Considering there is no "built in lightborn" i'm guessing you mean you not being able to aim a flashlight? I agree that they need to pick an aiming method and stick with it, but you're being pretty disingenuous. Especially considering actual free perks are granted by actual "bugs" in things like survivors losing all sound while not even having iron will.
Built in lightborn in a sense you can look down but see what's above you perfectly. You could essentially play the map while never turning your head up. It's not a bug it's really stretched screen for killers. You clearly didnt know this nor where you gonna bring it up right?
https://m.twitch.tv/clip/KathishFragileHyenaCeilingCat
Also in the clips where its proved to be cheating that feng isnt aiming down. You can see over most those tiles on native as a console player I can confirm.

artificially stretching your resolution as a killer is just the same as a survivor.. of course it's cheating even if there are different benefits.
Also I want to point out th as t in the clips that feng min wasnt looking down. Any experienced survivor looks down to either see more over loops or see in a crack. Kinda ruins its validity but I dont think you noticed that did you?
I also appreciate that you can admit its cheating when killers use it like that.

I am not complaining about what you use - you can use and play however YOU want but then dont complain if others also play with what THEY want and HOW they want.
When did I complain others and what they use I'm complaing about the killer and how they are designed. I cant tell if that's a strawman but this was completely just irrelevant and not even what I was talking about.

I mean just google it. But since you're defending it I'm guessing you're just pretending
https://m.twitch.tv/clip/KathishFragileHyenaCeilingCat
So that is really stretched please check the of comment.
1600 x 1080 is the one I'm defending. Bet you didnt know this type of stretched is cheating for killers did you? ( not 1600 x 1080 if I'm unclear)

@ClickyClicky said:
Dead Hard - Removed the distance gained from using this perk
Sprint burst - Survivors who go into the game with this equipped will be wearing a diaper since its “babys first crutch perk”
NOED - If the killer has stayed in proximity of hooked survivors for more than 30 seconds ir hooked the same survivor 3 times in a row then NOED does not activate
Legion - “We discovered that players did not enjoy the Legion therefore we have removed him from the game”
Claudette - Now has a bright glow around her P3 cosmetics
Haha jokes on you I'm a shmockette got em.

Then why did they tried to pick you up? Also it seemed like they still wanted to play tho.
Also if you cant handle playing against certein things then stop playing.
But of course you complain about others while you self run Object and SWF with DS and so on.But then proceed to complain about spirit etc.
As it isnt already enough that you play with sretched res.
Sigh they told me they were bored and wanted to die. Also even if I want to die against a slinger I still attempt to try and get a chase.
Heres the thing even with these pretty boring killers. Not all of them are super amazing so I Im chilling right now. Another thing is the sc penalty is off so I have that on deck.
I run OoO solo am I supposed to take it off when I'm with friends? I havent ran DS is a long time but hey assume I guess? Another thing is when I run object I dont make callouts like location only callouts that are made is the killer and if they are coming but other than that I dont see why this is relevant.
I'm an xbox player I cant even use stretched res.

Go check my op I added some stuff. Also a video. Seeing the red stain when you shouldnt with the use of third part programs is cheating.

You just said it on your post that high walls are a "nerf" to stretched res users, but you don't think it gives you unfair advantage?
In a chase it doesnt give an advantage. It gives an advantage if you care about seeing more terrain.

If a wider FoV isn't an advantage, can we get it as an option slider for killers? without having to use a perk for it?
I won't mind. If it was for killers. They would have to fix the built in light born killers get with it. :)

LOL it DOES let you see more of the killer, you can see over walls you wouldn't normally and completely avoid mindgames. This says a lot about you, I'll remember this thread when I see your future posts. lol.
Can you provide me a clip where it shows you more of the killer then. Also could you specify which stretched we are referring to. What about ayruns 1811 x 1080 stretched dis that cheating too? It's way too close ot native.

@Adeloo said:

so you acknowledge that using stretched resolution give you an advantage or seeing more than the usual survivor ? With the best example being the square walls on macmillan estate : with streched you can see where the killer is going, without you cannot = huge advantage over the killer = cheating.
Yes I can acknowledge that but what exactly does that information so for you in a chase? It's not ggiving you super powers or making loops impossible to mindgame. Also specify the stretched something like 1600 x 1080 isnt cheating.

Yamaoka Family residence, Laurie, tier 1 OoO, and getting smacked by LF. You were slugged on the ground like 5 times and die at the end with an easy chainsaw. Is that you?
Yes that was me that bubba had bamboozle on yamaoka with no windows close enough to chain and to top that off filler pallets that are so short you can side step them. I'd really like to know how would last.
Bamboozles only counter is chaining windows but you cant chain windows when the tiles are too far.

Meanwhile he left his mates to die and complained that he got sluggen besides the fact he keepts pressing the run buttom so no one could pick him up when his mates tried it.
Im a he and I fail to see the relevancy of that spirit post. Also it was a month ago. I never complained about getting slugged. She did refuse to pick me up though. Also I was swf my teammates didnt want to play that game it was our 3rd spirit.

