Ha. Sure it is 🤣. All 5 badhams are total trash
It was hilarious they said well once you take out the buildings it's a killer sided map. They pretended those buildings didn't exist.

Haddonfield currently
Of the reworked maps Badham
If they do an Ormond with Haddonfield and fix core map issues then I'd say Badham. But, I was told Badham was a killer sided map.

Okay gen rushing isn’t a thing lol. Survivors have one objective so what would you suggest they do? Wait in a corner until the killer says “go”? Do you see how absurd that sounds? “Hey everyone, let’s take a few minutes and wait until the killer is ready to begin playing”. Lmao
No it's a thing, but it's fine there's enough killers, perk, and certain maps to deal with it.

I really don't understand the desire of the crown anyways.

A chapter for The Thing the first shapeshifter killer

Add some more things from the lore. In suffocation pit show the mines where the Trapper trapped those miners. In an Autohaven map show the car crusher where the Wraith crushed people. Or in Coldwind allow use to enter the room where Hillbilly was trapped or show his dead parents. Show the dead people like Dead Dawg

Currently I'd say he's in C tier. Still not good but I'm not sure how he'd be buffed

The devs build killers for red ranks, but overdo it. So on all other ranks, survivors are pretty much sitting ducks. Spirit is maybe the most broken killer in the game, but great for players looking for mindless and easy 4K games. Playing killer in this game doesn’t take much skill or development which people like. It’s not until red ranks that survivors start being able to compete, and then killers whine to get survivors, maps, perks, etc. nerfed.
Nope dude, only Spirit needs some nerfs.

What really amuses me is how the song and dance goes: (Note: This does not apply to EVERYONE. I just hear it allot)
Survivors: Tunneling/camping/slugging are toxic! Unfun! Unhealthy! Remove AND punish them! THINK OF THE FUN!
Also Survivors: Flashlight clicking & t-bagging are tactics! Just don't get tilted!
The double standard of 'We got mad; cater to us' and 'Just don't get mad' is astounding, sometimes.
Clicking depends on the situation. But, only tea bagging and hook hitting can be seen as toxic with other things also.

If Spirit has no Counter play why is her Killrate so Low that's its not even 10% better than your average Killer? (5% at best)
I have no problem with Spirits, I use Stealth against her, ask yourself. How do the best playing Survivors do vs. Spirits?

Here is an example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ou8eqghyNik

These players do a lot of things that Trick the Spirit, and ofc they play well themselves.
Could be that Spirit is just really good at capitalizing on poor teammates instead.
And Nurse is the worst killer in the game according to the statistics.

Inifinites were fair too? Because it was a strategy also. Or MoM? You can’t use it with strategy also. Camper and tunnel is easy agsinst solo. My 5 years old cousin can 4k playing this way.
You do know the difference between fair and unfair strategy right? Survivors have enough perks and strong maps to counter tunneling.

Yes his add-ons are total trash, his animations hinder you, and good ole hitboxes.

Spirit with Stridor. Since in the other scenario they can use scratch marks, grass moving, and footsteps.

It's a boring strategy, but it's a fair strategy.

Ah yes; because it's toxic if Killers win in any non-Survivor Approved(tm) way. This includes, but is not limited to: Tunneling, camping, slugging, patrolling a 3 gen, using non-Approved perks, using non-Approved Killers, dodging flashlight saves, avoiding pallet stuns, and more!
Ask a Survivor if playing Killer is right for you!
(Playing Killer is not for everyone. Don't play Killer if you have a heart condition, or if you expect to win. Winning is strictly not Survivor Approved)
Yes that is true Tunneling=Gen Rushing and vice versa.

Stop with this kind of posts sincerely... Dead Hard can be countered very easily, and has a reload time. You must be the same kind of person who asks for a change on Borrowed Time. Most people who use it don't even know how to use it properly. Against an experienced Killer, Dead Hard is mostly used for distance, to get to a location that you couldn't get to without it. The game is in very bad shape right now, this is not the time to come and pollute it with these kinds of requests.
And you seem to forget that a killers smart mindgame and effort could be erased buy the push of a button. I swear mains of both sides are ignorant to other opinions.

Except Dead Hard for distance to a pallet or loop has no counter. And this can be devastating on maps like Badham or the Game. And eliminate a possible good mind game made by a killer. Without the buildings, all the pallets are unsafe. If you get caught in the street with a killer like Huntress you can't go anywhere. Some times hardly any pallets spawn in the big building and with the walls boarded up.
But, there's 3 buildings all of them very strong loops. Some of the best in the game. The gens are hard to defend. It's a big map. And the preschool always has pallets spawns around it.

