The thing is, if you wait to have your 2 blinks before blinking to a survivor they will have already be far from 32 m (blinks max distance).

If you don't wait and just use your first and longest blink to teleport, its not enough. Between fatigue and blink CD they can get away pretty easily.

That is true, but if you don't mind me asking, what do you want from the old nurse that the new one doesn't have?

It is true if you don't wait you will never catch up(even if you did, 40 seconds of the chase would already be fine just for you to put the surivior in its injured state). I don't find it much of a big deal because it does result in patience. However, it is frustrating because you will be in that situation when you know you would have hit the surivior had the nerf not occurred. I been trying our the new nurse more to see what I felt with the new nurse compare to the old nurse in which made me want to dc at some points of the game. To say she is weak(is false),but unfun is definitely a thing with her.

The question is, how do people expect to fix the problem without the surivior mains fighting back?

A Hag spends 1/4th of someone's hook bar after their first hook trapping the basement and no one seems to have Urban Evasion or a Flashlight? I don't bring Flashlights because people's egos are so friggin fragile any time they see one they immediately put on an ebony, and I don't bring Urban Evasion because that only helps against ONE killer. Do I run there and trade a hook for another hook, where literally it's just gonna happen again and Hag wins anyways? Do I let them go into struggle? What the hell do I do because honestly if you're spending that long trapping the basement someone's gonna either be forced to get a 2 hook or she's just gonna get everyone?

I mean it's pretty much camping because of how long she stayed there, so I guess I could leave them on the hook, but camping at least will get her 2 kills.

To be honest, there is no right or wrong answer. People might try and be smart by saying "do gens " but they aren't too experience in that situation. This is because there is a good chance that the surivior will kill or dc from not having fun playing the game. This will allow the killer to hook and camp another person allowing the killer to most likely win the game because people will keep on dcing from it.

Let's say they don't dc (even though it's most realistic) because you are not playing a swf there is a good chance one of your team mates will go down recusing him. This will lead to that team mate getting knock down and also getting face camp to where the killer gets two kill. This will mean the killer doesn't have to leave the area and can just wait for all of them to die to head off for the next person.

Moreover, if you slowly walk down and unhook the person the killer would know and just head back because if you were to run, the traps activate. If you were to walk, the killer will come back in time.

Finally, let's say the surivior does get Unhook, the killer would simply knock the person who just got Unhook which will faster the person's death time and allow the killer to camp someone else. So you are pretty much certain to hold an L that game unless you find as many ways to farm out of that game.

Hey Nmcke again with that? Saying that "she can bypass survivor defenses" is a very vague argument to say that she is better than most m1 killers. Shes VERY EASY to avoid (and yes i have to put in in caps because you don't understand or you are just denying the real thing here)

ALL you have to do as a survivor is run, even in a straigh line you avoid her, and you know why? because she always have to wait for 2 blink+fatigue+charge time to try a hit and btw 2 VERY short blinks with no addons.

You are just denying the real thing dude, I can get 2 or 3 kills with my p3 legion and my p3 pig and i play in RED ranks. I can show you pics if you want... My nurse is p3 too and i played her hundreds of hours and mastered her before this nerfs. So it not a matter of skill, she's really under the level she should be.

A nurse can indeed catch up with a surivior running in a straight line. All you have to do is wait for your blinks to be fully capable of using then just blink to them.

As for a surivior dodging, if you are a good nurse and put yourself in a certain position. There is no way of a surivior dodging your attack unless they have dead hard. Nurse is like playing check, the surivior is the king and you are trying to line yourself in the position where the king will die in any stand point he is in.

However, I do agree nurse isn't the most enjoy able killers(far from it), but to say this nerf is really bad for her. Is a major exaggeration considering nurse kept her power of always winning games. Problem is she is quite boring but if she gets buff we know that suriviors would complain and she will just get nerf again. So you must think to yourself, what do you expect from the nurse if she was to get a buff?

Ghostface is really good as a killer. He is also really good when playing as a survivor. I just wanted to say that and get click bate cause I’m bored. Did it work?

Wait you can play ghost face as a surivior? Finally suriviors can kill the killers.