I don’t know what to say. You’re everything I stand against lol. I mean no offence but you’re the kind of survivor I would tunnel in game. I don’t mean a playful Trapper kind of tunneling, I mean an OG Freddy down to business kind of tunneling.
Claudette with OoO, stretched res and sprint burst shudders
I have nothing against you but for both our sanity let out paths never cross in game lol OoO is like a red flag to a bull for me, I can’t ignore it.
My friend clicky I hope we go against eachother now. I want to run you ad survivor and also see how good you really are. Og freddy tunneling should never be spoken about. Litterally my only gripe against him. That isnta tunnel.
Also I'm on xbox so I cant use stretch res. But object and sprint burst definetly! My sanity will be fine if i go against you I always have adrenaline and hope so as long as I make it to end game I survive.

Be honest, are you just here to bait the killer mains? Doing a little “clicky clicky” with your flashlight outside of the game?
I mean sure I'll defend it. It does give an advantage but it does not let you see more of the killer. The advantage is seeing more terrain. Also nice use of shmockette. I am indeed one of those.
Once again OoO is my favorite perk I'm gonna run it. Would you rather me run dead hard than sprint burst?
I appreciate the killer mains. They put up with those actually toxic survivors, the clowns who say fine things need to get nerfed. If my opinion is a clicky clicky sure get outplayed lol.

We have a lot of negative people around the forums, so my idea is to keep a patient environment to control that. Not to challenge them or be rid of them, just to not react in a similar angry manner and show them to be more friendly. You know, the golden rule of treat others the way you would like to be treated.
Thank you again for the kind compliment 🙂

@TWiXT said:
The core concept of the perk is to reward you for saving your teammate from being sacrificed, not finishing gens, and there are 4 ways to do this: safely rescue the survivor from the hook, blind the killer while they are carrying a survivor or pallet stun them, and body blocking the killer so they can't hook a carried survivor or down an injured one.
WGLF never rewarded you any tokens for Pallet stun and Flashlight saves, it only awarded tokens for safe unhooks and protection hits. Essentially they've given survivors 2 more ways to earn tokens so that if the survivors miss a chance to unhook a teammate or don't want to be the resident meat shield for their team, they have alternatives. On top of that, they've made healing a survivor in the dying state take a maximum of 8 seconds instead of 16 while you have WGLF equipped, and if the downed survivor even recovered half of the progress bar on their own before you get to them, it'll take even less time, which makes it great for anti-slugging.
Giving tokens for healing a survivor from the dying state is flawed, because at what point would you earn the token? Completely recovering a survivor for a total of 1 dying state? if that were so, then it would take healing a maximum of 20 downed teammates to earn a token, because the majority of the time you run in to heal a downed survivor, they've already recovered 95% of their progress bar. Likewise if it simply rewarded you a token for bringing them from the dying state to injured regardless of their progress, that would create competition wherein everyone runs to the recently downed survivor and swarms the killer, which as you know, is a really stupid tactic that typically ends up with more than one of you downed.
However, now we're going to have more survivors competing to get those sweet flashlight and pallet saves as well as unhooks and protection hits, but since there are 2 more ways to get tokens, gaining them will be easier and more likely overall. This is a good buff to WGLF, tokens are more easily earned than before, and it discourages killers from slugging, so while it will likely increase competition between survivors going after tokens, I don't see why this is such a disappointment.
You havent used a flashlight or saved someone with a pallet a day in your life huh?

Oh yikes I've been summoned-
In my honest opinion, no they're not. Situations should always be that survivors and killers have an equal chance to succeed or fail a play. It's why L-T walls are regarded as the most balanced tile, and why short, long loops are seen as bullshit. Pyramid Head forces a lose-lose unless you're playing for fun (which I do, 80% of the time) which isn't fair. It's all well and good saying that killers should be the power role but first and foremost it's a game, and games should be fun where everyone can win.
Thank you for your input karu it's always much appreciated. Especially from a pyramid head main himself.

Except the distance you get over a slinger via a well timed vault puts him much further behind then your average 115% ms killer. This distance can scale even greater if that vault is in a spot that the killer has to vault through to catch up. If you hold w traveling behind debris then slinger gets horribly wrecked. Not to mention if your pushing a gen across the map there is virtually nothing he can do to stop you until he gets in range which is assuming there isn't a wall or obstruction blocking his shot as your doing a gen. Slinger is easily the most overrated killer in DBD I remember nurses who had a higher skill level be played more often then this slowpoke. There's a reason no one plays this killer and it ain't skill level its because he feels awful to play and shock horror is actually a mid tier killer with a gaping weakness.
He is a ranged killer vaults are a guarenteed hit. What exactly is a "well timed" vault. A place where the killer has to vault is called an infinite. That is ynless it's a height but not every map has though. I'm also quiet sure any average slinger will wait for the animation lock to shoot a survivor.
Not every map has debris just scattered around. If it does it's probably bad rng because the single debris is pallet less. Gen rushing is general not chase counter. Chasing are the most fun thing in the game. You shouldnt have to get 5 gens in 2 minutes to beat a killer.
Hes quiet fun to play as. He's worse than nurse yet is so boring to verse. His shock horror is good enough he doesnt even need to do anything to zone just be there. What does that tell you?

