If keys are nerfed, then moris have to be nerfed with them. Simple as that.
I don't think moris and keys are comparable because I think we all know that moris beat anything a surivior can throw at a killer. Then again it would make sense to have both of them nerf.

I just got dead by daylight around two months ago now, and I feel I've gotten pretty damn good at it. I watch a ton of videos to learn new, and master preexisting techniques and strategies. I am just curious to hear what different peoples' opinions are for liking different killers. Personally, I like Wraith, Legion and Clown. Wraith, because he is a very straightforward and easy to master killer, Legion because playing him forces me to go for perfect games (sort of a go big or go home type killer to me), and Clown because he is really easy for me. I am rank 10 or so in both killer and survivor and I want to keep trying to get better at this game, because I have grown passionate about it. Bill is the best survivor btw :))))
Spirit and legion are a draw for me. Spirit because its spirit...that's all the reason a person needs when using her.
legion because I can finally vault fast as an killer...that's all because he is bad at everything else.

Yeah because face camping/slugging is actually efficient on winning games. It's even better when you do it against a person who triggered you. Obviously you are just giving them, the taste of their own medicine.

Its not meg's fault that Claudette mains can't understand the difference between math and english.

meg main, big brain as always
At this point, I think this is an English problem than math. I think we are talking about completely different things at this point. You are thinking that I'm comparing clown to other killers (some how), when I'm talking about the average kill rate the devs aim for, for every killer. So I'm saying clown is likely to get more than 2 kills and escape each game, not that he is better than the other killers.
I feel like we are having some sort of set 8 argument right now. Also, I dont want to get insulted by an Claudette main out of all suriviors.

I believe he meant average for the killers and not average for the 2 kills 2 escapes average the devs want.
I disagree because he tried to justify what the average was for the graph. Also it wouldn't make no sense how that related to what the data the devs gave us.

average is summing up all killers' kill rate and divide for the number of killers. no way the lowest kill rate to be above average. just to clarify how math works...
Let me quote you on what the devs said:
"A 50% kill rate would be the equivalent of two survivors dying and two survivors escaping."

Stats are back at last! We've taken some time to gather some data and make some fancy graphs for your viewing pleasure. Be sure to let us know if you'd like to see more regular stat releases in the future! Since it has been a while since we last shared stats, these graphs show data from the past three months unless otherwise stated. Please keep in mind that numbers are not everything; there are a whole bunch of factors that could influence these numbers.
Note: If you're having trouble viewing the charts, clicking on them will open a larger version.
Killer power vs. popularity
Starting off with how frequently killers are played compared to how well they tend to do on average. A 50% kill rate would be the equivalent of two survivors dying and two survivors escaping.

Mid-chapter 3.3.0: Outcome
The Nurse was changed in the last mid-chapter patch, and we've been keeping an eye on her performance since then. Below, we've listed her performance on PC before and after the changes, both in all ranks and in red ranks. Like the charts above, the numbers shown here are her kill rates (where 50% means two survivors escape and two die).
So either you are set 8 for math or set 7 for math. Your calculation is just pure nonsense and I don't understand where you got that information from.

Point #2 is referring to 4 survivors healing via Adrenaline in that scenario.
Well I don't really know what to say when that happens. I mean I don't see it being different to when a killer starts slugging everyone.
When a killer starts slugging everyone and leave on person alive, there is hardly anything they can do. The same goes for when all suriviors are fully heal against an m1 killer. So I guess it's balance when you look at two of the most annoying and boring things both side can do.
Once again, I don't really know what exactly you want me to say or what you are trying to refer with that statement.

1). If someone wants to/knows their team will soon get wrecked, they can slowly wander the map, tapping gens and/or going in and out of lockers all game, waiting for people to die - It's 100% unbannable.
2). You did not address my question/implication regarding current Adrenaline:
"I'm sure that, balance wise, you see no issue with a killer like Trapper, who has played 'fairly' all game, losing the 4 health states in the endgame for not intentionally camping or tunneling players out of the game."
3). I don't read fictitious reworks of perks on either side of the game that are never going to come to fruition.
1.) That is sleath and I don't see much of the problem with that. Is it bad for a surivior trying to stay alive and not get caught?
2.) By you saying the trapper playing "fairly" it means he was following the duty of the game, right? So in that case noed should be activated. I never said noed should not exist anymore and I do not see the point of how it relates to noed. I never said killers should be treated weak or pathetic when up against a surivior team while playing "fair . So once again, I do not understand where you are getting at.
3.) That is very untrue because the devs has listened and made perks in which are very similar to ideas people wanted to be seen on dead by daylight. So there is always an possibility of your idea coming true, regardless of it being old.

Especially if the survivor is sandbagging and/or just hops in and out of lockers all game.
Earned it!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm sure that, balance wise, you see no issue with a killer like Trapper, who has played 'fairly' all game, losing the 4 health states in the endgame for not intentionally camping or tunneling players out of the game.
That is obviously against the rules of the game, so the surivior would get banned for doing that. So if you call that an reward, then okay.
Did you even read my comment to the end(then again it was a bit long)? I said and I will quote "if a killer hooks a certain number of suriviors, the perk will activate. This means you not only worked for it, but also inspire you not to lose hope by seeing that you have 4 suriviors alive and healthy".
So tell me, where in the world did I try to make it sound unfair or unreasonable? I said the perk abilities shouldn't change, but the description to activating it should change to make it more earned!

The coordination survivors have on comms is insane. I'm not expecting a response, to be honest.
There's alot of things that I think we all agree, comes with alot of problems if they did deal with swf.
Number one would be, what if you are a solo surivior? How would they stand an chance against a killer?
Number 2 would be, how is it fair to punish those who wants to play an normal game with their friends?
Number 3 would be, what actions would be taking place with killers that have an short chase time?
Number 4 would be, how is it fair to have a killer end the game way faster than a surivior doing gens?
Thats just the obvious ones that I have list. Then again, I think at this point of the game, they expect killers to slug if they want to win games (example oni).

