Myers is immortal and possibly a demon in a human body, he'd clean house. It'd come down to him and Freddy, Freddy can't kill him in the dream world (he couldn't kill Jason there either, someone who's died multiple times) and Michael either overpowers him in dream state or drags him into the real world and slaughters him.

I just started to actually give Bubba a chance and I’m skill-wise a rank 12ish level but currently at rank 7 so I see mainly rank 1 and 2 survivors that are quite good/strong when I queue into a lobby of 3 waiting on one more so they are potentially at least a 2-3 person group on mic. I haven’t really used his addons and I haven’t learned his chainsaw yet but holy crap I have to be right on their butts to get a down and also pray there isn’t a vault or pallet close by.
T-bagging doesn’t bother me but we all know Bubba has a bad reputation so even if you legitimately didn’t tunnel or camp he seems to get plenty of Points and Butt Dances at the exit gates lol.
That meta of having to be right on top of them and praying there's no pallet/vault won't ever go away with Bubba, addons and chainsaw mastery just take the intensity and sweatiness of chases from a 10 down to a 9. A positive of this though is it will honestly make you a better killer. Try going from Bubba to a better killer with a similar playstyle (Billy) and you'll be amazed how you just tear through people. The drawback is you never truly feel rewarded playing him otherwise. Holding rank 1 is impossible for Bubba now without Hex Ruin, and red ranks period are sweatfests where if you don't go as hard as you can in the one specific playstyle that works for him you'll get anhiliated. I've let myself depip down to purple/green ranks now just to be able to actually relax during games and try different playstyles.
-
Nurse is still probably strongest. As a Bubba main I can tell you he's definitely near the bottom. Useless in chases, weak map pressure, no special power, weak addons, his only saving grace is his unrivaled dominance over hooks. I'd love to see a buff for good old Bubba so he can become viable in red ranks.
-
Deafening music and elephant killer footsteps combined with ninja survivors who don't even breath when downed have pushed me to only slugging in absolute emergencies. BHVR doesn't want their precious little survivors getting mad from slugging now do they?
-
Ruin getting nerfed is responsible for all of this.
-
Ppo it seems like it's just your goal to strip killers down to the bone and construct a bandwagon of hate when a killer gets a desperately needed buff. Doctor is still nowhere near top tier and is very counterable. Wasn't Hex Ruin getting obliterated enough for survivor mains, at least for a little?
-
Killer - New Ruin (Useless)
Survivor - Decisive Strike
-
I used to survivor main. Spent my time angry as randoms would crouch around the map all game and my swf group had no idea how to gen rush. Started playing killer, never looked back.

I’m thinking to start face camping. Who would be a good alternative to Bubba since I don’t own him. I have plenty of shards to purchase any non licensed killer.
Wraith. Throw a survivor in the basement and cloak, bring addons to silence the bell and decloak faster. Grab survivors as they try to unhook. Rinse and repeat. I've farmed multiple triple and quad basement hooks with this and a boatload of salt.

The team that handles reports doesn't just ban people for face camping or slugging. I have yet to see this happen.
I've had friends get banned for both and seen plenty of forums complaining about it. My friend also held a survivor in a corner as pig to secure a mori when all gens were popped and the other 3 survivors were leaving. This was his last ebony and got zero kills with it so he didn't want it to go to waste. When the other 3 finally left he downed the survivor. Survivor DC/s as he gets mori'd. My friend wakes up the next day to a 2 week ban. This combined with general survivor bias and toxicity leads to him quitting DBD and going to Apex instead. You're not omniscient.

Nah this thread is high key bait.
Telling everyone to be quiet about a game they frequent and suggesting you're childish for complaining is bait. The alternative suggested is everyone be silent about problems with the game which in turn lead to silent ghosting, where a game just dies off and the community doesn't even engage enough to say anything about whats wrong with the game to tip the developers off on how to improve. We're all adults here, we can cypher through a negative comment to figure out a grievance regardless of how many expletives are used. Not having the ability to do so, would be actually childish.

As they explained in subsequent comments, OP isn't taking issue with criticism in general, they're taking issue with people who take their complaints to destructive levels. And it's true that there are a lot of people on the forums who act like spoiled children when something in the game doesn't go their way, which is why making the distinction between constructive and nonconstructive criticism is so important.
It's such a vague thing to say and really seemed like a backflip after people pointed out how nonsense the original post was. I look at these forums daily and don't see the mythical "toxic killer rants" just fair critiques from killers, most of who are very frustrated with the current state of the game like me. It was just an easy deflection to make after saying something as clear as "stop criticizing the game just play" I'd value real feedback as a dev, not silence.
-
"Don't be negative, no insults"
-Calls everyone criticizing the game children
Nice bait thread.
-
As soon as SWF is removed you'll see a huge drop in facecamping, until then I'll keep throwing entitled survivors in the basement and stare at them.
-
Killers can receive up to 4 reports a game, survivors look for any reason to report killers, and if you dare to use a "toxic" strategy you're almost guaranteed to get one.
-
Just basement camping as Bubba and will continue to until Hex Ruin is restored or survivors are suitably nerfed into oblivion.

However the killer did do something. He chose to grief a survivor. You can't inhibit someone else's gameplay....
As for doing nothing and basically AFK'ing: From MandyTalk -
"You are free to report AFK killers/survivors - it's not something that I would immediately think is bannable but it certainly isn't playing the game as intended, and yes it would fall under Unsportsmanlike Conduct.
I'm going to say though, you certainly won't be banned for 1 match when you are AFK (it's actually happened to me, got distracted whilst waiting for a lobby and missed the match!) but if it's something that someone is doing consistently, then yes that can be looked at."
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/115799/is-afking-as-the-killer-to-depip-bannable/p2
Hooking someone inhibits their gameplay, downing them does, even hitting them does to a degree. This is so funny lmfao.

