Lolz Wow, this is great!
Totally thought you were being facetious when I first started reading your post what with the guns an drugs an all!
Drugs!? Lol 😄 No Drugs!!! omgz
You’ve most likely sharpened the blades of the majority of killer mains out there, as I’m sure they’ll want to cut into you for this one.
You put so much effort into this idea, an it’s absolutely awesome!
Probably never going to see the light of day in DBD, but it’s SO worth a nod from the devs for the amount of creativity you gave it.
Looking from both sides, I’d have FUN (something that’s been long since forgotten due to the unfortunate competitive induced toxicity of this game), Lots of Fun, using this on killer’s and having it used on myself as a killer!
Wish you were a dev an made this weaponry a actual thing in DBD.
I’d like to think the entity is confident enough to know her killers will complete the task at hand, no matter what, while at the same time, thoughtful enough to give the survivors a little less passivity, provided in the form of a couple shots to the dome of a seemingly unstoppable force constantly coming after them.

The urban myth was that 17 or 18 was supposed to be Candyman, tho since the film’s release date has been pushed back, it’s possible that if his character was ready to go, then the Chapter would have to wait until 2021 to coincide with the release of the movie. Devs may have simply been leaving hints for other reasons, but they certainly were leading the community on to believe it was Candyman by dropping “Candy” and “Bee” clues(?) everywhere. Tony Todd even followed DBD back in March or April 2020.
LBD’s usually spot on with their info.
Maybs they were right about one of them an decided to release Blight first. idk.

I always use Empathy as a Solo survivor
Rarely use Aura perks or add ons as killer, usually only Nurses
At LEAST 80% of killers I face on PS4 use Bbq, and it’s absolutely helpful, but I kno they can play w/o it, hopefully. I’m surprised players aren’t calling killer’s names an calling Bbq their “crutch,” tbh. Maybs they do, idk?
MANY killers I face use a variety of Aura perks, especially Infectious, Nurses & Undying.
I’m All Ears has been popular lately, also.
Spies from the Shadows is rare, but I see it here an there.
If killer’s aren’t using an Aura reading perk, then they usually have some add ons equipped that reveal a survivor’s aura.
Again, this is only what I’m experiencing lately on PS4. All depends on who’s playing who.
-
If we’re going for fastest matches w/o DCs:
Solo match, not sure if the other’s were SWF
Claudie, Megs, Yui... and I was Nea
Phantom Wraith match (possibly AFK)
2 perks: Shadowborn Predator
One was Tier 1 the other Tier 2.
Had add ons, but I didn’t really look at them.
Shroud of separation was offered.
AutoHaven: Wrecker’s Yard
First gen completed immediately, like 80 - 90sec
First 4 gens completed individually, super quick, like one right after another, almost at the same time. Had to have been about 2min or under, total.
3 of us did the 5th gen in like 45sec more.
So probs all 5 gens done in 3min or less.
3 of us escaped thru a manually opened gate, shortly after, followed by Yui. Not sure if she opened her own gate or not.
Match couldn’t have lasted longer than 4 1/2 - 5min.
I have no idea what all perks they had on.
I remember no one else took any items in except me, I had a brown med kit.
My build was InnerStrength, Empathy, SB, and We’ll Make It.
Billy
Again on Autohaven: Wrecker’s Yard
Bbq, Infectious, Discordance, Haunted Ground
No add ons
Dwight1 chainsawed from a cross-map sprint to the highlighted gen where Kate & Bald Dwight ran from. Chased Bald Dwight for a bit, possibly 20sec then downed him. Back to check Dwight1. Haunted Ground goes off (cleansed by the Nea). Instadown Kate as she’s picking up Dwight1. Down Dwight1. Hook Bald Dwight. Nea’s aura doesn’t show. Hook Kate. Hook Dwight1. All self terminate on hook. Nea gets the hatch not more than 25 sec later.
The whole match was possibly over in about 3min if that.
I was the Nea.
-
The shock and Doc’s laugh are too good to pass up on. Plus, his terror radius w/ M&A tends to drive survivors crazy. Combo that w some of his add ons and perk build possibilities jus makes him really tough on survivors an super fun to play.
Blight is... well.. Blight. Pretty good, not as much thrill as Doctor tho, imo.
-
Not the worst, I suppose.
Survivors DCing immediately after being discovered, not even hit yet.
Killers DCing less than 30sec into the match after old Ruin was cleansed.
Today a Rank 2 Billy w Undying/Ruin DC’d about 4min, 3 hooks, an 2 gens into the match after I cleansed 4 of his hex totems on Groaning Storehouses.
A Billy went ballistic on me after match (I NEVER play Claudie) when I played Claudette to get a Daily, happened to find a key in the basement chest of Gideon, then proceeded to fortunately find the hatch during a lengthy heated chase. He called me EVERYTHING, then accused me of being “the typical Blendette who always blah blah blah!”
Toxicity usually comes post match chat.

