Yes, since it was designed so that the final survivor has a chance to escape. It was literally designed JUST for that last survivor. However I don't see it as much of a problem, keys just need to be nerfed is all.
-
I don't think BHVR realizes that making the game playable and bugless would bring players back into the game, quite a bit actually.

I agree it's super anti-climactic, but it's a massive upgrade.
There are a lot of tiles (including a lot of common tiles) that are not playable with a 5 meter range, but are playable with 6.
While the extra meter may actually be very useful, the sheer amount of effort you put into trying to go into tier three without addons is terrible. There should be something worthwhile you get out of it other than just a one meter increase in your attack.
-
A big issue I have with him is his tier 3. Wow, so much work for... 1 extra meter of my m2? There really is no point in trying to get it.
-
Yeah, yet ANOTHER disappointment from BHVR. Really sad dude, this is RE we are talking about, and BHVR couldn't even give us a good killer for this franchise. But hey, at least we got Claire and Chris for legendary skins right?
Honestly, the only reason I am going to get the new chapter is because of the perks, not the killer.
-
A killer with amazing potential, but probably will never be reworked or given the right changes to become a good killer.
-
Because it isn't. It is poor map design, survivor spawns, and weak killers that make you think that gens are going to fast.
-
Imagine committing a federal crime just because you got laid out in a game.
-
I thought this was common knowledge the day Nemesis was revealed.

Worst game I have had in a while regarding low frames. The survivors, surprisingly, seemed to be good sports in the end game chat though.

What would you think about this perk concept i found on reddit? i think it'd be a good counter against the exposed status.

Too strong, even if it has a long cooldown. It would always guarantee a survivor having 2 health states even against killers with insta down potential.
On top of dead hard it would just suck to have to deal with as killer.

I guess you're welcome? lol. This whole thing + planning + research + everything else took me roughly around 5-6 hours. Started around 10 PM last night, went on for about 4 hours then finished the rest in this morning.
You could still make a post of your own, the more voices out there, the better, after all.
Edit; Typo
Yeah, I have done that sort of thing before, not the whole research part tho which is probably what I am missing to make a really good thread like this. But I think I will just let you have the spotlight this time around.
-
What I would like to see:
- Some perk buffs/changes
- Some killer tweaks
- News of a new killer rework
- All that good stuff
What we will probably get:
- Some killer nerfed for literally no reason with no real explanation
- More bugs and even worse performance
- New skins for BHVR to make even more money off of
- All the things we expect from BHVR at this point

I have been advised to wait until after Tuesday, which is likely when the hotfix patch will drop.
This will allow me to more accurately represent the state of the game.
Video game journalists? This is interesting, we are about to make a news article about these issues? lol
-
Phew, was about to actually get started on a long post about the same things, thanks for making this so I don't have to lol it is probably better than what I could make anyway.

It needs to be changed, not nerfed.
-
That's his credibility statement.
-
They don't, if a killer plays "scummy" then the killer will only get up to 15000 bloodpoints.
-
None of them do.
-
I have also noticed that the optimization is worse now, it is pretty sad honestly. The devs have definitely seen this post, they are deliberately ignoring it.

Cool,BHVR always knows how to outdo themself in the worst way possible 👏
Labor of Love btw
ugh, don't remind me of that.

no but if they only hit you with power you are going form one mend to annoter pretty fast and its become really annoying
Not even a mediocre Legion would use their feral frenzy repeatedly like that.
-
Zombies need their A.I fixed, but as for ruin it shouldn't really be changed. How totems and hex totems work in general should be changed.
-
-
Killer - 2k against hard team as decently strong killer and below = win
Killer - 4k = win
Killer - 0-2k = loss but is debateable depending on the circumstances (weak killer vs strong team, decent killer on bs map)
Survivor - escape = win
Survivor - die but do a lot = win
-
or you could just turn off your music

Tentacle can cause gen regression, done.
That would do literally nothing.
-
I would refrain from nerfing one of the weakest killers in the game any further.
Literally just play better, the Legion are just m1 killers with no power once you are injured.
-
You do realize this would do nothing right? This would massively buff killers.
In your idea, this is what would happen:
- The killer finds a survivor
- The killer downs and hooks a survivor
- The killer sees another survivor via BBQ
- The killer chases that survivor
- The other survivor that was on a gen goes for a rescue
- The killer is in a winning position because no one is on gens
See the major flaw in your idea?
This wouldn't even stop tunneling and camping either.