The fact that you think the very few people who agreed with you are a 'majority' is kind of silly.
Also, the part you keep ignoring about NoED, because it does not fit your 'NoED is unhealthy' narrative, is that Survivors can turn it off before it ever activates. You just say 'But what if they can't?' and think that makes you right.
You also ignore that the Killer plays with 3 perks for the entire match, banking on the Risk Vs Reward playstyle of NoED, to clean up in the endgame. Instead, you pretend the Killer is strong through the whole match, or that Survivors are punished for playing well.
Because speaking the truth about NoED does not fit your narrative. You just want people to think It's broken and in need of a change because you, personally, don't like it.
But all those people agreeing with you? They are not the majority. They are a vocal minority. And most of them are pretty obvious about how they just want to nerf Killers for easier Survivor matches.
But keep pretending 'the majority' agrees with you. It's as false as your arguments about how 'unhealthy' NoED is.
Once again; Your opinions on second chance perks are SUBJECTIVE. The fact that you ignore those parts of the perk's balance that don't fit your narrative shows how dishonest your argument is. And if your argument is built on a false narrative, then how can people believe it?
I give up. Nothing will change your mind.

That's not what I see. I see matches totally controlled by the killer regardless of the survivors. It doesn't have to be Spirit, it can be a Huntress. Or a Blight. Or a Leatherface. The good killers in rank 1 are unstoppable, totally unless it is a top SWF and that leaves everyone else out. Too much buffing for killers, especially perks and maps are becoming very killer sided. I remember the Autohaven maps being a fair chance to win, now it is a free win for killer. Leatherface simply moves around the map instantly downing everyone due to no pallets.
If chests are in the game, why is it not balanced so there is enough time to loot them? With a fast killer, there is no time to loot or find totems so it turns into a win for killer. It shouldn't be balanced for a coordinated genrush ignoring chests and everything else in the game.
Still think too much is expected from the 4. They have to play perfectly, loop perfectly while it is easier for killer to not worry about those things.
No they just need to know the basics that's all I need by teammates to know the basics. And we could win. As well the map changes aren't skewed to one side. What are your opinions on Badham Preschool?

I don't get the question. Those perks can cover mistakes. This does not make them 'unhealthy'.
You're personal opinion on second chance perks does not make those perks objectively bad for the game. And you've given no real evidence or arguments to make anyone think these perks are a problem for anyone but people who subjectively dislike them.
It's not unhealthy that a killer who made a mind game that would otherwise be a down can have their smart play erased by the push of a button? Or a survivor who worked their butt off all game was able to lead the killer on chases can have their effort eliminated by the lighting of a totem? Thanks for totally not understanding all my claims while the majority of the community wants these perks changed. They reward players for making mistakes. That's why they need to be changed why should players be babysat for making mistakes?

They do what they are meant to do; help players who are falling behind.
What do you THINK Dead Hard is supposed to do? make flowers and lollipops? It denies a hit.
NoED is SUPPOSED to stay hidden all game until it activates, if it could be cleaned on ONE totem before endgame, it would be utterly garbage. The point of totems is to be an unknown threat that hangs over Survivor's heads and forces them to totem hunt. This was the answer to two things:
- Killers complaining about gen speeds
- Survivors complaining they had nothing to do but fix gens.
Only now Survivors are saying 'Doing gens is boring! But I don't want to do bones! Hex perks are unhealthy! Let me hold E on a gen! But give me something else to do! BUT NOT BONES!'
It's almost like Survivor mains true goal is to just nerf Killers into not being a threat, because even when being given what they wanted (a second objective), they claim it's 'unhealthy' or 'OP' because it ALSO gave Killers power.
So the same as covering their mistakes?
-
No, the devs totally care about fixing this game. Why they fixed the OP walk on a rock technique for one loop for one map from over thirty maps.
-
@Power_Guy said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2320174#Comment_2320174
I never said the game is broken. You're the one saying the game is 'unhealthy' because of NoED and DH.
And the point of perks is to:
- Support your play style
- Shore up weaknesses in your play style
- Or give you a chance when you make a mistake.
You not liking second chance perks does not make them broken or, as you put in your excuse, 'unhealthy'.
So you believe both of them are fine? Even if it denies a hit to a killer or downs the survivor who'd been a team player all game?

Getting hit by the killer is not playing poorly. Not sure where this concept ever started. Survivors can run a killer for quite some time before getting hit - getting hit does not mean you played poorly.
Not healing yourself is not playing poorly - especially if there is only one or two gens to complete.
Running to a hook to save someone from dying while you are injured is not playing poorly - it is a risk reward decision a survivor has to make.
Stop saying injured survivors are playing poorly. That's like saying if a killer EVER misses an attack they played poorly.
If every survivor played "good" according to people who say DH is a reward for playing poorly - then you would get ZERO kills because you would never injure anyone. That's just nonsensical.
I personally never run DH because I think it is one of the worst exhaustion perks in game. I have way more success running Lithe or Sprint Burst than I do DH. As a killer I LOVE when survivors have DH - way easier to counter that than an attentive survivor with SB/Lithe.
This is the last comment I am ever making on any threads which discuss either of these perks - since every thing that can be said - has been said ad nauseum. Neither perk should change imo - they are both crappy perks to use and waste a perk slot for a perk that can help a player out way more.
Remaining injured is not screwing over the killer often times it's the smart decision. What is screwing them over is while in a chase the killer preforms a great mind game that gets the survivor. That survivor has the ability to push a button to erase getting out played and make it to safety.
-
@Power_Guy said:

