Solidarity is underrated.
In this "healing takes too much time" meta with We'll make it is really good !
It's more situational than we'll make it and saves just as much time, if not less. I agree it is very good in the situations it is good in, but those situations are rare. It's mostly just circumstance and preference, but it's undeniably worse than a lot of other perks.

Because killers other than 3 maybe 4 are just trash and the narrative is that survivors have the upper hand is still going on cuz it's true, yeah it's not as bas as it used to be but it's still bad. Hell they are only reworking doctor cuz survivors aren't having fun against him, even though he's still bad as a killer survivors>killers and if anybody can't see that then they are just a biased survivor main in my eyes
So kill rates mean nothing? So good players getting consistent wins means nothing? Sure some aspects of the game are unfair but the game is far from survivor sided, even at high level gameplay.

New map would be The Sewer (Hawkins/Game template). And his power would be something chase related where he feeds off fear (chases, downs, break actions). There are also red balloons on gens that pop with every failed skill check, showering the survivors in blood and revealing their auras.
The red balloon idea just mashes potatoes. Unnecessary.

I don't tunnel someone when they DH me but I sure am going to bait it out every time possible from that point forward.

Yes, I know that is the point of the game but also that is why you have all those other categories, because this is a "grinding" game, and if you just focus on generators and hiding, both killer/survivor won't get too much points.
And I don't know if I didn't explained myself, but there is a lack of killers because there are only rushers and ninjas in this game, they don't try to get chased, and if they do and get hooked, they DC.
I'm a rank 3 survivor and I find matches every 8-10 min, whereas for killer I'm rank 4 and I insta joing a game. I play on pc though
"Rushers and ninjas"
More people play killer than survivor but more survivors are high ranks than killers. There is no deficiency of players, just bad emblem system.

I just watch some True videos.
I formulated my opinion on my own, based on my experience 🙂
It's your opinion that wraith got better by doing nothing? Interesting.
-
So you're saying some perks you can see tiers and some you can't? We'll make it you can, kindred you can't. Thanataphobia you can't, Ruin you can.
-
They are trying to please killers by giving them evidence nobody plays killer. Spoiler Alert: people play killer.
-
The queue times are unbearable or the gameplay is impossible. Pick your poison.

No, it's the feeling you need to hit the check. Few maps blend in with white more than red.

Well if you're trying to be an effective killer but have few perks Whispers can be helpful even if it's only tier 2.

What Twisted said.
SB helps me with tracking them if I lose them.
Well UP doesn't do much against high ranks. Do you have STBFL on Trapper? It's a pretty strong perk although not that useful on Trapper compared to other killers it can still have more impact than UP. Especially since you're using UP with normal TR.

UP - Unnerving Presence
SB - Sloppy Butcher which is ok on any m1 killer.

You'll keep going up against good survivors so you might have to choose between strong killers + meta perks and winning more or weaker killers + fun perks and winning less. Personally I'd stick with the fun stuff, imagine doing billy with ruin/BBQ/enduring/spirit fury or freddy with ruin/BBQ/weasel/discordance every match. Yawn
Weasel is better than Ruin to use on Billy.

Very rarely you couldn't hit a survivor after a shock. The problem with the shock is that sometimes take effect after the survivors' vault.
Well speed boost would help for hitting correctly

Btw, what's UP? And how does SB help trapper?

Well someone show me the regular hooking animation in first phase versus Calm Spirit animation in first phase.

Static field is being replaced with something interactive. Stance change is also going so hopefully that means Doc can shock into a hit much more easily and apply tons of pressure at loops.

Last I heard. Test it yourself and show me I am wrong.

Overrated noob perk. The only times it shines is against stealthy killers in indoor maps, old prayer beads etc.
Spine chill is for stealthy potatoes who are afraid of killers. They can't loop, therefore they stealth. But they are hurting the team a lot. They never take killers attention, therefore the killer can tunnel those who are on death hook.
I hope you're joking to throw killers off of Spine Chill's trail. The users of a perk should not be what you judge the perk on. Myself and other good players can use Spine Chill to avoid stealthy advances, increase objective efficiency, and gain an extra advantage in chase by seeing where the killer is looking from any part of a loop and having an extra millisecond or so from each window due to 6% vault speed. A millisecond can mean everything in a chase.

True, but that should be said for some other Killers (Ghost-face, Michael Myers, etc)
I currently don't agree with the pick-and-choose situation of what's classed as a basic attack, and I don't agree with some of the harmful side-effects of said changes (.e.g. NOED is revealed on Pig Charge but doesn't down the Survivor).
At least Pig can use STBFL

Everybody will still be red rank no matter how hard you reset if you can do nothing and still pip. Also you can be carried by swf to red rank and being complete garbage. Fix this and even without a hard rank reset you will have way better distinction.
I play solo and restarting to rank 10 every season playing with people with no clue about the game tickles my spider senses and I have to dedicate 2 days on getting back to rank 1 to have a decent game
You have to be kidding. Ranking up in this game is known by all people to be an unintended side effect of being good at the game. Ranking up as survivor is not affected by your team although it is heavily affected should the killer camp or tunnel. I agree pipping as survivor should take more skill and that each killer should have unique point gains. Getting punished for using a one shot is ridiculous.

