Spoon is too strong lets not remind survivours of the nurses most broken add on. XD Butter knife add on will do. Grants bonus bp upon hitting a deep wound scoring category.

Audio is being looked at and addressed its around christmas so be patient the devs have families and friends too. Not aiming to be mean. You can help tho by posting any bugs you found on the bug forums area in relation to audio.

I agree, it is annoying when all you can do is countered easily. Legion counters people who just cheekily try to get your attention but on the other hand he has hard time against sneaky players - that's my experience from playing The Legion.
Wait a killer who promotes stealth gameplay and makes it so you have to juke the killer instead of running him around like your pet dog. Devs pls nerf(sarcasm). Seriously its the same with nurse and spirit lose the killer he has a fundamental exploitable weak point of not having scratch marks while in ff.
You cant loop a legion so op is a a pathetic excuse learn to shake killers. Survivors have gotten to use to looping every killer. Now we have a killer who anti loops and its immediately no counter play. I spent a 15 min game consistently shaking a legion by breaking line of sight and hiding around corners and debris while he was in ff.
LOL. You think playing stealthy is juking? Seriously? Playing stealthy just takes a little bit more skill than camping the hook as killer lol.
Dictionary defines stealth as "cautious and surreptitious action or movement."
Dictionary defines juke as "(in sport) make a sham move to mislead an opponent."
To mislead is to escape to escape is to perform an action of stealth the terms match play styles.
Weird you mention camping legion is probably one of the least threatening on hook defense. Not that it matters its a reasonable weakness for the power he has. Honestly camping is such a pathetic entitled survivor term so many killers are built for defense and giving killers ######### for playing to their killers strengths is creatively limiting. Not every killer can cross maps like billy or nurse. -
Its not hacking its likely a bug. Their are a lot of them in dbd too many to count. I have a friend who always says the killer is using wall hacks despite closing a locker door next to the killer passing at a wall. Please dont make these accusation lightly. It hard enough to take some of these accusations seriously.

So let me get this straight you want to make a killer who wins by attrtion as opposed to winning by getting fast downs and excellent play. That does not work in dbd. Their are two killers who were focused on this style of play doc, pig and freddy all are killers who are often at the bottom of tier lists because you can't stall in dbd. You have to act fast getting downs. Snowballing is the key to killer success stall is meaningless.
Ff does need more counterplay yes. But focus on that. My idea for nerfing and buffing ff is to make it so legion cannot see blood in ff as well as having pallet stuns reduce his gauge regardless of whether or not its in use. Make missed hits matter with legion by having a missed hit expend 1/4 of his power bar. Do not make mend anymore oppresive or time consuming then it is as with the green and purple knife add ons that action is frustrating to deal with.
Buffs should be to make a deep wound survivour bleed out whilst in chase. But and this is important make it so it cannot bleed out past 30% whilst in legions tr. Finally I like your idea for improving his duration. Currently his duration does need a buff and your duration speed solution would go along way to helping that.
Final thoughts I do not want another m1 killer who gets a free hit and existence is only to stall untill they win via attrition. That gameplay is historically despised. We have enough m1 killers in the game. Power based killers like legion are more satisfying when using their power. Stop pushing doc and freddy killers stall doesent work you need to improve regression reduce gen time in order for this to work which will only push nurse, billy and other strong killers into an op state. -
Im all for small passive buffs sounds to me like a fun way to differentiate survivour. I get crap anyways when i dont pick a smaller character, this wont change a thing.
Players telling me to pick claudi even tho i have crap perks. Call me lucky but as killer i rarely encounter 4 man of the same survivours and when i do their wearing different cosmetics.
Beside why would you not spread out the expertise of your team by having different characters. One powerful character constantly picked for their benefit would be bad game design not a strike against the idea of giving survivours unique traits.
-
Is this bait?
So where to start
1. gg ez is the term used by every egocentric players its never one side if your telling me you never met a survivor who also went gg ez then i want your survivours.Ds kinda promotes killers to hunt other targets that arent carrying it. Which often results in a killer targeting the person off the hook instead of going after the obssesion. If you take a ds regardless of whether or not your behind i question your legitimacy as a killer player. Slugging ds and dribbling is the best solution right now.
Console players are still new to the advanced mechanics a survivour can use to survive. So mechanics like camping and tunneling will not be as important. Camping and tunneling mind you are tools in a killers kit. You dont need em for every game but if players are trying to rush hooks or are making bad saves you need to punish that misplay by downing the unhooked or force them to bodyblock.
My advice dont ever listen to a killer main or survivour main listen to the players who play both. They will give you the fairest assesment of the game and its problems.
-
Farm maps are utter trash for killer. Corn is the least of your problems the loops allow for zero mindgames as you can see the killer through the walls and their are little to no pallet loops that arent safe. These maps meed a rework espicially if your myers your power should work in corn.

