Are you devs really meme with new perks?
You know damn well that the game has only a small amount of perks that actually matter and give survivors real chances of survival, looking at you DS.
So, you got a small amount of usable perks... And a whole bunch of perks you either use because you don't have anything better or because you want to meme around. Maybe they aren't THAT bad but you simply can't compare the effectiveness of Borrowed Time and Alert no matter what. Why wouldn't you buff weak perks survivors have, NOBODY would be against it.
Like, is anyone here against buffing Ace's perks? For real, this dude has simply WORST perks with Ace in the Hole being just okay only for farm builds.
New killer perks are not better by the way but at least due to unique playstyle of each killer some bad perks can be decent.
Why is it taking so long to add something to Distortion, who on the Earth uses this perk? Is there any reason why you won't allow perks like Boil Over get on at least the same level as Inner Strengh, for example?

I think were at a point where they literally can't add any good perks because mixing them with the current meta would be game breaking. I felt old MoM (by itself) was an okay perk. It was broken when mixed with bt, ds, adren. Which is why I think we need to put perks into categories and limit how many we can equip.
Like assign 1 perk slot to 2nd chance perks so survivors can't stack up on them. Do the same for gen stopping perks for killer.
They probably ran out of idea of survivor perks. Actually, it's not just survivor perks, killer perks too.
For the People is an extremely strong perk.
And Retribution will be very useful in a lot of builds.
For the People will be extremely strong for SWF parties. You know when people said that pallet picking perk would be extremely strong but here we are having a nearly useless perk for solo players.
So you're telling me retribution is stronger than BT, Unbreakable, DH or DS? No!
I'm just going to say. I think the reason it takes a long time to do a complete overhaul is because Dead by Daylight is a mess of spaghetti coding.
It's a miracle this game even functionally runs at all with little to no constant issues, because major changes tend to be bad for the game as a whole. I mean we saw it with The Oni's chapter release, Survivors in the basement fell through the world and couldn't move at all.
I'll say if they are doing something like this, they would be doing it to a lot of different perks at once. Something similar to Payday 2's Difficulty Rebalance when that was a thing. Because with that they could squash the bugs as they appear during development and not right after the fact like during The Oni's chapter release.

didnt say that
i'm just not agreeing with you saying the new perks are all useless
Distortion is one of my 3 META: SC, Spine Chill and Distortion.
Its a great perk. When you know in wich situations the killer can see your aura, you gather a lot of data. The 3 times it works can confirm a BBQ, or can save you from healing near a killer with Nurses Calling. Even addons that show your aura can be countered.
The thing is not only the 3 times it hides your aura, eventhough its a game saving a lot of time. But it makes possible for you to know how to act in the match in matter to not get your aura seen anymore. And thats powerful.
