Why not? Are they fake? I don't understand what you mean. Kill rate says a lot and if you do the math it makes sense that overall the game is in our favor. [killer]
The kill rates say that Nurse and Blight are some of the weakest killers in the game and Pig the strongest. In a game of Claudettes who self care in corners. See the issue?

I am thanks. Again you failed to even remotely address the point of my posts and instead just chose to react in a juvenile manner. At least I now know who to not bother replying to on the forums.
This is why we need a block feature on these forums - to avoid posters who contribute nothing to the actual conversations.
No, I actually enjoy playing against the Twins that's all.

I’m really not sure how that’s relevant. I’m confused.
Wow, it's a joke on their slow work pace.
-
The three maps left for a definitive rework are Haddonfield, The Swamp, and Forest, and possibly Hawkins unsure, They all suck though excited for their graphics(I like the new Coldwind looks), and for possible good gameplay changes that actually fix issues like Ormond.

I’m sure you all will get your way and they’ll nerf them into the ground, and then you’ll find something else to blame for being bad at the game or having to actually try in a match.
Dude, not every thing is against survivors and I can give many reasons.

@TheClownIsKing said:
What is wrong with everybody?!
The devs made it 100% crystal clear in the 5th anniversary stream that keys are going to be reworked in conjunction with Mori’s being implemented into base game mechanics, and that keys will influence Mori’s somehow.
Can everybody please stop pretending they never said this please!!!
If only they didn't make Burger King Myers look like double engravings Hillbilly.
-
I actually like facing Twins, PH, and Nemesis
-
No clue where you're seeing Clowns I see them as often as Twins or Hag(Also ultra rare). And I stopped caring about legion since he's in my opinion worst killer in the game.
-
@konchok said:
He's the easiest killer in Dead by Daylight to play and the most advanced skill that you can learn with him is his out of stealth dash and lunge. So, his skill ceiling is very low, his skill ceiling is about the same level as his skill floor and he's top of B tier or bottom of A tier.
To put it in another way, he's roughly as strong as Demogorgon but requires much less skill to play well. You could take a killer with about 50 hours in this game and only using Wraith and they'd be able to beat survivors with 200 - 400 hours in this game.
So, OP, Balanced, or Trash?
-
Definitely something that should happen Or having them all spawn in the middle
-
It's not toxic. It's the main objective and gen rushing finishes it as fast as possible. Like tunneling finishing the killer's objective as soon as possible. The only toxic things are tea bagging and hook hitting. And some others

The reason Killer mains complain about this is because its boring.
And so are most recent killers. Survivors deal with Non-interactive killers like Twins or Slinger by... not interacting with them. Run, predriop Pallet, run... Thats why the majority agree those killers have bad design. Eventually, also killer now get the feel after most survivors learned to adept.
Non interactive stuff is always bad.
But, I most kick the bebe. Give me more Twins players.

Consider returning to Hillbilly

Easy. Return to Hillbilly.

Is there anything survivors do that doesn’t warrant toxic killer play styles? I mean let’s be real. Doing a gen at start of match is “gen rushing” lol. Running away is now somehow toxic. A map offering is bming. See where I’m going with this? 🤦♂️
A map offering to one of the best survivor maps in the game where only a select few killers can make it.
-
Wraith is balanced for once. Strong but with counters.

It can be any map but reworked maps tend to be reworked into dead zones, this is a 360 screenshot of where I spawned using windows of opportunities, 0 pallets...
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/IXL0HRUBKJ7S/20210617002657-1.jpg
windows of opportunities, 0 pallets.
Personal experience it's been split. While yes on some maps deadzones are issues that need fixing. It's important not to ignore the maps like Badham which some like Van choose to ignore.
-
@van9684 said:
The ones you mentioned are the issues. Every map that gets reworked comes back better for killers and much worse for survivors. Less pallets, windows gone or boarded up, and these weird dead zones with nothing. Like farm maps. There’s 3-4 sections with just hay and teepees. With a faster killer and range attacks, those areas are a death sentence.
Did you literally just ignore Badham preschool? A map that's commonly an easy survivor win
-
Neither of them are OP

Well they took out the loops and half the pallets because killers whined all day about looping. So there’s that.
Come Badham 1v1 I'll show you these "deadzones"

In Game 2 you don't have to chase the first survivor the whole time. You break some pallets then switch chase and coax the new survivor towards the unsafe area where there are no pallets.
Part of this game is adapting to different situations. Try thinking out of the box and it makes it fun and engaging like game 1.
Or return to Hillbilly we have many spots open.

