Every killer needs a nerf. Survivors will be even more unfun and unwinnable
Lol no, killers won't need a nerf. Nurse and blight will, but probably not the others. Survivors just need much more against camping and tunneling, and some of the meta perk nerfs will also need to be reverted.
-
@ShinobuSK said:
Dont worry, if you cry enough they will revert some changes after PTB
They don't need to revert changes. Maybe some perk changes, but no baseline changes. They just need to give survivors some actual, proper buffs against camping and tunneling.
-
The killer buffs are great. Killers definitely need a bit more time for their objectives, and to be fair, the best slowdown perks are all getting nerfed. I just think that the Overcharge and Eruption buff are a bit too much, they will probably just become the new meta slowdown perks, which is not good.
Some of the meta perks are also being overnerfed, that's just not with the survivors side though. And survivors are getting a few very strong perk buffs as well.
The big problem is the lack of proper tunneling and camping nerfs. Camping is even getting buffed. If survivors don't get much more when the patch releases to the live servers, then I can't blame any survivor player for leaving the game until survivors actually get some proper buffs against camping and tunneling. I definitely also expect killer queue times to go up a lot if this patch releases exactly as shown in the dev update.
-
I am happy they are nerfing meta perks, but some perks are just being way overnerfed. All Self care should have gotten is to have it's item efficiency removed, the healing speed of 50% is perfectly fine.
The baseline endurance and haste status effects are also way too weak, and camping isn't even being nerfed at all, it's being buffed. Which is just very bad considering all the nice buffs killers are getting.
In general I am really liking this patch, they have put a lot of effort into clearly, but there are certain aspects that are just lacking a lot, mainly the anti-tunneling and anti-camping measures for survivors.
-
Yes this one of those nerfs that can no way make into live servers. It would be just another reason for survivor players to quit DBD, alongside the already lacking anti-tunneling and anti-camping measures presented in the dev update.
-
No I think Nemesis is fine, especially with the upcoming basekit buffs to killers. His chase is already very strong, the sprint burst is absolutely needed.

You think adding *thirty seconds*, half a minute, on top of giving survivors free in-your-face unhooks on top of buffing the endurance effect that survivors are getting base is balanced?
You've lost your mind. You want people to play killer, right? You've gotta have people playing the other side to have a game.
Nope I haven't, it would be balanced. Camping is already being buffed with the increased gen times, so the hook phase duration increase needs to be big so it actually is turned into a camping nerf, which is absolutely needed. Removing hook grabs also doesn't make survivors safe while unhooking, if the killer pays attention, they will still be forced to trade.
The buffed endurance and haste effect would simply help against tunneling, properly, which is another must. As a killer you should be discouraged to play in such unfun and skillless ways, now that killers normal and fair gameplay is also getting tons of buffs.
I want people to play both sides. And I am pretty sure quite a few people will stop playing survivor, especially solo queue, if this patch goes live exactly like it's described in the dev update. I know I probably won't play survivor anymore. Camping buffed, barely any buff against tunneling, and DS even nerfed unnecessarily? No thanks. I am quite postitive that if survivors don't get much more to help against tunneling and camping, killers will have to suffer through long queue times.

