Who are you to tell other people how to enjoy a game? So long as they are not cheating or being overtly offensive, then you have no authority to tell people how they should play a game that they bought.
People always want to let everyone that they are "right" even when it comes off as arrogance.
Oh my god, "I bought the game and can do whatever I want there" mentality. You're playing with real people, not bots. What do you expect to hear from me? "Okay, go, teabag, that's so funny, the killer is on their last nerve, come on, do it, they'll DC soon, ha-ha, click your flashlight, oh goood, they can't do a thing, lmao. Show off and jump in and out of a locker right in front of them! The killer will be feeling worse by the end of a match but still, do it do it do it! Don't forget to teabag near the exit gates! Wow, I'm having so much fun, I don't care about the killer, their mood and experience! It's all about you because you paid $$$."
(Didn't get the text below, sorry, English isn't my mother tongue. And I'm not really interested in talking with you, I just saw someone liked your comment.)

I played Halo 3, MW2, Retail and Classic WoW
Tbagging in dbd is nothing compared to the toxicity of those games
if I Tbag you when I looped you 4 gens, at that point I’m probably confident you are below my skill level and if I choose to show it through clicking or tbagging, then I also expect you to wanna kill me
its part of the game and makes playing survivor fun, grow up
Sorry but your position isn't really healthy. If you choose to annoy a low skilled killer, who is already frustrated, just because it's fun, I can no longer discuss this topic with you.
Also, I thought growing up supposed to mean that you're mature enough to understand how other people feel and that you should respect each individual if they do nothing wrong. But you do you, I guess.

It’s a videogame about killing people
the only 🤡 is you for getting worked up over tbagging
It's not the case. This game isn't just a "horror survival" thing, it's competitive in it's own way. When you teabag, you say to a killer "your skill level is low, all your wasted time was for nothing, you're bad at this game, suck it up, loser". I know that watching specific youtubers who bully rank 20 killers is... funny?.. but, please, try to be more kind towards other players. We all know that teabagging isn't just a "look, ha-ha, funny buttdance!" thing, it's been recognized as a toxic move since 2016 here. And you know it. Or you're just new and came here after watching funny montages.

Middle Fingers & Racist slurs are actually things that are offensive, that have been known as offensive for hundreds of years, t bagging, is something someone thought was funny to do in a video game and it spread, huge difference, but sure, you guys can continue to be upset by someone pressing CTRL on the other side of a pallet and act as if it means something.
It means something, it is used to taunt a killer, it is used to mock a player. It translates to "lmao, you bad". You know this. You don't find this offensive? Cool, you're thick skinned, you're really special, but there are sensetive people out here and people who can get fed up with such attitude. Are you really trying to say that teabagging in this game is not bad because it's kinda a new thing? Are you for real?
Yeah, people press CTRL to insult people, 21st freaking century. You find this funny, it actually is funny if you think about this out of context, but I simply can't explain how online rude non-verbal communication works because you totally fail to see one.
"Teabagging isn't toxic because it wasn't known for hundreds of years." 🤡 You sound like some relatively old middle-aged man who calls people snowflakes for trying to be polite.

Uhm, it's a videogame bro, you play how you want, everyone else will play how they want, do you not see the problem with comparing tbagging in a video game to actually shouting racist slurs at people at sporting events or are you just ignoring that? It's a GAME, it's non verbal, and does 0 for the outcome of the match, and a survivor drops a pallet and tbags, oh nooooo couldn't possibly just kill them or something.
I'm not the one who compared teabagging with racist slurs. But you miss the whole point of teabagging. As someone mentioned, it's like showing a middle finger. But if you can overcome it by thinking "oh hell, I'm protected by the power of the Internet", good for you. But if you had greater empathy and knew who social communication works, you would find this AT LEAST unpleasant.
The whole mentality "it's a videogame, so it shouldn't be taken seriously" can be easily compared to "it's the Internet and people can say or do whatever they want". Yeah, you can do whatever you want, but should you really be rude to someone you don't know?

