Pre buff legion was the worst killer in the game and absolutely needed those buffs

Nurse isn't the only viable killer no against a competent SWF you can do well if you play an A tier killer and play dirty.
Just watched a comp match yesterday Pinhead vs 4 competent survivors with likely 7k hours each and the killer still got a 4k.(Pinhead is B tier not even S tier still managed to win against a competent team now imagine against a soloQ team or a chill SWF)
Most SWFs you go against are not even sweaty they just want to have fun with the killer(CJ tech,Locker tech you know all this techs stuff content creators such as Ayrun or JRM do)
You keep saying Nurse is the only viable killer which is not true, she's just too strong in comparison to the others killers that still doesn't make the A tier killers worthless as they are a solid pick if you play them well enough.
Sanctum of Wrath is not even that strong of a map for survivors the RNG might fk you up sometimes but I find it's to be balanced most of the time I play an M1 killer on this map.
there are 3 maps that really makes M1 killers unplayable imo: The Game,Eyrie of crows and Fractured cowshed.
If you keep losing your games don't blame the maps, blame yourself for losing some maps are BS we all know that but currently most maps are Okay-ish.
now I agree with you that the bottom tier killers needs help and we'll see if this midchapter patch is gonna change anything Brutal strength tier 1 and 2 stacks of STBFL basekit are a tiny buff but hey it's a small step forward !
There are some more maps that an M1 doesn’t have a chance like Badham, Mother’s Dwelling, or Garden of Joy. On the topic of Nurse she is likely gonna get changed again not a rework though, so, I’d imagine two good changes are add-on nerfs and her blinks becoming special attacks, because it makes no sense that Blight doesn’t have them but Nurse does.
-
Unlikely based on license holder policy or whatever and it would be nice that if were to happen when Freddy hopefully gets another rework
-
Hillbilly is still fun to play, but requires a lot of effort to master correctly, but overheat essentially punishes you for trying use your power as much as possible a pretty dumb mechanic considering his power isn’t oppressive enough to warrant overheat. And his add-ones are pretty weak. Hopefully one day the overheat heat is reverted and add-ons made viable.

It literally takes 0 skill to wait until its 99 and never let go of sprint 80 percent of the match loopers hold sprint anyways unless they are trying to regain exhaust
Regardless it’s impact is less then Dead Hard I will take Sprint Burst over Dead Hard whenever

99 sb is really easy and takes no effort and the only micro management you do is hit shift just like dh you hit e
99 Sprint burst in chase is skilled otherwise it’s easy and it’s lackluster impact in chase is why I prefer facing Sprint Burst over Dead Hard
-
@Tatt3dWon said:
SB is going to make all killers wish they never complained about DH just like 6 months ago before it got fixed.
Not really Sprint Burst requires a lot more micro management not used in chase and hence doesn’t have the on demand power of Dead Hard and like 99ing actually requires some effort.
-
I would expect a nerf or rework they’ve probably concluded it’s too much against stealth killers and perks.
-
Nemesis and his hitbox rules have always been very inconsistent

Overzealous is the absolute worst perk in the game. It should never have released to live but they are at least changing asap.
Monstrous Shrine and Sole Survivor want to have a word with you

I agree, the only one that I'm worried about is Spine Chill, if they make it so it doesn't work against stealth, it will literally lose all functionality with the exception of the vault build.
Curious about that they probably have heard complaints about how it seriously dampers stealth killers and perks and figured it hard counters them too much.
-
Ideally make it where after an unhook traps within so and so of hook dissolve removing the insane loose-loose camping scenario, then remove flashlights removing traps already can be disarmed by tripping the edge no need for this item to butcher them.
-
Yeah it’s definitely been rough the overall mechanics remained the same but you’re punished if you try to aggressively use your chainsaw and new maps changes have been brutal
-
Reworked would be the best option
-
He has a 1v1 that’s either super oppressive at some loops and worthless at others and is too forgiving for mistakes miss 1 knife? Don’t worry you have dozens more. Which is really tragic considering being a performer he could have many potential abilities that are much stronger, skillful, and enjoyable to face.
-
Yeah, it’s like super dark in some rooms good for survivor stealth, so it’s in contention for best main building for survivor in the game
-
You forgot the ultimate Sadako tip though, don’t play Sadako
-
Probably thought you weren’t even trying anymore or figured just to farm or something happened to me with a Sadako