I think you're not accounting for how much weaker all the killer gen regression perks are now as well. Also, 2.5% on base kick is only 2 seconds..essentially having you come out even with the literally time used to kick it..but also not account for walk time and losing pressure. In other words, way less impactful than I think you feel it is.
These buffs overall are also much more impactful on lower tier m1 killers than the high tier ones.
Honestly with the perk nerfs and base changes I see this as nearly a net neutral on gen speeds.
So essentially just a free smaller BT base kit for survivor and some scary perk buffs. I see this as more of a net win for survivors in other words even though I do think they need more as well as killer.
No I think the extra 10 seconds on gens is definitely going to be more impactful than the nerfs of some of the gen regression perks. Not to mention other gen regression perks being buffed, but I do believe they will have to nerf Overcharge and Eruption a bit before they make it to live server.
When I think of Pain Resonance or Corrupt Intervention however, the nerfs they got are definitely not on a level as the 10 seconds extra gen time and the 2,5% instant regression. Not to mention the other buffs that killers got, although I hope they revert the bloodlust buff.
Killers can also already be pretty strong with four gen defense perks stacked together.
No, survivors should definitely get more than just 5 seconds of endurance and haste. It should be at least 10 seconds.
And when it comes to camping, well honestly I don't think that's even debatable. They will absolutely have to increase the hook phase duration, or camping will actually get buffed, which would be very bad. I am postitive quite a few survivors would just quit in that case, and rightfully so.
That's why I want each hook phase duration to be increased from 60 to 90 seconds, so camping isn't on the same level it is now, but actually nefed. This is an absolute must with killers getting buffed generally. And the hook grab bullcrap also needs to go, once and for all, it's an incredibly outdated mechanic.
-
I agree with everything except 1 and 8. I think the movement speed increase is ok, because it's only during the endgame, and those perks do nothing outside of the endgame, so I personally don't think it would be too bad. But who knows.
I also don't think Off the Record will be such a problem. Unless it's endurance status effect stacks with others like the baseline endurance status effect. Then it would definitely need a duration reduction. The one nerf I could see it maybe needing is have it also deactivate when you get fully healed.
-
The perk changes aren't a problem. Dead Hard really needed a nerf, and it looks like it's one of the two meta perks that are still going to be good after the nerf.
The killer buffs are also great. Killer is not easier, good, coordinated survivors can go through gens really fast. The problem is that survivors aren't getting enough compensation against camping and tunneling, especially since camping is even getting buffed indirectly because of the gen time increase.
-
@Blueberry said:
I'm all for more heavy handed base kit anti-tunnel changes.
However, the changes they made to the killer side are not even remotely close to enough to compensate for something like that to where no tunneling or camping is necessary.
Increase the base kit killer changes significantly and significantly improve the anti-tunnel camp base kit changes.
All these changes will surely add up. They are definitely enough to warrant proper camping nerfs and a 12 second endurance and haste status effect after being unhooked.
The increase in gen times by 10 seconds will definitely be impactful. Not only will it add a total of 50 seconds to gen repair, but it will also give killers much better chances of interrupting survivors before they finish a gen. So those 10 seconds per generator could add even more slowdown then just 50 extra seconds if the killer manages to apply proper pressure.
Regression is also buffed, and then we have a lot of nice little buffs to killers chase ability as well. The tunneling and camping nerfs presented are not even nearly enough to compensate survivors appropriately.
-
Great job. Except nothing is set in stone yet. They still have time to buff the endurance and haste status effect after being unhooked, and add some proper camping nerfs as well. And increasing the hook phase duration from 60 to 90 seconds, as well as removing hook grabs, shouldn't really be a hard task.
The problem with some of these meta perk nerfs is that they nerfed the perks simply because they were the most used. However, when it comes to the perk changes, this update is not killer sided or anything. There are questionable nerfs on both sides, and both sides are getting some really good perk buffs as well. Off the Record sounds nuts, and Lightweight for example is also looking real good.
Overcharge and Botany Knowledge are the two perks I fear are overbuffed.
It's only the baseline changes where survivors are getting the short end of the stick. The killer buffs are all great, except for the bloodlust buff, but survivors aren't getting enough as compensation, and I hope that changes before the update goes live, or at least shortly after that. Otherwise I fear killer queue times will be rough.
-
I do agree with a fair amount of this, but I do not think that perks like BT need to be deactivated during the end game. Killers have a fair chance of getting a 4k, survivors should have a chance for a 4 man escape. I dislike that DS deactivates during end game now as well.
I still am hoping that they increase the baseline endurance and haste status effect after getting unhooked from 5 to at least 10, preferably 12 seconds, if they do that, DS deactivating in the end game wouldn't be that bad anymore. The DS stun duration nerf is terrible though, absolutely terrible.
-
@Munqaxus said:
Buffed Thanatophobia on Legion, Plague, Blight, Wraith and Nurse will be insta-wins now. What a stupid perk to buff.
Botany Knowledge was buffed so that when paired with nerfed Self-Care, it gives the same bonus healing. The problem is it makes Botany Knowledge required if you run Self Care. So solo-queue now has to run 2 perks instead of just one.
This whole patch is screwing over solo-queue. Good job Devs, glad I switched over to Killer.
I don't like the change either, but I don't think those extra 2% will make the big difference of giving those killers an insta win either.
-
@Blueberry said:
So let's buff Thana more so other killer will like it more as well.
I agree on Botany.
But then it comes too good on the killers that already profit from the perk a lot.
-
I agree with pretty much everything on here, with maybe just a few exceptions.
The basekit anti-tunneling and camping measures are insanely underwhelming. The duration needs to be 12 seconds instead of 5, or at the very least 10 seconds. That will at least nerf tunneling decently. But then we also need actual camping nerfs, right now it's even getting buffed because of higher gen speeds. The hook phase of survivors needs to be increased from 60 to 90 seconds, at the very least. And hook grabs need to be removed.
With those changes, cmaping and tunneling are actually properly nerfed, and survivors won't be forced to run anti-camping and tunneling perks.
Beyond that, I also particularly agree that some meta perks are overnerfed. The DS nerf in particular is beyond terrible, 3 seconds is way too little, and I don't see any reason it should deactivate during endgame, however that I don't think is as bad, if the baseline endurance and haste status effect is increased to 12 seconds.
-
It's an oversight hopefully, if the update goes to live the way it is described in the dev update, this game will be in serious trouble. Even the anti-tunneling buffs that survivors got are pretty laughable, 5 seconds is almost nothing, it needs to be at least 12 seconds.

