Because you shouldn't have to nerf every ######### Killer thing that we have.
Like ######### man, Leave her the ######### alone. pissin' me off that EVERYONE and their mother wants her nerfed to high heaven.
Go play spirit against 4 Good survivors. she still won't win,
and if Nurse can't win either, then no killer needs a nerf. period
Those aren't good reasons to have her not nerfed. The majority of this game are casual play where this game isn't grossly unbalanced. A Spirit who will likely run Stridor with the other good perks and strong add-ons. Will beat good survivors in the casual setting. So please answer, why would giving her an indication she is phasing totally ruin her when she still as many things going for her?

Nerfing spirit is basically Nerfing blight.
It'd be a waste of time. she can already be countered by good survivors.
It comes down to skill on how to use her properly, especially against good survivors.
Go watch Oracle vs Dowsey's spirit. look how he struggled to even get a 1k,
I don't get what you mean by nerfing Spirit is nerfing Blight. So please explain. As you mentioned Dowsey does he play Spirit much? Spirit does take skill to perform well. But the standstill mindgame doesn't. So I'll ask again how would an indication she's phasing butcher her while she'll still have plenty of other things for her to work with?
-
Boring Spirit and The Stalky Bois
-
It would if your teammates actually knew how fast it went and didn't run away.

Just run away. lol
and hope to god you can make the spirit miss.
Like i stated a crapton of posts ago. Spirit is a Unique killer. you can't change her without gutting her.
That's probably why the devs are scared to change her. So, explain to me how letting us know she's phasing (she'll still have her current add-ons, perk synergy, and not the idea I've heard where while phasing she's is shown periodically). Would totally butcher her when she'll still have a good 1v1, with some mobility, and a snowball chance.(Though weaker then Nurse or Oni).

Spirit can still lose. Nurse can still lose. Blight can still lose.
This is a Survivor Sided game.
Just adapt and get better at survivor before complaints are being made
No, in the more casual play which is the majority this game isn't unbalanced. And tell me what do I do at this standstill mindgame what interactive skill do I make. How do I get better at guessing?
-
@Power_Guy said:
Why? Because people get tricked, the trick should be removed?
Ok; Remove Trapper's traps, because people step in them! It's so unfair that we can't see them around corners or in tall grass! It's all mindgames on where he places them! If you guess wrong, he can just pick you up, even if you're Healthy!
And remove Hag's traps! They are nearly impossible to see! It's also a mindgame, and it means we have to waste time crouch-walking! AND she can teleport to them! Her kit is so OP and overloaded!
(And before people say I'm off topic; I'm using the exact same excuses they use to want Spirit nerfed.)
Except you to know where to look and how to disarm their web of traps that's on the survivors if they allow those two to setup. You know what they're doing. Hag is balanced. Trapper is garbage. Those two are extremely different from Spirit. While Spirit with one mechanic not even touching her add-ons, perk synergy, or seeing her every so and so seconds while she's phasing.(Actually iffy on that happening). This will eliminate that interaction where survivors are forced to make a lucky guess. Which gameplay wise isn't interactive, healthy because this isn't a mindgame where skillful play is made this is standing still. Also, this wouldn't butcher Spirit.
-
@Verconissp said:
Nope.
It' should stay imho.
just have to be Effective at gens and get out quickly my guy,
Well I can see what you mean. This already gives Spirit her impossing 1v1 even greater leeway for nothing for standing still. And she's not like Deathslinger where he has a very good 1v1 while being weak elsewhere. She has mobility and better snowball. And it doesn't feel good to vault into her because you had no indication. And once again trusting Solo Q while I've been more Lucky then other I've still had plenty of Meg Heads. You can remove this from Spirit but she won't be weak still one of the best.

So you removing something that you can 50 / 50?
My god... lol
It's entirely unhealthy and boring that a mechanic such as standing still can be a thing. It has no interaction that is enjoyable beyond a lucky guess. Also not skillful. People can't read minds you know.
-
He's very simple. With a power which is run & stab which you already do. Don't like to face him or play as him. Also worst killer in the game.

Don't worry they'll nerf her. Why get better when you can cry for nerfs.
Can standstill mindgame go?
-
@Verconissp said:
Spirit is 100% fine. quit complaining about killing a S tier killer.
People will complain about killers nowadays...jesus..
Can we remove the stand still mindgame?
-
Honest opinion he needs to be left in his current state. Any changes to his 1v1 could be devastating since he sucks so much in the two other pinnacles of a good killer Mobility and Snowball. No clue why there's more Slingers.
-
Now for those wondering despite the majority of this community wanting a Spirit change (not a vocal minority been told those who didn't want a Hillbilly nerf were a vocal minority). And the devs haven't done it is they don't know how to do so. I'm genuine they have no clue how to do it correctly. At most please just let us know she's phasing Standstill mindgame isn't fun.
-
Deathslinger is the prime example but I find a lot of the other killers who are said to be too oppressive quite fun to go against. And Slinger needs that oppressive 1v1 like you said because he is so weak in the other two pinnacles of a strong killer Mobility and Snowball.
-
Only a few killers will survive on that map use to be good for stealth killers.
-
Your daily reminder of poor optimization. Lagged back into a Spirit who then DC'D via crashing console.
-
I'm getting some Iri Shards which is nice.

Nurse = Couldn't keep up, even when blinking, they gen rushed
Hillbilly = Got two which is fine, but the others found a key
Oni = 1 dc-ed at the start, but i was countered by a broken window loop and pallet loops
Legion = got a 4k, but it was at the very end because a survivor kept looping me with a light and somehow knew where i was going even if it was behind a wall
How much do you play those three first killers? they're on the stronger end of the tier list.
-
Which killers were being used?
-
I'm excited for all of them would've been nice to have word on them since they're all awful.
-
He's in a perfect spot a good power with good add-ons (All Seeing Blood can be nerfed). But, his strength can be based on luck a lot. Like if there's Exhaustion or Healing perks both do good damage against him.

