Survivor is easy and killers are getting nerfed constantly, breeding ground for toxicity from people who only play survivor. The day the ruin/doc reworks went live I saw a lot of post about toxic survivors, and I myself found t bagging and hate mail to be more common. I got a few people who also mocked the devs for nerfing killers which is....still toxic. Like saying you know youre wrong doesn't make being toxic right lol

I didn't know that. But honestly ive seen so many people get banned out of nowhere its crazy. Ive only gotten warned once and they didn't even explain why but honestly i think they like me since ive never been jailed lol.
Its crazy tho, they really need to ease up on the bans because there were a few people on here i started to enjoy reading their inputs, then bam one day theyre gone. Real #########. I actually wasn't trying to piss them off i was trying to get him to do what they said because he wanted to just start walking back towards the house but they got SUPER offended. I actually forgot how stupid that ######### was, I went to jail and they let my friend go, even tho neither of us did ######### and i was the one complying (didn't have no weed or anything on us if that's what youre thinking, we were just walking the apartments and a group of 5 came to post static) and the dumbest part is they charged me with some "Domestic dispute" or some dumb ######### like that, ######### they just made up. I spent the night in the jail, got transferred downtown the next day and they let me go. Went to court, dismissed. They knew it would be, doesn't matter to them tho they just wanted to teach me not to disrespect cops by having the nerve to dare say cops may not be perfect.
I really dgaf, im not super anti cop because every cop is a different human being, i know for a fact there are some really good cops out there that aren't ######### with people just because but actually trying to protect the community, and that makes me a heretic even thinking about it like that. But since that experience im assuming every cop i see is an #########
And keep in mind, my dad has a big ass scar on his head for some cops beating his ass because they thought he was someone else. No compensation, not even an apology. He still gets stopped by cops if hes walking around at night because they "Got reports of a black man looking in cars/carrying a weapon/looking shady" or whatever. But you know what those cops are #########, not every cop is like that. Im saying all this just to show how amazing it is that those pigs could really put me in an anti cop mentality when none of that ######### did. Because they were offended, give me a ######### break.
But that aint got nothing to do with this lol.

Yeah its pretty sad tbh. Its even worse that it didn't come out with the rift. Its only a day away but i was so excited for the update and got even more excited when i saw there was an event, i thought something would happen and we could earn one of those new skins but all i really got was ruin being removed lol.
I dont like to give the devs ######### about not giving out free stuff but i feel like events are the best way to keep the game going, look at Overwatch or even Fortnite. I ONLY get on Overwatch during events these days. And really how much are they even going to make from those skins? Wouldn't the good will and hype be more valuable, maybe even getting new players invested in the game that are going to have to buy a ######### ton of DLC?
I mean i guess at least its something but it wont mean anything to anyone that's not already a hardcore fan

Ruin is useless on its on, it wasn't "nerfed" it was replaced by a new niche really meme perk.
Pop is probably the best option for slow down now but...eh. Corrupt might be more useful, idk i dont have it but with pop you have to be getting hooks constantly, with corrupt it doesn't actually have to slow anything down because they can just go to other gens, but its less gens to patrol for awhile and you dont have to do anything. Pick your poison ig

Stop trying. That's what i did. Sure i could be in red ranks, but why should i? All i get are longer wait times and extremely stressful matches, it sucks and takes away all the fun of the game. Now i sit comfortably in yellow ranks, never have to slug for the 4k, not even worried about the 4k because i know i can get it if i want, and the wait times are non existent. Plus i get to be nice AND intimidating. AND i can listen to music and smoke all the weed i want and still have fun.
Its not always a cake walk of course and there are a lot of SWF smurfs but when i see those ######### i put them in their place, and when its not ######### I normally try to hook everyone in rotation, so its far in-between hooks for them and constant gameplay for me.
Now that theyre taking away ruin ######### even thinking about going back to red ranks, its not even that i wont be able to function or even win, its that i wont be having fun. I DREADED loading into matches at high ranks now its all chill. Am i smurfing? Kinda i guess but its not like im bullying people, i never even really try unless i get a toxic SWF and the people i play against have a good time too, i get a lot of "Thanks for not tunneling/camping" messages, i normally spare whoever i think is cute and im having way more fun than i ever did in the higher ranks
Now im not saying derank or AFK or throw matches or any of that. Im saying stop trying and focus on having fun. Might now come for a few ranks but when it does i promise the game will be so much better
The game REALLY should be balanced in favor of killers

true but the problem is that they made survivors too strong in general, i know at this point itll never happened but from game design to lore its clear balance should be in favor of killers. It would allow for slower stuff like this and darker maps. Easy fix for this specifically would be to make it so you just cant be blinded during the animation

