You're not wrong, but I don't see why a joke perk would be top priority.

This is why killers are so sick of DS.

If you honestly think that's fine, well, you have the patience of an absolute saint, I guess.
Couldn't they have just smacked them?

Whats wrong with that? It still prevents tunneling, if the killer dosen't hook another survivor it still lasts sixty seconds? Its such a minor nerf that just prevents the perk from being overly strong to still being strong. I don't understand the resistance to this idea.
Killers could abuse this with complicated slugging and timing.
-
Render distance and other graphics can't be changed.
-
This perk is garbage. Not even worth running with Inner Strength.
-
Ghostface shouldn't have a power you say?
-
I'd say spine chill but a lot of people have been recognizing it.
-
This is why I quit solo queue
-
I've been saying. Death hook at the very least come on devs

I *personally* hate Ormond because 1) it's too bright, almost like it's daylight. 2) The tiles sucks and 3) The main structure is just not interesting.
But.. it's an ""unique"" map so I can see why some people like it.
All these apply to Lery's as well imo
-
I'm surprised there are people that don't respect the 4%. Then again there are people that think rank matters.
-
Killer: Don't play as Steve
Survivor: Don't take advantage of a 3 gen scenario
-
Am I the only one that doesn't hate Ormond? Maybe I just am biased because I usually pull off a 3 gen there
-
Indoor maps are too easy outdoor maps are boring and springwood sucks. Playing killer is fun :)

Weird Hex but ok
...
In all seriousness, I wouldn't want some survivor to come heal me just to find out he's a Charged potato and I end up in deep wounds (or back to 0 after nearly recovering myself).
Let's see if I can rework this...
Hex: Static Cling
A Hex that interferes with Generator progress.
Generators regress 6/8/10% faster.
When a Survivor begins repairs on a regressing Generator, that Generator will explode (there is no regression penalty) and the Survivor becomes Charged.
Charged Survivors can no longer hit Good Skill Checks and they cannot heal, mend, or wake up other Survivors. Charged Survivors can interact with another Survivor to cause that Survivor to scream and remove the Charged Status Effect.
Survivors who scream due to this effect are woken up.
I tried to make it a little less complicated while keeping it close to the original idea. I also made it affect all regressing generators and have no cooldown (it is a Hex, after all).
I like this better
-
The power is great but I'm not really feeling the perks. Great job on the lore btw.
-
Broken Mirror
This perk activates after performing a safe unhook or flashlight save.
If you are unhooked while this perk is active you will be Broken for 80/70/60 seconds. While this perk is active and you are Broken completing a total of one health state of healing on other survivors will make you Healthy automatically.
-
What if 4 survivors have the perk? I have something similar brewing up in my survivor abilities folder and it only works because each ability is unique to a survivor is unique to a trial

Thanks! Any ideas on addon names?
It would be easier if there was some lore

I know that survs ruin dislike (at least I assume thanks to the dbd and steam forums), but play some matches as killer and you will sooner or later see what I mean.
But again, I don't mean it on a bad way. Sometimes you like to have action and sometimes you like to have more chilling match. There is nothing bad on the one or other from it.
I said /s
I play killer so I know what you mean
-
@Talmeer said:
I find killer more stressful, what I don't mean as rant here.
It is just... As killer, you have always to search and look for your next victim.
As survivor I feel only "stressed" (imo wrong word somehow for it), if the killer chooses me as his target, but if he hunting someone else, or I can make my generators in peace - aka. the most of the time in a match - I don't feel that much pressed and stressed.
But what about the immense stress of Ruin skill checks?? /s

Because you have to learn mindgames on most titles. With other killers you learn their ability more than mindgames.
Like nurse you don't need m1 killer mindgames you only need to learn nurse's power, which happens to be more complicated.
You have to learn that anyways with all killers save nurse

@Yamaoka said:
Stress is highly subjective. Being a pure solo player I consider survivor gameplay more stressful (but also more challenging and rewarding) than killer gameplay as I always expect to die either by getting camped/1-hooked or tunneled off the hook without borrowed time.
Killer is kinda chill to me because I know I'll win at least 90% of my matches since the vast majority of survivors just aren't really good at the game (including red rank survivors) so even my Bubba (who is considered one of the worst killers in the game) will handle them casually in most cases.
Rank =/= skill 😂