Survivors complained about Killers like Deathslinger due to the lack of Counterplay at Loops.
Killers told them that Survivors should not only Loop but adapt.
Survivors adapted and figured out that running in a straight Line buys more time against most of the Killers, including those with a very strong Chase Power.
Killers: :O
Don't know why I kind of like those killers with a hard 1v1.
-
@Sluzzy said:
Nope. About the only thing left to nerf is "holding W to run". As other have alluded to, pallets are totally unsafe against most of the killers.
Nemesis totally negates pallets. When he has tier 3, it's unreal. I still think he is slightly weaker than the others.
And they released Trickster where the only thing you can do is run. Dropping a pallet will actually hurt you more than not. 60 uncounterable knives.
What about Badham Preschool with 3 god loop buildings, Killer shack, spread hard to reach gens, good stealth, every loop next to another, and being big? Or The Game with almost exclusively god pallets?

New Cold wind, New Game.
The loops never gone, its just RNG decide to put in 5 pallets
Laughs cruelty in Badham Preschool with every loop chainable.
-
I'd kick the bebe
-
Blast Mine can actually deny a PGTW however. If the killer reaches a gen when PGTW is about to run out the 4 seconds stun gives you time to get away and waste the PGTW/ Which is a huge turnaround. Yeah flashbang is a little hard to use but it's solid. All their perks currently have some good affects. Best to focus on older perks like Distortion or Sole Survivor.

That would only be fair if BBQ had 3 tokens.
BBQ & Chili shouldn't be nerfed, But, Distortion buffed.
-
Still one of those very situational perks

I see this opinion fairly often. But what exactly are those solo and killer buff we talking about here?
The believe one side is extremely weak and needs buffs to have a chance. While I don't believe that's the case.
-
@VexTheHex said:
Nah. Killers now stomp casual SWFs for the most part. Solos are mostly doomed to die with here and there times where all 4 Survivors are solid and the Killer isn't. Killers aren't nearly as weak as the hivemind likes to pretend on here.
A lot of killers aren't as weak as they're portrayed, But many are as weak as they're shown. Solo Qs who know what they're doing will not get curb stomped. For example a God Doctor won't have an easy 4k with survivors who the basics to face Doctor. Like going for lockers familiar with the shock therapy's range and width.
-
@ShinobuSK said:
I think if this game had decent matchmaking, the overal matches would not only be more balanced but also way more fun.
That is the point I'm making with matchmaking just giving you these kind of survivors this is a balanced game.
-
@tippy2k2 said:
Solo Q certainly isn't impossible (I play exclusively Solo Q cause I have no friends!!! :D... D:)
However...
There are a lot of disadvantages Solo Q puts you under that are out of your control. Something as simple as knowing what your teammate is doing gives SWF a huge advantage over the Solo Q player. A game can easily be won or lost by two people rushing across the map to unhook someone because two players just burned 20 seconds instead of one of them finishing the gen because they know the other is going for the save.
Not to mention that when the basics are known, it is pretty balanced but how many of us Solo Q'ers have played with survivors who were toddlers who somehow managed to boot up the game? Part of the roulette wheel of being a Solo Q'er is I can get competent teammates, I can get awesome teammates, I can get three barely sentient potatoes; it's a wheel of luck that seems to land on the sad side way more often than the happy side!
That is the one negative the extremely casual players who choose to not learn the game and do whatever they want. But, I've had matches with those good teammates and we were able to escape.

