Nemesis is definitely not on the weaker side of killers. 😂 he’s got one of the best anti loops.
Anti-Loop alone isn’t enough for a killer to be strong.
-
The issue with Nemesis is how inconsistent he is with his kit, with the tentacle hitting you times it shouldn’t and others times it should’ve along with the zombies being either worthless or carrying and just being an overall unhealthy addition to the game. Additionally, since he’s on the weaker end of killers they will normally play with stronger builds and use the top starts and the tunneling is likely because of the three hit with power mechanic.
-
Bro 2 min gens would be too busted, that plus the already strong amount of gen perks now gens couldn’t possibly get done. And if you’re that worried about camping getting nerfed that hard with a perk nothing basekit then try not camping.
-
Normally killers with built in slowdown because they become a Solo Q Nightmare. Legion and Plague because they are anti heal. And Bubba because camping potential. Also Myers because of the tombstone and perma tier 3.

They're healing against Tier 3 Myers, man.
Perma Tier 3 Myers more accurately.

So is it one thing you keep seeing killers use/do, or is it 10?
But as usual, probably not their fault you're getting obliterated in solo. Look at what your teammates are doing. When the killer is just on you, are they pushing gens? When you're on hook, is one of them coming to get you, or all 3? And since you're going against meta killers with meta perks, are they using any meta perks?
How Truly Solo Q sucks because it only goes off the simple parameter of kills and escapes, this allows too many people who shouldn’t be were they are, like once matched with a Zarina who healed against Plague.
-
The reason Solo Q sucks is teammates who lack fundamental game knowledge and in general just make miss plays like crazy. The amount of survivors I’ve seen Self Care instead of letting me heal with with WE’LL MAKE IT because they don’t even bother to read descriptions is mind numbing. Or people who drop pallets early and such.
-
On survivor it’s my new favorite perk now feels rewarding, requires skill, can give huge value, and doesn’t feel unfair to face as killer now. They actually reworked it perfectly actually not as devastating against M1s still hugely valuable against top tier killers and now can have actual value in the open unlike old Dead Hard.

Its annyoing themeatically hes a intellgent bio weapon that gradually becomes more beastial and dangerous. His mutation should result in dramatic shifts in gameplay similar to michael. Throw out the zombies, make add ons focus on maintaining or augmenting one side of his power.
A transformation from a ranged killer to a highly aggresive and mobile dash based killer would have been way more true to his presentation. Admitadly it would be difficult to pull off but myers put dbd on the map and gave it a dedicated playerbase. Not alone because myers was iconic but because his power has so many layers and playstyles depending on add ons equiped.
Nemsis was very phoned in and even basic things like augmenting zombies using nemsis power wasnt even bothered with. The add ons are so boring even his iridescents are trash #########!
Yeah, they definitely got lazy with his power, we’re probably too nervous it would get too extensive or something.

You forgot how his power promotes tunneling. A fresh chase is 3 hits not two so nemsis players tend to tunnel since at most they will have to deal with two hits. The endurance hit/ds stun then one more down as opposed to a fresh chase. Which involves dealing with 3 gurranteed hits and a freshly hooked survivor.
Its the twins problem all over again they built a killer that reinforces ppaying scummy what were they thinking?
Yeah, they definitely could’ve done Nemesis a lot better, it could be so much more then some tentacle and AI.
-
As a Nemesis main there are definitely a few reasons that he is quite unpopular to face. The Tentacle hit box is very inconsistent sometimes it hits you when it shouldn’t while other times it hits you when it should’ve, just making it a real annoyance in counter. Additionally the pull up time in the same as Old Deathslinger so little reaction time. The pallet shred while on Nemesis is nice can be like very hard to face on survivor because it gives him insane zoning if a lone pallet gets broken. And finally the zombies it just doesn’t feel like skilled or outplayed when some clunky AI chases you off the gen or hex totem, it’s why I personally think they’re unhealthy for the game. But, yeah those are a few reasons.

no, they are not, killers overall were extremely buffed, arguably too much even. You should practice more and focus on getting better if you're losing a lot of matches on that map.
I play strong killers and do just fine, even with the changes no Trapper, Myers, Pig, or Trickster will be winning on that map. This is simply a case of map design not being much for strong killers yet being too devastating to weak killers.
-
@Toaster427 said:
If you're still having trouble as killer after all the buffs then it's a skill issue and you should probably reflect on the mistakes you made rather than blaming the game
For many killers though they’re still too weak.
-
@dugman said:
The main building is strong for survivors but I’m not sure if the map overall is, the outside feels kind of weak. It’s a bit like Dead Dawg Saloon where if you mostly ignore the main building as killer and focus on protecting the outside it seems to go a lot better.
Around the road maybe, but just yesterday had the most disgusting setup possible across from the house.
-
This is probably just do bones early as counter.
-
Any stealth killer their power can give them a hit for free but then they pretty much just have to tunnel you because they have weak chase. Huntress because of he hit boxes, Plague because of her anti-heal, Legion because mending makes it annoying in chase.
-
See what?
-
Depending on the killer it can be super beneficial, the Bubbas, Huntresses, and Trapper of the worlds, but for some it’s better to go somewhere else like a Blight or Oni. Personally I find hard tunneling and camping just not skillful and playing survivor also I know it sucks to face, so I try and do it as least as possible or at least not intentional.