Comparing tbagging to racism is disgusting, anyone that defends that is a lunatic, and tbagging has 0 impact on the game, and some bot dropping a pallet and tbagging, how is that insulting? DBD is the only community I've ever been involved in that continually acts as if tbagging has some game altering effect, it does nothing, you're in a game where you murder people, but apparently spamming ctrl is just too much.
You're in a role of a killer, a powerful butcher who brings mere survivors to the Entity, the whole scene is happening on a dark, scary location with no hope of survival... But you can't really do a thing and survivors just buttdance infront of you. Can you feel the whole problem here and why other games don't have issues with teabagging?
-
For real, dude, not every person is as thick skulled as you are, so someone will be upset about being mocked as a killer. It usually hits harder when you start thinking that you're pretty good at this game and then all of a sudden you get demolished by a 4-man SWF party. And it's not a friendly "Oh, we know it's unfair but we just wanna hang out together, so don't get upset about loosing!", it's a "you suck, you're so bad, lmao, how are you still alive?" throughout the match.

To actually buff them everyone needs to stop using them. This way devs will gain data and be like "wow, the perk must be really bad, nobody runs it!".
But this will never happen because some yellow ranked survivors will find Distortion an amazing perk... As well as Self-care, Urban and WGLF. So yeah, at least Monstrous Shrine will be reworked because NOONE finds this perk any good.

And? The entire survivor sided is busted and unfair due to matchmaking and ranking. No need to nerf the hatch further until that is looked at first. Killers arent supposed to be 4king always anyways.
It is unfair BECAUSE the rank system is busted, not because the overall teamwork concept is bad. The whole unfairness you have now is unintentional. And the issue IS being worked on.
(Funny how you ignore that matchmaking makes yellow rank killers play against red rank survivors but okay.)
-
Yeah, I'm surprised survivors think that not so many killers know about the trick.

Lol say that to a team that is made over a matchmaking and ranking system that doesnt work. How many times does a killer get his hand held bc the game cant match an effective team together? Yeah thatd what I ######### thought.
That's the issue with the ranl system, not the whole concept of teamplay.
-
@Seanzu said:
How can the key holder blow their chance? If you use a key you instantly jump through, and the reason it opens twice is because dun dun dunnnnn not all survivors are SWF so if you just lock out hatch because some random took it, the other random has no control over that.
Love everyone jumping in and being like "muh survivors need all the help" without actually thinking about why it opens multiple times with a little logic.
This game isn't 1vs1. If your team has bad players, it WILL determine the result of a match. The only issue here is the inability of the current rank system to toss players with the same skill level. But soon we will have a whole new matchmaking. Call it unfair as much as you want but that's how teamplay actually works.

I've been playing more killer than survivor lately and I don't get why tea bagging bothers killers so much. It genuinely makes me laugh at how stupid it is. I know the survivors are doing it to make me mad and it just doesn't? Stop letting it bother you! It's what we little shithead survivors want!
K, if it doesn't annoy you, good, you have thick skin. But I've been playing as a killer for longer time.
The point is, a survivor teabags thinking that you're bad. You down them immediately. But since most survivors on high ranks learned that sticking to gens is a good strategy. Due to gens popping here and there bad toxic players think that they are good because they escape
with the help of other better survivors but who cares. Then they'll write "ez" and you sit here thinking "why you gotta be like that?". -

Exactly, it is because of the challenge. But most people who play regularly should be done with Rift 3 about now. Even if players wanted to bring a key to each match they are actually quite rare on bloodwebs. You would very quickly run out of them. I think it would be pretty hilarious to see how many keys were lost this last month compared to average. I guarantee it's at least 10 times higher than normal. And you know what? It was still rare to see survivors escape my matches with keys. I can only recall like 2 games out of all the ones I played. Here is the flip side to all of this. Players trying to use their keys to escape to complete the rift challenge are generally screwing over their team mates pretty hard. I had a match where it was pretty obvious that one survivor wasn't helping his team at all. He could have easily rescued a couple of the survivors because I wasn't camping at all. I found him hiding in a locker in the basement. Even with all the keys it is actually easier to win as a killer!
Good to be you, probably I'm just unlucky.

I would like to hear the stats on key escapes. I'm sure it is low but I'd like to see how over-blown some of the killers make it sound. I'm pretty sure it is well under 5% of games that have key escapes.
I haven't seen so many people with keys until now. People just bring 2 keys during a match, it isn't over-blown! I know it's because of the challenge. I just got used to it but there also will be that one survivor who will teabag near the hatch that will ruin my mood when I'm already frustrated.