Incorrect.
As of the EGC, Adrenaline can now proc during the ultimate failure state of having 0 gens done.
You can argue that, the surivior done his job by surivioring long against the killer during that period.
Noed also activates once hatch has been close, and in my opinion, I see that being balance. The killer worked to kill all the surivior, and the surivior lefted alive, worked to stay alive the longest out of all the suriviors.

Do you really wanna know why I don't take survivors' side? Because the killer has to work hard to get a 4k at red ranks. Survivors don't even need perks to win a game. Just have a good looper to keep the killer busy while the other 3 gen rush the ######### out of you.
I don't play survivor so much (maybe 30%) and I can still keep the killer busy for a decent amount of time (rank 5 btw)
So don't victimize survivors who are the power role in this game
Oh I see because I always see you having some sort of evil intention as soon as you read an title that says one word which is "nerf".

Someone who only plays and worships one side shouldn't be giving feedback or ask for changes. It's crazy how many people have no idea what they're talking about because they don't want to play the game in its integrity. To have a full understanding of balance, you need to play survivor and killer.
People who actively play both sides are superior.
Growing tired of people acting like toddlers and getting upset over a god damn video game made for our entertainment.
You can do better than this.
So pretty much those who play both sides should be entitled and the rest shouldn't have an opinion or a saying in a matter, right? That's honestly how I read it and that shouldn't be the case at all.
Just because you play in both sides, doesn't mean you would have a better understanding to those who focus on one side more than the other. It's good to have an understanding to all sides(rather you are a killer main, surivior main or both) so that you can make an accurate conclusion to what it is like.
Let me put it like this, you may understanding what it is like in both sides, but it doesnt mean your level of understanding comes close to those who have spent all there time in one side. This is because they are far more experience, used to it and learnt to adapt to there environment. However, you are having to switch into both sides with less experienced and less knowledge to those who have been experience to one side, do you understand?

According to the recent stats, Freddy has the highest pick and kill rate in red ranks, so, he is "overperforming". I also heard that he is unfun to go against which leads me to the conclusion that he is going to receive a nerf.
I think BHVR reworked him wrongly. Why make him a top tier killer? Why do you want to make survivors' life miserable? How will you motivate them to buy your cosmetics? Just remove his traps and teleportation ability. In this way he can be a fun killer for survivors even though he will get gen rushed and looped for ages. But who cares for killer's fun?
Anyway can you think of any other nerfs to make him garb... ehhhh I mean 'fun'?
I swear you just hate everything about a surivior. You do a pretty good role in taking the killer's role to the next level though.
But in all seriousnes, I don't recall you once ever saying anything nice or kind to a surivior main or even bothering to listen to them. Your response would be as followed, "git gud" or "baby surivior main".
Relax, not everything a surivior say has to be, destroy this killer because I can't bully him or that he doesn't follow the surivior rule book (I think).

@OtakuFreak said:
As someone who plays both roles, I have no issue with ''No One Escapes Death''. Sure, it's not particularly fun to play against, but if it does come into play, then it's entirely the survivors fault!
However, many survivors post-game give me a lot of slack for using this perk, despite running Decisive Strike, Adrenaline & other top tier survivor perks which could arguably be even more frustrating to play against. In fact, the survivor equivalent to NOED is ''Adrenaline'', which has no counter-play available to every killer, yet NOED does!
I often use NOED to punish survivors who rush generators and decide to not leave once the gates are open and want to be cheeky & annoying. Many people call NOED a perk which is for ''bad killers''. However, they ignore the fact that the correspondent killer is playing with 3 perks for the rest of the game and may not even have the chance to use it if the Survivors cleanse totems.
To me, people seem to dislike ''No One Escapes Death'' due to its power punishing gen rushing, along with any decision to stay in the end game.
Thoughts?
To put it simple, perks such as adrenaline requires you to work for them. So to make a perk that can counter it toreward you from not doing your duty correctly by letting all suriviors do gens and escape, doesn't make any sense at all.
You can be let's say a rank 20 killer and still have an chance to win against a group of rank 1 suriviors from you doing bad at the game. Not only did you fail to hook a single surivior, but also failed to protect gens just to know you get rewarded? It's like you not studying for a test and still managing to pull off an A star, while other people studied for the test and got an B +. You understand where I'm coming from right?
This doesn't mean I want it to be nerf, but rather make it so if a killer hooks a certain number of suriviors, the perk will activate. This means you not only worked for it, but also inspire you not to lose hope by seeing that you have 4 suriviors alive and healthy without you having anything to support you. It is also why you don't se many good killers using it because they usually feel guilty on using things that are unfair (for example scott Jund didn't want to use the spirit because he didn't see it as being fair to suriviors).

That is in line with her killrate on the graph I was analyzing for this post. A 65% killrate means a 35% escape rate. That's below almost every killer in the game at red ranks save for Demogorgon and Clown.
Nurse has been stated after the ptb to be harder to use than she was before. So it only makes sense that after a few changes that have been done to make her harder to use. You will expect the kill rate of hers to drop as shown in the graphs when comparing the old nurse to the new one. So I personally think it's self explanatory to think that once changes have been done to a killer (especially if it is a nerf), the outcome would be that the killer will be performing worst than she was before. So it's logical to wait for the second release to the data graph to come out before making an conclusion based on only one data. This just makes your opinion on the matter not reliable and may be seen as you being bias from your profile pic being the nurse.