I'm not sure if it's the worst period of dbd ever, but it's absolutely the worst period in recent years imho. Dark Days™ still has that title for a reason, but that was also at the very release of the game up until like the very end of 2017 so it feels ages away.
Wasn’t that the time of infinites, instant moris, instant gens, and 5 blink Nurse?
-
While Nemesis does have that boring strong 1v1 power with little else that doesn’t equal him being overpowered, a rework to bring in other stronger elements to his kit while tuning down the 1v1 is the better option.
-
Welcome back perfect time to return especially if the Mid-Chapter has what’s as promised

LOL i found an idealist
They did said they’d make base changes after DS and BT changes. Think they’ll be bad changes?
-
They probably will when they change the meta
-
Lag, hit boxes, and teammates
-
Yeah if these changes happen like soon this will be reversed
-
That’s where Dead Hard can be pretty reasonable against the Bubba basement lord, they do know why the meta is meta hopefully base changes can fix these reliances
-
If there is a successful camp at 4-5 gens then just do gens might not be enough in Solo Q where one goes to the the hook then leaves but another decides to check. In SWF obviously it’s different and there are the same meta perks but obviously this could all be changing soon.
-
Yeah, while I do think the tentacle has some nice elements and should remain with a rework although be tuned down a bit, with zombies removed, I’m sad this dream rework won’t happen because it’s likely below their radar on top priorities especially with the sadness of licensed killers know as Myers, Pig, and SADako. But one day he’ll get the sprint and rocket launcher/ flamethrower/ or both hopefully to truly be the Nemsis and not basic 1v1 go brrrr killer.
-
With 40 perk changes announced and it split equally and of the most common and hence infamous perks I couldn’t imagine NOED is untouched
-
Yeah it normally goes that way unfairly stacking the cards against one side. Although occasionally you get lucky like a SWF burning a Gideon offering when you’re playing as The Nemesis.

Yeah. In a meta where nearly all Killers tunnel look like they have the same intellectual level as Bubba, DH sure doesn't help in SoloQ where BT/DS aren't necessarily brought in by teammates. Sure.
Once again that’s a different discussion if you want to nerf camping and tunneling you first need to rework gens. And Dead Hard is separate from camping and tunneling the reason Dead Hard is Op and needs the changes is because take this situation the survivor is close to a pallet you swing now they dead hard away you wait they dead hard for distance not good perk design especially when it isn’t needed to outplay a killer.

Why does this basic, underbaked talking point only ever apply to solo survivors, and never apply to killers?
Because the killer equivalent NOED is far less common and other killer metas do often require more

In a game with perfect MMR, "skills" would not be an issue since if the survivor sucks, so does the killer. This is not the case with DBD.
When you place a Killer at 3k hours against SoloQ at 200h ~ 400h, strangely, you can't hear you cry much anymore. No, that's a "skills issue".
So DH is a problem for you ? Maybe it's a skills issue, right ?
The hypocrisy of the killers is the biggest joke in all of DBD. They spend their time crying over SWF because they can't get to 4K, however, SoloQ's imbalances ? it's not their problem, after all. It 4K easily against them.
You are making terribly false assumptions that I believe Solo Q doesn’t need improvements, I’ve advocated for Kindred basekit or ways to see each other’s perks to know who should and shouldn’t say go for saves. Which is how it needs actual improvements improved communication not some chase perk that takes the skill out of looping by the press of E which many truly rely on too much.
-
@Rokjer said:
Except for SoloQ, as usual. Some already can't hold out for long even with DH, so without... We're going to have to deal with Nurse double range, 4x slowdowns perks, without communication and without DH.
Youhoo !
It should come as no surprise that only the toxic SWF remain on this game.
So they can’t last long without relying on a perk? That sounds like a skill issue and they should learn to get better and not rely on a crutch
-
Some would underestimate the wonders this would do for the game’s health