Incoming billy nerf. Theyre reviewing his add ons, probably next, meaning that its likely hell get a base kit nerf. Without Ruin hes going to probably be the strongest killer which is why a lot more have popped up recently, only adding fire to that flame. But since hes be nerfed that's really all the major players. Nurse, Spirit and Billy all got nerfed. As far as "Slow down perks" the only one that really matters is ruin. I know what youre saying but what other perk would need changing? Pop and corrupt wont act any different because they 1. Only effect gens and 2. Are both limited. Theres thanta and dying light but why lol.
So by what you said, them needing to nerf killers and remove ruin, it must mean youre on team 2nd objective. Not the team im exactly on but i respect your opinion and could be convinced if they did it right

What about killers that are already powerful? They would need a nerf if a second objective was added. Same as certain addons. And perks that slow down the game would probably also need some looking into.

A lot of people feel like that, i felt like that....but now its like the devs said if youre not good enough to be high rank maybe you shouldn't be. It can still suck every once and awhile but for the most part i just play really relaxed. Not a smurf just not trying very hard, and enjoying it way more than i did when i was red rank and would literally dread loading into a game

BHVR can be stupid, but EA, UBISOFT, Take2 , all those whale feeders, theyre all just constantly on that bullshit. Its not because theyre stupid its because theyre incompetent and greedy. With Siege in particular im pretty sure the game failed, they backed off the devs because it was a dead game, the devs made it good and now Ubisoft are ######### it up again lol

I think a lot of people are just taking a break. With the knowledge ruin is getting removed people are pissed and the fact that new content is right around the corner theres not much reason to play killer rn since its always solo.
At least that's my reasoning. I haven't got on in awhile except for a game or two of survivor with someone

It's annoying that devs try to balance the game with perks and not mechanics and I sincerely doubt they will do ANYTHING after the ruin nerf. I think it's Peanits that responded to one of those claims and if he/she says that they may look at gen speeds and toolboxes after the removal of ruin we have very, very high chance they won't even bother especially after that "Definetely not biased" dev note.
This is a very fair criticism that i think people often forget about because if youre really into the game you probably have most if not all of the DLC. Ruin, BBQ, and WGTLF feel like necessary perks, ive been playing for over half a year and just got out of the grinding phase of the game to get teachable (And only the ones i wanted, I still have plenty locked) I cant imagine how long that would have took without BBQ. And i feel like i still dont get very many BP as survivor compared to killer even with WGTLF, if youre someone who only plays survivor on PC and for whatever reason dont get david, good ######### luck

Ive only been called a gen rusher once and it was because the killer was camping the hook. I did 4 gens in about as many minutes while he sat there for all 3 states (I knew he was there because my teammates kept going to the hook and getting caught in a trap. By the time I got the door opened and saved one person I got the message.....from one of my teammates that had died while he was trying to save his friend for not running over and saving him instead of doing gens.
Survivor mains tend to be worse at survivor because they only understand half the game, but I see this all the time and it dont think its something that playing killer would even help you understand lol.

I think the only people happy about it are survivor mains because they either dont play killer at all r only in low ranks.
On one hand its slightly less annoying to play survivor....but I win most of the games anyway. On the other hand I now have to deal with even faster gen rushing as killer.
2 interesting things tho
Most people talk about replacing ruin not using it so we can all agree that it wasnt balanced but replaced with a middle tier perk that's only useful at all if you build around it on the right killer. Which is a shame because the killers who will struggle to get use out of it are the same ones that needed it most (This really a clown nerf if you think about it)
And anyone that tries to legitimately justify the removal of ruin always talk about how theyre happy because bad survivors wont weigh them down.....a perk was removed because bad survivors couldn't handle it. And the devs even said that bad survivors will still have a tough time with it but I dont think anyone was using ruin to try and beat rank 20s lol.
And I think I know the pain of survivors not doing gens at all if theres ruin more than anyone.....but wouldn't it make more sense to just fix ranks?

I think its not a hot take to say hes the weakest killer across the board but hes even worse on console because 1. Idk how its possible to aim those bottles so quickly and accurately like ive seen PC players do, and 2. Its the only thing that gives me reduce frames on Xbox. For whatever reason ive heard frame drops are more common on PS4 on certain maps (particularly Hawkins) so I can only assume hes just as bad or worse there and then theres switch.....I can only assume hes flawless.