I’m a rank 6 survivor and now that rank reset has come I’m playing a lot of gf. I just can’t beat him. I honestly think he is a A tier killer. He’s basically Myers 2.0. How do you counter him!!! Whenever I legit stand in front of him and look at him he always gets the exposed off before I can actually turn off his power. Please help! I also think that when a survivor is looking at you as gf, it should not give a indication on where the survivor is. Cause no matter what your going to find them.

Always look at every direction for a second or more. For example, stare at the right side for like 3 seconds then move to the left. This allows your player model to automatically pick up on ghost face present without you even realising it(which I find funnt at times). If it gets too hard, use spine chill.

Another thing you will experience or have already experience is good ghost face. Why I say good ghost faces players is because you have to time each time you leave an object to stalk someone and quickly hide behind it so that you don't get reveal. Pretty much putting you in a situation where you can't reveal them and they can always stalk you. To be honest, there is nothing you can do to counter it especially if the ghost face is using add ons to make it longer for you to reveal them.

What I reccomond doing is trying to loop him as long as possible. However, I don't expect the chase to last long because people who are good ghost face will go into there stalk mode to hide there red light. Leading you with no idea where they are going or where they are going to attack you from. This pretty much put you in a position in which you have to guess (at least it isn't as bad as the spirit).

the current ds just forces to slug all the time, if i decide to go for the unhooker and i manage to put him on a hook in less than 60 seconds i go back and i got "ds" i didnt tunnel i just got punished because i am playing better than them and that just stopped all my momentum and probably i will lose the game cause of it, so imo ds should turn off as soon as i hook another guy becasue i didnt tunnel there i decided to go for other survivor, i think every person who ever played killer (just once) should agree with me.

This is not a smart decision for changing ds at all. This just leads to alot of ways in which killers can continue on tunnelling surivior.

Let me list you an obvious situation:

What's stopping the killer from slugging two suriviors, right? Hook one of them, then wait for that person who is hook, to get Unhook. So that he can hook the other person who is on the ground, so that the killer can go after the other guy who got Unhook because he has no fear of as being activated.

So to put it simple, no.

  • @Hag.is.Dtier said:

You throw them to create distance not to loop.

Huh? Scott's video is about debunking Spirits Myths. That why it should've have included if you hear her footsteps and if the grass moves while phasing. A ton of claim it does and others say it doesn't.

If you hear footsteps that means the killer would hear your footsteps as well. Thus meaning you are likely to get hit. So I don't consider that as some sort of counterplay.

I'm simply saying I want videos of spirit moving grass because I have no saw a spirit move grass or seen videos of it.

The point of the video was to mention the main claim people been constantly using to "Counter the spirit" (it isn't a counter because you still have no knowledge to where the killer is and what he/she is doing whole phasing).

  • @bendermac said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/843743#Comment_843743

Well, they should've been added to the video as the title says "Debunking Spirit Myths" ;)

I don't get the point of you saying that because you have no evidence to prove your statement. So to put simple, it isn't valid until you can show clear evidence of it.

  • @Bravo0413 said:

It has to be that obscure.... ask yourself what would you do if you could just know whenever she phased? Youd walk.... ez answer.... because then you dont leave scratchmarks, you dont make as much noise especially if you're not injured... ez hardcounter that renders the power useless and forces the most boring gameplay ever..... how exciting would it be to just walk to win?

She was light post before and we saw how that turned out and we know why it was changed... you proved that the tell is there, thank god it has came from you Scott...

So the killer is disabled and can't hear? This is what I'm getting from you trying to list options to what a surivior can do. Let me give you an example of how ridiculous your argument is.

Gen rushing? Ez counter just put map pressure.

Infinity? Ez counter just use perks to close windows.

Op items? Ez counter just leave the game.

Everyone agreed those add-ons need to go. So what are you talking about?

And you sound like you don't play nurse at all, and only experience her when playing survivors

Of course from survivor perspective, she is still the same, but we're talking about killer perspective here. You should not apply survivor perspective to killer perspective

I'm simply talking about nerf for nurse and why it is necessary. So what do you think I'm taking about?

How do I "sound like" I never experience playing with her?

I'm applying both perspective which is why I brought up YouTubers and does who stream. I can't simply say I'm good at nurse without evidence which is why I mention gameplay footage of people using the new nurse.

