Other than hug tech I don't think there's anymore exploits for blight regarding flicking.
If this was true then console and pc would be the same. Console blight is the intended design while pc blight still benefits from the speed of a mouse and other things.
You clearly have your opinion and biases but you can't deny that it is really bs that you can be on the other side of a log and the blight can just run up one side, 180 and hit you without having to bump. I had this happen on lerys. I ran through a doorway and the blight ran up the coridoor and 180'd through the door without bumping and hit me on the other side.
-
Because low tier survivors would complain. Eyes are to difficult to use and coms are only for making weird noises so they need to hand hold and give survivors every little bit of information as to not interrupt their twitch chat while they afk gens like a bot.
-
They exploit poor coding that the dev's can't be bothered to fix after attempting twice so they just said it's fine... Well the guy that made him and no longer works there did anyway.
-
Oh yes! everything is totally fine and dandy. The game is so fine that the drop in players is just a phase and they are talking about introducing incentives to play the side with a low player count just for fun and not because there is an issue.
I hope they don't snap out of it and change because what they are doing is clearly working out splendidly.

Pinhead died off super fast and survivors mains relentlessly cried about him. So imagine a killer that even survivor mains aren't crying about.
Either way, I am not looking forward to the queues.
Well.. they did nerf pinhead so that's why.
-
All for it. New chapters are just depressing now days anyway. No map, and when there is a map it is disgustingly survivor sided and poorly designed. New perks are either broken or don't see any playtime because they suck.
People that just want the new shiny can go ahead and leave. They will come back when the game is fixed and new content starts to get released again (the only reason they play anyway) and the developers will have a healthier base to build on.
-
It isn't a game health patch so no.. Just more problems and imbalances. Oh and more excuses for cheaters to run faster Because "mah boon"
-
The problem is they are lumping all survivors into that 50% win rate as a whole. They are essentially forcing killers to lose no matter how skilled they are at the upper tiers so people that struggle to hold m1 on a gen can win 50% of the time.
Then again.. kills = skill so basement bubba away with noed and end game perks.
-
We know he was, But that's how they do things to shut survivors up and not spend any more resources gutting a killer for mid to low tier survivors.
-
This is why i don't understand content creators raging at survivors for "causing the 3 gen" It's obvious the killer was playing for the 3 gen from the start but because the random got fed up and completed the free uncontested gen, the streamer blames it all on them for the situation.
-
After playing bubba for the pallet break challenges, All i can say is they toned down validation for M1 hits because it hurt already weak killers to much but kept it for powers.
I got 12 validated chainsaw hits in one game. Blood all over my screen and even some odd delays between getting the hit and then getting stunned and having it taken away from me.
I changed killers for another challenge and was downing survivors through pallets with M1 hits while also being stunned.
-
Survivors already have every aura perk basekit, they don't need free bt.

I think trickster is in a good place rn
Agreed. he has issues with big maps though.. If you lose to a trickster on mothers dwelling you did something horribly wrong.
-
They didn't want boons to have any risk what so ever
-
If a killer dodges them then mmr is thrown out the window in favour of time. This means they shove them with the next available killer, and that was you. (they admitted this on stream)
This is probably why they refuse to show mmr to avoid complaints about mmr not working with proof instead of speculation.
-
We know it's a problem. The dev's know it's a problem. It costs money to fix this problem, so it will never be fixed. They won't even shell out for the higher tier EAC and are just sitting on the base package they bought when the game came out.
The only thing it does is record chat logs.

I'm really curious to see if things are going to be different after the stretched res fix.
It won't change the outcome of games much because survivors objective is so simple and quick. But you will get a couple more hooks before the doors open.
-
Even survivors who were not heavily biased complained about MoM

No doubt it should've been changed long ago. But there are going to be a lot of shocked pikachu faces when the patch drops and killers still can't mindgame completely safe tiles. Then we'll see the 100 "stretched still exists" or "filters need to go" posts. The last thing those players will do is accept that they need to improve.
Well yeah, filters do need to go since you can make the killer light as bright as the sun and larger because it makes the really faded area bright. This will never happen though since bhvr signed a deal with nvidia to let it work. If anything it would be more impactful than stretched in denting some ego's if it was removed.
-
They got sick of the spot the claudette minigames.
-
Nah, you and/ or your swf should watch the death animation every time :) It solidifies the loss and humbles you.
-
@sizzlingmario4 said:
At this point just remove COH from the game and admit it was a mistake. BHVR seemed to have forgotten anything they'd learned from original self care when they added this perk.
The ego gets in the way. Nothing bhvr does is wrong and they are always right and justified in every action with zero bias.

Hiding MMR means a player can't judge their skill relative to others. Killers think that if they are losing, it must be because they are at high MMR, and if they're already at high MMR and losing, it must be a balance issue. I think the community would be far better off if they could see that they were maybe 60th or 70th percentile and still had a ton to work on. Everyone thinks they've hit the skill cap the second they drop 3 or 4 games in a row
But then we would see mmr shoving 40k hour swf's against 200 hour killers because it prioritizes time over quality if they get dodged.
-
I just go, Deadhard? and then they deadhard to the pallet. Survivors essentially have 3 health states at the moment.
-
@Brimp said:
Woooo stretched is gone... now its just gonna be FOV configs which is much more of an advantage.
Can't they detect this one though?
-
Either the team had breakout or they were cheating. Been watching some cheater vids and they use boil over to try be subtle about the cheat and activate the 33% even if you don't drop from a height.