Survivor really didnt lose much though, and I wouldn't mind just a small medkit but everyone is stacking strong items and map offerings
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3112917#Comment_3112917
I know but I try to play all killers, I dont just want to play blight and nurse to stand a chance. It wouldn't be so bad if they didnt go that extra mile to screw me over.
Then try the A Tiers they can definitely do very well now.
-
The mistake is playing Freddy, while some killers can now do better, a lot are still super weak and unviable.
-
I do feel bad for Freddy mains, the few left, his current state leaves him so weak with near non existent anti loop, a good teleport though but has lost synergy with lots of former perk, although I do thinks there’s still good gen perks being the only thing he can run synergy with well. But that doesn’t matter if he can’t get those downs and current Freddy just doesn’t have much mechanical depth or a skill ceiling or interesting gameplay. I hope one day Freddy is reworked to be strong but interesting.
-
Should be a good change in all honesty, map was super unpopular and was just a terrible experience for the majority of both sides, with the pain trying to get places and the shift W and Solo Q was real on this map. And even if you did learn the map many issues would still happen.
-
Every time I get the ball rolling with good matches I get paired with the absolute most baby survivor. So MMR has been poor as usual. But still pretty fun matches, but still learning the new base for everything it’s been worst adjusting to new bloodlust.
-
I have like no clue, Botany because they don’t want immediate heals. Calm Spirit so the killer finds their Hex is being cleansed right next to them, and Pharmacy because I guess they don’t want too many Green Med Kits. Those are the reasons that Behavior are using are they good though, no, best one is Botany but they should just do something with Medkits instead.
-
Well first an actual MMR that works, not kidding had a Zarina who was healing against a Plague as she was about to be broken, I wanted to DC so bad. Second Kindred survivor aura basekit to deal with the whole teammates don’t save you since they don’t know. And an action indicator to get a better idea to like gen progress and such. Big request along with something to deal with camping effectively.
-
New Dead Hard is my favorite perk now.
-
The best and strongest advice I can give for Sadako is don’t play Sadako, at most spend the blood points for Call of Brine or Floods of Rage.
-

To be honest spirit still
I would enjoy Spirit but they run MDR and Cherry Blossom so much.
-
Oh boy there’s a lot. Ironically I enjoy Blights and Nurses even with their stupid add-ons.
1.Wraith, it sucks, maybe cause I don’t face real good ones , but they seem to run NOED, tunnel, and just bloodlust hard.
2.Myers, I just find him annoying with the vault and lunge messing with muscle memory hard, teammates feeding him also, but mostly I find it so frustrating to face tombstones or perms tier 3s, which is most of them.
3.Huntress the hitbox is just annoying to me, hard to deal with weird terror radius personally, and the camping potential is annoying.
4.Pig, mostly because the stealth, doesn’t have any fun chase they need to bloodlust, and box RNG depends on my mood.
5.Ghostface once again I just don’t like facing stealth and a 99 instant down just annoying.
-
I think her base kit is manageable, the problem is the add-one like he said should be nerfed, also Lethal blinks should count as special attacks.
-
It’s because basekit Myers is one of the weakest killers in the game, and his add-ons being insane are what keeps him at least somewhat viable higher up.
-

ye thats also a thing if u dont like losing then dont play weak killers i mean play things like pyramid head or something or a different m1 killer like idk legion or smth
Yeah, A tier killers are definitely doing super good now even B tiers so definitely more options all though some killer will still loose a bunch.
-
What playing the weakest killers does to a person.
-
@BrokenSouI said:
Basekit nurse isn't top tier on huge maps. IF they ever reduce maps and learn how to make them better. I'm all for removing range. Until then it should remain.
Her attacks only being special would be ok...Again. If they fix maps. Or leave range go.
Blight is a poor comparison to compare them though. Blight is 4.6. He can chase you down. Nurse HAS to use her power.
Because they’re the two strongest with two lethal attacks but only one can trigger Starstruck or Haunted Grounds.

Sounds like you were crutching on Iron Will too hard.