How often did you went against a 5 blink addon nurse? Because I dont think it was something common.

She does not function the same anymore, she is 96% ms because she could blink when she wanted too, now you're forced to walk a lot more than before but her speed is the same, slower than a survivor. Seems fine right? And im not the only one saying shes unfun, I've yet to find someone who has had any fun with her.

I have went against 6 people (I think it is more but I don't keep track) that uses 5 blink Nurse in total within my year (or months) of playing dbd.

I really don't get the big deal because must suriviors would try juking the killer then trying to escape. This is because all defences I'm capable of ignoring so all suriviors would bait me to blink me into the wrong position. Why I'm saying this is because this is a common thing I do and see suriviors do to try and waste time. The walking thing isn't a big deal because you can still recover your blink at a fast enough rate to hit a surivior.

I don't know how the type of games you guys played but for me everything seems fine. There was one game while using the nurse in which the surivior had one gen, then in like a minute I knock down three of the suriviors because I didn't miss one blink attack. The other guy escape through hatch. Granted when first using her I got destroyed (almost) at that game, until I realise that I shouldn't constantly be using my blink attack one at a time.

  • I was because she was the only killer I was consistent at in winning games (other then hag).

I'm average at times using nurse, but I don't mind a challenge. I don't have stream, I have an Xbox.

  • @beatddb said:

I believe the Nurse nerf was exaggerated.

The (new) Nurse is uncomfortable and unfun (to everyone in the match), thats a fact. She is, of course, still strong (less than post-nerf Spirit IMO) but I don't think ANYONE in the match, killer or survivor, has fun playing with her. She was hard to control if you were new, and now is incredibly harder and incredibly weaker, why?

I mained her some months ago, I had my fun and I was really good with her til I started maining Huntress. Came back to her and I just can't believe how unfun she is, like really. I prefer to play Legion against a coordinated SWF than Nurse.

She is still the lowest killer in the game, but you're now forced to walk 90% more than before, why don't give her 110% movement speed?

I can't even start to imagine what would it be playing Nurse on maps like Hawkins, I doubt you have a chance against average survivors.

And now shes just been left to die... Devs havent said a word after her nerf. Are you still monitoring her to see how she performs? I think it might be too early yet, but still, a word from the devs would be very welcome.

She wasn't that hard to control when using 5 blinks add on, even if you were new at this game.

How is she unfun and uncomfortable to play as when she still function the same? All you have to do now is be more patient with your blinks if you are always replying on using multiple blinks.

She still function the same as ever, so your reasoning for complaining about her makes no sense. Just because she is hard to use, doesn't mean she is unfun. It means you are just not good at using her unlike other players. Why don't you take your time and properly learn her instead of always wanting to constantly blink all the time?

Why should the nurse be able to move that fast when she is capable of ignoring all defences against suriviors? This isn't a complaint, it is just you wanting her to be like how you want her to play as.

Moreover, why would the devs monitor her still? There's plenty of gameplay out there to show the new nurse is srill capable of easily getting 3k all games if you know how to use her.

  • How? From seeing streams, videos and playing against good nurse players. There is little to hardly any difference to her power.

Ok first of all I was talking about Nurse.

Secondly, I think the Spirit nerfs are actually ok and are much closer to "slight change" than the bushwhack they hit Nurse with.

On the topic of mindgames though, Spirit is probably the most mindgame heavy killer so anything that detracts from that will hurt her more than they intend, like with Nurse. I dislike the vault change because that was something unique about Spirit, but I don't play her so I won't really be too down about her changes.

Nurse is fine as she is now. Complaining about the nurse would just show how you didn't have much skills on using her. Otherwise you would hardly care about the nerf and wouldn't see any difference other then her add ons. She kept her ability to end chases quickly which is pretty much all she needs and can still ignore all defences a surivior has.

You called spirit a "mindgame" killers? You are joking, right? You understand what mind gaming is? Mindgaming someone who is invisible and doesn't give you any feedback on what they are doing. Whereas, the killer has every right to locate you and know what you are doing. You call that fair and a mindgame?

A killer that can constantly win games with little to no skill, does deserved to get nerf with her ability, otherwise she will always win games. Scott Jund has already made a 2 hours gameplay video of him using spirit and winning every single game with her. He doesn't even call himself a main or a very good spirit user which that alone says how easy it is to use Spirit.