But if a Killer is playing well, they DO NOT NEED an endgame perk. You're basically invalidating NoED by making it's requirement be the fact that it's not needed.
The point of NoED is a comeback mechanic. The fact that you think it's 'unhealthy' to give the Killer a comeback mechanic shows you just want to nerf the Killer. You're basically saying 'It's unfair that the Killer can get a comback mechanic. A mechanic I CAN TURN OFF AHEAD OF TIME, but I don't wanna!'
NOED is a Second Chance perk. If the killer fails to finish his objective and gets outperformed he can have a perk to cover his mistake. It's the same as DH where your mistake for playing poorly can be erased. A killer shouldn't have a perk that can erase his mistake like how DH can erase a survivors mistake. But by your beliefs survivors can't have a second chance perk, but killers should because everything is against them and need things like Ruin base kit. Fun fact this game isn't grossly unbalanced like you make it seem.
-
@Power_Guy said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2320124#Comment_2320124
You don't seem to get, or maybe don't care, that NoED would be 100% useless if it lit up at the start of a match.
It only works at the end of a match, so it only lights up at the end of a match. This is called 'balance'; that pesky thing that keeps Survivors from having an 'I win' button, no matter how hard they ask for one.
Survivors CAN counter NoED early by cleansing all totems, but the 'balance' (There's that word again!) to that is the additional time spent getting every totem.
This is balanced. It's not unfair. It's no OP. It's not 'unhealthy' or whatever smoke screen Survivors will invent next week to hide the nerfs they want. It. Is. Balanced.
NOED should be altered into a different endgame perk that gains strength from the killer performing well earlier. This way the killer is rewarded for playing well. To prevent moments where he is rewarded despite playing poorly in the early game. And not the chance to be an easy second chance perk. Like NOED and DH currently are designed as. And please stop saying I have no concept of balance.
-
@Power_Guy said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2320075#Comment_2320075
But NoED does not DO anything early, so why should it be VISIBLE early? Just so Survivors know to cleanse ASAP and ensure it never procs?
To not screw over survivors it shouldn't reward killers for playing poorly. Like how DH screws over killers when survivors play poorly. Both are second chance perks.

you do realize that hex perks are suppose to in theory be seen as risk/reward threats not some useless perk that can get cleansed 30 seconds in the match
hex perks use to mean something but survivors just don't want to run anti-totem perks
But, all hexes minus NOED start at the beginning so you can have the time and chance to discover them and plan against accordingly.

Did I @ or quote you? No???? OK then.
My post was commenting on those who make the usual inane comments when either DH or NOED comes up.
Neither perk needs changed IMO. They both have pros and cons. Killer mains want DH gone... Survivor mains want NOED gone. This discussion has been ongoing for years. Neither side looks objectively at the other and offers the same tired replies over and over. Just mains being mains on these forums...as usual. Again...for emphasis - I think both perks are fine and - I use neither of them. I would rather have a perk like Thanatophobia on killer and Lithe or Sprint Burst on survivor.
My mistake. But, you literally said you as in calling out a singular person behind this post who sees everything written here.

dead hard is used throughout the entire match
NOED is only active 5% of the match and half the time it never activates if they do all 5 bones.
You do realize the power of that if?
-
@Jasix said:
So you think survivors should waste a MINIMUM of 90 seconds doing totems, but get mad because Dead Hard adds 10-15 seconds in a chase IF the survivor is already injured?
This of course doesn't include any time to FIND the totems - to which you say: Use 25% of your perk slots to help you find totems?
As a killer I would MUCH rather someone have DH than Sprint Burst or Lithe - both of which will give a survivor much more distance than DH and can easily help them not get hit in the first place.
I don't have a problem with NOED as a survivor, but never run it on my killers because I honestly think it is a waste - I would rather take perks that help me get kills before EGC.
Where did I say it was fine? Thanks for a suggestion out of no where in a post where I criticize both perks and list the reasons the change should happen. And Dead Hard can extend chases so much longer on so many maps with such strong loops like Badham or Asylum

I'd think the Nurse outplayed me, and she took a risk that she could keep NoED protected, and it paid off. They gambled they could keep NoED alive until the end game, and they succeeded.
Heaven forbid a Killer use a High Risk/High Reward perk like NoED and Gasp Be rewarded!
That's simply not allowed, according to Survivor mains! Apparently Killers should never be rewarded for playing well! It's 'unhealthy' for Killers to play well! 🤦♂️
Fine whatever you think