I think the main reason for not seeing it as often is that solo survivors never see the toxicity of a 4-man swf.
I have the exact same experience, playing killer I see a lot more teabagging.
Having said that, it's hard to keep track of other survivors behaviour when you are busy doing gens. So maybe it's just easier to spot when playing killer.
Truth.
Easier to see from killer side.
I Solo survive with Empathy, so I do see a good bit of everything that takes place at 128 meters in a chase. While toxicity from survivors doesn’t seem frequent, it is happening often, an it’s all immature, almost to the point of being laughable, like being amused by a small child behaving sillily.

@MaybeShesCrazy said:
Last week I decided to spend a day playing killer instead of survivor - this is how it went. (BTW I always loved the killer players for what they do... I love them even more now .. thanks for player killer, killers! - well most of you :-) )
Number one thing I learned was that at least 75% of survivors are jerks. Yup. Yup, they are. (And I thought I was annoyed with survivor behavior as a survivor!)
I'll start by saying that I wanted to player killer the way I wished most killers would. No tunneling or camping. Let players get people off hooks, don't attack while healing - though after you are fair game lol etc etc
Some of that idealism didn't even last a full game.
The first 5 games at least 2 out of every 4 survivors tea bagged me. How did that end? Well the offenders were hook camped until they died - that's how it ended. In fact one game I left them all dying on the ground for trying to save the really offending teabagger. I cared not. The teabaggers were obnoxious, there was absolutely nothing to warrant that behavior. Hook camping has a place - dealing with obnoxious tea-bagging players. So justified. (and VERY satisfying.)
Now how does this translate to me when I play survivor? Be warned fellow survivors, I might just leave you on the hook to die if I see a killer going for you alone as now I understand fully why they might be.
Out of the first 5 games, at least 2 games I had survivors DC's. What's amusing about that is I suck as killer and they probably would have escaped.
Once guy DC'd because I kept hitting him down. In my deference, his teammates kept getting out of the way and pushing him in the way when I would hit ...so he ended up hit instead. I never re-hooked him and never went after him as I wanted to play as fair as I could and give everyone a chance to have fun. I've been in his shoes more than once where a killer would just hook and hook me right at the start and I never had a chance to really play. So I did my best not to do that to someone else. I was so disappointed he DC'd. More for him than me.
The entire day was like this. No joke. Although the teabagging finally got reduced to 2 out of every five games.
So killers. Thanks again for playing that role. I've now seen though your eyes and I have even more respect for you than I did before. Thanks for putting up with all the jerks and continuing to play and not ragging leaving the game. I love you dearly.
Survivors, the ones with the bad behavior are who I'm talking about: From one survivor to another - stop being such jerks. Seriously.
75% could be a bit of a stretch?
So you compromised your integrity to spite their immaturity, then... possibly becoming equally immature in the process by choosing the path of wrath and enacting your vengeance.
Haven’t you ever watched the movie Se7en?
The ending of that film has a metaphor for life that we should always live by:
”Vengeance is Mine, saith the LORD;
I will repay.” Romans 12:19
Don’t let jerks and their actions cause you to fall prey to the detriment of their own unfortunate demise. They’ll get what’s coming to them.
The back and forth toxicity will never end when we all continue to be participants in it, srsly. We’ll all only be complaining to each other about what toxic behaviors we’ve chosen to be a part of, ourselves, on our own side.
I’ve seen it so much now, from both sides, I‘m compelled to react, but end up jus being like, “meh, spoiled children” an go about my business on whatever side I play.
Realistically tho, in horror movies like DBD is based from, killers really do camp, kebab an watch survivors take their last breath.
Not many movies where survivors are taunting the killer instead of sprinting directly out the doorway to freedom... the ones that do attempt to jest are those token survivors who end up dead.
It’s all a choice.
That being said, it feels good to be in your “25th percentile”
-
Can’t roast marshmallows around the campfire 😔
-
Being completely immersed in the entity’s realm while playing DBD in VR would add an intricate element of fright.
Jus imagining turning around to look for Meg an seeing a full size Myers stalking up behind you, or working on a gen when Ghostface quickly peeks out from around the corner in front of you!
I Hope Behaviour decides to go this route an figures out a way to VR DBD.