Not to mention spine chill now makes his stealth useless.

Not really because you wouldn't know the exact position of the killer. Even if you did, ghost face would most likely already 99% you due to his speed on stalking suriviors quickly and it taking the same number of time almost to him fully stalking you.

  • @coppersly said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/838867#Comment_838867

Just because survivors refuse to change their playstyle to adapt to the killer doesn't mean the killer is still strong. In this case, she still is. But like I've said in other threads, why would you play something that is constantly giving you negative feedback now? It's frustrating, janky, and plain dumb to walk around so much when you're the slowest killer in the game and using your power like you're supposed to to supplement that now punishes you. And her counter became so braindead easy to do, run past a corner. All her mind games are lost with this change, I mean there are just so many problems.

This killer has been out for a year now, so it's obvious that it isn't the surivior changing their gamestyle, it is that there is no counterplay. She has every rights to locate a surivior than a surivior has to know where she is, this allows her to pretty much counter all things a surivior can do against her as they would just be guessing.

"Run past a corner" so a killer is disabled and can't follow you?

"All her mindgames are lost". First off, the killer has no mind game because how can a surivior counter someone they can't see or know what they are doing? Whereas, the killer is capable of standing still and gaining knowledge what the surivior are doing so that they can phase. Secondly, they haven't took away the main point of her and that is her having no way to mind game the killer because she gives no feedback to the surivior.

Every killer gives a negative feedback to there power, so what are you talking about? You kept pretty much everything you need to still end chases in a short time because the main problem of her has not been solved.

  • @Lucama said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/839636#Comment_839636

And the several times they've posted stats killers like Nurse and Spirit have barely better stats than other killers at red ranks. They're played more, yes, but that's because they're the few viable options when survivors decide to try for a change.

Not really because they are both killers which can ignore all loops. Other then Nurse, Spirit was just a guessing game which didn't really require much skill to counter nor play.

  • @xllxENIGMAxllx said:

Strong killers don't dominate though. You only see them in top ranks because they're the only viable choice against the stuff top tier survs bring into games. Buff weaker killers and you'll see character diversity.

That's false because the devs have stated multiple times that killers such as Spirit always been dominated red ranks.

  • @CrowFoxy said:

If BHVR doesn't pull anything, this nerf doesn't seem so bad really. From playing the killer, she will still be top tier. As she was without add ons previously anyways, and collision rarely gets me one of my hits.

Don't add any more on top of this, and she will still be meta I predict.

This is different from the Nurse change, as the Nurse change actually just rekt nurse and made her not fun at all.

Those who complain about the nurse's nerf are usually the ones who are not good at her because people are still making videos and steaming of them getting 3k or more each game.

doesn't change the fact that survivors can waste a lot of time by just running straight line

and it doesn't include any exhaustion perks like dead hard, sprint burst, etc. In real match you are going to have a hard time chasing these survivors

It also doesn't change the fact a killer can't just use add ons. Not only that but if you wait for 2 blinks to charge you can get to a surivior running in a straight line with 4 blinks. Including that with perks to dodge or go further it would take 1 or 2 more extra blinks. So if we are saying it will take 6 blinks it would take the killer 15 seconds to catch and knock them down. Do I need to explain how quick that time is compare to how long it takes to do a gen? That's if the killer doesnt use add on.

However you would only have to juke her all 3 double blinks, you can waste alot more time with an exhaustion perk and ofc after being hit. A chase like this can actually make it for quite along time.

True, but you should understand that a killer that can ignore all defences a surivior has. They would obviously have some punishment to their power.

I am not asking to know when she is phasing. Just when she activates her power. Basically, a tell her bar is charging (the thing that appears when you hold the power button)

I know. I'm asking why you are asking this and how it would make a different in the game? By knowing that she is phasing, what exactly are you getting from it because you won't know how close or far away she is.

  • @Alice_pbg said:

She needs a tell for when she activates her power.

That's honestly the biggest issue with her, lack of feedback.

You gave her a vaulting animation for that very reason, but not for her power?

Can any dev clarify why? @Peanits ?

Adding this here because people are not getting it.

