Myers is completly fine tho
In my opinion he's F Tier. And no one puts him in B tier. He has the weakest early game of all killers. A power that runs out and isn't that imposing He's only saved by add-ons.

Then with silent bell there is no counter. Hit and run is too strong on him. They've heavy buffed him for that playstyle without any buffs to survivor. Self-care takes a hundred years and he's already down someone before you can heal.
We haven't mentioned tinkerer on him. Just broken.
Silent Bell is only (in my opinion of course thanks for responding). Devastating paired with that brown add-on. And he has a good hit run, but good Medkits and healing perks can really negate this. As well, it's map dependent to how effective he can catch you off guard. A Autohaven map good luck sneaking up. Badham unlikely to even land a hit. I do agree though Tinkerer is very strong on him.
-
And no he needed this Old Wraith was an F tier garbage killer.
-
I consider him balanced now. He has good mobility, hit and run, and his lunge helps at short loops. And good add-ons (All Seeing could use changes). But, still has issues with strong loops, exhaustion perks, healing perks, and his Nemesis Spine Chill.
-
@gendoss said:
The past few times I've played that map it seems like they really diminished the amount of pallets. There's just a ton of loops that used to have pallets that are now completely empty and there are a ton of dead zones? Did that actually happen or am I going crazy?
Nope. Still huge. Still a strong main building. And some jungle gyms right next to line walls or T L wall.
-
@Pulsar said:
Also, speaking of being biased, weren't you the person who insisted old Ormond was balanced and that Nemesis was OP?
Old Ormond?
-
I just want my game to run. It all went downhill after a Binding of Kin.

Thanks everyone I appreciate every single comment here except the trolling ones which reflect none sense
i understand that play killer is so frustrating i play it too its hard
but just try to play solo survivor any single misunderstanding will make a nightmare
survivors side is so so toxic
some players want any reason to gang against there team which is sad
how i can win if i play solo most of the time
and all solo perks become like this💔
all i ask if u not agree with me u all main killers
just read the match please
see the survivors how they act
are they a really teammates
or they ditched someone n troll him/her
be smart
take ur4k
without taking full advantage of bad matchmaking
Nothing you can do. About the intelligence of others.

when did the Halloween chapter redo become a thing? Its completly fine. Everyone is asking for everything no wonder devs are getting overwhelmed. They cant so everything at one time.
Because Michael Myers is in desperate need of improvements. Haddonfield is the most busted survivor map in the game. And half the perks are awful.
-
Also doesn't help when they don't respond to my disagreements

@Sluzzy said:
Dead hard can counter other powers as intended so it does make sense it can dead hard over a trap. Traps need ways to counter actually. Killer mains never say how powerful trapper is for stopping loops.
Nope Trapper is still a garbage F tier killer.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Dead Hard is a perfectly fair and balanced perk. Survivors who make effective use of such a high-skill perk should be rewarded. The perk provides the survivor with a few frames of invincibility, bypassing a bear trap is fair and abides by the perk. Dead Hard is easily accounted for by the killer and experienced Trappers who know a survivor has Dead Hard can effortlessly play around it.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2285142#Comment_2285142
Sprint Burst definitely will be more useful and effective for the average survivor than Dead Hard. Dead Hard is too high skill of a perk, too unreliable for most survivors to get value out of. Even the most experienced Dead Hard users will find that many killers can account for it, bait it out and anticipate its usage. The perk is fair and balanced.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2284934#Comment_2284934
Trapper's Basement is a death sentence for any survivor not running Dead Hard or Decisive. In a situation such as this, Dead Hard can mean the difference between life or death.
Yeah it's true while it shouldn't change Trapper still needs buffs.
-
While I doubt the devs would change this they should definitely give Trapper so many improvements Trapper Sack Base and removal of RNG from his kit.(Exceptions maybe)

We'll be getting an update + more information on lag + RPD map next week.
I just want it work on my Xbox One S
-
So, I do disagree with a lot of what he said on which killers are unenjoyable, but it could just be me.
For example he said they have unenjoyable 1v1s. But, I actually enjoy playing against Doctor and Nemesis. Twins fun to kick the bebe. And I prefer to be slugged over hooked. And twins suck at hooking. Although yes Deathslinger can be oppressive in 1v1, but he kind of needs it because he has no good mobility or snowball
-
Shelter Woods needs a second update such an awfully designed map.
-
If we're lucky a full redo of the Halloween Chapter. Myers rework. Laurie graphical update. Haddonfield rework. Improvements to their weaker perks.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Nobody is saying killers like Slinger and Twins are OP. They. Aren't. Fun. I'm not sure why so many struggle to wrap their head around the concept that something can be technically balanced but unfun overall.
Half the killers they've released since the Freddy rework are "press M2 to zone for free or actually do the thing instead". It's braindead gameplay. It's no accident that most of the killers deemed "most fun" are the ones that actually require a good amount of mechanical skill and have some back and forth in the chase.
Oddly I enjoy playing against a lot of them.

yeah I thought it was around that time. I'm trying to stay positive for performance issues to be fixed but I feel like it's gonna take longer ugh. I just want this game to be playable again.
Me to. Normally it's two hotfixes on the Tuesdays after. Then we get informed on the PTB on the third. I really want to play it. I don't care about the balancing issues or stuff. I want a survivor to genuinely juke me on skill. Not because they lagged away or my animations froze.
-
@Sluzzy said:
Survivors are weak when it is said the majority is bad but killers are just good.
Perhaps killers need some nerfing, most notably in slowdown perks for sure.
I just want teammates who know the basics.