As one of the last Hillbillies out there, there are legit some many pitiful reasons.
1.Overheat actively punishes you for trying to use your Chainsawed as much as possible when it isn’t even that oppressive considering Bubba has a better insta-down, Oni has better curving, and Blight has better mobility, overheat he a dumb.
2.He is very punishing for mistakes a missed chainsaw will allow another survivor to get to another loop, this was fine before overheat, now it makes it punishing.
3.Animations are messy very hard to keep track of survivors.
4.No really good add-ons, none of his are super good, the best are engravings but for some reason they have a charge debuff while Oni and Blight arguably stronger have add-ons that don’t.
5.Maps are becoming very hard for Hillbilly, the hit boxes of objects have made it very annoying like a random branch not even close will clip you, and loops harder to curve, Eeyrie and Garden prime example.
Simply you have to put in so much effort to actually get some decent results with Hillbilly more with Nurse for example, who once you get muscle memory with blinks you’ll get results, while Hillbilly to get to that point takes much longer, because you have to get muscle memory of charge time, object hit boxes, every loop with curving, individual charge with add-ons with engravings, overheat mechanic limiting how much you can do, and it essentially makes it punishing experience which is why no one plays him casually or few try to master him anymore. Which is depressing since if they fix some issues Hillbillies could come back.
-
Oh my goodness, changes people have been asking for actual years, too much people will quit the game for real this time.
-
There was legit no good reason, it was the same reason as Wraith getting nerfed, against low ranks the kill rate was huge, so they make a nerf that doesn’t help with new players, but does hamper his performance at higher MMR. Overheat isn’t necessary because Hillbilly has about everything in his kit, but more importantly he’s not the best at anything. Bubba has better instant down, Blight has better mobility, Oni has better curving, and these make the elements in Hillbillie’s kit fair to face because they aren’t that oppressive. And it’s his versatility that gives him his strength. Currently overheat makes it where in higher MMR where survivors movement is tricky, they’re aware of where curving is possible, and play safe to avoid gen snipes, you need to break the chainsaw rev or hold it longer to get a better chance, but overheat punishes you for trying to go for these plays to get downs and such which is legit punishing for trying to do cool things with your power. And there’s the other issues of course the animation changes and the fact that maps no longer really account for him like Eeyrie and Garden with hard to curve loops and weird hit boxes to chip the chainsaw and just in general clutter that make curving and mobility take extra time that costs you. And it’s incredibly tragic how they took one of the best and most balanced killers who like 1% of people complained about and just were like “AcCoRdInG tO tHe StAtIsTiCs”. (I still play Hillbilly a lot just tragic how they made this unnecessary change when it could’ve been a Myers buff or Pig rework and just zapped a lot of Hillbillies enjoyability).
-
Overall Nurse is fun to face personally unique chase and mechanics, the issue is when one brings 3 blink, recharge, and range add-on combos with full slowdown and a map offering. So absolutely there should be no base-kit changes any nerfs to Nurse should be add-on nerfs or blink attacks registering as special attacks.
-
Add-on nerfs and blink hits as an M2 attack to remove devastation with instant-downs.
-
I’d love another folklore killer like the Oni, I’d figure Mothman would be good for first flying killer or some folklore from like India or Middle East.
-
With certain perks definitely like Jolt but not a perk like NOED.

Where you one of the billy mains back in 2017 when 19/20 matches was against Billy lmao. I played back then and I love going against Billy's. They are so skilled, but very respectful. As a ps4 player billy is tough for me, but I love playing him
Actually picked him up after the nerf, I joined later, it was rough but he felt cool enough so I kept going through the struggles on Xbox One S.
-
Maps have been particularly dirty to Hillbilly and he can be more successful then Bubba but it requires so much effort I can’t blame someone for declining to try

Maybe it comes down to playstyle but as someone who plays a lot of FPSes flicking is my ######### and without the quick scope its no longer really a thing. Gap shots are still possible but mostly if survivors just aren't paying attention. Like if I see a slinger ready their gun on the opposite side of the haybales on coldwind I know he is going to go for the hole.
Yeah you have to fake a shot a lot more compared to old Slinger, I actually picked up Slinger after the nerf and the shots since they can’t come instant a lot more baits have to be used, which can lead them for a later shot.

Sadako at least just feels weak and if you like m1 killers she can be played just like that slinger just feels bad to play as. Like he isn't even one of the worst killers imo he is just boring and feels horrendous to play as. I cannot play a single match of him witohut feeling like giving up midway through. It also weirdly feels like they queue up actions because sometimes I ads press fire mid animation then it fires when the animation is over. It just generally feels like ######### to play and isn't fun in the slightest.
That’s like weird to me though, Deathslinger is one of my mains and I can still end chases like super quick and he personally doesn’t feel that clunky to me and lots of gap shots are still possible, I think the biggest issue has become hold W, 4.4 and 32 meter TR was what hurt him the most and why I always run M&A because otherwise that happens very dumb decision should’ve been at most 28 meters.