I am NOT asking for a tell of when she's phasing. That would be stupid.

I am asking for a tell of when she activates her power. Similar to how hag crouches, wraith bings his bong and nurse lifts her arm. Just start phasing and stop if you wanna fake it

To be honest to know when have is phasing isn't much at all because unless you are ridiculously smart and can work out how close or far away she is from you then okay. Other then that, knowing when she is phasing doesn't really allow the counter player of what suriviors want. I want an accurate and confirm way of countering her, a way in which doesn't involve luck or guessing because obviously from what the devs said during the patch note, they don't want the game to be a guessing instead of skill. What exactly do you think would accomplish by being able to know when she is phasing?

  • @OmegaXII said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/835405#Comment_835405

The fact the survivors can waste so much time of killer by just running in straight line is not acceptable

It's just 20 seconds or less depending on their position. After that they will get knock down instantly because there is no where else for them to go. However, I do believe if they do buff her it should just be her movement speed being able to go slightly faster than a surivior. Obviously once that change is done then she her add ons which increases her movement speed would get a nerf.

To gain 2 blinks instantly back would allow you to catch up to a surivior at a ridiculously rate no matter how many times you fail or lose distance. That's why I think it got nerf because of how easily a person can recover from using her ability. Something that strong should obviously not be so easy to use nor be able to get back instantly.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

Old Nurse already took skill. Claiming something else is simply not true, otherwise everyone would have just used the good add-ons and 4k'ed all the time. I don't know about you, but I didn't see everybody playing Nurse.

Her add ons really were the reason why most people were getting 4k to be honest. You can just tell from how people reacted after changing her add ons, even though she functions the exact same way.

  • @Lost_in_the_Fog said:

There is so much uproar any time a change is implemented to this game. People beg for changes and expect the other side to have to adapt but then are appalled when a change is made that requires them to adapt. Or they get mad if a new character or perk is introduced and their old strategies no longer work the same.

It's hard for someone to look at a lot of complaints on balance and not think the real issue is a lack of flixibility on the player's part. Sure the games not perfect and I'm not referring to bugs that cause things to not work properly. I'm just curious if others see this too? And if it's not about a refusal to adapt, then what am I missing?

Both sides will cry no matter what. It's ironic how when a surivior ask for a nerf for spirit, killer mains complain. However, when a killer main ask for a nerf for gen speed, surivior mains complain. It's annoying at times how one side would refer to another as "cry baby " as if they are the ones to talk.

I play Nurse exclusively with no add ons.

Nurse has a 32 meter terror radius. Hearing her blink as soon as she’s in terror radius and you’re on a gen means you should probably run. Therefore, this exact scenario happens often.

EVEN IF IT DIDN’T, the fact Nurse can be countered by running straight ahead in any scenario is not acceptable. She’s a chasing killer, designed to keep up and quickly down survivors. A Wraith would catch someone quicker than she can in a straight line. That’s not acceptable.

A surivior can't run endlessly in a straight line.

Skilled counterplay if you ask me, i catch up due to a wall blocking the way of the survivor. You can do this on any map. All you have to do is run away in a straight line.

How many times would you be in that position in which a surivior is so far away to the point where you can't catch them (like pretty much all killers)? Not only that, but your terror radius most likely wouldn't be that large for the surivior to predict and already be able to create such a far distance.

Moreover, is that really a big deal? A killer that pretty much has no other counter than just juking, doesn't sound like a big deal to me. Not to mention how many times would you play a game without add ons (not even brown).

Kiddo take a friend, go custom game, dont take any addons. Take whispers as a perk, blink to the friend who is the survivor. Ideally you use whispers so you can see 32m exactly. So you tell him once you start to blink he just has to run in a straight line away from you. You try to catch up to him.

I tried that with using one blink only, i tried with double blinks (fyi charging 2nd blink while blinking with the first since that way you travel more distance) and I tried with a combination of both. Result? It is not possible to catch up, you need addons to do that.

So test it and come back here with video how you catch up. Oh and btw the video that you showcased was tru3 playing with both range addons (i said you can not catch up to a survivor without addons who runs in a straight ######### line).

I also sent another video of a person not using add ons.