Freddy-
Freddy has no counter-play for any of his powers. You cannot interact with any of his powers in order to give Survivors a way to counter his abilities. When Freddy uses his dream snares he has no cool down or slowdown when putting them down. This almost always guarantees a free hit or down when trying to loop him. Also if you choose o disable the snares he gets a notification and can put them down again immediately. Then with his Dream Pallets, survivors can put them down, although similar to his snares he can put them back up almost immediately. While as a survivor you can remember where real pallets are, this is a unrealistic expectation for an entire team to do. Ways to provide counter play for survivors would be to give a cool down on his abilities for 20 seconds for each use. Also for his teleport make to so he has to commit to teleporting it and can't cancel it, giving survivors more options for counter-play. Another option for counter-play would be taking out the timer for the dream state and make Freddy have to manually put survivors into it. This would give survivors ways to counter his Swing Chains add-ons. Also a small quality of life change would be when survivors are put into the dream state and miss skill checks to wake themselves up, Freddy doesn't gain a notification, this would give survivor play styles more options for counter-play while still punishing them for failing.
Ghostface-
Ghostface and his Night Shroud ability is one of the best stealth abilities in the game, with no down sides. He has power creeped almost every other stealth killer in the game. He also has no down side when being broken out of his ability. Also with the broken reveal mechanic with his power when he leans around a corner makes him uncounterable. Ways to give survivors a counter to his power would be to make the reveal mechanic actually work when a survivor looks at him. Also since he has no warning before he strikes unlike Wraith they should either give Ghostface a warning sound or something before he attacks or give him 110% movement speed. Also another quality of life change would to give his addons that give his power a faster recharge rate a slight nerf.
Ghost face needs to have a slower recovery when a surivior is staring at him (instead of instantly ignoring being detected by hiding in a corner for a split second. Not to mention how strong and annoying it is when the killer is stalking then hiding in the corner multiple times). He shouldn't be able to use his power at all while he is detected. It doesn't make sense for his power to still be working, even though the surivior knows where he is. That's really all, he should stay the way he is to keep more viable killers in red ranks.
Freddy isnt broken (as in being uncounterable and e.t.c), but just mainly boring to play against. The number of abilities he can do, plus his forever Freddy build (slow down add ons with perks) just makes him unfun to play against.

Buff the killer then when against SWF; at least when it's a 4 man anyways.
What if that 4 man team just want to have fun? Not everything should be seen as a competitive gameplay when a swf joins a lobby.
If the devs was to try to do something like that, then suriviors can argue, every time a killer brings in a Mori or any ultra rare add ons, the number of gens should be reduced. Why should the killer get punish when all they want to do is test out add ons or see what a Mori of a killer looks like?
That's how unfair it sounds like if one side get punish for them just wanting to have fun. The devs even said so themselves that fun is the main priority of there game, otherwise no one would buy there game.
To put it simple, if the devs was to nerf gen time for all suriviors, then solo suriviors would have an hard time. If they were to nerf gen time for just a specific number of swf, then it would just be unfun, especially if the killer decides to bring out Spirit, nurse or any strong killer. So there really isn't any way to solve this problem.

This is what Peanits tells us and he´s right BUT.....
When finally the Devs rework the Ranksystem ? We are waiting and waiting...and all we are hearing is "soon"
In my opinion SWF is a cool feature, but then Killer´s must listen (if he/she plays an swf match). A good example is: More and better Rewards if killer´s start to playing matches against SWF. Because its harder to make a Victory. A Hardmode would be awesome too. No offering no perks...or better rewards for survivor´s if they playing solo. I don´t know but something must happend. ( Don´t forget: Dead by Daylight is a 4 vs 1 and balance will be never happend. So, stop asking for it..... )
Sry for my bad english grammatic

Not all swf wants to just gen rush the killer and make the game unfun. Some just wants to play with there friends while enjoying the game. So the ones that just want to play the game normally shouldn't get punished (even though offering such as moris still exist). Also, Peanits has shown data of swf matches and it is no where close to how killer mains make it sound.

I think it would be very productive and helpful if Data (mostly killer data) on stuff like how many kills average do they get a trial, How many players pick him, How many DC's occur for a certain killer. This would help the community be able to see what needs to change along with letting us give feedback. It will also reduce people just blindly saying to nerf or buff something based on just their personal experiences with the problem
Peanits show the graph of what it really is like in games with swf.

Nurse is far easier to beat as survivor, if you are unable to beat her by now you are simply a bad survivor. What does this have to do with maybe nurse isn't for you? I can 4k as a nurse without addons it will simply be a very boring match for everyone involved, all survivors die on first or 2nd hook such fun much wow. Beating a nurse as survivor is hilariously easy, why do you try to argue about that? She is far easier to beat lol. Jukes are easy and you can run her around all stuff that wasn't that easy before and actually required skill on both ends, now do a simple left right and she is unable to respond.
Haven't seen a single hag. Mind telling me where you get your stats from? Also one can argue that so many nurses have been seen due to the rest of the killers being so trash. The game is way too easy as 4man swf.
Where do the devs argue any sort of balanceadjustments there? None because they ignore it, they keep deluding people that this is just goofing around with friends (we ended several games yesterday in 5minutes boy i hope these killers had fun).
I don't understand this hypocrisy. I was fine with nurse changes, now it is spirit. Where are the plans for balance on swf? Probably survivors need cds as well.
It is cute how you even bring up depip squad when in fact they did beat a couple of nurses during the experiment. So not having 100% escape rate and just 90% and the bottom line for you is yeah nurse needs adjustments and not the ones dominating literally everything but a few nurses? TOP LOGIC. Have you actually seen the depip videos at all or do you just spread misinfo about it in hopes that nobody else did watch it?
Oh yeah no point responding? I state the oppposite, if something is irrational and easy to debunk, a quick answer will do. Strange that they are unable to do so. But hey even if an answer comes, when it is around the statements of swf is fine due to goofing around and 2 legion addons were making take mending too long so we made huge adjustments and buffs to survivors instead of changing those addons... yeah i understand why they keep silent about it.
What is the healthy state she is in right now? It is a dumb boring game as and against her.
What you seem to forget in the video that I made is the fact that due to the way how she works now you can also juke her much much easier. So this chase, simulates only catching up, however when you know what you do as survivor you know that you have to juke all 3-4 double blinks. Doing that is ridiculous easy now. The video also did not include any exhaustion perks of any kind.
As a survivor who understands nurse and her limits right now it is possible to run this killer for way too long. This has nothing to do with skill, it is mindnumbing boring.
Please stop to argue she ignores survivors defenses, which isn't true. Nurse never robbed survivors of their movement which in the end is their biggest defense.
"What you seem to forget in the video that I made is the fact that due to the way how she works now you can also juke her much much easier. A surivior can juke the killer, but in some parts of the video, it looked like you put yourself in a position in which the surivior could not dodge unless they had an exhaustion perk. Also, any type of exhausted perk would be useful against any killer so it isn't much of an big deal. 5 blinks would take like 36 seconds at best which in my opinion would be an accurate number of blinks a nurse should use against a surivior if they don't miss. At highest I expect 8 blinks to be used if the killer was to miss multiple times(so to balance it the surivior would have to mess up juking at times as well) which would be like 72 seconds at best if we are not using add ons.
"As a survivor who understands nurse and her limits right now it is possible to run this killer for way too long. This has nothing to do with skill, it is mindnumbing boring."
You can't run them for a long time otherwise I wouldn't call the nurse player a good one. It is possible to counter a bad nurse (very easily), but against someone who is experience with juking, I don't think that would work.
"Please stop to argue she ignores survivors defenses, which isn't true. Nurse never robbed survivors of their movement which in the end is their biggest defense."
Nurse has always been slower than a surivior if I recall. I aren't wrong when saying she does ignore all defences a surivior has. To can blink through anything and catch up to a surivior no matter how far.
To be fair, it does come off as me calling her very "op" and needs a nerf which isn't something km trying to say if you are getting the idea of it.
Besides by me commenting, it will leave this forum page to be appearing on recent discussion. Increasing the chance of devs to see. So obviously, if they were to change her I'm just commenting to make sure they don't make her more stronger, but more enjoyable.