I’ve changed my tune. I hated the chapter upon release. Now I love Twins. They’re very well designed.
But they are good at slugging and camping.
-
Look up to avoid anything that blinds
-
Not sure if anyone has told you this Sluzzy, but survivors have always been killing themselves on hook and disconnecting from matches. There isn't really a reason for them to do it more often at the moment.

Why Devs not do it ?

Because that would not do much. Adding zombies won't fix anything, especially since the A.I for them isn't exactly good.

What happened was players realized they could camp easier as wraith by ge hook , whereas ghostie camped but stalked from behind a bush. Plus tru3 and his odd fan base have declared wraith top tier so all the tweens are playing him now.
Wraith could camp before his speed buff just as effectively, the speed buff did not affect this.
-
ugh not this again
-
And give survivors an even more powerful endgame? No thank you, the perk was nerfed for a reason and needs no further changes as of this moment.
-
I would say it is pretty good for the most part actually, the real ugly skin is the Jonathan Byers one.
-
I thought it was just me, it is pretty annoying.
-
They don't.
-
BHVR is already in a peculiar spot right now, and then they do this.

I dont understand you mate. You basically said counters to spirit and still refuse to accept it. This is why I mentioned that it didn't matter if I listed counterplays because people will just say yeah that works on her well but thats not counterplay. The point looping any killer is so your team mates can finish the gens. Its a 4v1 not a 1v1. Theres no point in continuing a conversation if you're not willing to at least acknowledge that she has some counterplay. The only thing I believe she needs fixing is the stand still mind game. That way you know when she's phasing.
There isn't, I literally just explained why there isn't and provided good logical reasons.

It depends on the tiles. If its a good loop like a jungle gym the spirit has to guess which way youre vaulting certain loops like tl walls are always tricky but you can definitely confused her.
Double backing and crouching are always a good strat. Its been proven again and again that it works not every spirit is this pro e sports spirit. Its a good way to counter her whether you think so or not.
Idk why you mentioned slow vaulting twice. If she has her power theres a chance she's gonna catch up to you. When she doesn't have her power you can loop her pretty well since she's 110%. Plus vaulting and slow vaulting back will confuse her.
There's also dropping pallets early or baiting the pallet by making her think you're standing in it.
It works for me. Ive gone against red rank spirits and strategies like this have helped me in the past. Let me guess you also don't think gunslinger has counterplay too?
Spirit players most of the time are running addons at any rank, this makes those tiles a lot less safer. If she uses her phase in short bursts around them she can still easily get a good hit on the survivor.
Double backing and crouching are not good strategies unless you are up against a spirit who is still new to the game. It isn't even that hard to avoid this as spirit, you can easily just un-phase or listen to their breathing. It really doesn't take that much, just turn your headphones up.
Slow vaulting is not a counter though, it may confuse a spirit and make her make a mistake, but that is not a counter. if the spirit is using her power very well, in short bursts, she will almost always have her power ready so you will not be able to loop her that long. The spirit making a mistake is not counterplay either. Slow vaulting is still just the survivor guessing what the spirit will do during her phase.
Dropping pallets early is the only somewhat decent thing you can do against her because it forces her to guess as well, but that itself isn't necessarily a counter to her phasing, as she can just break the pallet and continue the chase.
Slow vaulting or doubling back might work against an inexperienced spirit player, but not at the high ranks. A spirit who even somewhat knows what she is doing can easily deal with this. Even if it works, it is not counterplay as you are just guessing. That's all it is with spirit, guessing.
And please, I know deathslinger has counterplay.

It would make it so that they both know where each other are. The noise wouldn't be directional, and it wouldn't always be on.
I loved playing against her when this bug was a thing, and I liked playing her more because it felt like survivors could actually do something.
Didn't it severely hurt the spirit though? Like, the survivors always knew where she was, doesn't that severely hurt spirit? I still think there is a better approach to fix this.

Same thing with people who say she doesn't have counterplay. I could list all the counterplay she has with pallets, double back, slow vaults etc but people like yourself will never change their mind. Theres not point in talking to someone like yourself if you already said "she does not have counterplay". To me thats just a lazy excuse.
Well allow me to break down why the listed "counters" you just brought up and rectify my "lazy excuse".
- You didn't elaborate on the pallets, but I assume you meant slow vaulting them like windows, but you can be heard vaulting them and the spirit can just whip back around to smack you.
- Doubling back is useless against any decent spirit since she can literally hear your breathing and/or footsteps. All you are doing is just walking into her, this is not a counter.
- Slow vaults can be heard no matter what and a spirit player can use her phase-walk to catch you, and these are also very predictable as well. This is not a counter.
You didn't even try to defend and explain your argument.

I am unsure how to respond to this, but this is exactly what I expect from late night YT sprees.