Dead hard is best perk for survivors so ofcourse I rely on it. Nemesis testacle hits just from so far away countering that is very hard if he is any decent so dh is needed. Agains't good nurse and blight dh is only way to survive bit longer and extend the chase. Sb can work sometimes agains't nurse but agains't blight no.
You do know that if you crouch behind objects his tentacle won’t hit you and it only has a range of 5 meters in tier 1 and 6 meters in tier 3 which isn’t long and if you mind game right and just get familiar with tentacle drag he’s very beatable, especially with his inconsistent zombie pressure, Nurse and Blight can be too much if they’re running like Torn Bookmark or Alchemist Ring or Nurse is on Midwich or Blight on Shelter woods but that’s map and add-on issues not the killers basekit.

The Nurse is already way broken, you can't remove the only perk that can counter her. Also, DH is the only perk that allows survivors to make BT saves against face campers. On top of those 2 issues, there's also the one-hit-downs, that only DH can counter.
As much as killer-mains want to remove DH, there's a lot tied to DH that would need to be addressed.
It’s far more important however to address the perk because although it is fair against one killer it absolutely kills a majority of the roster

Yes they all need nerfs expect spirit. Artist can make loops useless with her birds so that needs nerf. Nemesis can hit 10 miles away with his testacle that needs nerf. Blight is not counterable at all without dh and same with nurse so those killer should be just deleted if dh gets nerf.
First not good if you’re relying on a single perk that badly to beat killers when others do it plenty of times
Nurse you need to get good distance and be as predictable as the weather at most add-on nerfs
Blight don’t go into open areas stay where it’s cluttered at most add-on changes
Nemesis not really hard just hold w, crouch, and get familiar with tier 1-2 and 3 ranges so you know when to vault
Artist beatable just a chore to do so by the magical W key maybe slight rework
All beatable killers no Dead Hard necessary those who say they’re unbeatable without it rely on Dead Hard too much.
-
I’m sorry but none of those killers need a nerf, rework sure, add-on changes also, but not a flat out nerf, all those killers are beatable without DH and DH needs to be nerfed because of how devastating it is to lower tier killers and how it literally is a perk that is the most on demand easy exhaustion perk.

Those aren't infinites. You remember 2016/2017 infinites where you run a loop the whole game without dropping a pallet. Most pallet is mind game able beside the god pallets
They’re still survivor sided though enough where most killers won’t make it like a Pig on Badham or Eyrie is an automatic GG easy.

Sure but tell me which maps are really survivor sided besides the game
Let me see
1.Groaning Storehouse
2.Gas Heaven
3.Fractured Cowshed
4.Rotten Fields
5.Disturbed Ward
6.Father Campbells Chapel
7.Mother’s Dwelling
8.Temple of Purgation
9.Badham Preschool 1-5
10.Family Residence
11.Mount Ormond
12.RPD
13.Eyrie of Crows
+Game like you said
All super survivor sided maps, although some like Purgation or Chapel are only busted with experienced survivors not newbies.
-
Sadness
-
Skill issue when loosing to one of the worst killers in the game
-
Well explain to me what they have going mechanically.
-
A tragedy of the bottom half of killers being a laughing stock which killer was it?
-
Killers that have a rather low skill ceiling but get stomped easily so I’d say Pig or Freddy.
-
Boil Over nerf reverted
-
Grind Reduction and Improved new player experience

Yes, try playing Blight, Trapper, Huntress, Deathslinger, Wraith, Hillbilly, Pig, Doctor, Hag, and Plague. You'll find that The Twins are A LOT more fun than those boring killers.

It really depends on the map for me on rather or not it’s enjoyable on Midwich please end me