Knocking a surv isn't as easy as 1,2,3 when they gave like 8 safe pallets and a giant window loop + shack. All 4 survs are good + u are an m1 killer=gg rip
That is true, but there is alot to take into consideration when talking about an optimal nurse(spirit or whatever strong killer) player against an optimal surivior team. Such as, is the killer slugging? How long is the chase time? What map? The number of pallets? To talk about good suriviors looping a killer almost endlessly isn't really realistic when the surivior is against a good killer. There is lots of ways a surivior can win against a killer, but there is also lots of ways a killer can win against a surivior. If a killer is capable of finishing the game faster than a surivior team, then I don't really see much of a problem (especially if it is an nurse or spirit).

And if you want serious talk, i can tell you that i hate the fact you assume every nurse players that cannot do well now are all potatoes that have no real skill and were relying on broken add-ons. I absolutely hate it. People are happy that those add-ons are gone, but not for her basekit change. So keep your insult.
I would but I don't see any enjoyment playing killers that can give me free wins all the time.
It was never meant to be an insult, but by you feeling offended, I'm assuming you are also one of those potatoes nurse players. If other players are capable of getting 3k or more each game using the nurse, what do you think I would say against those who are getting 1k with the new nurse each game?

What are you even talking about here? Yeah killers can position themselves in a way where survivors can't take certain escape routes. With Nurse your counter to her was to be unpredictable. Break LOS. Go for the clutch pallet stun every here and there. Vault windows. Use scratch marks. You had a myriad of ways to beat Nurse in a chase. Just because you never used them does not at all mean base Nurse needed nerfed. No informed opinion on Nurse rated her basekit as overpowered.
"Breaking line of sight would means the surivior would have to perfectly be near indoors or close to a corner in the timing the nurse was there. Not to mention that doesn't do much because the nurse has two blinks for a reason. You use the first one to put yourself in the position where you know what the surivior is doing and where he is. Then use the second one for the take down."
Or they just have to be nearby one of the giant structures literally scattered around the map. Also yes she has two blinks. One for gap close, the other for precision. If you break LOS effectively, her first blink to gap close isn't gonna put her in a prime position for her precision blink to actually land so she can hit you. And when you juke that? Congrats kiddo, you get a free window where she CANNOT TOUCH YOU. So use that window and run, break LOS again. Make distance on her. JFC its not a hard concept to explain. I've done it countless times as a red rank survivor and red rank Nurse player, so I know how these things play out.
"That depends on the nurse player because realistically the nurse has control of everything. Just like a surivior doing gens, they can't decide rather or not they want to do gens fast or slow"
So you're telling me the "power role" in the game actually has power? GASP the horror. Nurse is meant to be the killer where you say "the survivors are going to play by my rules now". I remember the day where Nurse was respected and feared. Where seeing a good Nurse made survivors afraid that they would lose. Now even seeing a good Nurse survivors couldn't care less. They laugh in her face.
"To be honest, the devs has said that they would usually nerf a killer if they at over performing (spirit) and if there was alot of complain. Obviously, the nurse is not fun to play as or against (that's in my opinion), but just like a good surivior. If a good nurse player was to show up there is nothing a surivior can do which is why she has always been put high up in the tier list. That being said, the devs making the nurse less fun to play against wasn't a good idea(I think we did a pretty good job so far) and I don't mind the changes to make her fun. However, I don't like how people call her weak and say she cant do anything because that is very untrue."
Blah blah blah your opinion which isn't telling of any certain majority until you say "I don't like how people call her weak".
LET ME EXPLAIN SOMETHING. Nurse needs to sacrifice one of the most important fields as a killer to use her blinks when she needs them, and that is map pressure. If you use ur blinks to patrol gens, survivors get away and you can't chase them until after their long ass 6 seconds of literal invulnerability against you. A killer with no map pressure is an F tier killer. End. Of. Story. Want proof? Old Freddy and current Leatherface. Both of them had/have atrocious map pressure. Nurse has to give up map pressure for chase power. And guess what? A killer with no map pressure is a bad killer. It doesn't matter how good their chase power is. Nurse could ignore every pallet in the game, see through walls, and instamori every survivor she touches. But if she only moves at 97%, good fkn luck trying to get that to work. No map pressure is what breaks a lot of killers. It's mostly why Clown is so bad rn.
"How to counter gen speed? Have map pressure, always make sure you are constantly on a surivior at all times to keep them off gens. You have sounds to know if a surivior is doing a gen so all of you have to do is knock down the surivior and hook them. You can also slug the surivior which can grant you a win no matter how many gens are left. Not to mention that because the surivior won't know the exact location of where you are, you can surpise attack them and knock down then down then hook them. Then just repeat the process of pressuring everyone and knocking them down then hooking them. It's easy to say, hard to do."
Map pressure is being able to go from one gen to another quickly. Map pressure is being able to quickly secure hooks before survivors get gens done. Gens get done in 80 seconds. That's long enough for one chase to blow out 3 finished gens even against Nurse. how on earth is that fair.
Second of all. Pressure is not "i find survivor I chase survivor". If that was true, 3 gen strats wouldn't be a thing. Basically what you do as killer now, especially with Nurse being a pathetic sack of bedsheets, is find the 3 generators that you really liike and try to tunnell down at least 1 dude before it's only those 3 remaining and hope to god they don't get a yolo key out of a chest or bring one in.
"I mean unless you are saying the nurse is weak, I don't agree with you. But if you are saying she is unfun then this conversation is kind of pointless."