Ok so I play both survivor and killer on xbox. 500 hours, about 300 to survivor and about 200 to killer (198 to every single other one and 2 to Nurse with games where I got abused). And I switched to PC since Xbox got boring rank 1 was easy to get to and it was ridiculous how overused killers like Myers were
. So I played a little survivor and decided to try out Nurse, my only perk was a nurses calling, no addons and I 4 manned in the Asylum with only 1 blink missed and then I 3 manned in the Shelter woods (Last guy got hatch due to the hatch spawning when I slugged them because exit gates were open, almost got him tho ^^). I had no addons and I dont get why faster turning and better frames make her so easy to use. I literally watched 1 nurse guide telling me to zigzag blink (Ardetha's guide on YT) and other things and I find her so easy? Am I naturally good at her or is she easy to play on PC. I have more struggles playing Trapper lol. Btw PC community is so nice I love it here ^^.idk your asking in the survivor area not the killer
This post is irrelevant now, I've got my results ages ago, she's as hard as Hag. A slightly above average killer can master her. Spirit is the hardest killer.
Wait what? You know at high tier play you have to deal with survivors constantly breaking line of sight and movement needs to be done via blink so you have to read your opponents more consistently then spirit. If your in doubt you can always walk to a direction as spirit and you will catch up and then phase when in a better position to guess. Nurse is very easy to lose if the player is still optimizing blink paths and making smart calls on survivor movements. Her mechanics are pinpoint, accurate and demand good reflexes. If as spirit you phase to a good location but are not in range of the survivor you can still probably score a hit before they reach a vault or pallet. I definitely think nurse is hard but when in high ranks blind blinking will be a true test of your skill also baiting dead hard's are tricky on nurse.
-
No he wouldn't. Billy still has an instadown which allows him to snowball better, spirit can easily outplay survivours better faster and with more stealthy approach and legion would not have the defense hag has that makes her strong. He might be able to compete but he wont be able to top them as speed at downing will require first eating a stun and giving the survivour a mini sprint and second his last hit would have to be done playing pallet mindgames which nearly every mid tier killer struggles with.Poweas said:@Master said:

He'd be stupidly overpowered. Nobody would even use the power for anything other then travelling or getting 1 hit on everyone. If they were even just a little bit faster, they'd be able to close the gap after using frenzy and taking the stun.I ask you one thing.
Do you believe that legion with 115% would be stronger than nurse? I doubt that personally
I never said he would. But if he had 115% ms then he'd outshine Hag, Billy and Spirit.
Using his power to catch up wont be that great on a lot of tiles and even if this change made him strong he would be no different then wraith who last i checked was low mid tier. -
Notice you didnt mention exit gates glad the devs didnt pick up on an obvious problem. The devs should make it that this penalty is removed at exit gates or allow the killer to mori at exit gate so i dont lose points for securing a kill when the gates are wide open.Ihatelife said:There is one from emblems:

Killers getting bullied dosent really happen in high ranks. If anything toxic squads are fine by me makes for a way easier game as i don't have to seek em out. They come to me. Gen rush squads on the other hand end games with the click of a finger its absurd. My gripes is with toolboxes and great skill checks the progression a survivours gets off greats give a massive amount of additional progression once you get really good at them.SenzuDuck said:@Spiritbx said:

Because killers can't accept that they suck.
I've lost count of the number of times I've been playing solo and the killer gets salty as accuses us of being swf.
Tbh they could be asking just because they face a lot of SWF. After every game, no matter how it went, I always ask if the team was SWF when I play Spirit since SWF is all I face.
They don't ask, they straight up accuse. Hell I've seen killers get a 3k and then throw a strop and say we were swf and it was unfair.
They really only will accept a 4k.
You must play mostly survivor. You know, just because survivors throw the game doesnt mean it was fair or fun.
If someone uses a motorcycle in a relay race, but crashes in the end , that doesnt mean it was fair for them to use a motorcycle.
Get bullied by a tryhard swf group and you will see that its just no fun playing against them. From what I've seen, good killers don't get bullied.
Some killers need buffs particularly pig, freddy, doctor and to some extent leatherface. Most of them have major issues with their power not having much of a mindgame at loops with obvious weaknesses tjat people can exploit or require really specific add ons to be viable. Which kill the diversity in killer builds.

Funny the killers i encounter who say gens get done too fast are the one who are in constant chases. Never seen full on hard camp killer complain about gen speed. I ve said it before and I'll say it again dont increase gen time but instead make it so after hooking all 4 survivours the killer can mori one survivour.The_Crusader said:Killers: *Sits next to hook*
Also killers: "gEnS gEt DoNe 2 fAsT"
That or have a ruin like effect or action speed gen penalty for the first 60 seconds of the game. So killers like hag, trapper and myers have some prep time for set up and dont have to immediatly surrender ruin and 2 gens to set some traps down.
Currently killers get punished really hard fo allowing unhooks even if your downing survivours fast you will lose unless you snowball or make unhooks hard. Reward chse focused killer players so every killer dosent have to conform to a patrol killer playstyle. -
I mean your down one perk vs a freddy thats hardly a problem. If anything your self care gets a massive buff allowing you to escape the killer easily or at the very least let you prolong the chase.DrKnockers05 said:

