more pressure on themselves because there are less gens left even though it's not technically over.
You are only awarded the skill check if you are caught again.

*jeopardy music*
Whack a mole is fun. Please keep going.

DS stops the killer from deleting you in 2 seconds. It has no affect on your skill as a looper which is the thing that takes the most skill.

even when I play killer I've noticed that I'm been getting hits that I shouldn't be getting more often now.
No it's because for some odd reason they allow the killer to have hit priority as if it was p2p and they were host regardless of the fact it's a server now and the killer isnt 0 ping. My while problem is that it's almost every game the killer is a vpn/bad wifi. It's actually aabsurd that the devs neglect to fix it sooner.

You clearly didnt look up fast enough. I dont know what to tell you. No killer main I know complains and about not being able to dodge flashlights. Let's just stop this discussion just practice and you will see flashlights really arent that strong unless combined with sprint burst or locker saves.

Ok then you are the problem that's still exaggeration you are the only one having problems with that. That only worked with insta blind days. What you said just Is not true you have bad reaction time.

That's called perfect timing that's been in the game for a while. If you blind at a certain time it's a guaranteed save. Now I get what you are trying to say.
azame san playing Dead by Daylight: Special Edition at XboxClips.coThis clip shows exactly what you are talking about he turns around yet he still got blinded. Its just how flashlights work. If you blind at the perfect time you get it no matter what.

You might as well be able to blind people from behind at this rate. You don't have to aim anywhere near the eyes; your positioning is hardly something to be practiced.
And yes, the window is still huge. Just because it was huger then doesn't mean it isn't huge now.
We can easily go into a custom you are exaggerating heavily.

Ok you are making gross exaggerations sure it extends a bit outside the eyes but it's not side blinds. That's like 2017 stuff lol. Exaggerating doesnt help your point. I can link you a ussylis video which shows where you can blind with or without shadowborn/monitor. You want the link?

If you want to actually divert the Killer as effectively as possible? Yes, you have to learn how to hold W.
Flashlight saves are just easy in general. They have a huge window for timing and aiming; it's so very lenient. Anyone who finds it hard is just bad.
There is no learning in holding w. It Is what the name says.
Flashlights dont have a huge window anymore nor are they lenient if you dont have proper position or the killer is atleast half decent you arent getting one. That's where locker flashlight saves come in.

It's not hard to learn. Flashlight saves are easy to learn, easy to understand, and easy to do. They're just easy.
You arent understanding you dont have to hold w but you have to do gens.
Flashlight saves are easy for you and me but I know people who say they cant do it. I dont understand why cant you get the fact that not everyone is gonna pick up flashlights quickly/easily.

Exactly, hopefully we get a fix for deadzones soon, it makes the game unfun for me as a killer, like there is no skill involved in just holding W and M1 when in range.
That is the reason why I tend to be "rude" here on the forums, there are nice people and there are bad ones, you can tell most of the time who is who.
I dont think deadzones are gonna be fixed new killer mains tend to complain. But then again so do survivor mains.
Finding the nice, reasonable people are definitely the ones I wish I could speak to more.

Yeah, I shouldn't have to destroy my build just so I don't get punished because Survivors hold M2 in a 12-mile radius of my character.
And yeah, I'm sure you don't run any second chances at all. I'm suuuure you don't.
I mentioned a hypothetical scenario where you could see the Killer. The fact you couldn't deduce that just shows how big-brained you truly are.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1607711#Comment_1607711
Most Survivors also can't hold W, apparently. That's why Legion has a kill rate above 0%.
Just because "not everyone can do it" doesn't mean it's hard. Not everyone can replace a toilet seat, but it's quite easy to do. It's an even worse metric for DBD since most people are terrible at the game—case in point, people who think flashlight saves are hard.
Holding w is boring that's why nobody does it. Also it may be easy when you know it but not when you first learn as most things in life are.

I wish people could be this civil when discussing, it would make life easier.
Anyways to the topic, the devs so far have been doing amazing work, I just want a few maps to not be deadzones, that is just sad like I main Oni and as you may know, the counter for him is either pre drop or go to a safe place, sadly there are barely any safe places now, pre dropping isn't a thing when the map has a big deadzone.
Yeah me too but as vacuum pallets disappeared I aeen the abuse some killers got.
I wish there wasn't so much hate this forums would be a lot better.

I may have misunderstood but what do you mean by "giving killers the bugs they need to compete".
I'm happy with called for nerfs not uncalled nerfs, hence why I hate most uncalled killer nerfs, especially billy, I don't care what people say "but I rarely overheat" yeah if you M1 as billy, I always use the chainsaw, I rarely use M1 as billy (small rant)
But yeah, the game is very balanced atm, I could suggest tweaks here and there to maps but I can't say anything about the current balance, I'm happy with it.
Edit: btw, I'm happy you were civil with this discussion.
Oh I meant buffs not bugs my mistake.
I am as well the billy basekit nerf was just unneeded. I used to spam rev not fully but to make the chainsaw sound and a bit at the start of a pallet to bait the commit. It's way more punishing now.
I also go chainsaw only billy because it's fun and I dont go to m1 everyone. Skill Billy's were definitely and still are the most fun killers to verse to bad they are mostly extinct.
Current balance wise it's great. If this game didnt turn out like it did my survivor game would of never improved as it did and not as rapidly. I used to get carried by vacuum pallets.
I appreciate you being civil as well.