Why are you even here? All you are doing is spreading misinformation and parroting the same equivocating bullshit that you see survivors in postgame lobbies try to pull to justify why flashlight clicking the killer was more important than doing a totem and NOED is just a 100% OP perk with no counterplay bc totems are hard. You are making zero sense.
"What are you even talking about here? Yeah killers can position themselves in a way where survivors can't take certain escape routes. With Nurse your counter to her was to be unpredictable. What are you talking about here? Vault? The killer can just teleport through it and just hit you. Pallet? The killer can just teleport right back on you.
I'm pretty sure if I never tried them I wouldn't be responding to real outcomes that comes with all these "counters "of yours.
Clearly you are not experience in this game if you actually think this works all the time. If that was the case, explain why nurse got nerf ? If it was really that easy, why was she ranked so high up? It's obvious, it's because she is capable of controlling her blinks to the direction of the surivior. You being unpredictable hardly means anything because once a killer blink to an area in which you can't dodge or escape, you are going to get hit.
You understand that using scratch marks means you would have to go that direction then head the opposite way, right? So that means you have wasted time walking that direction and also wasted time walking back as you are not running. This just leads the killer to catch up on you because it's not as if the killer has any perks or add on to locate you once hit.
That's untrue and I don't think you have any evidence to prove her Base kit wasn't overpowered. Nurse was capable of ignoring all loops and could catch up to any surivior with the ability to constantly getting her 2 blinks back without any delay. So it wouldn't matter if you missed because you have been right back on to the surivior. This is just common sense, but what exactly made her Base kit not overpowered? If you look at the tier list of every killer even when they don't include add ons, nurse is still at top and I don't mind showing evidence of it.
"Or they just have to be nearby one of the giant structures literally scattered around the map. Also yes she has two blinks. One for gap close, the other for precision. If you break LOS effectively, her first blink to gap close isn't gonna put her in a prime position for her precision blink to actually land so she can hit you. And when you juke that? You understand that the gens in maps don't always spawn near structure or in one, right? Auto heaven map offering is an example. So pretty much the killer is blind and can't use common sense to predict where the surivior is with the first blink then hit the surivior on her second. There is no reasonable explanation to why a nurse player can't just teleport through the object with her first to get line of sight, then used her second one to hit or get close distance. It doesn't matter if she missed because she would instantly get her two blinks back and be right back on to the surivior.
"Free window where she can't not hit you". Not as if killers can't hit suriviors through windows at all. Not as if the nurse can't just teleport straight through it, making that window compelelty pointless. Not as if you are losing los because you have the killer a notification of the window you vaulted in and a view of your scratch marks. Just saying.
You done this countless time? For reason I don't believe that because if it was that easy, nurse wouldn't be the strongest killer nor been the number one killer to use in red rank. I don't know the red ranks nurse players you came up against, but they are no where near comparable to mine. I don't mind showing gameplay footage of how it really be like for those who are good with nurse.
"Blah blah blah your opinion which isn't telling of any certain majority until you say "I don't like how people call her weak"."
Blah, blah, blah, your opinion which isn't telling of any certain majority until you say "Nurse is weak". Also, it is not as if I been saying "I don't like how people call her weak" over four times in different comments which just made your statement even more pointless than it already was.
"LET ME EXPLAIN SOMETHING. Nurse needs to sacrifice one of the most important fields as a killer to use her blinks when she needs them, and that is map pressure. LET ME EXPLAIN, the old nurse had map pressure and fast chase down, so was that considered fair to you? Also, if all killers such as the leatherface was all so bad then I'm pretty sure the devs would have buffed them because there average kill per game would have said a lot about the killer. For example, Freddy got buff because of the complaint and his average kill per game. Obviously from killers such as leatherface not getting a buff, there is something about the killer that is doing well (basement bubba).
"Map pressure is being able to go from one gen to another quickly. Map pressure is being able to quickly secure hooks before survivors get gens done. Gens get done in 80 seconds. That's long enough for one chase to blow out 3 finished gens even against Nurse. how on earth is that fair."
However, killers still manages to win games even though the odds are against them, am I wrong? Also, that is me listing how easy it sounds to counter it than it actually is. I'm pretty sure I made that clear, so I didn't see the point of you responding to that, but okay.
"Second of all. Pressure is not "i find survivor I chase survivor". If that was true, 3 gen strats wouldn't be a thing. Clearly you didn't get the point of it at all and I pretty sure I said map pressure is keeping suriviors off gens, but okay.
"Why are you even here? All you are doing is spreading misinformation and parroting the same equivocating bullshit that you see survivors in postgame lobbies try to pull to justify why flashlight clicking the killer was more important than doing a totem and NOED is just a 100% OP perk with no counterplay bc totems are hard. Why are you even here, you call the nurse weak even though people have Cleary shown gameplays of the nerf nurse still getting 3k each game. So all you are doing is just showing you never actually developed proper skill for the nurse and just rely on add ons all game. Also, what is the point of you responding if my comment is so irreverent?
There is no misinformation because I said it multiple times that I'm here to say the nurse is not weak. You didn't have a problem me saying it before, but all of sudden you do now? It's clear you are just looking for anything to complain about.
I'm making zero sense? I say you should relax and just re think whay you just type there. It sounds like you been builled or annoyed by an swf team.

