I think it’s mostly fine as it is.
I just get annoyed when whomever I’ve unhooked follows me.
Idiot.
do they get an indicator that babysitter is in effect?
-
The user needs to get Altruism bp boost for sure, thats what I would change.
-
I never played Nurse, but a friend does and he claims she feels no different, still boringly OP to him
-
a fun balanced match, some hooks, some unhooks, I dont even care about a kill or escape as long as it was a fun non toxic match
-
mindbreaker is honestly insultingly bad, its just a cascade of bs.
I think its called mindbreaker because it breaks the mind how anyone could come up with it in this state.
Honestly.....
Screw it, let me explain:\
- I flatout tells survivors mindbreaker is in effect as soon as they are on a gen with an icon on the left side
- then it flatout tells them how long they are suffering the exhaustion by a circle on the right side of the screen.
- The exhaustion lasts at max 3 seconds after letting go of a gen so as soon as anyone hears the heartbeat they can let go and be ready to use whatever by the time the killer is on them.
- It only has any use in a niche situation where someone has to have an exhaustion perk to even be affected by it.
-
well clearly they do deserve it as they meet the criteria set by the devs for red ranks as survivor soooo yeah.
-
I just have a unique build of perks per survivor/killer (as far as that is possible)
-
yeah thats what I want, more incentives for survivors to bring the meta... great.
Idk each their own but idk why you even play this game if you tunnel, like what is the point if you just go for the easiest cheapest stuff?
Its like playing dark souls with god mode on... why even do it then?

Imagine being so desperate you say your smooth brain hot take is oBJectiVe lmfao you're obviously a dogmatic survivor main. If I ever play you're, you're going straight to Bubba's Basement to get hook camped.
getting upset about it does not change anything.
trying to put in me in a box so you think you can just ignore me does not change anything.
Stop thinking sides, stop taking all this so seriously with so much emotion, if you want to talk about what is obvious, its obvious you got tilted too many times playing this game and now you are just bitter.
For what its worth, I play both sides, completed the killer side of the tome just now with half of the survivor objectives still remaining.
again, this scenario is not about your or my opinion, its just facts, they dont say anything bad about you or me, its just how it is, so accept it.

It's not enough to compensate the smaller Terror Radius^^ Shadowborn cant let you survivors run to your face and hug you or give you alot of suprise hits especially on smaller maps. For some ppl the 8 Meters doesn't sound that much of a reduction but it makes actually huge differences.
Well, that is your opinion to have as is asking for shadowborn to get something extra.
Personally I feel the trade off is fine, I run both perks on different killers.
Personally I run Shadowborn on Leatherface, I like the extra FOV when chainsawing around, Monitor would not give me that as the FOV becomes small/normal again when in a chase.
-
@BenZ0 said:
I personally would love to use shadowborn but I feel like Monitor is way to good in comparison with Shadowborn. Always if I consider using Shadowborn I quesiton myself "Why I dont just use Monitor?" because the smaller Terror Radius is a really good benefit and a good trait for a abit smaller FOV compared to Shadowborn. Thats the reason why I made this post, I feel like shadowborn should give a benefit just like Monitor to make a interesting decision.
Well Shadowborn gives a wider FOV then Monitor and its consistent, thats the change that might make someone pick it instead.

that defeats the purpose of moris...its to elimnate someone from the equaltion quickly. Just like how you get get a certain amount of gens done the hatch spawns and you can use a key to escape...whats the point of mori on the last hook if they are dead on the last hook...why not just make it mori by default then. i think moris are fine...they dont show up on the bloodweb that often. Survivors have more than enough second chance perks...and I play Rank 3 survivor (been rank 1) and I am rank 1 killer.
Well maybe hte purpose needs to be changed then?
Not to mention it can be quicky to kill someone right infront of you on the floor then taking them to a hook and you save that hook for later so advantages are still there.
What is the point of a mori on the last hook? well its just a choice, if you like mori's you do a mori, I know I would, great way to end the match.

Killer had zero power to hold the game hostage, survivors held themselves hostage to spite the killer. I don't know if you're legit slow or something, but it's literally so simple.
I was going to ask you the same thing.
If survivors do nothing in a match, the killer can down them, hook them and when they are all sacrificed the match is over.
The survivors did nothing, but by doing nothing did not hold the game hostage.
If a killer does nothing in a match, the survivors can do gens, open the door and leave and then the match is over.
The Killer did nothing, but by doing nothing did not hold the game hostage.
in this scenario the killer is body blocking a single survivor to kill them specifically, other survivors chose to not reward this by not leaving, the killer at that point could have down the person they were body blocking and gone after everyone.
Nothing was stopping the killer from doing just that, so yeah again, both were holding the game hostage and non were.
You can't make an argument against this, your opinion does not matter, this is objective, this is just a fact.
-
- yeah you are put into madness faster but you also lose it way faster.
- What survivors hated was the passive treatment mode walking around and just throwing people into madness because you happen to pass there as killer, survivors felt it required too little on the killers part to find them. Now the blast is an active ability that the killer uses when they think or know someone is close so its more skill.
-
@HookCampingBubba said:
And Peanits himself said, it's only holding hostage when there's no possible way for the game to end. There was, angry survivors chose not to take it. Good try I guess?
and ermm entitled? killer chose not to take it either soooo yeah again, my statement stands.
-
@Rasinbran said:
I feel like it shouldn't be a perk at all but instead an option you can turn on or off.
you literally can see more... why would you turn it off...
@OP, personally I think Shadowborn is fine as is, if the add benefit of seeing more at a glance is not enough, then yeah dont run it I guess.
-
TLDR, unplayable if your goal is 4king sure, if you are ok with 1 - 2k then all are still fine