For the People is an extremely strong perk.
And Retribution will be very useful in a lot of builds.
For the People will be extremely strong for SWF parties. You know when people said that pallet picking perk would be extremely strong but here we are having a nearly useless perk for solo players.
So you're telling me retribution is stronger than BT, Unbreakable, DH or DS? No!

Well, the RBT is literally the most iconic SAW trap. And I don't really see a way to have grievous bodily mutilation within Dead by Daylight. As a SAW fanatic, and devout Pig main, it'd be nice, yet somehow just extremely unrealistic.
That's the issue, the most iconic SAW trap is used like this. You could manipulate with teamplay, healthstates, enviroment, items, NO, let's make them RNG based!
-
Now, I think it's a good video to show a problem. The only issue here is that survivors were reall bad in general so they all died by the end. BUT here you can see how gens went even after that whole situation. They fixed all of them despite not being able to juke properly around the map, they only managed to be decent at some mindgames.
Overall it shows how much power survivors second chance perks hold. Now imagine if survivors were actually good, these perks would be used on a whole new level of agony. But what am I talking about, if survivors were good, they wouldn't even need to use them because generators would pop in a few minutes. Because even BAD survivors after making BAD plays and being BAD in general manage to fix all of them.
I love seeing all of these survivor mains who will point out every tiny misplay a killer made just to prove that a killer was't flowless. And then they will just ignore everything else. Like, c'mon, stop saying that he got 4 kills still, you know that happened because survivors messed up and couldn't make till the end because they could memorize which pallets they had dropped earlier.
-
I guess we all will ignore how terrible those survivors were but okay.
-
@Peanits said:
Random is, well, random. Sometimes you get lucky and get it off first try, sometimes you get unlucky and it's the last possible box. If you're really unlucky and they brought the right add-ons, you might not even have time to get to that last box.
The luck is purely in that survivor's hands, though. Their key is in a box, no other box will remove it. It's not so much the game rolling the dice and saying 'no', it's more that you got unlucky and picked the wrong one.
That doesn't justify the whole RNG both Amanda and survivors go through. Sure, sometimes random moments can make games fun but for the killer you either get your slowdown or you don't get one. That's it, it can only be kinda thrilling for survivors... Untill the killer decides to tunnel you for a little bit if you get unlucky with your RBT. The whole concept is good, the execution is not. It's not even that much SAW themed, like, the actual SAW traps didn't require you to be lucky, you could only do everything by yourself by sacrificing something or someone.

The stealth aspect. I don't think stealth for killers has a place in this game. It's a broken mechanic in my opinion. It gives killers a high chance of getting a free hit. Combine that with their second "powers" (insta-down for GF, and bear traps for Amanda), the crap gets ridiculous. Amanda's Surveillance perk is OP as well. So not only can she see the gen you are working on, she can come over and sneak up on you. Now you get to repeat the cycle of being unhooked, waste time trying to get the trap off your head, heal, and find another gen that she kicked, only for it to turn color and give away your position again. Yea, fun times. From green ranks to red ranks, with Potato survivors to Immersed players, it's all the same for escaping- low probability. Well that's my experience any way. At least when I lose to Nurse or Spirit, I feel like that player took the time and put in the work to be an efficient killer with said characters. Unlike the pay to win, easy bake pick up and play POS Ghostface.
Edit: Yes, I know survivors have spine chill. Not that effective against Amanda- she definitely knows you are in the area because of the gen color change.
Yeah, sure, the Pig needs a huge nerf, she's too strong! Her stealth power is so strong it can't be denied by any means! She can easily hit people and then... Be looped, she's supposed to be looped during two health states, not just one!!!