Bubba because he would be hiding then waiting for the last person standing to then kill him or her. That is pretty much no different to how bubba be like in dbd. Hides in the basement, wait for a surivior, somehow gets a 3k to 4k in all game matches (unless it is an swf), repeat the process.

How to outplay a Nurse? She points to where she's blinking, inhales, and appears slightly before she lands, which means even if she blinks correctly, the survivor has the final say in the exchange. Break line of sight and turn the first blink into a 50/50 exchange, then evade the now telegraphed lunge on the second blink. Then break line of sight again on her cooldown and run while she walks at 96%. She has too much counterplay now if anything. This is before we even get into survivor perks like Iron Will. You HAVE to land a coinflip blink against good survivors. This was always the case, except the devs thought that the Nurse needed to be punished for guessing incorrectly without information other than a last known location.
You are saying it as if the killer can't position themselves in an angle in which the surivior can't do anything. If it really was that easy then no one would have been complaining about her add ons because her ability still stays the same.

You say all of that as if the killer would just let you do that to them multiple times. If that was the case they would have buffed the nurse not nerf her. Let me give you an example of how you would sound like if a surivior was talking about gen speed.

They’re very underwhelming, both Survivor and Killer, with the Exception of Nemesis, which can possibly make a stealthier build. I’m looking at them from a high rank perspective, and to be honest, they look like they’re better off as offerings than as actual perks. Maybe even ultra rare offerings for killer and survivor.
Blood echo? The killer's perks for this chapter is better than suriviour's perks by far.

I have in mind:
Nemesis, Spirit Fury, Enduring, and MAYBE Beast of Prey if they decide to run loops without stunning me.
What do you guys have in mind?
Time to become a full time killer main now I guess. A surivior match against a legion with that build is pretty much impossible to win at this point so I can't wait to see the number of dcs.

Do you know how much time he wastes to do that? 15 secs to proc undetectable + 15 secs of the wound timer + 5-10 secs to pick them up and hook them = 35- 40 secs of gen pressure. Not to mention that sometimes you can suddenly lose a chase, so you have restart the process.
Gen takes 80 seconds to be done without ruin or any other perks to slow it down. So...A killer that is always certain of a 40 seconds to less chase time, doesn't sound fair to me no matter how you put it.
So in simple terms, no.

As somebody who plays 50/50, I can tell you Nurse only ends chases as fast as you're implying if she is MILES better than survivors in terms of skill. If she is Miles ahead of survivors in skill. Then no, those survivors should not be escaping, at all. You face down someone leagues better than you, do not expect to win. And if you do expect to win, you are very entitled. As a survivor who also plays a lot of Nurse, I can tell you it is far easier to play against her now than it is to play against any other killer.
One juke against Huntress? Hag? Spirit? Billy? Myers? Plague? They stick on you. One juke against Nurse? Nope. She's peaceing out.
You keep arguing that patience is now the way to play Nurse. That is bad. Base Nurse already required patience. You are patient with ur blinks? You land on the survivor and hit them. You aren't? You miss and go through fatigue. This whole line of "The only problem is how patient a killer has to be while using her" is just a bunch of equivocating bullshit.
You strike me as somebody who doesn't play Nurse, at all. If she's such a great killer still, like you argue she is, why has she just up and Houdini'd her way out of red ranks. She borderline does not exist up here.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/851773#Comment_851773
You strike me as somebody who doesn't understand that a 6 second cooldown to a power, divided into one 2.5 second cooldown and another 3.5 second cooldown, isn't fun or fair. Especially when that power is necessary for basic killer functions. Imagine if Clown or Legion needed to use their powers otherwise they're slower than survivors. Imagine if Huntress moved at 90% MS and needed her hatchets to down survivors. Would you still argue that those killers are still good? I don't think you would. She's out of red ranks where the metaslaves sit. Metaslaves don't main a killer bc they're fun, they main them bc they're good.
And by all means if you think Nurse is still the best killer in the game, please prove me wrong. Post a video of you grinding Nurse to R1 in one sitting. Prove to me that she's still the best. My guess is you'll realize how wrong you are once you leave rank 9.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/850772#Comment_850772
Yeha no. That is just a lie. Unless you had Omegablink or 3/4/5 Blink, you did not steamroll red rank survivors with only 10 hours of practice.
Explain how someone can out play the a nurse player who is very experience and skilled? You talk about a surivior can rscspr from her, but never explain how exactly.
Of course it's easier to face nurse players because how many of them are good compared to those just doing dailies or are bad?
Huntress would have to go to a locker and grab new hatchet. This gives suriviors time to escape, otherwise Huntress will become an easy loop able killer.
Hag would have to waste time placing down traps which give suriviors time to escape. A surivior can also use items such as a flash light to disable it.
Myers would have to fully stalk you and that itself takes a long time which commonly result in 3 gens being done depending on the team.
Hilbilly's attack can be dodge (like every killer) and result in the killer haven't to waste time recovering for there punishment on missing there chainsaw.
You can juke a spirit, so does that mean she is weak killer?
Old base nurse hardly required patient. Her fatigue is normal compared to other killers. Obviously the new one is more longer and unfun (she wasn't really that fun to begin with). But she isn't weak.
So a killer going into fatigue isn't a good thing? So a killer should have access to spam there attacks?
She still does exist in red ranks, so what are you talking about? There is now 14 killers and you expect one of the hardest killer to learn to appear frequently?
I dont think you are that good with nurse or have seen good nurse players if you are saying that.

Thoughts on a perk like this?
After stunning a killer using a pallet you break into a sprint at 150% for 3 seconds. Causes exhaustion for 40/50/60 seconds.
I feel like this would be a great addition but not overpowered since the killer can avoid the pallet and its somewhat situational but still a fun and possibly powerful perk.
maybe head
I like this perk mainly because it counters spirit fury and enduring.