They don't need to do both though. They just need to encourage not doing it more. Which they did. I'm sorry, but I don't feel like there should be a situation where it's just lose/lose situation for the killer. When unhooking in the killers face is SUPPOSED to be dangerous and unsafe. If you remove hook grabs. There's literally no point in even camping in end game. Because all it turns in to is person #1 forces the hit and takes off. Person #2 gets the unhook for free and easy. All survivors go free, easily. At that point you might as well kick the person playing killer in the balls and make survivors escape automatically as soon as gens are powered.
Enjoy those 20 minute killer queue times, if this update makes it live just the way it is. At least I am positive that will be the result of these changes.
Any good dev should be interested in good game design, and camping is the opposite of that. Right now, it's already way too effective for the insanely low amount of skill it requqires. It doesn't need to be buffed, it doesn't need to stay, it needs to be nerfed. Name me one other game that has such a cheap, and skillless tactic, be so effective.
I can not believe there are people that actually think killers should have their frustrations fixed, but survivors not. How biased can one become? I have a hard time believing you play survivor, honestly.
-
It's good they are nerfing the meta perks. They just do too much for one single perk. The problem I have is that some of them are being nerfed way too much, and a few, like Self Care and DS, really didn't need a nerf to begin with.
BUt it's definitely nice to have the meta finally be shaken up. I just don't see a reason why they would make current meta perks almost useless, like Iron Will, Self Care, Ruin or Spine Chill.
-
The buff to Botany might be a bit much, but the changes to Saboteur and Corrupt Intervention are completely fine. If you get a down during Corrupt Intervention, chances are, the perk already did good work for you. The nerf is good.
Saboteur letting survivors see Scourge Hooks is also just a nice change, it's certainly not an overpowered perk, not even close.
-
Basekit BT changes are actually just 5 seconds, but at least survivors also get a haste status effect.
It's just not enough, not even close. The endurance and haste effect needs to last 12 seconds, BT works like that now, and pretty much no one complains about the perk. Even with the extra haste status effect added, 12 seconds would still be surely fine. The devs just seem to not qquite get how much of a nerf tunneling and camping need, to make this game more enjoyable for survivors as well. I understand that 5 seconds endurance and haste can make a difference, but just not nearly frequently enough.
Camping is even getting buffed indirectly. Which is also absolutely awful. The increased gen times really should probably only go live once camping is also being addressed properly, by increasing hook phase duration and removing hook grabs.

"I need to camp to win" has always been a false choice. "If gens didn't go so quickly I could choose not to play in this specific way" doesn't actually have any discouragement for playing that way and now that strategy is more effective. The same people who said the above will still say the same thing and ask for more nerfs to survivors rather than acknowledge that maybe they should just play better.
Because apparently playing killer shouldn't require actual skill and this is a power fantasy rather than a casual PvP online game.
Yeah some people definitely do seem to think that way.
I do agree that there can be situations where you can't really win unless you camp and tunnel. At high ranks, survivors can definitely still have the upper hand, at least if you don't camp and tunnel. But it's also not as bad as some people here claim.
But these issues are being addressed now, so there is no reason why camping and tunneling shouldn't be addressed adequately as well. It's ridiculous that some people seem to expect to have their issues with killer addressed, by making the proper gameplay much more viable, but then not have their easy way out, which takes almost 0 skill, not be nerfed as well, despite it being insanely unfun for survivors. It's an obvious double standard.
So I really hope, and am optimistic, that the devs will listen to all the complaints, buff the anti-tunneling measures to 12 second duration, and also add some proper anti-camping measures, which again, would probably just need to be increasing the hook phase duration to 90 seconds and removing hook grabs.
Suddenly, Dead by Daylight is in such a better, and more healthy, spot, for both sides. And player count will rise up, also for both sides.