I 100% agree with you, removing any more would be a mistake.
Currently I still have the same mentality as before, been playing this game for far too long, while there might be others that started earlier than me.
I believe the game currently it's as balanced as it should go, if we get more survivor nerfs that weren't called for, the game will probably suffer a lot.
That is also something that I wonder why, some maps are deadzones, azarov comes to mind, I got the whole middle area dead, no pallets at all just the one around the pump, 1 inside the gas station and the one by the gen.
Ik definitely happy the game is balanced as it is. I'm happy they are giving killers the bugs they need to compete. I'm not happy with the neglect to survivors.
While azarovs is not completely dead the pallet spacing, decrease in pallet amount has made the map mediocre and pretty killer sided. Azarovs resting place and gas heaven are what comes to my mind.
Those maps are so bad gas heaven having barely any filler spawns and zero jungle gyms on the outside. It just makes me think of 2017.
I get survivors can he op but people gotta realize if they continue to get nerfs which a lot of survivors put up with even the toxic ones the player base will take a hit.
-

The nerfs that you are talking about is what I mentioned earlier, unless there are other nerfs that I'm not aware.
Instaheals were busted against any m1 killer.
Toolbox needed nothing to do their job properly.
Infinites...... Yeah you had to leave them before especially with a 4.4 killer.
Sorry if I forgot other nerfs, again I really don't remember what else was nerfed if that was a thing.
Those are justified nerfs. But the point I'm makingnis they are just nerfing after nerfing after nerfing. They for one decreased the minimum pallet spawns for whatever reason that may be.
It just makes very little sense to keep nerfing survivors. Now we are at the point to where we are removing loops and adding unessecary unbreakable walls and a bandaid fix to infinites.

Right now sure they care more but it only took them about 3 years to balance stuff around and even then they still help survivors more but before you say "but toolboxes got nerfed, but DS now is bad, we don't have very fair instaheals and we don't have infinites anymore" anything like that, remember that it was needed.
I haven't played the updated maps, just the ptb version before they were live and even then, from the killer pov, scratchmarks were barely visible because of the high grass, and badham..... I still want to say that it's a decent map now but I hate the breakable doors, that is just my preference.
As far as I know we still have the audio bug and desync audio.
I 100% agree with you on the p2p topic, that would fix more stuff than dedicated servers.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1607162#Comment_1607162
Not proving anything, but it is what happened, Myers was bugged for a very long time and they never fix it, instead they told some players "go play another game" meanwhile when DS got bugged they instantly jumped out to fix it asap, they have their priorities since 4 players pay more than 1 player.
And yes it would be more expensive BUT it would help the life of the game more, it's like if I want to play nurse I have to hope I don't go to midwich because she is unplayable there.
Basically I just want to say that they have helped killers but they will help more survivors.
Ok so it was two years before the redemption ark. It was pathed 2.0 2018. Regardless of this fact you wre correct they took their sweet time before helping killers. While this is good they aren't giving survivors attention.
They fixed one bug for survivor quickly and now they care about survivors more despite the fact they have been getting nerfed for a good year +

As much as I hate to say it, the Devs really do jump whenever there's a survivor bug, mostly because that's where the significant majority of the playerbase lie. It's not an "us Vs them" thing, it's just a "we need to please the most people" thing.
I'm still waiting for sounds to work properly, basic attacks to not 180 you into a wall because half a pixel was in your attack cone, Nurse to work properly, phantom saws to go away, bubba to not collide with literally nothing, ranged attacks to have decent hitboxes, macro's to not borderline instabreak Slingers chain... There are so very, very many bugs that have not been addressed that really shouldn't take a whole lot of time.
Ok so they fixed one but quickly care to name a few more? Still waiting for vpners to be stopped yk.

Modifying the Hatchet spawn location is far, far, far easier to handle than Networking.
It's like if I asked you to subtract 5 from 10, VS. coming up with a specific answer to a vague question.
No the easiest fix would be going back to p2p where we could see the killers ping and dodge bad lobbies. They had hits down 2 years ago. The killer actually had to hit you, it was pretty great.

Huntress is latency and the change of the hatchet's hitboxes, most dedicated window hits happen because of how hitboxes work.
It really isn't a us vs them, just saying facts, they care more for 1 side than the other.
You got that backwards huntress has large hitboxes because the devs dont know how to make them work without breaking them. Windows are latency . If the killer has good connection and the survivor does too dedicated hits wont happen.
Yes you are right the devs care more about killers right now. Its evident with our two recently reqorked maps. Badham having an absurd amount of breakable walls, short loops lack of loops. Shacks size was also decreased. Then you have yamaoka having just deadzones.

Facts haven't lied, it's been over a year with nurse bugs and still no fix, DS didn't worked against doctor after the rework and got fixed in less than a week.
So it's not a us vs them it's just stating facts.
Facts haven't lied, it's been over a year with all these dedicated hits through windows and no fix, huntress couldn't get hatchet hits up close and got fixed in less than three days.
So it is an us vs them.

Probably a bug that will be fixed within a week considering it's for the survivor side.
It should be fixed within a week. This bug is actually gross you have no time to make distance. Also stop making it an us vs them conversation.