In an asymmetric game, how is a near 50% win rate not ideal? See, why is it believed that killers should win/get 4k-3ks much more often than the survivor escapes. That's already a massive flag for bias about killers. Also, the same can be said about context of killers. I can't tell you how many killers I've made DC just because I won't let them down me or get frustrated with being constantly juked. I've also experienced several "boosting" killers who are doing a daily with a killer they don't want to play and throw the game and everyone escapes without even being hooked. Do these situations also not skew the stats, or again, anything that veers away from the killer status quo on these forums just don't matter? Funny how you gave an example that would inflate killer stats, but completely skip over the fact that the opposite happens.
They do. The problem is my scenario happens way more from my own experience. It is rare to get a game where the doors instantly open and survivors just leave if someone is on the hook. a killer leaving is 4 escapes but how often does this happen?. A survivor disconnecting will likely result in 4 kills with the latter being way more common (every pinhead game)

Where are the statistics that say that the game is favoring survivors aside from the comments on these forums?
It certainly isn't the kills and escape ratio. The statistic that includes disconnects and ignores context. Can't count how many games i have got aa 3 or 4k after all gens are done and the gates are open because survivors refuse to leave someone behind. The fact it is so close to 50% shows just how weak killers are tbh.
-
Wish they would.

@Yatol said:
they can't do that, they might eat a lawsuit
Then they need to actually invest in anticheat and hire someone that knows that they are doing..
-
We have a balance team? I assumed people in other departments changed a perk when they had some spare downtime.

Can confirm as well
I actually have a recording somewhere of me attempting to spectate a cheater and my game crashing. How their little client lets them do this is baffling
Thats what happens when you have zero server side checks. Makes me wonder if they can send malicious files to your pc through this game like you could with dark souls.

I still cannot put my head around this being even possible.
coconutrts has a video showing it.
-
Probably. They can force crash your game if you try to spectate them cheating as survivor so i can't see why they couldn't do this.
-
The only way to ever see a head pop.

tbh its not that hard to reach max mmr, I dont know where I got that information from and exactly but I hear and read often that it is around 1800 which isnt much.
mandy confirmed the "soft cap" was increased to 2000. It doesn't matter if you have 30000 mmr, you will be placed on the soft cap with everyone else to speed up matches. This is why you get games that end in 4 minutes and games where survivors don't look behind themselves.
-
You can't. People will tell you to equip X perk that does nothing for you in a normal game so that is not a solution. COH has made this strat more viable because it is so easy to heal. Throw on break out and enjoy the EZ escapes.
-
I do but i don't. Without mmr the game was able to hide the problems that the game has and people thought everything was fine because they would vs bad survivors 9/10 times.
All they really had to do was make pipping up the same difficulty from brown to red ranks. I physically could not drop below rank 9 unless i went afk with the old system. even with 0 kills or hooks. They made it easier to pip the lower your rank and it made the entire thing pointless
-
Why does it matter? If you ever reach tier 3 then you have already lost the game assuming the survivors are doing the gens.
-
Survivors play dirty all the time, they use coms to bypass entire killers and perks/ addons. While also making the game boring and stale.
-
Dev's like the blind spot under your nose.
-
She is boring. It isn't because she is "just another ranged killer" They are some of the most fun killers in the game. It is because she is so clunky and slow.
She requires two ranged hits to damage a survivor with a small window to do so before the survivor can reset her power.
She slows down when placing and using her ability
Her ability has a cool down that gets longer the more you use it and a wind up to place and shoot.
she is tall and noisy
All other ranged killers get some kind of instant reward for landing their shot but artist potentially gets nothing.
-
Eh.. still seems to slow and easy to remove condemned. They still kept the slow down while manifesting and the tv's still have an insane cooldown.

Which is absolutely stupid in such cases. Let's protect the hacker and his friend helping him from having his matches dodged. I understand people with the same name could be unrightfully targeted, but let's be honest: what are the chances for two other people with the exact same name in a swf to be in your match?
If this wasn't a rule then we would have dedicated threads with images of basement bubbas and who to avoid.
-
Op thinks grades = rank..
-
Don't go there.. save yourself the mistake i made once.
-
You need to do all the work to save bhvr from upgrading their EAC and spending money.
Record and upload the match along with filling out a form. Personally i will just DC because i am not going to record every match i play or set up something to record at a moments notice and burden myself with having to manage that when THEY can put the cash in and do it themselves.
they won't take photos because they can be edited.

A killers power is classified as an "exploit" now?
I am totally sure scooching up to an object and looking down to remove collision was heavily discussed during Blights development.

@EvilJoshy said:
Well IMO if BHVR were to listen to the community they should only listen to about 5% of the people on these forums. Most of the player basis doesn't care about actual balance. They just want to win. Every time they lose they don't even consider they got out played, they scream "OP PLZ NERF!".
Or they want a game that doesn't boil down to patrolling the hook and relying on altruism as OTZ showed

@JonahsTablet said:
It depends on the killer, if you're a Clown main (god bless you if you that's the case) then you're gonna go away thinking that this game is ridiculously survivor sided, if you're a Blight/Nurse main though, then you're gonna think this game is much more fair, it took me becoming semi-ok at Nurse to realize this.
So for you to think the game is fine you need to play a killer that just bypasses everything or one that exploits to bypass everything.