Pig makes a sound when she uses ambush and grabs are bugged, and if the pig is using los blocker when she comes to you, you can easily sprint burst.
Wraith needs to uncloak and isn't 100 invisible, sprint burst basically kills wraith.
Ghostface makes sounds as well when he's moving and you can see ghostface mask since it is white...
Myers has a loud breathing and is tall af so you can see him...
You know why most people say it is a noob perk?
Cause no one is going to sacrifice a slot for something that you can easily counter without it and with better perks that help in chases, very strong (sprint burst)
And it is known as the noob perk cause most people that use it are new players that has over 10/50 hours.
I'm not wasting my exhaustion perk slot just so stealth killers have slightly less advantage over me. Spine Chill completely negates the potential for seeing the killer too late. Combine that with the action speed and extra skill checks and Spine Chill can be a great efficiency tool. Not to mention how experienced players can use Spine Chill in chase to see where the killer is looking, if they're hiding their red stain or going for the swing. Although this technique requires much more practice than using other survivor perks, you will definitely have a stronger edge than without it once you have mastered it. Spine Chill is a perk for experienced players with high awareness just as much as it is helpful to newer players getting used to hearing stealth noises and the terror radius. How am I wrong?

Of course killers can be toxic, no question. We have all faced some nasty killers at some point ie. Those purposely dragging out the last death as a sign of dominance rather than curiosity for the egc, Leatherfaces wearing blackface who camp on party streamers etc.
But in my experience playing both sides, toxic people tend to gravitate towards the survivor role and survivor toxicity is much nastier and pervasive than killer toxicity. Toxic people tend to play together and it’s much easier and cowardly to band up against the 1 vs the 1 against 4. Survivors will also rub it in a killer’s face as long and as obnoxiously as possible.
Killers are also more likely to play fair in an uneven match and show kindness. Survivors sense things are in their favor and they bully and milk points while the killer gets squat. Rarely have I ever seen a survivor willingly sacrifice themselves so the killer could have SOMETHING. Even getting hit, survivors taunt and refuse to let the killer touch them before scooting out in a sure escape. Last night I gave myself up to a beginner nurse who got the snot kicked out of her by the other 3, and she downed me and took me back to the exit gate still even when I indicated it was okay for her to kill me.
The simple truth is survivors are more toxic - 4x as toxic to be exact. Toxic killers exist but it’s nowhere on the same level as survivor.
There's no evidence for this.

Pretty broad assumption to make that in all those instances, they are being slugged/tunneled/camped. There is no denying that survivors have infinite amounts of recovery options from mistakes, where as killers can barely afford to make one.
Realistically (as someone who actually plays killer and doesn't just blindly claim to), DS only comes into effect in non tunneling situations. Person gets unhooked, and throw themselves at you. Or baits you to pull them out of a locker etc. Of course, killers are supposed to ignore these people for being arrogant and flexing their "I'm invulnerable, get outplayed by a perk" status.
You must be playing against idiots. People who use DS play normally in my games, get off the hook, get on a gen, if killer comes by go to a pallet or window.

@JC316 said:

DS is mainly a problem once the gates are open. Depending on where you down them, it's a guaranteed free escape. Can't pick em up or get hit with it, can't leave em on the ground because they can crawl to safety. I frequently tunnel just to burn the DS before the gates are powered.
DS either needs to not work at the EGC, or survivors can't crawl to escape if the killer is standing on the exit. Unbreakable and DS is annoying, again mostly at the EGC when people bumrush the hook.
I agree on dead hard, it's easy enough to counter by being patient. Annoying when used to be greedy on a loop, but not overly OP.
BT isn't that annoying either, until someone decides to body block. You body block me with BT, you just signed your death warrant. Had a guy do it last night, he body blocked, I waited the 15 seconds, downed him, ate DS, chased him down again, hooked him, then tunneled him directly off hook. He got 6K bloodpoints and I guarantee he depipped.
Pop/ruin and BBQ are good perks, but if you go against decent survivors, NOED never comes into play, because they destroy all of the totems.
I hate when people complain about end game combos when all you have to do to stop them is prevent the gens from getting done. I guess the argument do dull totems, not even an actual objective to counter noed is much better than the killer stopping gens from getting done to counter DS or Adrenaline, which is actually part of the killer's objective.
-
This happened while I was playing killer, I expected them to keep hook bombing but they actually stayed on gens until they died while I was chasing the other guy. They all still died though.

@TragicSolitude said:

I didn't say rank, I said ability. It would have to use an algorithm that keeps track of how well the individual player performs on gens. Basing anything other than matchmaking on rank in this game would be folly.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/957622#Comment_957622
It shouldn't be based on rank. If it were based on how gens are right now, it would be more along the lines of adjusting the difficulty based on the survivor's number of failed/good/great skill checks within the last 100 skill checks (for example). Something like that. Though, the way gens are right now is boring; gens should be updated so that they're more interesting for survivors. At this point, I try to avoid gens as much as I can when I play, because it's not fun holding down the trigger button all match; the killer basically has to force me to farm, otherwise I'll run around search chests cleanse totems and die.
The algorithm can easily be abused.

You can't hit them. They're faster than the killer
