Simple fact....This game is geared towards toxic play. Killers and survivors, who gave up trying to actually play the game, and just and use every overpowered perk and trick to tunnel and harass others until people rage quit to get away from the game. Developers you need to nerf overpowered killers. You also need to even the field, not give advantages. Make the game equal. Just because there are 4 survivors doesn't mean you need to overpower a killer, or there perks, to compensate. Nor do you need to give perks and abilities to survivors that make playing killer irritating. Simply put, even the field. Take away speed advantages. Give better offensive perks to survivors. Take away unfair advantages from both groups. This game used to be fun to play single or as a group. Now it's so toxic that you are losing players. Fix this game. Bottom line.
"Just because there are 4 survivors doesn't mean you need to overpower a killer, or there perks, to compensate."
LOL WHAT.

Depends. As someone who used to use self care a lot its important to understand when to use it. If you have no available objective for example (Killer is too close to work on a gen or camping the hook) Self care can be used while you wait, or if it's down to just you and another person it lets you heal without you both getting too close to eachother.
I fail to see how this aids me as a police officer.
-
I think after a few weeks of this Survivor bully squads will get so bored of lying on the ground they will move on to something else.
It's a fad, same way people freaked out over Lucky Break.
-
As a Leon Main, I do not understand how the Bush self-caring in the corner helps me in any way.
-
I cannot believe you made a thread called Space Cowboy in a DBD context and didn't find a way to reference Maurice. Shame on you.

Autohaven's still pretty dark. Midwich is dark too, but it's mostly an indoor map.
The rest, eh. And Ormond, Coldwind, and Eyrie desperately need the lights turned down. Just straight up middle of the day lighting. Not only is it awful for atmosphere, it's crap for game balance because several things were designed on the basis that maps would have low lighting as a default and get screwed over every time they load into the increasing spread of maps that don't apply. Have fun being a Ghostface, a Trapper, or a Blendette with Lucky Break on Eyrie of Crows.
I just miss the old Coldwind Maps with extra Fog.
-
I miss the dark game. And the fog. Is any map really dark anymore?

What if all 4 survivors are running COH?? You gonna tunnel them all at the same time??
That is the thing about CoH. You only need one. One CoH can heal any number of Survivors any number of times. You do not even need four. And there is no way of knowing which one brought it. So your only choice is to tunnel anyone that is injured before you can boon-heal again.

so still better than overcharge mechanic
I can think of a better way to get 250 bloodpoints.

I strongly disagree you’re point about COH. And it was also just nerfed.
A killer playstyle used to be to hit and run and then pick off injured Survivors. This was the primary wraith playstyle. CoH guts that entirely. You cannot leave the Survivors alone. It forces tunnelling in a lot of scenarios.
And that "nerf" was something like 3 seconds or less, depending. It did not stop or solve the problem at all.
-
I don't give a damn about her anti-loop.
I care about the fact that she can shut down the three gen so badly it is like having three info perks at once.
-
Scott Jund and Otzdarva, two of the most famous Killer Mains ever with thousands of hours each, do not have trouble with Killer.
Ergo, Killer is not hard.
This is forum math.
-
I played Ghostface just a few hours ago and was revealed four times when I was completely behind an object.
I really don't wanna hear it.
-
Killers have not been nerfed as a whole, but Survivors have been given new tools at a disparate rate. The only really good Killer perk to come out in a while was Pain Resonance, and maybe Starstruck. And you can work around Starstruck.
Survivors got things like Circle of Healing, which completely gutted an entire Killer playstyle.

Closing the hatch was intended to be just a way to stop the endless hatch standoff. No more, no less. It just so happened it turned out to be an overwhelming buff to killers, but it wasn't the intent.
You didn't answer my question.

So far, in my 289 games, we've seen NOED at a rate of about 26%.
God I wish the Dead Hard hard pick rate was that low.
-
If keys are basekit what is the point of closing the hatch?

@Withered8 said:
Killer entitlement, complaining about survivors when killers have an over 70% winrate...
Show me which Killer has this 70% you are talking about.
Also, as an aside... we cannot "resurrect dead totems". One Hex lets you light a crushed totem, but it does not bring a totem back. It just fuels Hex: Pentimento. The original Hex is still dead.

I have nothing against a TTV as long as they are alone.
If I see FOUR TTVs in one lobby, I will dodge that faster than a bullet in the Matrix.
I am not here to be a full Twitch crew's party clown.