Hopefully we get news soon about what's to come in the mid chapter, don't they usually post the PTB info like 2 weeks after the latest chapter??
I think 3
-
@EntitySpawn said:
Prefer it over rotten fields though, both maps should be removed or completely changed tbh.
Nothing should be removed, but definitely changed.
-
Still think some devs got reverse chainsawed while hiding in a corner.
-
Come Cowshed 1v1
-
I think it's quite oppressive on certain killers Blight, Billy, Freddy. But, not to good on others like the 4.4s. In my opinion the only two perks that can use significant reworks for being too strong or unhealthy is Dead Hard and NOED. So, Tinkerer is balanced.
-
"The ultimate in Alien terror". The first thing I ever did on these forums was post an idea for The Thing. It's my favorite horror movie of all time. And it's implementation would make me spend so much money that skins could never get. And I don't care what the devs said about a shapeshifter. If we got a Clown and the Hillbilly inspiration we can get this. Unfortunately I don't see a lot of support for it here. Which makes me so sad. I keep waiting for the day we get this chapter.

would prefer 2 uses over a 10 second stun
Yes, because with the current 5 seconds you have enough time to reach a safe area. 10 seconds would still be 1 time usage. 2 with 5 seconds is much better and fair. And counter the hardcore tunneler.
-
Nah, two uses would be much better.

I've got a full squad of people healing against... infinite T3 Myers.
Last time I've ran Bond + Open-Handed. 🙄
And yes, we were all red ranks. I was thinking they were new and didn't know about the Exposed status effect...
You know what everyone was excited for buffed Open-Handed with Bond or Kindred. Wonder why no one runs it.

... the chosen one?
The chosen once it is said it would bring balance to the DBD. Many speculate it as a myth. But, few hold out hope.

No it's Solo Q I get people self caring against Legion and Plague. So yes Solo Q are potatoes.

I hear ya fam. I haven't been playing much in the last few weeks either, very little killer when I do.
Used to rock it for hours every day, but in the last year or so it has dwindled, very much in ratio to our frame rates actually.
Pray foe the OMEGA hotfix and Mid-Chapter.

I can't blame you for taking a break right now.
The game isn't really fun.
I'd like to play Nemesis, but it's not possible when your game freezes every time you use your power. Let's pray for the OMEGA hotfix and Mid-Chapter.
-
Because the devs won't make as much money from people buying Bubba or David for BBQ & WGLF.
-
Nostalgia and Potato survivors.
-
In my opinion he needs to have that phenomenal 1v1 or else he'd be trash. Because
1. No mobility
2. Weak snowball
3. No slowdown in his kit.
-
Yeah, he's in the F tier of killer compared to just about everyone. And pray to the Lord, Entity, or whatever deity you worship for buffs.
-
I'll give up on everything. Then I'll dream and wait for the OMEGA Mid-Chapter.
-
I've never taken a break before. Of all the issues with the game. I've never taken a break before. But, when I couldn't play because of the simplest things. I stopped. I'm sad and disappointed. This is one of my favorite games and the fact I can't even play it is awful.
-
They're so slow it's a joke to get hit by them. They're only guaranteed to be truly good on indoor maps.

They're not the same by any means. If you want to tunnel, go ahead and keep tunneling. You don't have to make illogical posts to justify your gameplay.
I don't play like this, but after hearing a bunch of bad tunneling and bad gen rushing posts. I made this post. So how is it not the same? Both are finishing the objective quickly.

It is an asymmetrical game its killer sided from the beginning but now it’s extremely asymmetrical
DS change is so wrong so so wrong for a solo survivor it’s useless
dbd is not a mode game u can choose and play based on that
Old DS was horrendously abusable and needed the nerf. And no this game isn't biased.
Survivors have maps like Badham Preschool, The Game, Groaning Storehouse, and Gas Heaven.
Killers have maps like Shelter Woods, Wrecker's Yard, Dead Dawg Saloon, and Midwich
Survivors have perks like Dead Hard, Unbreakable. and BT
Killers have perks like PGTW, Ruin, and NOED.
Survivors have Med-Kits that heal in an instant
Killers have add-ons that boost their power to another level
Have more proof to show bias? Beyond a change requested from the majority of the community
