I don't think that's true.
Playing Spirit doesn't magically make you good at the game.
Competent solo teams will slam gens. Even a 40 second chase could lose you the game at that point.
If a killer can take you to red rank without requiring you to put more than the bare minimum effort into learning how the game works, it’s an issue.
-
Yes, it’s one of my favourite parts of DBD. If anyone wants specific recommendations, Plague, Jane, Wraith all have great tome lore.

I disagree, simply based off the fact that most Red Rank Survivors are complete potatoes.
Okay, but even the potato spirits can beat competent solo queue teams

I honestly can't play Spirit at all.
I can 4k with everyone else, besides Nurse.
That’s fine, but that makes you an extreme outlier. If you made most of the spirit players at red rank play another killer, they’d do way worse.
-
Using it at all is wrong.
-
Yes, and there hasn’t been a single compelling argument as to why she shouldn’t be changed from any of the people on that side. If she’s going to be as strong as Nurse, she needs to be much harder to play. It’s either nerfing her, or increasing her challenge level to actually be ‘hard’.
Even people who struggle to get one kill with other killers can reliably 4K with her, she’s disgustingly busted.
-
Tinkerer should have a cooldown, when much weaker perks have 2 minute cooldown
-
What unrelenting gamers think the perk does for them
-
He’s not OP, but he is extremely easy to play
-
Thanataphobia is the most overused killer perk, easily. It’s really weak, other than on Nurse, Legion and Plague.
-
The stun should come with a free Iron Will and no scratch marks for 10 seconds, if they actually want it to be a perk to hard punish killers. It’s literally meaningless against high mobility killers if there’s nothing nearby to use.
-
Damn this is a lot of replies.
Main issue I have is lag with Doctor skill checks

Depends on who the target is. If its the poor potato that goes down in 5 seconds, then it's really the best choice. If the killer gets rid of someone asap, then they remove a lot of pressure and can stress a little less.
Yes, but most survivors at red rank can last more than five seconds.

You're talking about hard tunneling where the killer just chases one person all game. I'm talking about tunneling someone on death hook near the end of the game to slow the gens down
Again, it will make zero difference at that point. You’re just giving a free escape to the other three survivors. It’s basically just playing scummy without any reward.

Actually the opposite 3 survivors is weaker than 4. Especially at end game where there's less gens
By the time you’ve tunnelled and killed them, all the gens will fly and it doesn’t matter if you down them, because they’ll have plenty of hook time left to escape. Inefficient and annoying strategy, pressure the gens and maybe you’ll do better.
-
If anyone is expecting changes to Billy, they’re probably going to be very disappointed
-
Tunnelling is almost always a terrible strategy anyway, zero pressure is being applied.
-
Demise of the faithful, basically the only one with a good killer, good survivor and decent map.

I think counterforce should be buffed so it is a random totem and not the one farthest away. This is like an advantage for the killer because you waste time going across the entire map to maybe not even find the totem.
Again Killer perks are so easy for killers to get huge benefit from such as Ruin, NOED, Infectious Freight. Look at Corrupt Intervention: stalls the game at the beginning for doing nothing. Survivor perks require a lot of effort and it might not work.

Corrupt, Bitter Murmur, Pop, Iron Maiden
-
They’re not, even though it would take virtually zero effort to implement. It’s a joke honestly.
-
As you said, there are various totem defence perks that can help with counterforce. It’ll be more equal between totem defence and attacking. Also, people hardly ever use new perks, so it won’t be in every game or anything like that.
Hex perks shouldn’t be an auto win, the killer shouldn’t be able to just stick Ruin or Devour on and forget about it. Also, a survivor will be wasting their time cleansing every totem in most games.

That is mean new chapter will be without map? After RE.
Yes, only one of the next three chapters will have a map.
-
I don’t think any of them will get, other than MAYBE the trickster. Devs confirmed we’re only getting 2 maps this year, one being RE map. That leaves only one for another new character to have.
-
Never, it’s a SWF perk through and through.
-
The Last of Us hopefully, even if it was just Ellie as a survivor.
-
The BP parts of the perk should just be base kit.

Well actually i will not use Nemesis perks, i did not like them. Except Eruption. This perk can be good on some builds, i will try.
Eruption is gonna be a good combo with other regression perks, yes.
-
Lethal pursuer is a really good killer perk, you never have to deal with searching for survivors for 30 seconds, and you can interrupt multiple people easily.
-
Hopefully it’s working as intended, I went from rank 1 to 9 and it was hell.
-
Easiest killer to bully in the game doesn’t need a nerf
-
Bubba and Wraith take zero skill to play, even at red rank.
-
It isn’t OP, just extremely boring to go against. The most fun part of the game is the chase, and bamboozle removes any creativity on the survivor’s part. This results in holding w constantly, and it just isn’t worth the matchmaking wait for that kind of game.
It’s one of the ‘no fun’ perks, alongside Franklin’s, NOED, and Crowd Control.

@QwQw said:
You mean, you're getting mad at the killer for playing smart/effectively?
It’s not even that efficient, two people are working on gens and you’re not pressuring them at all.
-
I feel like her two iri add ons should be combined tbh as one add on
-
What a terrible idea lol. Killers are already disgustingly strong at lower ranks, stop gatekeeping new players from the game.
-
It’s too easy
-
Should the devs disable Lery’s, Midwich, Dead Dawg, Hawkins, shelter woods? No, they should just balance the maps more.
-
@Mooks said:
For the people might be another perk suitable thematically or Inner Strength
Yeah, those were two others that I considered. Could replace object with inner strength for dure
-
Hillbilly’s base kit isn’t the issue, it’s his add ons
-
Every game I’m having is four red rank survivors (inc me) against a green rank killer who gets one down at the end of the game and facecamps. This is terrible.
-
It’s just awful game after awful game
-
Don’t tempt us
-
Just dance chapter when
-
@Hex_Ignored said:
This would only be okay if the dances are accompanied by a light show and fireworks and a massive "suck it baby killer!" banner over the exit gate
That would be a great idea for the ultra rares!

@MadLordJack said:
I know this is a joke post, but really I don't like the idea of mocking people for "losing" as the far more difficult side.
Unless you really want survivor ques to breach the one-hour mark, that is.
They can introduce a Hex perk to block dance moves
-
If you think killers are weaker than solo survivors, then we’re playing a different game
-
Do we think they’d get approval for the licensed characters to do the moves? Not sure how it would work