It is US VERSUS THEM because it is a PvP game.
There are literally two sides.
It is literally "us versus them".
I have no idea why people get offended at this idea.
-
I agree. The game should have a hard time limit of 20 or 30 minutes. There is no way a game of Dead By Daylight can take more than 19 minutes unless one side is actively refusing to do an objective.
-
Useless or weak add-ons?
You need to get in line behind Pyramidhead.
-
Best map in the game. You win or lose because you know the map, not because some lucky-ass pallets spawned next to each other facing a long wall into the Shack.
People act like this map is huge. It's nothing. It's four wings. Two upstairs, two down. Totem spawns are consistent. If there is any flaw with this map it is that for some reason the hatch can spawn upstairs.
Only a coward DC's against this map.

I was made aware recently that apparently Behavior care SO much about equality, but we STILL don't have shirtless female characters. We don't even get swim suit attire either! I believe a full nude Jane skin should make up for this injustice. Thanks,

Why would you pick the most hideous female Survivor?
-
Things that would "fix" killer for me:
• Rework Freddy and bring back the real Freddy with Englund. With Voice Lines!
• Remove Dead Hard from the game.
• Nerf Iron Will so it is not 100% at purple tier. Even if it just 70/80/90%. Stridor should not be useless.
• Recode the zombies so they cannot get stuck in place.
• If you refuse to change Contamination hit speed boosts, at least buff the hell out of Licker Tongue.
• Revert the Deathslinger nerf to quickscoping. At the bare minimum fix being a 110 speed killer with a 32m terror radius.
• Remove the penalty to Twins basically getting Decisive Strike'd for using their power correctly.
• Fix Myers so that he isn't worthless basekit but overpowered with add-ons. That gap needs to be closed.

I had a game against a nurse that ended with the nurse getting first hook in the basement, 4 gens left and the killer decided to proxy camp the survivor, I decided to just quit, I wasn't in the mood for that type of lazy gameplay. I had another game where I had to wait for a demo to find the hatch first before hooking me, because he was afraid I would wiggle off, before any killer mains comment, no I did not have a wiggle build. I just can't figure out why killers are so desperate for 4ks, are the devs giving away cash prices, when did this game become so toxic, can I get a normal game without killers playing like there lives depend on it
Why are Survivors so desperate to escape?

Like c’mon, seriously? People are asking for Boil Over to be nerfed already and even kill switched. Let’s see, Circle Of Healing got nerfed from the PTB version and killers still cried about it, It’s now getting nerfed AGAIN and people still aren’t happy with the upcoming changes to it, The bone chill event was claimed to be a “survivor sided” event so claimed by SOME killer mains, and dead hard is arguably complained about more than COH and DS on a daily basis. I just don’t get it… You guys claim you’re “tired of the meta” yet when something gets changed to shake the meta up it gets called for nerfs.
Uhh... yes, an event in which a Survivor can extend any chase by leaping into a free health state was 100% Survivor Sided.
-
The unholy trinity are Blight, Wraith, and Spirit. They could be deleted from the game and I'd be happy.

You have 2 types of survivors. Those who are bored of classic killers and those who only sit on gens
I'm bored of being run down at Mach 4.

No, it is not. A second matters. I have had tons upon tons of situations where 1 second would free me. More than I can count. And if it's so negligible, why is it there? Why not remove it? Why sneak the buff in AT ALL?
And since the skill checks aren't like real skill checks, they never move and it's a simple rhythm. If you can play guitar hero on the easiest mode, you can hit these skills checks in the great section 100% of the time, especially if you play a lot. If they were like real skill checks where the great section is near the edge, then it would be different. But they intentionally made it easier.
I am again cool with the skill checks and like those but there was no reason to put the buff in and it would have been easier to NOT put it in then it would be to argue with everyone that it's not that big of a deal. I just don't get why it was put in.
Take the number of times a Survivor is picked up. Now subtract the number of times they were saved by a flashlight. Now subtract the number of times the nearest hook was sabotaged. Now subtract the number of times the Survivor was hooked in so fewer seconds no amount of wiggling would matter.
Got that number? That is the number of times the survivor would be hooked from wiggling. Now take THAT number and subtract the number of times that Survivor got every single perfect skill check.
THAT is the number you are complaining about. An instance so rare the statistic will not fit on a pie chart.