Swearing? Lol, no point in talking to someone so sensitive and blind. "At the same time none were" lol wut.
not point in talking to someone, and then you ask for a clarification... ok then.
Non were because both could have just continued playing normally, the game wasnt actually being held hostage by anyone, both parties just chose to not continue playing.

They also need a rework, although they do counter dis
just make it so you cant mori until they would be on Death Hook and its fine, I think we all like mori's honestly, it fits the theme, has a cool animation.
Just make it a bit more fair like I just said, give the survivor some extra points for pleasing the entity with a spectacular death and hell maybe even add Cypress Mori to the default game where it only works provided the death hook on the last remaing character has been reached.
To OP, im not sure this is the solution but yeah DS and BT need to be looked at, they are rediculous perks that the killer can do nothing against.
Down someone at the exit gate, great, pick them up and they DS and run out, leave them for 60 seconds and they will just crawl out, nothing you can do as killer.
Or, have the gates be open, one survivor runs in an unhooks the person, BT takes a hit and they just leave, again, nothign you can do really.
-
ermm I have not seen people ask for a self care nerf ina long time, not since it was actually... ya know... nerfed

You're an obvious survivor main. He's not entitled to the mori, that's why he earned it and snuck up behind the potato survivor. Stopping the game was impossible until 3 other survivors all agreed not to get the door, and hold the game hostage. Moron.
Ok first off reported for swearing, very childish behavior and does speak volumes of your weak position/argument.
The did objectively not earn it, a Cypress Mori requires there to be 1 last survivor in the match, when the killer chose to body block a survivor in the corner expecting the rest to leave, they did not leave yet, so non of the requirements were met.
The killer not doing anything at that point is not better nor worse then survivors not doing anything at that point, both were holding the game hostage and at the same time non were.
-
Personally I feel No Mither should leave no blood orbs.
Honestly who cares if that means that a 4 man no mither squad means the oni cant use his power? YOU ARE FACING A 4man NO MITHER SQUAD, aka 1 Basic Hit is down....
-
@HookCampingBubba said:
Like I said in the other discussion, survivors are clearly holding it hostage. I guarentee that killer had a cypress mori and just wanted to make sure it wouldn't go to waste. Fueled by entitlement and spite, the other 3 bring the game to a grinding halt until the killer lets him leave or quits. Easy to demonize a killer when you only look at it from one incredibly biased side.
and the killer is not entitled to that cypress mori, you are the incredibly biased on if you pick any side in this.
Both do nothing, both hold the game hostage, simple as that.

@The_Bootie_Gorgon said:
I'm going to say in this scenario...the survivors are holding the game hostage. They can finish gens and trigger the end game collapse. The body blocked survivor will be consumed by EGC.
@The_Bootie_Gorgon said:
The other 3 survivors had the choice to start EGC.
yeah and the killer had the choice to down and hook the survivor they were body blocking soooo yeah if both do nothing, both are holding the gmae hostage.
-
like survivors with DS, BT, DH, Adren/Unbreak
-
glad you are looking forward to it, I did not know this existed and now that I watched some gameplay....yikez that looks low budget/cheap.
but again, each their own.
-
I would LOVE stats, if only on yourself, if you guys ever played Battlefield 3 you know what im talking about.
What map have you played most on?
What killer do you play the most / percentage usage per killer
What killer did you kill the most with
What survivor did you escape the most with
etc etc etc, I would LOVE to have osmething like that.
-
Mixed, Im impressed by some stuff and super dissapointed and shocked at other stuff.
I would say in general im more negative about them then possitive.

Both ReShade and Freestyle are white listed by EAC and have been for like a couple of years.
yes....hence the "legally" part of my post.
-
If you are aware of this, then im suprised you would even make a topic like this, you should be aware of how pointless it is.
-
I think the solution really lies more in what has been suggested for a while, have the survivors do more.
Ruin was there to do one thing, buy the killer more time, which was more important for some killers (trapper) then others (nurse) but important enough that a LARGE part of the killer base use it.
Now that that is sorta gone, we need some inherent gameplay change that adds just that, a bit of time for killers.
And remember, more objectives also means more points for survivors, which I think they will welcome.
Heck i know it makes little sense, but if a survivor would get points, lets say 2500 bp of so for a spectacular death (aka getting mori'd) then I think a lot less survivors would oppose it that much.
-
If the devs wont give us stats, we will keep track ourselves!
Friend of mine does this as well :P
-
wait so you are actually trying to legally cheat?