This in my eyes won't change anything. If the killer is that against it they'll just DC when the match starts and they still won't truly know if it's SWF just like they don't know now.
Once in the match, when any player intentionally selects the “leave match” option to DC they are still taken to the post match screen where all player’s info is available. They’ll see who’s who there.
-
We all have off days where we experience a few or possibly a mini streak of less than par matches.
Only one match, tho.
It’s good to be concerned, but keep calm.
If it begins happening more frequently, like 5-10+ consecutive matches or 60% - 70% or more of your matches, then you could give things a deeper look.
Could’ve jus been a SWF team that happened to get the better of you that time. idk tho.
-
as far as “can’t” goes:
Huntress:
those hatchets seem to have a mind of their own... I throw them an they jus go wherever they feel like going 😆😒
Jane Romero:
Absolute least fav character in the whole game. I do like many of her cosmetics, (Windswept Wonder hair, Pink Merriment sweater, an her pink black lace skirt is my fav look for her)
but that Pinstripe Pants suit (especially the grey!) is completely the worst! I even don’t like it to the extent that I almost want to leave lobby’s whenever someone is wearing that. Also, Her deep, bassy voice sfx are the least appealing amongst all the survivors, imo.
I frequently get Jane players in Solo matches who play selfishly like their goal is to not help the team. That’s jus my experience tho.
Need to get matches w more helpful, team friendly Jane mains.
-
ngl, I usually don’t ever see Blendettes
...ever
-
-
Devs won’t ever do that.
What they could/ should do, is place an icon next to survivors names after the match that designates which players were on a SWF team for that match.
That way, at least the killer would kno what elements of SWF/ Solo they played against.
Devs most likely wouldn’t add this feature either, since it potentially causes killers to opt out of lobbys where they see certain survivors who they’ve seen SWFing.
Which leads us to the solution for everyone:
Remove player names from killer’s view while in the lobby.
They don’t need to be there anyway.
Let survivors see who’s who amongst survivors, and still not see the killer. Let the killer not see who anyone is. Then after the match, allow the killer to kno who they were up against.
This way, no one can dodge certain players, and killers at the end of the match could see who they really faced.
At least that would give killers some peace of mind on wether they got destroyed by, or did the destroying of; a team of Solo’s, a team of SWFs, or a variation of both.

Always wondered what the actual concept of time experienced by survivors was within the entity’s realm.
-
The next Tome supposedly will be Hillbilly, Nea, Blight & Adam. Imagine it will be out around Halloween.
Here’s a screenshot from the official DBD wiki page that shows the timeframes for every Tome release. Looks like everything would line up for a October release.

How are you breaking joysticks? Do circles with wiggling, not side to side.
Yeah, I always do circles when the killer is carrying me.
Think the joysticks are snapping from constantly, firmly holding one direction while walking around, an especially when running away from the killer, as a survivor.
I only get the official Sony PS4 DS controllers too, ‘cause I kno the other ones are cheaply made an break easier, too. So now I jus think ALL the controllers aren’t as good of quality as the ones from when PS4 first released.

For us noob consolers: what tf are "Macros"?
Think macros is like the equivalent of a 1 button Fatality in MK, as opposed to pressing all the buttons in order.

First time I’ve heard this from anyone, always wondered how things were on PC side of DBD as far as wearing out mouses, keyboards, etc.
I go thru a PS4 controller every 4-6mths. Usually, it’s the left joystick that has been wearing out an snapping.
Hopefully you can get a keyboard to plug into your laptop.