you are just saying that because you don't have the game-sense to avoid a "lose lose" situation, his ability is actually quite easy to avoid if you think for one second and read his movements and playstyle, knowing how to play him yourself also helps, but being truly good at the game and perceptive is key, which I bet you aren't, probably just a survivor who teabags after throwing a pallet down then clicks the flashlight, three seconds later getting downed and dc'ing.
If you truly think I'm bad I upload on youtube. His lose/lose are at windows and pallets those are your only defenses there is no "avoiding" that. I also am uploading a chase montage and I'm including 2 PH chases.

Braindead killer, yes big talk coming from somebody who plays swf with OoO, much skill required in the super easy mode.
- ph has a cd when he misses his attack, how big is the cooldown after huntress canceling the hatchet? 20s? no? oh
- no that is not how you get hit, you get hit because you let him come into range and drop because you got greedy, predrop means before he can hit you with the attack
- a lie, you gain distance when you dodge since he has a cd after missing potd
- honestly watch botb, take notes what survivors do against him and stop to cry
- so funny, the killer you claim forcing only lose/lose on a survivor often has to leave survivors because he can not finish the chase. i know noob killer right? oh wait no, 5k hrs and other similar amounts, ######### magic
I run OoO in solo as well. Am I supposed to take It off because I'm playing with friends? Also I use it for my benefit. I hardly give any callouts except for who the killer is. I have to once again debunk all of what you say.
1. We arent talking about missed attack cooldowns we are talking about cancelling from putting the sword in the ground which has none. Maybe learn to read?
2. It is how you get hit because hes still gaining on you even with his sword in the ground and range add ons exist. You need a good distance to prethrow. Even then because hes still really fast you are now in a situation where if you run through the pallet you are hit by the range or dodge and get insta canceled.
3. Once again buddy he has to actually miss we arent even talking about missing its canceling from putting the sword in the ground.
4. I'm pretty sure that's a strawman who brought botb up? Also why cant you show it are you not good enough?
5. His lose/lose is what makes him end chases fast he does not need to leave chases often.
Seriously dude you need to look at things objectively.

You have a point. But it's a 60 second cool down perk that you can only use when injured I think that dead hard in general is balanced because of this
I suggest that exhaustion perks in general should have longer cool down if you insist on nerfing them (90 seconds??)
That would neuter exhaustion perks.

I'd say the first time you predrop against him you have a pretty good chance, but consecutive times are less likely to work since he's expecting it, Even though he still needs a pretty good read to go into POTD before he starts looping. If he does that then it's lose/lose.
That's fair like you said consecutive pre drops womy get you any where.

@Snitz said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1650429#Comment_1650429
I agree with your first point, however you're skipping things on your other two.
You're only getting hit when predropping if PH is already on POTD and at a range of 8 meters with no add-ons, if you get hit when predropping its honestly your fault / you got read.
There's no reason to dodge in the open, his attack can be dodged on reaction.
That's assuming he has no range add ons meaning you have to guess. It still has a strong psychological effect correct?

This just not true, only if you let it go to a certain point. Do you complain about huntress as well? She can chuck a hatchet in your back while you vault, after you dropped the pallet and while you vault it. Dropping pallet early helps alot, do not give me the "wasted" pallet excuse which isn't one, you drop pallets early against clown too. At the end of the day he is a 115% dude with no mobility and crumbles when everybody does the objective.
What is zoning in the open? Sounds like you complain about getting hit in a deadzone.
Cant believe I actually have to argue with someone comparing a braindead killer to a skilled killer here we go.
1. Huntress actually has a cooldown if she winds down. If she cancels she cant m1 immediately. Everyone knows huntress pallet rev. So the smart thing to so against them is to greed.
2. Predropping against pyramid head is how you get hit by the range hence the lose/lose. Drop if you want to eat the range dont if you want to wat the m1.
3. Zoning in the open as forcing you to dodge and lose distance. Granted yes you would get hit either way but it doesnt make it any less cheap. Its still a guess.

Saying EVERYTHING is a lose lose against him is just overexaggerating.
I mean the majority about him is lose/lose/tunnel. Hes just a poorly designed killer. His 50/50s arent even 50/50 since he isnt guessing only you are. Also the guesses arent no where near fair and all in his favor. He just sits and reacts.

Exactly. IMHO: if you want to run a perk that makes my life hell second hooking you quickly after first hooking, I'm cool with that. What I hate is the fact between BT and DS, you can literally *body block* me from going after your unhooker. Sorry, this is not the spirit of an Anti-Tunnel perk. I'm doing what you want when you run Anti-Tunnel perks: I'm respecting and going after someone else, but if you start trying to body block me, this isn't fun. Your perks are overperforming and going well beyond their mandate.