I explained it extremely simply. I honestly have no idea how I can possibly dumb it down for you anymore. But I will try.
Platform: PS4
DC option A: pause game. Choose leave. Confirm. Survivors still get points.
DC option B: press ps button. Select dbd app, press options button, close software. Survivors get no points.
So why would I not care?
Ermm is that not exactly what I confirmed with my interpretation?
"sooo are you saying that if they dc on the ps4 version, you dont get any points as survivor?"
Thats literally what you were trying to say and instead of a simple "yes that is what im saying" you make us waste time acting as if I misunderstood?
Kinda weird choice/behavior imo.
But to be on more on topic, Ok, yes in that case that is messed up, the PC version does not work like that, you get points regardless as survivor. so really, PS4 version needs to be fixed in that regard, that should be asked for rather then asking Killers to stop DCing.
-
DH is in the meta for a reason...
But hey, if you know they have it, just bait it out

If you can't understand what I just typed what is the point of saying it again?
ermm no point... you are trying to convey information, Im letting you know how I interpret it, if I interpretted it wrong then its up to you to convey the information again but using different wording.
Thats what explaining is.
But to not waste too much time on this, I assume by the reaction that it actually isnt the case that you lose all points gained from the match as a survivor if the killer chooses to DC, in which case Ill refere to my previous statement:
"you did some chases, you did 5 gens, all that is left now is opening the doors and leaving, so yeah you are missing those points but got the rest, now you can move on quickly to the next match.
So, again, why do you, or anyone, care?"
-
Yeah but man, the Doctor one should be changed for sure.
And I mean the sound you hear when you chase someone as doctor, its such a weird tune not befitting the Doctor at all.
Maybe if it was Spirit or Oni it would have been fine.
-
try it? what is stopping you?

Because on PS4 they are not leaving through in game. They are closing the app. So you wait in a lobby for between 5 and 10 minutes. Play a game for 5 minutes then get dick to show for it. Why would I not care?
sooo are you saying that if they dc on the ps4 version, you dont get any points as survivor"?

Oh, Corrupt Intervention is being used in 70% of games now? Nerf it. Pop goes the weasel hinders survivors just a little bit? Destroy it. Noed is the new hex perk of choice because literally every other hex perk has a lot of risk and barely gets any traction after 30 seconds? Gut it.
Seriously, why play killer when survivors are much more relaxing and fun to play (AND you get to see your full outfit?) Why play killer when the very legitimate concerns are rather callously brushed off while it’s totally groovy that 4 people can bring multiple second chance perks, not to prevent tunneling, but to make the killer’s experience as miserable as they can?
I just don’t get it.
you could also like, stop assuming so much...
Did they nerf self care again just because its still used far more then any other survivor perk? no, because nobody has a problem with that perk now.

So, again, why do you, or anyone, care?

It is not any player’s job to teach other players. That is the job of the developers. Through things such as a tutorial, or more subtle methods.
Just because Behavior royally screwed their game in terms of rankings, matchmaking, and so on.
Does not suddenly mean that the community is obligated to pick up their slack.
you arnt obligated, you arnt obligated to help an old person across the street either but its still the right thing to do.
If you like this game, im sure you want other people to play it as well so it does not die, this could be your part in preventing that from happening.... just saying.

I make sure I only hook them twice, I play seriously up to that point, then I let them go.

Matchmaking...
I'm a green rank killer so I should not be paired with a full red rank swf team.
again, survivors rank up super ez, I can tell you im a rank 3 atm and really, I should't be, I should be at best...8 or so.
And im not the only one, those red ranks you are facing can just as easily be complete potato's, rank does not matter.

I adore your videos and am surprised you haven't been banned here. Anyways. I personally feel that when a survivor cleanses a hex, they should take the debuff into themselves. For instance, lullaby skill checks, regressing any gen they touch if they cleanse bad!Ruin, or being blinded for the remainder of the match if they cleanse third seal. Dunno what I would do in regards to devour hope.
All this being said, I doubt the devs will make hex cleansing come with a risk. That would make survivors too frustrated and antsy, and actually have to make meaningful decisions. They've cemented the fact that they want all of the frustration on the killer side.
Can you imagine the juicy content Coconut would milk out of being banned? thats like 3 vids atleast of him showing he was right all along and now he is being opressed by evil BHVR for telling the truth they dont want you to know!
Final form: self proclaimed martyr reached! muahahaha
also, just saying, face camping is allowed by the devs and there is no ingame voice coms and you still cant deny a farm unhook when you are on the hook soo its not like there isnt any frustration on the survivor part
-
Laura does not really fit the idea of going up against a serial killer.
But a survivor heavily inspired by Laura Croft's character/occupation and some ancient Aztec killer, that could cool.

These are just some of my select scenes that I absolutely love.
honestly that clip from Texas Chainsaw Massacre is what I was going to link.
That... that scene is so freaking disturbing from how realistic/unhollywood it is.
No music stings, no overdrawn camera switching, just a mallet to the face, the body confulsing under the trauma, and another hit to completely kill the guy off.
Just super nasty and disturbing, this is how it would be irl, just messed up and therefor a fantastic memorable scene.
Still makes me sad this is not the mori animation for LF.