Without addons, because you keep claiming she's still viable on the highest level without addons.
The problem is not her chase potential. She lacks massive map pressure without CD or range addons. And range addons give you a worse chase potential. So you go with CD addons, then she's still viable.
She is viable because she still has the power to end chases faster. The only problem is how patient a killer has to be while using her. For the map pressure, I don't think it's a big deal because even though she can cover less map pressure she did before, she can still get to areas very fast. If you saw the link I sent of a guy testing her teleportation distance. She can still get around the map well and catch up to any surivior.

Play base nurse against good survivors on rotten fields. Then tell me she's viable without addons still. If you keep thinking that.
So if I'm playing against good surivior then why can't i use add ons? So they can bring items and e.t.c while I'm just here running no add on?
I mean I don't mind doing that, but I don't get the point of you speaking of "good surivior " as if I can't just be a "good killer " and not miss all my shots. This isn't me necessarily saying it is "easy" but if you are good at aiming then I don't see much of a challenge here other then me missing my hits. It doesn't mean I'm saying she is fun, I'm just here to say she isnt weak as everyone make her seem as if.

First of all the video you linked with Nurse literally states that if a Survivor notices you blinking directly at them, that hit is not possible, meaning you can get ran for the length of the Thompson house without concern from survivors bc you just wont catch them. So that video hurts you more than helps ur BS case that Nurse is still this S+++++++ killer.
You aren’t at all being reasonable. The point of this rework as the devs said is to make her more fair. But she *ISNT MORE FAIR*. She’s unfair, except now it’s unfair to play as her, not against her.
Nobody wants to play Nurse, she has disappeared from the red ranks where all the meta slaves live and the silence on her from the devs is very VERY telling. Clearly they are proud of this rework despite it being a lazy mess of nerfs and half baked reworks. From the people who brought us the Freddy rework, this is ######### shameful and I’m insulted that they think this is good.
She isn’t fun, she’s fallen out of red rank viability, and her counterplay is literally run in a straight line like a rank 20. She’s no fun and she’s no good.
I don't know if the link I sent you is the same as the one it is now. But if it is then the video just proves that the nurse is capable of catching up to any surivior regardless of how far they are. So the point of a surivior simply running in a straight line isn't valid. A surivior can run in a straight line against any killer and still make a far enough distance to make it to another loop.
https://youtu.be/fcO-rJBkcOoShe is unfun, but she isn't weak and her counter play isn't running in a straight line.
The surivior would have already been in a far enough distance to where the nurse would have to used alot of blinks. Just like every other killer trying to catch up to a surivior in a chase. For example, each blink the nurse has can cover 13.33 m/s, but the trapper moves at 4.5m/s. Obviosuly including the fatigue and e.t.c she would still be going around the same speed rate as the trapper when using no add on. So once again, she would still be moving faster than a surivior with her blink.

It would still turn a lot of loops into near infinites, It would be weaker but not useless
No you are wrong because a killer can pretty much recover at the same speed as balance landing. So how are you meant to make distance or waste the killer's time, when he is faster and has the same recovery time as you?
How are you even meant to make it to a loop against a killer that moves faster than you?

You are saying it as if millions of people were even good while playing with her.
Once again, she kept her function of using her power just more drawbacks.
Once again, I said nurse isn't a fun much of an enjoyable killer and is from it if you read through my previous argument. It's clear that you responding means you highlighted one of the arguments I was in, but never bothered reading through it.
I also mention what you said about the duration not being fun and that is very understandable. However, you must understand that the devs are thinking of methods to make harder to learn, but enjoyable to to play once fully understand. This is to keep the surivior mains to stop making constant reports about a killer.
If that's you conclusion, then fair enough. I'm just here to be reasonable (somewhat). If you and many people do think it has a big impact and deed her as unfun then I can't what's fun for you and what isn't.

Okay ur first point was to try and justify a basekit nerf by explaining a problem that stemmed from her addons. So why you think you were justifying a nerf to her basekit by explaining an addon problem is beyond my comprehension.
"So you done your calculation, so why don't you calculate how long the chase would be if you land all your hits as Nurse. Also, you are saying it as if the nurse blinks can't catch up with the nurse which is untrue."
She travels 20 meters with the initial blink, 12 with a fully charged chainblink. At best she can travel 32 meters in one burst and then has to wait 6 seconds before being able to move at that speed again. Survivors run at 4.0 meters. In 6 seconds they can cover 24 meters. Against Nurse who runs at 3.85 meters. Survivors gain .15 meters per second. So by 6 seconds they gain over 1 meter on Nurse, this is not at all including her fatigue stun which kicks her movement speed down to almost 0 for survivors to get a free 9 meters on her. When you consider LOS breakers, the fact that Nurse is slowed while charging a blink, and the number of bugs/glitches that turn Nurse into "dead by dedicated servers", the counterplay for Nurse is boiled down to "Hold shift and W. Profit".
"Nurse's power is too weak? Are we speaking about the nurse that can go through walls and ignore all defences that a surivior has? Capable of not only applying fast chase time, but also capable of applying map pressure?"
The same Nurse that moves slower than survivors and needs her power to catch up to them? The same Nurse who has a 6 second cooldown on one power? Separated into one 2.5 second cooldown and one 3.5 second cooldown? Yeah, the very same.
"The reason why people use Spirit is because she is a free, easy win without any challenge. Don't believe me you can just watch Scott jund who made a 2 hours video of him winning constantly as a spirit. He doesn't call himself a skilful nor main spirit which says alot."
So how did she only start dominating red ranks after Nurse, the only other red rank viable killer, was reworked?
"The nurse I play as sometimes with what I seen of good nurse players are disgusting. To say she is unfun I can understand(but she wasn't really that fun in the first place without add on), but to say she can get bullied and is weak. Now you are just over exaggerating or haven't seen the nurse players I been against."
So your examples are the only ones that exist? I've seen dozens of people talk about how easy it is to bully Nurses right now. I've seen tons of people, including myself, who had fun with old Nurse with no addons, and now we're at least heavily considering leaving her because she isn't fun anymore. I have way more examples of people who are not a fan of current Nurse than you have of your own accounts. I'm a rank 4 Nurse. I continue to main her because I love her concept and character, but goddamn she is NOT fun anymore.
First off, if you read my first paragraph I was talking about the nurse and everything she has, not a base kit.
Secondly, why would the nurse chase after the surivior without her blink? Also, you forgot to include that the best kit nurse with one blink is capable of cover 13.34 m/s. So regardless of what you say, she is capable of catching up with a surivior even if the surivior has an head start and knows the exact location of the killer.
https://youtu.be/fcO-rJBkcOoI'm sorry but to use the dedicated servers as an excuse for the nurse isn't valid because it has also affect the suriviors when killers use there lunge attack which looks like it shouldn't have hit.
Thirdly, so the nurse that is capable of ignoring all defences a surivior has and is always capable of catching up on them is weak? The nurse that even without add on is still capable of winning games consistently?
Fourthly, like I said, spirit is much more easier to use and requires less skill to an games unlike other killers. What's the point using killers that are harder to use and takes alot of time to learn, when you have a killer that can offer a free win?
https://youtu.be/MuRkdsOFVlMDon't expect you to watch it. Just there to show you how easy it is.
Dozens of people that talk about her but have never shown evidence of being good at her in the first place? In that case, then anything a surivior ask for, for a nerf or change should be done because they have an higher fandom than killers. However, as you can see from the forum not everything a surivior demands is done.