Most killers who run NOED are just bad. They can't mindgame or run tiles properly, they chase for way too long and they don't even attempt to apply any pressure because they don't need to because they have NOED to get them easy kills. As for cleansing totems, I do but I can't do all the work.
Did you nickname openly say that you're wrong?
-
Lately I started to think I need to bring good add-ons against survivors because of how fast gens go. Many survivors on high ranks know that sticking to gens will let them win easily so as killer I feel so frustrated. Like I just played a match as the Spirit and that Nea after gens popping here and there had the audacity to write me things like: "Get punished with genrush, hope you learned your lesson." I'm sorry for playing a strong killer, let me pick the Pig, here, teabag me till the daylight in those exit gates! I feel freaking empty after playing as a killer because I can't win by playing as I want to. I want to down survivor 1, go to survivor 2, then hook survivor 3 and chase survivor 4, repeat. I could do that without add-ons on high ranks before the Ruin nerf because I had an early game! Even when Ruin got cleansed in 30 seconds I had a gap of time between gens being fixed. Now I have to tunnel and enjoy my 1 kill at best if survivors play optimally. You know, as Bubba I can get the same amount of kills just by camping and I will save most of my nerve cells by doing so because I can just peacefully stand without causing too much movement here and there. "You're just bad" is not an issue here when I down survivor fast and still lose. Like, do I have freaking time to be good??
-
SWF would like to have a talk with you about For the People.
Red Herring isn't great but if used during right times can really help out.
In my opinion, only Off the Record is pure trash.
-
The whole concept of the Legion is busted because devs failed to recognize the real problem why people hated the killer. They just nerfed the Legion in all ways possible in a hurry so now we have THIS.
-
@Almo said:

Hillbilly can't turn while dashing. Oni can't turn well. Blinking is a different animal entirely.
The Hillbilly can quickly stop when he finds some scratchmarks, then he can just follow them using his ability in the right direction, the Oni can do the same thing, even the Nurse can blink and poorly follow scratchmarks as well. As the Legion you don't see anything, even though the Legion's power would probably drain itself once you reach your target because a smart survivor runs as far as possible when being chase by the Legion in FF. Not only that but because of the stun even when you reach survivors they have an EXTRA opportunity to go away due to poor visibility and hidden signs of running. The Legion doesn't have tools to deal with looping so by injuring survivors the Legion player only benefits in dead zones where survivors can't do anything.
-
Let's adress the issue with survivors fixing gens way to fast when they stick to the gens first. If you immediantly find, down and hook survivors every 30-40, they're still able to start all gens and escape all together even without toolboxes. You freaking know that "putting pressure" is not the issue here when survivors just go down in a moment and you're still unable to at least get 2 kills without them messing up by the end.
Anyways, once I see or hear the "hear me out", I know it's not gonna be anything worth checking. It can't be a coincidence.
-
Yes, just do gens. I had played as the Spirit on the Swamp, I was hooking people every 30-40 seconds but I managed to get only 1 kill by the end. I immediately found survivors each time after hooking someone but that didn't really matter. Oh, by the way, they weren't using toolboxes and one of them even had No Mither.
-
I think Happy Death Day chapter would really suit the game.
-
While I can see the reasoning behind your assumptions, I definitely wouldn't call this state PTSD. Maybe you're trying to name in a more smooth form like "killers' PTSD" but it doesn't really make sense. While I truely feel some of the things you mentioned above it's surely more than just regular irritation but I can hardly call it PTSD in any way.

The amount of times I've been called a SWF while playing solo queue for just doing something even remotely skillful like a flashlight save is really appalling.
Is it really that hard to believe you've made a mistake and to adapt for the future when you lost as a top tier killer? (Not talking about the mid and low tier bois, you guys need some love).
Blaming SWF just seems to be a dumb blanket statement to validate yourself and every decision you made that match. (Especially when it was solo queue and you were a Nurse at green ranks lol).
Not saying Survivors don't do the same when they lose, but this happened to be my most recent experience on DbD.
Why are people so allergic to wanting to improve?
I think right now killers may assume that you're too good to be solo because most of them are green-yellow ranked thanks to the matchmaking?
-
Is it strong as hell? Yes. Is it annoying? Yes but not being able to kill anyone isn't the problem.
The problem is when you have to deal with toxic 4-man SWF party. My god, if the map will be survivor sided, this is gonna be a mental torture. Being literally bullied for nothing and then insulted in the post-game chat for being "bad"... Yeah, it really can mess up with some people a lot, it can ruin anyone's mood for a long period of time. After a match like that you just want to close the game and that's it.
If you're about to call me a snowflake, I demand the authorities to make you play against good SWF teams 24/7.