Another thing is that a surivior would have to be at a far away distance for you not to catch up to them which is very unlucky for that to happen because your terror radius wouldn't appear. Not only that, but in most cases the surivior wouldn't be at able to make that much distance for you not to be able to catch them because they would usually be doing a gen surrounded by walls or pathway to block them from running far.

  • Are you not listening to what I'm saying and what I send to reply?

No balance and fun aren't the same thing because everyone has a different definition of fun

Obviously they are not the same thing and different people woukd have different opinions. However, in general things being balance allows the game play to be fair and enjoyable in both sides. I look at fun to be a part of fun because most people seems to enjoy things that are balance.

I didn’t ask for a video of a well played Nurse without add ons. I’ve 4ked as new Nurse with no add ons. I just found it incredibly unfun. I want to see counter proof that the straight line thing is bogus on base nurse, specifically. And again, I am 100% happy to show proof, just need to be given time as it’s not quite 1 here, I work until 4 and my wife works until 5 today. Need us both home to do a coordinated video.

If you really want to master your nurse then play custom game and use the add on that allows you to see tour blinks. It is very helpful because it helps you know how to use your blink power correctly and position yourself to a place where a surivior cant dodge or juke your hit. Another thing is being patient and not be frustrated when you miss your hits because using her you must be calm. Finally, you must accept loses in lots of games using her because it allows you to know what a surivior can do against her for you to counter it. It also gives you experience to knowing how to use your blink power at the right time and e.t.c.

That's why Nurse is the best killer because it takes skill with the outcome and wins (almost every game no matter what).

You’re misunderstanding what they’re saying, either intentionally or not.

If a survivor runs directly away from the nurse, a base kit nurse can no longer catch them. No juking, no looping, no hiding. A straight line.

She can get close, but never close enough to score a hit. Are you satisfied now? For a killer catching up means getting a hit, not breathing at their neck.

Never close enough to score a hit?

    https://youtu.be/zw82TsUL288

Want me to show you more videos?

A killer such as the nurse that can ignore all defences a surivior has by using her blinks. It only make sense that she relies on her blink instead of movement speed to get a surivior.

  • @Endstille said:

Well counterplay to nurse has been reduced to run in a straight line away from it.

Honestly, I read this a couple of times on the forums, so I did have to test it. Yesterday I went into Custom Game with a friend, we picked thompson's house for a test run.

So yeah you will not be able to catch up to a survivor, no matter if you blink once or twice you can simply outrun the nurse. Should you not get a hit by the end, you would have to do the whole thing again. How is this considered balanced or fun @Peanits ?

So for testing purposes we took the wall right next to the house which is basicly a big straight line without any LoS blockers, without something blocking the way of the survivor or the nurse. I had no idea it was actually this bad.

How to catch up? Use an ultra rare oof.

You understand that the nurse blink has a large distance in which they can keep up or even surpass a surivior, right? To say even when she blinks she can't keep up with a surivior is very untrue and you must not be experience with her to be saying that.

I have a feeling that a lot of arguments for or against Nerfs are based on a view that is simply false.

Spirits got like 35 sec chase average, which might feel bad, totally understandable. But you guys finally have to realise, that survivors are supposed to get caught, they are NOT supposed to be able to get chased for the entire match. And even this average on one of the best killers in the game means, that against an optimal group of survivors round about 3 gens will be done by the end of the chase. Chase average does not even include the time it takes to find a survivor and hang him. Survivors are wasting more time than the chase average , than the actual chase average time.

Also please consider this : An average of 35 seconds per chase, means that the killer needs on average 7 Minutes for 12 hooks. The only way for a killer to counter an optimal swf group is to go for a kill as quickly as possible since 7 minutes of chasing means that you will loose the game. And we are talking about the BEST average time. Imagine how it must be for non Spirit Killers.

Survivors already are the power Role, if both sides play perfectly the survivors will ALWAYS win. That is not an opinion its based on simple math. No Opinions allowed here.

The solution to this problem is not nerfing Killers and do something about the objective time.

It is completely absurd, that playing killer is way more stressful than survivor. I do play both sides and everytime i just wanna play and chill a little bit, i play survivor.