I'd prefer the M1 toggle to be gens only, and to not automatically cancel for no apparently reason but it's a good change and I am really pleased at is optional.
And yes the treatment of the devs after the stream has been disgusting.
Why gens only? I have found it to be really helpful with totems as well.
-
@SunsetSherbet said:
People dislike the wiggle change because it was an unneeded buff and making it so it was faster was not needed. No one has an issue with the idea of wiggle skill checks. People take issue with how they made it so wiggle skill checks are faster than old wiggling. It was not necessary to sneak a buff into a QoL change like that. If the wiggle change didn't shave a second off of wiggle time, I doubt anyone would have voiced any issue against it. Instead, it gives you a faster wiggle for...no real reason.
I'm cool with the skillchecks but making it a stealth buff isn't cool.
You need to hit every single skill check perfectly to get off the Killer's shoulder 6.25% faster. That is negligible.
-
I have no idea how anyone enjoys going against a Blight.

It's become abusive at this point to go Bubba and then ruin everyone's day with toxic gameplay. Every single Bubba I see, is an abusive toxic player. Face camping, etc.
I think a fair nerf to Bubba would be, once you use your chainsaw, add a cooldown of 20 seconds before Bubba can revv it up again. So Bubba's can stop spamming it. Or, if not a cooldown, then change it from AoE, to you can only down 1 person at a time with it.
There is no looping when it comes to facing Bubba. Every single one of them just do their special ability and get to lunge forward with an insta-down AoE (area of effect) attack that downs everyone and anything in it's path. It's easy to control, unlike Billy, who has to charge in 1 direction. Bubba can change directions during the entire special.
Why does it last so damn long? He gets to swing about 10 times with that thing and insta downs everyone.
And forget trying to save your teammates. He can facecamp everyone 1 by 1 and even if you come 3 strong to try and get save, he will just AoE everyone in a couple swings and insta-down EVERYONE from healthy to dying.
Bubba needs a nerf bat. really hard. Shorten the time his special lasts.
I'm at the point now that if I see another Bubba, I will intentionally kill myself on first hook and move on to another match.
You lost me at "there is no looping".
Like... what? He is one of the most easily looped killers in the game!

But apparently I suck according to Patrick. I ran the killer for 3 gens around one loop the team got me off ran him for another gen and a half and he killed me.
Now I'm not throwing shade on the killer they did what they did I actually had fun because they were good chases on my end. I just find it funny they consider me a loser in that situation.

Why should DH require Skill to use? Out of all Perks, why this one? No Perk requires Skill to use, Perks are basically "slap them on, use them".
No perk requires Skill to use? What?
My Devour Hope requires me to do tons of health states and hook those Survivors, all while running away from the hook to ensure minimum distance to gain my stacks, which do absolutely nothing before 3 stacks at all!
Your perk requires you to..... press E.
We are not the same.
-
I crawl away from hooks.
However, I do not complain about bleed out. I think I have had a killer intentionally leave me to bleed out like 3 times in the history of ever. It is not this epidemic to me that it is for some people.
-
And then you find yourself in the middle of blood lodge, or red forest, and there's no wall for 40m.

Now I dont want to be rude or claim I know it all but there are so many people of your player base who have soooooo many hours in this game, we are talking 9k hours odd and play at the highest level.
So when you have people like that why dont you use their views and input? It shocks me that you wont listen to people who live off your game and know all its ins and outs.
I know you do listen to the community about some things but theres alot of impactful things you go your own way on, a common one being the Kills & escapes being SBMM.
Not complaining, just feel getting a team of your players to be inside feedback is a good idea. They would do it for free, end of the day we all want a game to be perfect
The creator IS always right.
It's THEIR creation.
You can attack it if you want. But most forms of created content are done willfully, and on purpose.

I've heard that this is the limit, but I thought I remember reading that it can go to 1 and then 2 weeks. I've also read that there's a twenty-four hour cooldown period that should reset* your ban. HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING, if my 72-hours ended earlier today (Saturday), if I waited until Monday to play, should I then be able to join games without the fear of a weeklong ban? HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING of course.
Also, please don't be ban me for talking about bans.
*Not "reset" reset, but like, take it down a notch or two.
I think it is really telling of this community that we have people like this that have to ask "please don't be mad at me" in their posts. :(

What? If you ran the killer for 5 gens, odds are that the killer refused to let you go. I have never had a 5 gen loop with a killer I could have avoided. Seriously.
I do it all the time. It really is not that hard to completely ditch a killer if you are facing a killer that cannot actually down you for 5 gens. Any killer that is un-jukeable does not take that long to get the down.
-
I would lower the price of everything. Literally reduce the price of every item on the bloodweb by 2000 blood points each.