There are so many perks that get stronger around freddy for example unbreakable and adrenaline take you out of the dream state. When your against freddy provided no one messes up really badly its practically a free win. -
Freddy counters distortion! Freddy meta incoming. Soon the squadettes of dbd will cower in fear of knife hand joes mighty presence. No one will be able to hide from freddy.
But seriously if you struggle to loop a freddy i have no idea how i could make freddy weak enough that you could win against him. Hiding from freddy is a waste of time and pointless just loop his basic killer ass. -
Priority list
1. Hook states death hook survivours get focused.
2. Positioning close to a pallet less likely to target or in the open more easier to target.
3. Health state injured targets throw down pallets faster and are more prone to cracking under pressure.
4. Previous chases with that survivour if they loop well leavem till last.
5. Obssesion ds eats too much time and creates an additional chase. Always target non obssesion or slug the obssesion.
If the game is goingg very poorly for survivours. Ill spread my hooks out to give em more of a chance but if gens are getting done and ruin is down well i cant afford to play nice. -
The penalty was unnecessary and thankfully has low impact. Because i cant stand the fact that i get penalised for securing a kill when the gates are wide open. I have seen so many of these posts and when I see people complaining about camping in situations where your options are ridiclously limited well I dont tend to have a lot of patience for it.Poweas said:They already got a penalty. @Zarathos don't be rude I don't think they understand it well.
Its the same story everytime. Camping is unfun chase me to the door because i know you cant get me. You want me to move bait me away from the survivour away from an open gate or leave. Here's an idea have the door shut in 60 seconds if you dont leave so ill have a reason to continue chasing. -
Exit gates open killer camps to secure a kill. Immobilising the killer because they literally cant down or hook anyone else is a disgrace. Also I could massively abuse this by looping the killer around the hooked survivour. Then have someone rescue the hooked player which would stun the killer. Even if they were in chase with me.
Before suggesting an idea like this play killer first and then think before you make an awful exploitable suggestion. -
Honestly the only thing that frustrates me about killer is some of the mid tier killers having weak powers that need adjusmltments.
Pigs dash should have further reach and not require two add ons to be viable. Docs stun is unreliable and works on very few loops. Huntress needs to play a very campy playstyle as crossing the maps at 4.4 ms is painful. Leatherface saw cannont be used at loops to mindgame which is a massive oversight. I wont bother describing freddys problem but at least their fixing his kit. Just make sure devs you give him something for mindgaming loops better instead of just playing basic fundamental mindgames.
Dont get me wrong you can win as these killers. Its just their viability drops considerably which makes playing these killers in high ranks a coin flip on whether the survivours know how to play around your power. I dont think a killer should beat a survivour straight up with their power but like spirit allow a lot more killer input via power usage to get hits.
-
Hags nature as a killer is to confine survivours to your trapped locations. Which often involves baiting players using hooked survivours. You are not suppose to chase with the hag. Your playing a defensive orientated killer if hag wasnt built for defense she wouldn't have 4.4 ms and she wouldn't spend so much time planting traps. Spread your traps out yes but hooked survivours are your bait if ever your back chasing survivours you have messed up.
Survivours need to secure the escape routes for players and put pressure on gens to move the hag. Trap disarment should be done whilst the hag is carrying a survivour is being transported. Maps and flashlights are excellent resources for dealing with the hags traps. -
My problem with wglf is its unreliable and is the only perk that allows a survivour to double their bp gain. Maybe wglf shouldnt be adjusted to grant gen tokens but if thats not the case then another perk which might be determination or light waker could have a similar set up with objectives being rewarded instead.
If you want too promote survivors slowing the game down you could require 5 stacks with a max of a 100% bonus in bp gain with totems being another means to gain a stack. Thus increasing a games length as it encourages destruction of dull totems.
Nothing turns me off dbd more then entering a dbd game and having a survivour farm me with bt and then when i ask them why i get "sry bro need my wglf stacks" . I mean i see why most killers are happy with wglf current setup it makes their job easier as it allows killers to eliminate a player earlier with ease. I know this because I constantly encounter this as killer and it swings the game so dramtically in my favour its ridiclous. -
I got a glass splinter from my pig bloodweb. Like behaviour pls.
-
Im on board with giving survivors more scoring categories seems pretty reasonable to me. I suggested revamping survival so player got less points for escaping but would be able to gain survival points for any action they do that contributes to the progress the team makes to getting gens and doors open, keeping the team alive, and containing the killer.The_Trapper said:@Zarathos said:

I don't know mate. I don't enjoy doing 4k anymore. I don't care about this since it has been the graal thing suggested by toxic aka "competitive" killers like Truetalent. I just enjoy playing funny killers like Huntress, spirit and succeeding without doing low "strat" like tunneling, hard patrolling or noed.

People dont want to play killer and zero kill unless they know they were the ones who messed up. A 0k indicates you played badly a 2 k means average a 3k is well played and a 4k is a perfect game. Same goes for most survivours where escape is a victory for most survivorus or the very least they got their friend out.
Playing to entertain survivours is apprently what is supposed to be the norm even though if you do this it means no hitting survivours after they have recently been hooked so free saves more hands on gens, faster gamesel etc. Also no patrolling so you have to go hunt survivours in the distance who have your tr to aware them to hide and opens up a lot of easy saves.
Nothings is wrong with patrolling or tunneling dbd is a team game if you allies arent helping you get out or arent pressuring the killer to leave by doing gens tuats a failure of the team. If i want to draw killer away from a hooked survivour I will do a gen close by too make the killer leave if they dotn we do gens and leave. Killer depips and we all move on to other games.
I had a game as clown where I wanted to see if playing by the survivour rules how well i would do. Which ended in a 1k where every chase was ended fast and all survivours were two hooked. So ya if you think your playstyle will net you kills it wont even in perfect game survivor rules will screw you.
I agree with most of what you said, which lets me elaborate on a previous point I made.
As a killer it is very unsatisfying to not get a 3/4k, as the killer your real objective should be to kill the survivors. You're not much of a killer if your objective is just to 'beat up the survivors but not too badly' for the sake of some ingame currency. Granted however, that having more BP than the survivors does make it less annoying but it would REALLY suck if we had to truly take much credit for getting more BP.
Survivours always complain about bp but i reckon its not the killers job to make it so you get a load of points. Behaviour have to adjust survival as
A. You cant reach the cap of 8000 regardless of how well you play.
B. Losing 5000 points just because you died even though you contributed masively to the teams success is frankly unacceptable.