The Nurse is still playable, you are correct in that. But no one WANTS to play her anymore. They took a very popular killer, and turned her into one that people only use if the have a daily the want to complete.
People play games to have fun, if there is no fun, then that is a wasted character.
The nerfs to the Nurse were fatal. I have played against maybe 2 Nurses since the gutting.
I've played against more Legions then Nurses.
All the people that are happy with the Nurse changes, are mostly survivor mains that couldn't pull the same ole pallet loop defense against her. But most of the people who play the game and are honest know the Nurses changes were too much. And I'll bet the data will show that more will need to be done to swing the balance the other way, if BHVR hopes to have people play this killer again.
Explain how the changes too a massive changing because she still ignore loops and the only disadvantage I can think about is the few seconds cool down when using her power.
Also, what was fun about the old nurse that isn't for the new one?

ANY MEANS NECESSARY: WHAT?! So... all members of SWF is gonna run this, you drop the God pallet at shak after a 2 1/2 mins loop, go away for 3 seconds whyle one of your teammates goes to it, fixes it, you return to shak loop, use god pallet again, repeat as much as you want as long as all 4 of you have the perk... Nice!
WHAT?! This is a must have for SWF that's gonna be tough AH to counter...
So the killer won't destroy the most strongest pallet in the game instantly?

Okay hold on I'll go 1 by 1.
"She wasn't that hard to control when using 5 blinks add on, even if you were new at this game."
Which the basekit nerf on its own changed nothing about and was removed by popular demand since everyone agreed it was OP.
"How is she unfun and uncomfortable to play as when she still function the same? All you have to do now is be more patient with your blinks if you are always replying on using multiple blinks."
If you are always relying on single blinks you are playing her wrong or against some pretty bad survivors. You need your double blink if you are going to catch a survivor, having to wait an extra 3.5 seconds after ur 2.5 second fatigue stun gives survivors too much room to escape her. Even if you ARE more patient with your blinks, you are slower than survivors. You CANNOT afford to spend any more time than you did before the nerf walking around at 97%.
"Why should the nurse be able to move that fast when she is capable of ignoring all defences against suriviors? This isn't a complaint, it is just you wanting her to be like how you want her to play as."
I'd rather keep her at 97% but revert her base kit nerf. If you can't juke Nurse without omegablink, 3/4/5 blink, and reappearing during her blink sooner, then that's entirely on you as a player not being good enough, not on Nurse being overpowered. Right now people want her movement speed to be at least 100% or higher because her power is too weak to be a necessity, but IS a necessity. Stop acting like "ignoring all defenses for survivors" didn't come with a price.
"Moreover, why would the devs monitor her still? There's plenty of gameplay out there to show the new nurse is srill capable of easily getting 3k all games if you know how to use her."
From SOME streamers. If you were in red rank you'd see that she literally disappeared and was replaced with Spirit. She is pretty much not a killer above purple rank anymore.
I play 50/50, played against a Nurse yesterday before I went to work. Oh god the poor thing. She was getting bullied like mad. I could tell she was a good Nurse too. She was P3, had BBQ, Nurses, I'm all Ears, and MYC. Every single time she pulled a godlike play and mindgamed a survivor, she was either flashlighted or a gen popped. There are too many constraints against Nurse right now aimed at making bad survivors more viable against good Nurses, and this made good survivors untouchable against good Nurses. It's sad.
First off, the point was to explain the nerf on nurse, so I don't get the point of your first paragraph.
So you done your calculation, so why don't you calculate how long the chase would be if you land all your hits as Nurse. Also, you are saying it as if the nurse blinks can't catch up with the nurse which is untrue.
For what you said about the suriviors being unable to dodge the nurse doesn't make much sense to me. This is because if you are a good nurse you can put yourself in a position in which there is nothing the surivior can do to dodge. Also, that argument can be used as a way for suriviors to call the nurse a bad for missing there attack.
Nurse's power is too weak? Are we speaking about the nurse that can go through walls and ignore all defences that a surivior has? Capable of not only applying fast chase time, but also capable of applying map pressure?
The reason why people use Spirit is because she is a free, easy win without any challenge. Don't believe me you can just watch Scott jund who made a 2 hours video of him winning constantly as a spirit. He doesn't call himself a skilful nor main spirit which says alot.

Its difficult to touch the nurse without making a mess, but aside from the nerf, I hated the way devs delivered it. They did it like it was an add on change (everyone was fine with that) and then went like "oh, we almost forgot, and a slighty slight basekit change". Those changes got tons of feedback after the PTB and devs didnt say a thing, and they still havent. Like I said in a comment before, a "we're still monitoring her to see how she perfoms" wouldve been better than nice.
I see
