What's worse are the people actually defending those who are abusing this exploit and saying that the people affected by it are in the wrong.
More than 50% of my survivor matches since the update have had killers gunning for the basement. And I know for sure that not everyone is working on that same challenge. They're fully aware of the bug and abusing it to the fullest knowing that they won't get punished for it.

Yeah... anytime you get hooked in the basement, you get sent to the shadow realm. And the majority of killers are abusing this exploit as much as possible. The devs already know about it, and on my own thread, they said it's not bannable apparently.
I just stay on the opposite side of the map from the basement and if I get hooked there, I DC. They can't ban me for trying to avoid a game breaking bug.

Yes, the devs are just oblivious to the issue. They went through the entire testing phase (however long or short it may be) and never once used the basement? That seems pretty oblivious if you ask me.
I fail to see how I'm "screaming". This is a very serious issue that massively affects the game health and the majority of the community (people who play both sides and people who play survivor)
All you're doing now is telling me that you're one of the people who is abusing the exploit.

No... More than 50% of killers right now are going for basement only hooks. I'm 90% sure they aren't all working on that ONE archive challenge either.

If you're talking about when the killer has closed the hatch and you're the last one alive, just go find a hook and accept death.
Sadly, there's nothing you can do against anyone with an IQ higher than 3 at that point.

The same principle existed when hooks remained broken by sabotage.
An area would be cleared of hooks during a match and survivors would run to the area to avoid being hooked since they could escape before the killer could reach a hook.
You say that like there aren't 40+ more hooks all over the place; including directly outside the basement.

That depends... PC or Console?
Some PC players are still getting used to him.
Console players are realizing that he's just an M1 killer due to his power being worthless and unusable there.

Patch notes didn't say anything about massive frame drops when using his power. Nor did they say anything about the lack of sensitivity bar making him unusable with a controller.

A 2k is easy no matter what if that's all you want. Facecamp 1 person for 5 gens, NOED down another. That's why a 2k doesn't mean much at any rank.
A 2k is what the Devs go for. It's the average. 2 live, and 2 die. If I can always get a minimum of 2k a game, then I'm doing exactly as intended.

Mate wraith was just an example, it doesn't matter if you main him or not his perks are pretty worthless.

But Wraith's power isn't worthless. And Legion's perks aren't worthless.
Oni's power is worthless on console. And his perks are just a joke.

If you think Oni is bad, wait till you try and get Wraith or Legion. It's literally hell. Oni apparently got ghost nerfed, so his hitboxes are smaller then they were on PTB. I don't know if it's true or not but that's what I heard.
I already have all other Adepts. Plus, I'm a Wraith main... Wraith is my absolute favorite killer bar none and one of only 3 that I can use to hold my own with at Red Ranks. So no... Wraith isn't hell. I'd much rather get Adept Wraith 100 more times.
As for Legion... Yes, his power is kinda worthless (especially now). But he actually has some good perks (unlike Oni...) that make up for it. So going for the Adept doesn't make you feel perkless.

Hawkins and Lery's are just a bunch of random walls/windows. No lines of sight. They need fixing... But everyone is saying those.
My big pick is Sheltered Woods. It's just a totally flat area with a shack. Not even a pride rock (Balanced Landing is useless here). It honestly looks unfinished.

I'd rather the devs just fix it to make it playable/possible. Buff his perks, let us change sensitivity, and properly optimize it.

I have every version of the game except mobile because I want to support it and hope it gets better. I mainly play on PS4 though because that's where most of my friends are. That hope of mine is on it's last leg...

Can't snowball with Demon Dash unless the survivors all walk in a straight line. No sensitivity means I can barely curve the dash hit 30 degrees. Any missed attacks drop frames to like 5fps.

Oni is unplayable on console with no sensitivity options and his power just dropping frames when lunging.

Im okay with 100% of the changes they made to him.
Especially with having his power meter not go down to 0% when picking someone up.
What I'm NOT okay with is how he's just an M1 killer on console due to not being able to increase sensitivity and poor optimization leading to massive frame drops when using his power.

When he uses his power, just don't run in a straight line and he'll piss himself off by using his power and dropping his frames.

No one uses David's jacket because they'll just get super tunneled for doing so for whatever reason.
I wish I could use it more often.

You don't even need blood warden.
Just kill off two people (mori one if you have to). Let them finish the gens. But follow around one of them. Down them once the gens are done, down the other one, open the gates yourself, then hook them both.

Wraith is easily my favorite killer to play and one of only 3 killers that I can get consistent kills at red ranks with.
That being said, He's also the only one out of those 3 that I don't get a bunch of messages about. People just play and move on when I pick Wraith. This is the first I've heard about any sort of "Wraith Backlash".

Borrowed Time actually working as an anti-camping perk.
Funny survivor running animations.
The lack of the emblem system.
The playstyle the game had before Doc showed up and removed stealth.
Sabo being useful.
Wraith being more used/loved.
Killers having their own special hook designs.
The actual sense of fear.
Light and Darkness offerings.
Brown map offerings.
Perk rarity outside of Purple and Green. (why did that need changed?)
The lack of brown medkits.

RANK Shouldn't Exist

- Adrenaline - Longest sprint time + a heal
- Head On - Gives a chance to stun the killer and hide/get away + 500 points
- Sprint Burst - Most reliable because it can be used in any scenario
- Lithe - Windows are incredibly unreliable, but can be used well if already at a good range from the killer in a chase
- Balanced Landing - Only disabling the stagger once isn't viable enough. Plus, Sheltered Woods disables this perk entirely. (hinting at the map needing a pride rock added or something)
- Dead Hard - The reliability of this perk depends entirely on the Killer connection (console) or server connection (PC). There's too much risk. Not to mention that it's really easy for the killer to bait it out.

Dude... I WISH I deranked for it!
It happens to me every other match and I don't want to rank up and get put in red rank hell anymore. Keep me out of it.
If getting tunneled/camped meant that I would never rank up, I'd be totally okay with it.

I say they should rework the OP killers and then balance from there.
That being said, I thought old nurse and current spirit are fine (apart from prayer beads).
Doc on the other hand, is IMO the second strongest killer in the game, right behind Plague, due to them having little to no counter on their base kits.

Literally stand in the pallet until they hit you, stun them, then use the septic agent to give yourself endurance and do it again.

There's no reason to rank up and put yourself in annoying lobbies.

Only thing to change is to make it so that it can't be activated by the killer for like 5 seconds due to the killer being right next to you when they hook you.

Ever look at a game case? Specifically games that offer online play involving some means of communication.
They say "online interactions not rated" for a reason.
People are people. Words are words. You don't have to like them all. If someone says something you don't like, you can leave the post game chat. Nobody is forcing you to stay and read what they have to say.
Do not blame the Devs over the "actions" of other people. Especially when those "actions" are just mere words.

If I can play in Red/Purple ranks as a Wraith with no Gen related perks and still get 2-4k per match, then so can you.
Even as a survivor in Red/Purple ranks, there are games where only one or two gens get done before 2+ people die.

I still don't get why some people care about ranks. There's no incentive to rank up yet.
Plague is perfect for this because she is horrible at ranking up but such a broken killer that it's piss easy to 4k with her.
DBD is not a competitive game. People just tend to take it more seriously than they should.
Play who you think is fun, not who you think will rank you up in a pointless ranking system.

Wraith main, I don't use Ruin in Purple/Red ranks.
Enduring. Brutal Strength, Spirit Fury, BBQ are all I need. Simple and efficient.