Exactly like billy you will experiance a proper challenge as you climb. Stridor isn't gonna do crap vs iron will the default perk any survivour should use due to spirit, nurse even other killers. As for bloodhound this when the challenge ramps up controlling your blood by taking turn and moving across windows to obscure your trail. If legion is cautious you cant shakem but if he will be spend significant time following your trail buying your team time to finish gens.Jago said:@zarathos Tracking is ok, you got eyes, brain, and if that isn't enough you just can use Stridor / Bloodhound.

And how did the time waster idea work out for the pig. Compare her to spirit where they buffed the power to be lethal and you see which is the better killer. A killers power thats lethal focused has consistently shown to be way more powerful then a power that provides utility or time wasting. The best killers have powers that are focused on mobility or killing. There is no room for any utility based powers if you want a competitive killer. The game is to short for docs and pigs to be messing with traps and shocks that dont meaningfully help with killing.touchpadgamer said:@fluffybunny
The movement/map pressure with an always-on Feral Frenzy would be insane... I think the FF tracking is too accurate to have all game as well; completely obliterates any stealth strats. It'd sure be interesting tho. I also think base speed could be brought up to default and that wouldn't break the game...@Zarathos
I don't think Legion necessarily NEEDS to be more lethal. I also see Legion's ability as primarily, a time-waster kind of like the Pig's Reverse Bear Traps. The power makes it easy to hit and find clumps of survivors and force them to waste time mending while one target is chased down. Perhaps instead of trying to make FF more lethal, maybe make it better at time-wasting? Or ideally, a perfect balance of both xD
If you dont want a competitive killer well i hope you don't mind the rank system matching you with competitive players because you play killers to a good standard. I could live with a crap legion if the game atmosphere wasnt always hyper competitve so untill they change the atmosphere of this game to be less sweaty tryhard i will expect my killers to be competitve.
Freddy doc and pig power capabilites are wasted on delay tactics thats why they are all low tier and for the most part crap. Even pigs best add ons are the dash attacks with her bear traps being terrible. Dbd needs either new modes or a meta shift with added objectives to make these killers a good pick. Hell even a casual queue would make playing some of these killers more bearable.
Im sorry if i come across as rude it just feels like were gonna make a freddy of legion and I don't want to see behaviour mess it up again. -
With good reason. Have you played vs an optomised swf as leatherface hes pathetic. Leatherface is my favourite killer to go against since i can loop him all day consequnce free. His saw is utter garbage in the chase and is countered by vaults and basic pallet looping. If your argument is "billies op leather is the level billy should be at" your wrong.The_Crusader said:

honestly, if they would just make his MS 100% when he's holding his chainsaw rev, instead of what appears to be 95%, it would fix him for me. It kinda prevents you from holding it to use at a good time.
When he revs his chainsaw, his speed is decreased to 87.5%
That is horrible, and counters the small speed boost he gets from running. Why do they do ######### like that?
To balance him?
It's the risk/reward of the chainsaw. It's harder ro pull off, and the slowdown makes it so that you can't hold forever, once it's charged you need to use it pretty quick otherwise the survivor will run ahead. But the reward is an instadown.
Why can Billy move so much faster then?
However they can't adjust him now because the killer playerbase would throw an immense tantrum.
Any survivour worth their salt knows how loopable a leatherface is and his power does nothing in the chase. No matter what you do his saw will not reach you at a loop which makes him a crap killer. The only time he ever becomes good is with spirit fury enduring. That right with two specific perks he becomes viable yay that or basements builds which are dull.
I love one dimensional killers with limited build options. The first build is assuming they play into spirit fury. The second build is just not fun you don't get to chase or do any crazy plays besides basementing and camping.
So why would i as a leatherface play a non basement orientated build if I don't have spirit fury and enduring. Give me a reason to chase. Give me the tools and kit to compete with survivours and only then can we move leatherface away from basement, camping playstyles. Or don't leave him as is encourage basement, camping leatherfaces. -
So first thing with tracking, legion has a significant disadvantage with tracking with his frenzy denying him scratch marks increasing the likelihood of him losing targets if the survivours are smart and can juke the killer using the enviroment around them to force them to guess your movements.Jago said:You can't be good at Legion.
You can be good at killer, tracking, priorizing objectives, slugging etc...
But Legion has no counter play. This killer isn't skill relevant.
Your performance gonna be influenced by
- How wide is the map (if you can't hit multiple survivors and have to have a tunnel vision, then it gonna be add on influenced)
- How survivors react to legion (if they heal, they waste time, if they gen rush, you're [BAD WORD])
- Add ons (Frank mixtape and CD reduction. Basically you end each chase in less that 20 sec without any mind game or counter play on the other side)
If you're bad a tracking, it's not legion related.
Bad at priorizing and lacking on broken "playstyle" aka camping + Noed, it's not Legion related.
Be a good killer first. Then you'll see Legion is actually broken and boring. (for both sides)
The problem i encounter with
survivours when it comes to fighting against legion is survivours do not make an effort to shake em despite the fact that legion wont be able to see your scratch marks or is stuck in the stun animation whilst propeling you forward after being hit.
This is where a more advanced knowledge 9f the killers is necessary to perform well in higher ranks. I could argue billy requires no skill which early ranks ya his skill level is low but once we hit high ranks survivours efforts to deny you saws is what you have to fight against which demands proper reads.
If i could make a change with legion to enable additional counterplay it would be stuns deplete his power irregardless of whether its active or available for use. So now the legion becomes a matador style killer. If survivours drop the pallet on you as legion you are stunned and your power is inactive until it recharges. If they drop it early legion can strike you by hoping over the pallet.
Make it so a survivour begins bleeding out whilst being chased but the bar stops at 30% allowing for a down with his ability. Whilst in legions terror radius. This means survivours will have time to lose legion or find a pallet to stun him if he goes for the downing blow.
While legion is in killer instinct the duration of his power is doubled (you enter this mode after hitting a fresh target who is not suffering from deep wounds.) This makes it so legion can spread his damage out more often. -
Laurie only strikes myers at the climax of the movie twice. Did you even watch Halloween? By your logic as freddy I should have omnipotent god powers and be able to teleport and use your fears to kill you. For instance when chasing bill I should have all the special infected powers from left 4 dead. But we don't do this because it would be broken.Arroz said:First of all, if you nerfearan that can only be used at the end of the game would lose the essence of the movie
And it stops being a cry and learns to play, and ds is part of the game .. and you're a little closed mind, we are talking about 2nd chance skills, I'm not interested if you use the latter are equal 2nd opportunity.. JUST EQUIP ENDURING WOAH
Also who the sam hill bought halloween dlc for lauries ds only. It also contains myers one of the best mid tier killers in the game who is by far the most beloved of all the killers in the game.
A single survivour perk should not warrant mass use if enduring on all killers in a lottery progression system. Besides enduring doesent counter ds unless they are in the open which any survivor worth their salt wont allow.
Make it increase pallet stuns with a cooldown of 50 seconds. This would make it perfect for skillfully increasing the length of time a killers is in chase -
Buffing a killers base is more important then buffing perks. With the current bloodweb system if you don't have the right perks your ability to perform well is limited. If your like me have all the teachables offten you will have garbage perk options like lightborn or beast of prey on a killer like leatherface who desperatly needs spirit fury and endiring against solid survivours who know how to loop efficiently.
Each killer needs some form of excellent chase mindgame advantage. Leathers saw for instance should not have as obnoxious a slow down when charging. That way you can eliminate pallets more efficiently without the obvious start up problems.
Docs charge time on shock needs to be reduced so you can better mindgame pallets as currently the shock is not useable at all on a lot of tiles.
Pig needs to have her ambush have the same cd as a normal hit and at base have its stats increased so video tapes and leather straps are not mandatory.
Note many of these changes are aimed at elevating the low tier killers. When you buff perks you potentially make killers like nurse, billy more stronger which is exactly the problem.
Tldr dont buff perks it only make high tier killers stronger which are already balanced.