? How?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/112680/difficulty-rating-of-killers-list
I'd put spirit and hag lower, and move the m1 killers up.
How are m1 killers more difficult?
-
Another buff legion thread...
-
The game's only as stressful as the player makes it. Killer is more interactive though

I like this a lot, but I’m not quite sure how realistic this would be, since Survivors don’t have any supernatural powers like the Killers do.
The perk is really flexible, and has an activation requirement like any strong perk should.
Premonition spine chill and aura reading perks are confused rn.
-
These are all very good and well thought out :)
-
This is a good idea. I have too many games where I'm forced to bleed out on the ground because killer can't pick me up without me wiggling off. Sad
-
It's in a good spot rn imo

Lithe and Dead Hard do not guarantee a loop. If you use them right, then yes, you can. But the Killer always has someway to get value out of it. If you Lithe at the wrong time, you get smacked. Dead Hard at the wrong time? Smack.
With this BL change BL would be a better Dead Hard, as the 150% speed boost with 100% stagger reduction will allow you to not get hit.
Sprint Burst can already be used to avoid hits but I guess you're right and survivors should have no power around long falls especially with the current maps. Hopefully BL will be changed in the future after maps are.
-
Well at least people have a reason to quit survivor and play killer
-
My idea: remove the sprint burst copycat effect but keep the cooldown. No one's giving up an exhaustion perk slot for BL.
-

Whoops, forgot about that. Still, it would effectively end the chase before it began. 150% with zero stagger? That's at least another 15 seconds and likely more.
All other perks have this. How can you justify BL being worse than them?
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/112546/balanced-landing
No, it is finally in line with other Exhaustion perks.
I wouldn't mind a buff to 80% stagger, but 100% could create infinites.
I don't see how

Personally, my favorite is when someone without DS is branded the Obsession and they get tunneled to death for doing absolutely nothing wrong.
Happens to me a lot
-
Game seems okay so far just need some map reworks and hopefully another objective to replace some gen time
-
Stop crying DC punishment is coming.
-
It's not the worst perk in the game. It's fine if it stays like this.
-
Swf matchmaking probably did slightly inflate kill rates, but otherwise I don't see a problem here.
-
The red add ons are great, the perks are well designed but The Lonely Path targets the obsession instead of trying to save them for last. I don't see how the new basekit could be exploited, this is a really cool and fun idea :)
-
Good idea.

The issue is, splitting the playerbase would only be bad for the community. Which is why they haven't done it.
Also - what you linked...didn't discredit..anything. I mean, nice try? Sorry you embarrassed yourself...I guess?
Cross platform :))

Cuz no ones gives a dollar for him. I find him one of the most ugly survivors, I don't like playing with him. I must have played him just for the adept archievemnt and never touched him ever again.
I love every single one of his perks and his lore. He was my main before steve came out.

@S_Panda said:
Maybe to make it equal? if the killer can't hit through them then you shouldn't be able to move through them?... As much as I agree it helps against facecamping, it isn't used just for that as I remember one nancy running a loop around the hooked survivor on the game map around 4 rooms in the under, do a grab to bait a hit, then continue running cause why unhook someone you're looping around continuously
Good point. It could be used like a window 😂

I'd definitely spent 20 minutes of my time ruining the fun of someone who gets fun from ruining others tbh
Well I guess you're stronger than me because I try not to ruin the fun of anyone regardless of what they are doing. (Except for flashlight blendettes)

it won't baring body blocking. It just makes it harder to capitalize on in general.
Regardless though I'm about to rework a lot of this concept, so bear with me for a second.
Okay, and thanks :)

That sounds like a lot of work
-
3 and 4 seem pretty good immersion wise and give Surge more synergy with other perks

true but this does offer the ability to be used in the middle of a chase rather than bbq and thrilling tremors which can only be used after a chase is over. I definitely think the devs could make a better addon but for the huntress i do think this would make a pretty fun ultra rare. id rather an ultra rare that does something redundant than making the addon pretty laughably bad such as nurse's extra blink ultra rare that doesnt allow you to blink through objects, ya know? lol
Good point lol