First off, you should realise the game is based on players having fun then it does with them having long chases. This has NOTHING to do with suriviors having to loop the killer, but them enjoying themselves while playing this game. If this was the case then explain why killers such as Nurse took 2 years to get nerf? Surely if a strong killer such as the nurse who is capable of ending chases in 20 seconds or less, would have got nerf sooner, right? But she didn't because players were enjoying themselves which is why she didn't get nerf in that time period. Obviously as time goes by people were not enjoying themselves playing against her which is why she got nerf. The same reason instant heals got nerf is because killers were not having fun against it.

Secondly, you forgot to mention what if the killer starts slugging. You also forgot if the killer uses perks to slow the game down.

You also collect that data from Scott Jund who stated that the surivior he was playing against was one or if not the best suriviors in this game. So it really isn't a reliable data, unless you are talking about an optimal team (then you would also have to be talking about an optimal killer to balance it). There are also killers such as Nurse, Hibiily and Huntress which are all capable of ending chases at that time, if not faster( I don't think that is a debate).

Thirdly, a killer is capable of finishing the game faster than a surivior doing gens, so is it really the objective time to blame or the killer's skill? But you would srill say suriviors are the power role instead of killers?

I'm joking (kind of), but when you guys speak of objective time do you guys even know how long you want it to take? Do you understand how boring the gameplay would be for suriviors doing gens for more than 80 seconds(especially if a killer uses ruin)? Do you truly think it would make much of a difference? These are questions I think people should ask more before jusr saying simple things.

I don't disagree with the objective time, but I don't like how you are treating killer mains as if they are just fodder to suriviors majority of the time, when it is untrue. Worst case, use leatherface and camp in the basement you are always certain for 2 kills or more each game.

  • @DarkGGhost said:

So they want to nerf spirt ( and they do it as they do it with the nurse) but what about killers that have less than 2 kills overall and /or you don't see them very often. Will they buff them soon or will they let them in the dark? Yes i know they want to buff Doc but this Doc we have right now it suppose to be a stronger version.

Note this Doc was when devs try to "break" the game.

The devs said in the recent Q&A Halloween interview that doctor is going to get look at. You must also think about how long it takes the devs to nerf or buff a killer (for example the nurse). Also, we should remember that killers such as recent Freddy have been buff who was without a doubt under performing. So you must remember it takes a long time for these type of things to happen.

Just saying before it's called one way or the other. It would be such a terrible redundant addition to the game if they added Rin's dad as KILLER.

Survivor? Yes please. Let us chase that murdering PoS and stab him a few times for what he did to his family. But if he's the Killer... Come on. Rin's lore stated he was passed over in favour of Rin, promising her revenge... so, what? Did the Entity change its mind? Did it just lie to her? How does any of this work and why am I quickly not caring? Don't take a huge dump on your lore right as soon as you start to focus on it through tomes, BHVR!!

Smh, I was honestly so hyped for the next original Killer (or even the Nun) to be revealed, but now I'm dreading it. I'm really hoping they don't add pointless Spirit 2.0 to the game, that would absolutely SUCK.

The entity can just be manipulating the spirit because the entity acted as if there was an escape for suriviors doing gens when there really isn't.

I've made tons of arguments for both sides, at least someone gets why, I'll complain both sides cause it's all really unbalanced, the solution is simple, after 2 hooks, have Mori be able to kill IF survivors that are injured or healthy that are too far away and if they are near disable saves killer time still admittedly but a killer is just that, a killer and have the key only work when 1 gen remains instead, but overall, due to gen times, and a strong team, killers don't have the time to even manage a hook, not cause they're bad but cause the maps are tailored to near perfect survivor movements, the shack being a prime example, loops being a good one too, at least the ease of it, especially when windows are involved, especially when there's multiple windows and you just have to switch between the 2 at times, with the pallet around, looking at the scrapyards mostly, putting the killer as they should to not be overpowered is easy, currently due to how overpowered survivors are right now, but here is the thing, when I play killer, red ranks, I normally win on gates or the 3 gen strategy, but for real, before I really get to a second generator, one gets done, the start of any game it's one gen done, nothing else about it, that's the fact, as survivor, I rarely lose, nurse and spirit the easiest, infinite loops, not from the normal way, from other means, but it's infinite, easy

I don't disagree with anything you have said in that statement.