I don’t consider Streetwise, WakeUp, Boil Over, Saboteur or Red Herring meta, as some have.
Those 4 perks can be light an fun to use, also.
I feel Knockout, Gearhead, Coulrophobia are effective non-meta perks.
-
Yeah, I’ve experienced this on PS4 playing Both sides. On the survivor side, I wish devs would’ve given pallet dropping an increase when they added the killer’s lunge mechanic. Not sure what the time calculation is during the pallet drop animation. Jus be nice if there would’ve been a slight increase in the speed at which survivors drop pallets to give a small compensation there.
If you pause the screen during a replay of the killer’s swing on a survivor, the in-game distance between the weapon and the survivor’s body can be well over a foot apart at times. Hit boxes. Feels natural as a killer, but you can still see the distance; that it was far off from actually hitting close to the survivor’s body. Survivor side, jus smh every time.
Hits during Pallet stuns and especially window vaults (survivor’s literally 3+ feet out of the window when hit, smh) are absolutely the worst feelings of hitbox unfairness I’ve experienced in game while playing survivor.
When playing killer, I see it happen an I still feel it’s ridiculous unfairness that could be tightened up a bit an wish it would be.

I guess Blight doesn't count, I was talking more like "Does this person have a cutscene?" All tomes seem to follow the same idea of four characters, equal number of killers and survivors (Alchemist is weird since they weren't a killer at the time. The devs seem to have settled into a pattern so it seems like this is at least semi accurate.
Yeah, probs jus gonna be 4 characters every time. Those Tome V predictions COULD BE accurate, tho 😉😉😬
Soo YaY Nea! Mah Bestie❣️
-
Killers would perform Friendships
‘cause I really wanna roast marshmallows w Trapper an have a dance off w Myers!
Survivors would have their own special individual abilities, similar to killers.
...Super awesome to have Nurse’s daughter as a survivor who could float around the realms an get her blink on from time to time, jus like her Mum☺️
SWF would be sayonara!, minus coms, no coms, comless, sans coms, w/o coms, ok coms buh-byeee!
-
If you’re talking about Story arch advancements and characters that have been featured in Tomes with MasterChallenges an the likes, then Blight hasn’t yet been featured or had his official memory/log entries/ challenges/ etc.
I suppose it also depends on how many killers and survivors devs decide to feature in each Tome.
For instance, Tome V will (“could”😏) supposedly be Hillbilly, Adam, Nea and Blight.
If they have Tomes w more or less characters per, then the time frame could run longer or even conclude sooner than we predict.
-
As much as I enjoyed the first 2 installments of the franchise, Devs won’t do T-1000 for the same reason they said they won’t license The Thing. They won’t put any killers in the game that have the ability to take on the likenesses of the survivors.
Also, Terminator isn’t horror, so that probs plays a part in the final decision on what gets licensed.
-
Keep on playin’ her!
Nurse is forevvs the best killer, imo❣️

Thank bros for your contribution.
I will add / update any positive idea on the OP from now on.
@Xyvielia I think if using key or mori, the win streak will no be counted is enough, it's too strict if it resets win-streak (ofc they still able to lose the win-streak based on match result)
No worries, it’s a really good idea an I hope it gets some of the devs attention.
...not everyone in these forums are bros tho, some of us are broettes 😄 jus sayin’

I like the idea. It adds a new fun element, an the rewards are cool.
I personally don’t play too extremely hard or competitively, nevertheless I think players will enjoy trying to stay on top of the leaderboards, an I’d even be willing to give it a shot.
Devs will have to add a disqualifier element where anyone bringing a key/mori is not eligible for the reward, either for that trial, or to the effect that bringing the key/mori automatically removes them from the leaderboard until they start over at the bottom w/o the key/mori.
There would have to be a clear notice broadcast to ALL players so they understand that keys/mori’s will not benefit them in the Winning Streak mechanic.
This could actually cause keys/mori to appear less frequently.
Keep in mind tho, that everyone has their own playstyle. Some ppl like competition, some don’t. Some people prefer pepperoni on their pizza, some hate pepperoni an only want mushrooms, etc.
The devs will never be able to please everyone.
If they didn’t implement new features into the game because they are fearful of offending certain players, then there wouldn’t be a game at all.
Jus a thought.