I don't think Spirit is unbeatable. I've beaten her plenty of times. I do think her lack of interaction is a problem.
Please, eliminate the standing still mindgame. It's not that fun to hope to be lucky. And this power must be reserved only for Insidious Bubba.

I was speaking in general, on cowshed you have to try and stick to one part of the map cause yes its rough otherwise.
If your not healing vs legion is has an instadown too, sure he doesnt have the otherstuff but if nobody is healing every one is exposed at all times and that first hit is pretty quick. I know with michael you mean pop the power and down them but realistically how many times can you do that in 1 match 3? 4 if youre super lucky?
That's fair but the best slowdown is well downs.

Thats like saying give michael t3 minus the vault action speed permanently and its no big deal because survivors that know the basics destroy him. If nobody is healing they are exposed and most tiles at a high level are 50/50. If i chase 2 of you, one of those is probably ending in a hook. If people continue not healing i have a chance to snowball. I get what youre saying, at a high level they are weak, just not as weak as some of the others. Like clown that has less map pressure than legion and NEEDS people to not heal or trickster thats cucked by most loops on tge map, or trapper that just needs one dude running around untrapping and then has 0 power. Or michael that trades early game pressure for a power legion gets for free and unlimited. I like michael and trapper, and i can do really well with them especially trapper, but if im facing a swf and have to pick one of these im taking legion every time
Well, the whole I'll secure a down is really up to RNG sure if it's say Sanctum you'll get that down, but if you're at Cowshed it's gonna be brutal not having a chase power. Where Clown could do better with his anti-loop (yes not the best but more then Legion and with perks and add-ons in play it can make it better). Michael I also consider stronger because, instantdown, longer lunge, and faster vault for better snowball and once more add-ons and perk to make this better. Trickster and Trapper also up to RNG that could decide who's worst but once more add-ons and perks in play.

Theyre weak but i wouldnt put them in the bottom 3. I love their power but it needs more lethality
The reason they're in my opinion the worst it's not that threatening if you get injured since Legion has no chase power which is a big issue. So they won't waste time healing and just do gens. So the moment you get survivors who just know the basics Legion is doomed.

Okay, I'll gladly take more Blights

@Edgars_Raven said:
Sorry but the laceration meter is half his problem. This doesnt seem to fix that but make it worse. Hes a 110 killer that cant down people with his knives in 1 hit. So those hits NEED something else. It shoukd be that every knife that lands the survivir shoukd have to spend 1 second in an animation removing them (so if he lands 10 knives and you get away you shoukd have deep wounds applied and spend 10 seconds getting rid of it).
Compare him to bubba, bubba has a 1 shot up close but still suffers from having no map pressure. Trickster is 110, and his power is weaker than that.
Hes still the worst killer in the game
We have some disagreements there I see on who's the weakest

@Kebek said:
I don't really care as I like facing her. Trapper buffs would be far bigger disaster for me (as much as he needs it).
Besides, she's strong but there are killers who need work far more then she does. First help the bad killers before wrecking the good ones.
Agreed as much as Spirit is frustrating to face it's more important to buff the C and F tier Killers
-
@Power_Guy said:
Why does Laceration decay faster when running? Running from Killers is what Survivors do!
Once again, the devs show promise, then stumble in the end zone. The decay meter was perfectly fine; not too slow, not too fast.
Now? 10 bloody seconds, and even faster if the Survivors aren't stupid, since RUNNING IS WHAT YOU DO AS A SURVIVOR.
Here's an idea in the same vein; Deep Wounds now Mends if Survivors run. We think this will really balance Legion! 🤦♂️
Sorry to get so frustrated, but the buffs seemed fine, and then they spike Legion 3 inches from a touchdown. That decay nerf is unneeded, unwarranted, and so completely over the top.
It's like they just CANNOT buff a Killer without panicking and giving them some sledgehammer nerf to 'compensate'.
The 6 knife change is strong enough it counters those changes.
-
Don't forget the Trapper love

Allegedly one of the devs on a discord said that trickster was gonna get buff this chapter, but they were delayed till the next one. And twins don't need buffs they already are strong.
The devs showing their continued appreciation of Trapper
-
On a less furious note. Hopefully continued buffed to previously weak perks, more map changes(one of the few to enjoy them), as well a killer change.
-
By the grace of god if they do nothing that the community wants. I will pull Last Year out of the ground and make it work!!!!!!!!!!!

Hillbilly counters pre drop and holding W, Hag wants the pre drop and good placement counters holding W, Bubba counters pre drop, Demogorgon counters pre drop and Hold W with Zoning and shred, Slinger zoning and quick shots to counter Hold W, Nemesis counters pre drop.

Hillbilly(Pre-drop and Hold W), Bubba(Pre-Drop), Nemesis(Pre-drop), Demogorgon(Pre drop and Zoning), and Slinger(Zoning and Hold W)

Difference is even a god huntress has some counter play in a chase. A god slinger is just hoping that he misses
But, Huntress is still stronger though of course.
-
Deathslinger is boring but he needs that strong 1v1. Otherwise he sucks hard. Because he has no mobility and no great snowball. The other two pinnacles of a strong killer.
-
@BioX said:
Name me two killers that are worse
Legion and Trapper. Legion has no chase. With a power countered by basics that hurts him in particular. And Trapper will have some his power denied by being on the other side of the map. And a slow start with less payoff then Hag.