Distortion is messing my ######### up against bbq highly recomend it if you love stealth gameplay.

The problem with legion is not getting the first hit its chaining hits with a duration that is awful for its intended use leaving players with no choice but to strike twice the same target.
The lethality of his power is what needs to be buffed as legions who arent running the purple addons that reduce required hits tend to be struggling massively compare to those that are. They should have legions default required hits be 3 and rework franks so its does something else so it cant drop any lower.
Perhaps franks tape extends the max duration of feral frenzy for each target stabbed is increased until its is put on cooldown. Just a thought in how to rework it so he dosent down in two hits as that would be way to powerful. -
Pallet stuns are brutal on legion it drains his entire bar and he has to sit there like a lemon until his power recharges or chase you as a 110% killer which is hillarious.
Do not miss the pallet stun if you do he wins and gets a free hit. While in frenzy legion can't see scratch marks use this against him by taking turns at pathways with two sides after breaking line of sight. Sometimes you can stop in at a corner and he will pass you since he wont have scratch marks to let him know hes gone too far.
Finally iron will is almost a staple in every survivour build. Imo its the ruin of survivours it allows you to juke killers and screws with a killers auditory tracking which is brutal against spirit, nurse and legion. Be wary of your blood trail tho it will give you away if the killer has blood hound or if you didnt get enough distance from the killer.
As stated above use your exhaustion perk. When hes frenzying to deny him a hit. Dead hard is very weak against legion unless you can reliably bait legion into stuns with the pallet. Bait legions into chasing you while you have sprint burst/lithe/balanced landing prepared and then zip away to make him use uo his power. If your plan is to loop em all game then thats not gonna happen unless the legion players is really bad the devs designed his frenzy so its easier for him to lose surviours so take advantage of it.
But if you want the ultimate hard counter legion build iron will, no mither, resiliance and finally sprint burst/lithe. This killer is weak asf but if survivours dont learn how to lose legion when he starts getting buffed hes gonna feel op. -
Decisive strike empower your strikes against killers with greater force. Pallet stuns will inflict and additional 3 seconds stun. This ability has a cooldown of 40,45,50 seconds. This will help counter enduring and spirit fury combo and allow a survivour to gain some distance. At clutch moments to prolong chases.
This fits ds players playstyles perfectly allows you to loop more effectively which suits their playstyle. -
I love how this game create such a unique and intimate experiance. Just chillin on a hook with your friendly neighbourhood killer sharing a few cold ones. Damn now I want a king of the hill, dead by daylight parody.Master said:@Zarathos said:

they/them will be fuming for the rest of the night.Or alternatively leave lobby. The only time I'll go easy on ya is if theres only 2 or 3 players in game in which case im a lot more forgiving and will give one player hatch. Other then that make smart saves and dont expect me to relinquish hook pressure too easily.
If I finally catch a toxic survivor (clicky clicky DS etc), then its time to enjoy a cold beer while relaxing under the hook, watching him waving his arms in panic mode

Noed and ds power level in comparision to other perks is insane. The reason people frown on these perks is that unlike most other perks of this power level you never earn its use through excellent play. Compare it to devour hope or deliverance heck even adrenaline requires the survivor last until exit gates.
All these perks provide crazy powers but have awkward requirements that can be tricky to fulfill. Noed is a reward for not playing well as killer. Ds is the same premise. One can argue with the meta of the game its hard to knock a killer for using noed.
Gens get done extremely fast and killers only need one bad chase too often lose the game. For survivour being hooked once can often be all it takes to ensure your dead and it is a nasty feeling to only have two or maybe even one hit to try and win.
But despite all that I cant in good concious run these perks. Im not playing into this arms race of running blatantly poorly designed unfair perks because the game is imbalanced and my opponets are using unfair perks as well. Which is why players frown upon others who take the easy way out. This is not someone who mains billy or nurse no even as freddy i could never agree to running noed.
I do have a clause for running noed. If you want to run it for an end game build commit to it don't slap on ruin just so you can min max your build and for the love of god don't face camp a player so their is one less player in the late game. You know who you are.