I want to keep playing this game but it gets boring nearly every match. You chased a survivor for more than thirty seconds because you are an m1 killer? unlucky now 3 gens are almost done and by the time you down them you are down to 2 gens. It also doesn't help when i have no one to help me improve so every one of my matches are just 4 man escapes. its boring as hell. Why do i need a ######### perk to band aid fix issues in this game. It doesn't even help im using a killer who starts off at 105% meaning if i go to the wrong gen i basically already lost. Literally idk how to ######### do anything and when i have no one to help it makes this game boring. Seriously how do you make a game where you need to dedicate so much time into it just to have a chance. Like i do not have anything to help me at all.
Fellow friends to help- no they are all survivor mains who complain when a killer plays efficiently
Perks- no because i didn't know this game was pay to win because almost all good killer perks are either behind pay wall or you need to spend a ######### ton amount of time trying to get 9k shards
Killers- same reason i gave for perks, only killers that are free (ps4) that i know of who can win without any dlc perks are huntress, and nurse.
I mean all i really want is infectious and corrupt to actually have a chance to use my skill and not a 3 minute game because i chose to play a killer that actually sounded cool. I wasted 30 ######### dollars on this ######### game that i regret massively and could've spent on other things that would positively impact my life.
And the community is so ######### toxic. Like god damn can yall stop ######### bickering at each other like dogs fighting over a bone so we can actually deal with real issues. It seems like this community is 2 children fighting while the devs in the form of parents try to please both sides. Its ridiculous. I might just delete this game because its not fun in its current state.
And survivor is not as tormenting on the mind but its still boring as hell. Especially when you have to deal with ######### teammates just to try to rank up. Its like if you threw an 8 year old in a group of babies and try to actually deal with it. Its nigh impossible.
So the non toxic part of this wonderful community, i ask 3 things
A- ######### am i supposed to do to "pressure" with myers without corrupt
B-why is this community so toxic
C-should i stop playing this game permanently
Maybs @Kilmeran can give you some special tips to help you out, as he is well versed in DBD, especially all things Myers related. Never hurts to message him an ask. If he gets a chance, I’m sure he will give you some good pointers.

Yeah, jus chillax a bit til the frustration subsides.
I’m solo surviving in red ranks (2 currently) an get matches with red rank experienced killers an combos of green/ purple survivors (they seem to have very little DBD common sense) who are downed fairly quickly, then proceed to immediately race for the unhook w/o BT right in front of the killer. DCs, quick 4K matches resulting in neg-pips. Not fun.
I’ve also, lately, (in the past 2 days) experienced a trend of red rank killers who are tunneling right off the hook. Not sure if they picked this “strategy” up from other streamers or from the recent tournie, but this usually doesn’t happen amongst red ranks killers, especially where they tunnel after the BT. Killers often go into matches expecting a team of aggressive SWFs, all on the same page, who play offensively and are linked with coms to benefit them even more. They’re so experienced from learning to deal w SFS that when they get a team of solo’s w/o the 5th perk of coms, it can be a complete slaughter fest!
I’ve heard a good majority of players voicing their opinions on experiencing the same.
So you’re certainly not alone in this.
Certainly never any harm in some good, healthy, non-violent venting.
Take a rest, regain your peace/sanity an have another go.
When you return tho, remember to be focused an fully aware that it could (probably will) happen again; that’s half the battle. Choosing then to respond to the circumstances calmly, letting all the nonsensicalities fall to your feet an disintegrate, is a great way to patiently tolerate the DBD dysfunction.
Too much anxiety otherwise, imo.

Petrified oak as a solo survivor seems useless on its own. Unless it’s stacked, there isn’t really much of an effect. Banking on other survivors to offer one as well rarely proves to pay off, not to mention expecting them to take hits and sabo hooks for greater chance of escaping.
Imagining the negative aspect would be newer survivors who don’t realize and expect the hooks to be distanced apart just enough when offering 1 of these to provide them time to wiggle free, where they plan a strategy that backfires when it’s revealed that the killer will still make it to most hooks from the location of a down.