I was going to ask you the same thing.
If survivors do nothing in a match, the killer can down them, hook them and when they are all sacrificed the match is over.
The survivors did nothing, but by doing nothing did not hold the game hostage.
If a killer does nothing in a match, the survivors can do gens, open the door and leave and then the match is over.
The Killer did nothing, but by doing nothing did not hold the game hostage.
in this scenario the killer is body blocking a single survivor to kill them specifically, other survivors chose to not reward this by not leaving, the killer at that point could have down the person they were body blocking and gone after everyone.
Nothing was stopping the killer from doing just that, so yeah again, both were holding the game hostage and non were.
You can't make an argument against this, your opinion does not matter, this is objective, this is just a fact.
Imagine being so desperate you say your smooth brain hot take is oBJectiVe lmfao you're obviously a dogmatic survivor main. If I ever play you're, you're going straight to Bubba's Basement to get hook camped.

and ermm entitled? killer chose not to take it either soooo yeah again, my statement stands.
Killer had zero power to hold the game hostage, survivors held themselves hostage to spite the killer. I don't know if you're legit slow or something, but it's literally so simple.
-
Bubba's Basement is a legitimate tactic
-
And Peanits himself said, it's only holding hostage when there's no possible way for the game to end. There was, angry survivors chose not to take it. Good try I guess?

Ok first off reported for swearing, very childish behavior and does speak volumes of your weak position/argument.
The did objectively not earn it, a Cypress Mori requires there to be 1 last survivor in the match, when the killer chose to body block a survivor in the corner expecting the rest to leave, they did not leave yet, so non of the requirements were met.
The killer not doing anything at that point is not better nor worse then survivors not doing anything at that point, both were holding the game hostage and at the same time non were.
Swearing? Lol, no point in talking to someone so sensitive and blind. "At the same time none were" lol wut.
-
I personally wouldn't have moved a muscle as that killer, I'd be prepared to leave my PC on all night.
-
The wraith was only stopping one survivor from leaving, wasn't preventing the game from being finished. Same thing would be attained if he was getting hookcamped or slugged, baby survivors just didn't like the method he was using. Cry me a river.
-
Like I said in the other discussion, survivors are clearly holding it hostage. I guarentee that killer had a cypress mori and just wanted to make sure it wouldn't go to waste. Fueled by entitlement and spite, the other 3 bring the game to a grinding halt until the killer lets him leave or quits. Easy to demonize a killer when you only look at it from one incredibly biased side.

I wouldn’t say it’s the survivors being entitled. The killer shouldn’t just stand there and do nothing if there are no obstacles between him and the target. In a way he’s holding the game hostage as much as the survivors are by not opening the gates.
He's not holding the game hostage, he's holding 1 blind potato survivor hostage and they'll die after gates are opened. The other 3 survivors are entitled because they want every survivor to get out and the killer gets nothing.
-
Entitled survivors strike again

Yes more killers have become more toxic recently. Yes they have started to use NOED, Mori's, and Camping more. If you think they behaved this bad before the recent patches, then you are either blind, or ignorant. I'll just toss it up your were too entitled of a survivor to notice the Killer playing in a way that gave you some form of Mercy. I know I have started to play more Toxic as killer since the Ruin nerf, as when Ruin worked it allowed me to play less stressful, and give survivors more of a fun game.
After the change, now I just don't care about the survivors fun, and will use any means to get my 4k, and pip at the same time. It's funny to see the survivors get upset when you get the upper hand and start farming off the last 2 survivors till 1 dc's or they simply give up and suicide.
Well said.

By all means then please elaborate. Because quite frankly I'm not the one getting extremely toxic over somebody else's point of view. You think a perk that lasts 1 minute most times is "viable"? If not doesnt even work on skilled players. I literally made a topic complaining about how my ruin always got found early and every other killer told me "dont rely on ruin" the big idiot here is you. If you have zero to contribute on this subject aside from salt, then be on your way.
And I agree with the sentiment "don't rely on it" because you shouldn't. Old ruin would't do everything for you, it only worked if you had skill. Clearly you didn't.

Learn how to protect it or put pressure appropriately. You sound very low IQ.

Meh, my experience with ruin...it was found in a minute. If you look at my history and see a topic I created a while back. All killers told me not to rely on ruin. Then the second its nerfed they're the most hypocritical people acting like it was the wall stopping the game from breaking. The loudest wheel gets the oil. Ruin didnt make a difference then, it really doesnt make a difference now. Only difference now is you are forced to commit to a gen or it regresses so fast. I like new ruin better than old because it didnt bother people in lower ranks. People just like to whine
Completely ignorant to how many killers depended on Ruin to be viable, but continue to be a useful idiot for Survivor mains.

I love how you say "because I'm bad" after every time someone uses these perks.
I can do the same watch
I'm using NOED because I couldn't kill them all and split pressure because I'm bad.
I'm using Enduring/Spirit Fury to counter pallet stuns that I could easily avoid because I'm bad.
You're probably thinking I'm a baby survivor main? Good, because you're the exact same on the killer side.
Shut up and adapt
Salty survivor main doesn't like getting called out for his crutch perks lol.
-
Toxic killers? It's hard not to get frustrated when the very developer of the game shows their utter contempt for you routinely, and Survivor mains demand you placate their every need while teabagging you and DC'ing at the sight of mori. We're fed up with being treated like second class citizens.
-
Bubba went from very difficult but doable in Red Ranks to literally impossible. BHVR either doesn't know or doesn't care that many killers depended on Ruin to be competitive in any way, and without it the best you can maintain is Purple Ranks. Destroying variety and funneling everyone into the Spirit, Billy, Nurse meta yet again BHVR, bravo.