Yea of course. If there's something to be abused. People will find it and do it. I'm also wary of some of the changes. But that is my initial guess. They WANT camping to still be dangerous, but don't want people to do it often. The chase changes, gen speeds, and lack of change to camping screams it. So again..I'm guessing if camping is still heavily going on. They'll do more about it.
I'm hopeful for the changes. There's definetly times i don't want to camp/tunnel. But with strong ASF maps. It just happens after 3 gens pop after a whole 3 hooks on some weaker/some more balanced killers. So hoping the changes help. And hoping it entices less and less people to do so
Lmao see that's the problem. There are way too many people that will still resort to camping as soon as the game is going badly for them, no matter if it's caused by unbalance or because they were just outplayed, because the can't admit to mistakes or will just tell themselves that the game is still unfair.
There is no way around it, you can't just give killers more reason to not camp and then hope the problem of camping and tunneling will go away. Especially when these buffs actually even encourage camping as well, which the increased gen times will do if the hook phase duration isn't increased. Killers camping hooks should not be as effective at doing so, and unhooking survivors in front of such killers should not be as dangerous or hard as it is now.
-
@BrokenSouI said:

Yes. What I'm expecting is for unhooking right in the killers face to be dangerous and punishable. Silly me. You're using the wrong word. They shouldn't be discouraging camping. They should be ENCOURAGING not camping and chasing. They did that with the initial announced buffs. Im sure they'll take more measures to discourage camping in the future. IF they find camping is still a rampant thing. But NOWHERE did they say they wanted to completely gut camping. Disallowing hook grabs would absolutely do that.
No, they need to do both. And now that they are encouraging to not camp by buffing normal gameplay, they absolutely have to nerf camping, and hard. You really want a mechaninc that gives you good chances to win just by standing in front of a hooked survivor? I don't know any other online game that has such a skillless and unfun strategy be so effective.
Hook grabs removed and hook phase duration increased to 90 seconds would still not make unhooking in front of the killer none-dangerous. It just wouldn't be as effective as playing the killer normally, and skillfully. Which is exactly what this game needs.
Killers are getting their biggest frustrations addressed, survivors should get the same, and the tunneling nerfs that are happening aren't nearly enough, and don't nerf camping either. That's absolutely bad.
I also do not have any interest in sitting in 20 minute queue times as killer, and I am scared exactly that will happen as well.
-
The 5 second haste and endurance effect isn't long enough, it should be 12 seconds. And DS really didn't need any nerf at all.
-
I honestly just wish hex perks would remain for a bit after their hex totem is destroyed. Of course that should be dependent on the Hex Perk. Ruin should stay up for like another 45 seconds or so after it's destroyed, for example.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
They need to
A: extend the time of the hook states to a minimum of the same extension given to gen repair, more time would be better to deter camping.
B: adjust hook grabs so that the unhook is still successful, even when grabbed, creating a hook trade instead, which allows for more strategy for both sides. Survivors would have to choose who goes for the hook, who can hold on the longest, and killers would have to decide if they camp their new victim or pursue their old one.
This 100%. And it needs to be more, so that camping is actually nerfed in comparison to it's current effectivity.