Legion gets hate because people who love his look are disapointed with his gameplay. Most killers want to do what the title suggests kill. I swear some people who complain hes a tunnel machine annoys me the most his power makes him one of the easiest killers to lose i. e. he can't see scratch marks. The games i have played against him felt embarrasingly easy. Its so easy to mess with their pov when their vaulting pallets any exhaustion perk - dead hard can easily break legions comboing feral frenzy.
Good buffs are coming on the way but the reason legion or any killer tunnels its because their desperatly trying to win and are hoping by removing one player they have a chance.
Tldr legion sucks as a killer so he tunnels same reason freddy is famous for tunneling. -

I never willl let a survivour off unless its a
3 v 1 which means a survivour gets a free hatch or a 2 v 1 in which case do the gens and leave. Other then those situations i will be killing.
Bad unhooks get punished because otherwise survivours will never learn how to make proper saves. So if i dont punish survivours they will get used to unhooking close to the killer screwing my survivour games if i decide to play survivour later on.
-
Thats not even considering if the surviours has sprint burst bl or lithe rdy. This has been such a problem for me that often i only get chain hits around potatoes who try to hide (why? ) or hook saves. Also maps being big can seriously limit chain hits.
Which is why his best build is having the purple add ons that down in three hits with power. You suffer fatigues only once and the last strike will down the target and suffer fatigue which dosent really matter. Do not use both purple stab wound study and frank mix tape add ons you only need one to down in 3 hits of his power. -
Ok well if thats the case. Id argue spirit preys heavily on swf altruism as players even on coms can't spot when shes going back to a save or chasing the player which makes her ridiclously strong and allows to gain momentum and snowball potential much faster.PigMainBigBrain said:@Zarathos said:
I would recomend allowing ticking of multiple categories as many players will preference ticking what their good at as opposed to what their weak with.I thought about doing that at first but the poll is aimed at finding out who your main is, and if you do well vs SWF vs if you don't. If I had allowed multiples which I was about to do, it would skew the results. Since its aimed at finding out which killers are doing well vs swf vs the ones that do poorly. If you don't play a character most of the time aka main it the natural experience vs SWF groups may differ vs the person who has 10,000 freddy games. But that isn't to say that persons input is invalid, I made this forum post and a reddit post where you can leave your commentary and experiences with killers etc.
Hopefully I can spread this around a bit and get a bit more individual input.

Where did i say this? 🤔LCGaster said:@Zarathos said:

but you got all 4 so what are you so whiny about? It's still free speech. If you didn't camp then you didn't if you are sure you didn't distance camp you know yourself you didn't. Thats in this case enough.I wasn't whining, I was just telling a story

Dont think a two killer mode would work. Map design would make it impossible to do any decent chase. Which is necessary for buying time to get enough gens.
-

These are some cool ideas but stealth always kind of suffers in high ranks. There are so many maps that are just terrible for stealth in which case you are gonna be very much relying on your power
His duration could do with an increase not a massive increase just an 3 or 4 seconds. Then mend also needs to be about 2-3 seconds longer as otherwise survivours mend very fast unless you have a knife add on.
Something needs to be done about his base stance 100% agree. Either tr reduction and no red stain or 115%/4.6 ms he needs something for loops as his ability isnt cutting it. Unless your using franks mix tape or the stab wound study. -
Just rework ds to increase pallet stun duration with a cooldown of 50 seconds. It will be a nice counter to spirits fury enduring combo and it will give killers less of a reason to tunnel a non obssesion player over chasing the ds player.
Seriously ds does more harm to your team when a killers is playing around it for example chasing an unhooked survivour over going for the ds player. I don't get why 90% of ds players will screw their team over just to cover there own ass. Are ds players just antimates in general?
Its is harmful to both killer and survivour games. Promoting tunneling and motivating killers to be toxic. But hey you got your escape you got out who cares if you mess over your team.