@van9684 said:
I think they’re going to cut all maps down to just 4 corners, some rocks, and a few trees. That way you can see everyone and catch them with zero effort. Survivors are so entitled. Nothing makes me angrier than them trying to do their objective, or when they run away. Like, hello, why should I have to chase people? Devs don’t care about killers. Smh
Ah yes let's ignore how the reworks have made very strong survivor maps like Badham, Game, Gas Heaven, and Groaning Storehouse. With hard to reach gens, large size, and god loops. Mother's Dwelling is an awful map that desperately needs changes.
-
The map can burn to the ground.
-
@Sluzzy said:
It's overwhelmingly killer sided.
I don't believe so. Survivors and Killers both have plenty of resources for counter play and balance.
-
@van9684 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/261347/is-game-more-on-killer-side
100%, but all you’ll get here is excuses, weird insults, and told it’s you who is not good at the game. That or they’ll say you’re trolling if they cannot answer. This is killer main central and not good ones at that.
you are right though, the game is killer sided and only getting worse.
Survivors still have plenty of strong maps, perks, and items. killers have strong things also in casual this isn't a grossly unbalanced game.
-
@kisfenkin said:
The game is definitely balanced in favor of the killer, unless the survivors play with a four man team over comms.
They ARE constantly nerfing survivors.
All but one of our items were nerfed in the past year and killers are whining for the only one that hasn't been hit yet to be made useless next, keys.
All of our very good perks have been made useless and no great new perks have come out since Metal of Man was nerfed.
Pallets have been made to randomly generate in large bunches and the maps often have huge dead zones.
Sabotage can no longer deal with hooks because there are at least three everywhere you go and Sabatuer/toolboxes were nerfed so the hooks respawn in less time than it takes to blink your eyes.
Look at the challenges in the Tomes. Survivors have to win to achieve a lot of their challenges, while killers have nothing more difficult than doing what they were already doing and nobody can stop them from doing it. How is that challenging?!
There is DEFINITIVE PROOF, the killers have been whining for years and BHVR listened to them. Making the game more and more killer sided.
It isn't grossly unbalanced in Solo Q like you say it its in my opinion.
1.Survivors items are still useful. Med-kits have great add-ons and great healing perk synergy. And can alleviate huge pressure. Maps are great for information. Toolboxes use at the right time can save the game, Flashlights obviously save a survivor from a hook state which could deny PGTW & BBQ good but not OP, and Keys we all know.
2.Survivors still have great perks DS and OoO needed their changes and still have good value although DS can use a slight improvement. MoM can use a rebuff. But they still have SB, DH, UB, BT (buffed), PT, and others.
3.Some new maps have created disgusting dead zones Shelter Woods still needs a survivor buff. But, there are crazy survivor maps like Badham, Game, Gas Heaven, and Groaning Storehouse. So these map changes haven't been biased like everyone makes them to be.
4.Hook spawns are still inconsistent bot biased, but Saboteur can use a buff.
5.Challenges don't prove anything
So no in casual play this is a balanced game.
-
@Survanza said:
Good to know what you guys thinking about it, thanks.
I was just curious about that.
Hm... Still I don't get it, why BBQ don't have tokens and Distortion have 3. It's one of perks what can be very interesting, but in that way it is not worth. What means 3 tokens when BBQ can show my position 9 times (3 x 3 hooks) or what mean 3 tokens when Legion can use his power all the time?
That's weird cause Feng have Technician what is very nice counter to play against Doctor, cause skillchecks goes crazy then or when you just bought game and start playing.
About Jeff's Distortion I can't say the same.
I don't know why it have 3 tokens, why it can't work all time? It cost me 1 perk slot, same as killer's BBQ.
That's not bias that is simply the devs being poor on perk designs. BBQ & Chili has 4 in game perk counters ask if you want. And in my opinion Legion is the worst killer in the game countered by survivor basics.
-
In the casual play it's not grossly unbalanced.
-
I don't consider it an issue for me. I main Hillbilly and Hag. Hillbilly just catches up and Hag just needs to place a trap. As well half the roster can already counter it and there's small maps. Although it can be annoying on big maps.
-

Because those were made with help by the actual developers of the console and not by a smaller team like BHVR.
Ah yes a small company of 700 employees and over 100 million dollars in annual revenue. Xbox One S game barely runs.

Regardless of the issues of the old days. It was fun because at least I could play the game.

@Wedeguy said:
Killers are just cry babies. this forum is so killer sided that they don't want to admit it's so easy to play killer today.
No it isn't like this game not as grossly unbalanced.

Oh yes survivors do frequently hold W but as a Hillbilly and Hag main not a big deal
-
Detective's since it goes beyond totems
-
@gendoss said:
Yes the forums are very biased against survivor which is lame because the stats are in killer's favor anyway and survivors have gotten nothing but nerfs the past few years.

Dead hard is counterable by waiting. There is no waiting concerning Wraith. All he has to do is get on your tail and uncloak and there's nothing survivor can do.
A very boring killer.
Yeah agreed. I find all the stealth killers quite boring to face. Not necessarily strong just boring.