That would be very bad. Unless maybe it's like in the first hotfix one week later.
But I also find it very hard to believe that they wouldn't be able to at least increase the hook phase duration from 60 to 90 seconds. That really can't take long to do, or?
Otherwise, and I don't like saying this, as I do look forward to less stressful killer matches, but in that case, they maybe need to postpone the gen time changes, so they can be released together with the hook phase duration increase.
-
This is an absolute must. The killer will still be able to probably down the unhooking survivor, but at least the unhook can't be prevented any more. They might even need to increase the unhooking speed slightly now that the hit recovery time of killers is also slightly lower.
Which is also kind of a buff to camping, now that I think about it.
To be fair, they also 100% need to increase the hook phase duration of survivors as well, ideally from 60 to 90 seconds. That's the way you nerf camping properly.
-
@BrokenSouI said:
No. Grab game has to stay. It should never be a free easy unhook. I had this conversation with someone else in another thread. Bait out the hit by being unpredictable. Or mess up and get grabbed.
Killers who excel at camping need slight changes though
Are you really expecting the killers to get so many good buffs, so that fair play becomes much more viable, but then keep their hook defense strengths as is? Camping needs to be discouraged a lot, and removing the ability to grab an unhooking survivor is a must. The hook phase duration also needs to be increased from 60 to 90 seconds. There is no reason for killers to get easy, skillless wins by camping now that their normal gameplay is buffed noticeably.
-
@Ayamir said:
yes camping is gonna be even more stronger and effective if your teammate goes down at 5 gens and against a face camping Bubba with Deadlock you can call gg and go next you won't have time to do all 5 gens with 1 person sitting on the hooks PLUS with Deadlock.
Poor SoloQ enjoyers...
There's just no way this will make it into live servers like that. The devs will surely realise they have to nerf tunneling and camping properly, now that the fair killer strategies are finally buffed.
-
DBD does not favor killer. And yeah, the changes to gens will most likely happen.
The problem is that camping and tunneling aren't getting nerfed into the ground as well. These killer buffs are good, except the bloodlust nerf, and maybe the pallet break buff, because they make fair and skillful play more viable, encouraging killers to play better. But that also means the devs are given optimal opportunity to finally nerf camping and tunneling properly, so those become unviable strategies. But these changes are not even nearly enough.
I do think that gen times buffing camping is probably an oversight, and something they didn't think off. They need to increase the duration of each hook phase from 60 to 90 seconds, that would add an entire extra minute to the time survivors can last on a hook. And they need to remove the ability to grab survivors that are unhooking another survivor, it's such an outdated and unnecessary mechanic that aids camping as well.
-
@fogdonkey said:
I agree, 5 seconds of built-in BT is not enough. And since probably less people will bring borrowed time, together with the increased gen repair times, this is a buff to camping.
Hook timers should be increased, or some better mechanic should be invented.
100%. Yes, the devs need to realise this. I think they will just increase the hook timers, since that is the easiest and fastest solution. And it is absolutely needed. Camping needs to be nerfed, not buffed.
-
@Aven_Fallen said:
100% agreed.
I am especially pissed off by the Bloodlust-Buff, this mechanic needs to be nerfed and not buffed.
And if they buff basic Killer gameplay, they need to nerf Camping and Tunneling. But they just buffed it. And this is beyond stupid.
Well tunneling hasn't really been buffed, but I do agree in general. I guess maybe it has been buffed a bit because of that incredibly stupid nerf to DS.
There is no way this can go through. There is no reason to buff killers so fair play becomes properly viable, which many people have wanted, but then not address the biggest frustrations survivors have properly, or just so cautiously. They went real aggressive with those killers buffs, which I generally kind of like. But with the survivor buffs they seem to have been so cautious, with two very mediocre buffs for anti-tunneling, and then camping even getting buffed as well.
The hook timer needs to be increased to 90 seconds, so that camping is actually less effective than it is now, depsite more gen times. Making it more effective is just so bad.
They said that kill rates have dropped more than they want them, so the buffs killers are getting, I think are fine, with the exception of bloodlust. It being buffed just doesn't make any sense to me at all. The devs should know how disliked that mechanic is, as a bad way to bandaid fix certain maps. It just gives you free movement speed bonus for not really doing well. They should increase the time it takes to get bloodulst instead.
I fear killer queue times would sky rocket if the all the changes made it into the game just as shown in the dev update.

well seeing how their design philosophy for new maps involves copious amounts of god windows and god pallets I guess they do want to encourage blood lust gaming
I still don't think the new map, or the Haddonfield map rework, are bad. A few strong windows are no reason to even buff bloodlust.
-
@Science_Guy said:
Completely agree, especially on bloodlust (thought there was strong agreement that the mechanic was extremely outdated?) and hook timers. It's absolutely stunning that they're going to increase gen speeds without doing anything to weaken camping in return.
Yes exactly. It has to be an oversight though. I am sure they will change it if enough people make them aware of this. Buffing camping is not the way. And if they increase the timer to like 70, maybe even 75 seconds, camping will just be as strong as it is now. So it probably really needs to be increased to 90 seconds, so camping is actually nerfed in a noticeable way. There is no reason to make fair killer play viable, and then not nerf the completely terrible strategies that camping and tunneling are.
This game doesn't need an easy way out for killer.
-
Even without deadlock it got buffed. Which is so terrible. There is no reason to make fair play viable but then not nerf camping and tunneling into the ground, so killers don't have the option to win with little to no skill.
-
Yup, big, big oversight.
They need to increase the hook phase duration of survivors on hooks from 60 seconds to 80, or hopefully even 90 seconds. That way camping is actually nerfed, as the killer has to wait 3 minutes instead of 2 to kill a survivor with camping.
There is just no way they can increase gen times without increasing the time that survivors can stay on a hook. And keeping camping at the same power level as it is now is also not a good option, because killers are already getting loads of buffs. It needs to be nerfed, so they need to increase the hook phase duration by a lot.
And also remove the ability for killers to grab a survivor during the unhook animation.

We've tested a whole bunch of durations for them leading up to this, and often times they felt too long to be in the base kit. 5 seconds may not sound like much, but it can be a game changer. As long as you can reach a pallet in that time, it accomplishes the same thing. Alternatively, another Survivor can use this time to get in position and take a hit for you.
Even with all these killer buffs? I just can't imagine something like 12 seconds to be too long. Ideally you want to discourage killers from camping hooks and tunneling as much as possible, now that you are making fair play on the killers side much more viable.
Also, increasing gen times indirectly buffs camping, making the "just do gens" strategy even weaker. The hook timer of survivors needs to be increased drastically so that camping actually gets nerfed, and not buffed.
-

Well none of these changes are permanent, so I'm sure they'll revisit these anti tunneling and camping mechanics. Don't think I agree with the hook phase timer, but I do hope they'll look at DS again and make some sort of a version basekit because I do agree that the anti camping and tunneling mechanics won't do much in most situations.
The increased hook phase duration is an absolute must. People already argue to "just do gens" when a killer camps, which is already not very viable if the killer runs Deadlock and NOED: With gen times being increased, camping gets buffed. That is beyond bad. It shouldn't get buffed, it shouldn't be kept the same, it needs to be nerfed. And nerfed into the ground.
Not to mention, they also finally need to remove the ability to grap survivors when they unhook a survivor, at low ranks camping is already way too problematic.

Because kill rates have fallen so low that they are a bit nervous to give buffs to survivors, people have been complaining about how op killers were, but honestly, this shows just how wrong they are. When kill rates rise again, there will surely be increases on those parts, but at the moment just be grateful that borrowed time is base kit it's not a bad thing no more getting farmed off the hook which I'm quite happy about lol.
Last time they showed kill rates, they were all at about 50%. Maybe they went down a bit? But with all these buffs to killers, there needs to be more for survivors than just a laughable 5 second endurance and haste status effect.

It makes no sense at all, seeing all the other buffs killers are getting.
-
It's not nearly enough. Immediately the first thing I've noticed. The Endurance Status effect and Haste status effect duration needs to be 12 second at least, I would even say 20 seconds. And the hook phase timer absolutely needs to be increased to 80 or 90 seconds, now that gen time is being increased.
I don't get why they would be so careful with survivor buffs when they are buffing almost everything of killer.
-
Most killers still have very fair counterplay even without Dead Hard, but I agree with Nurse becoming even more problematic with Dead Hard nerfed. Or just in general with the perk update, if we do actually get some slowdown built into the baseline game.

A few other people have also voiced this problem. Perhaps because of their monitor or sight issues.
I hope the devs improve this so everyone can see decently within the intended visibility range of Nightfall. It wouldn't even really be a nerf because the intented visbility range wouldn't have to be touched.

Eh.. Dredge is quite meh once you know how he works. At the end of the day he is just an M1 killer. Not as bad as Sadako, but still, just way to much counterplay.
This isn't even from the killers perspective, this is from the survivor perspective because that's all i have played the last two days thanks to the queue times.
Well I can't agree with that, his chase potential is not weak in my opinion. It's not particularly strong, as it has definitely more counterplay than a lot of other killers chase ability, but it's still useful. And that is coming more from a killer perspective, because I don't seem to be lucky when it comes to getting matched with a Dredge.

I like all of his appearances, but yeah, his Masquearde skin is definitely awesome. I also first thought it would be just a mask that the dredge is wearing, but it actually seems to be his head. it's an incredibly well made skin, and the fact that's it's free for anyone to get is impressive.

Don't forget "boring" and "unfun"
Crazy to imagine that people would want a game to be fun.
