They dont go away. They're SUPPOSED to be a challenge.
If you want things handed to you, just ask.
Tell me why a bunch of people with survivor pictures are seriously telling me people DCing before i kill them in the basement is part of the challenge lol.
They need to take away killer/survivor paths because really most of the toxicity in this community comes from that division. Which is dumb, like yall all playing the same game. Its mostly survivors, like 90% survivors but even worse are the 10% of edgelord killers who are "Punishing" survivors for just playing the game. Like they get looped at a pallet and have a fit because you didn't run straight.
Like come tf on yall youre all lookin hella silly lol

So many people complaining about them as if they should be able to be done without working for them.
This is Tome IV. Its suppose to be hard and what we got was a joke. Its easier than the last one.
Look man i dont have a cookie to give you but im glad nobody DCing on you, that's good to hear

No, I said I do worst in SWF because I'm not concentrating on the game as much as I do in solo. In solo rather than talking to friends I'm just focusing on planning my next chase route.
As a killer I've played against a group of four mediocre survivors be really strong due to their team work. Generally good survivors don't need comms to play optimally, like you don't need to comms to know that if you are not being chased by the killer, do a generator.
To sum it up four good solo survivors will be just as challenging for the killer as SWF.
Except 4 mediocre or even great solo survivors still wont have the invaluable knowledge swf gives you. I feel like a lot of what youre saying can be attributed to you not playing killer but i think this should be pretty obvious to a survivor main lol. Maybe its because you just have random convos while in SWF, and theres nothing wrong with that btw, but if you do actually communicate with each other you get 4 sets of eyes

I personally always seem to play better when I am playing solo compared to when in SWF. I believe it's because when I'm playing solo I'm more focused on the game, whereas in SWF I'm often talking about stuff unrelated to the game and not really paying attention.
SWF is often related to gen rush, but good survivors don't need to know when to work on generators. If I'm not being chased I'll work on a generator (I ignore ruin). I've already pre-planned my chase route in case the killer disturbs my gen progress.
Where SWF is strong is the location of Hex Totems and saving time when making hook saves. Even with hook saves there's perks such as bond and kindred that tell the solo survivor if there is already another survivor going for the save.
Another factor with SWF is Matchmaking. Since the Strange Things chapter the matchmaking bases it on the highest ranked survivor in the group. The majority of SWF groups I see are one or two high ranked survivors with the rest being of low ranked. I'd rather go against one red rank survivor with three low ranked survivors with comms over four red ranked survivors without comms.
This is just my opinion, people will disagree with my opinion. With the rift challenges I have more confidence in completing them solo then I do completing them in a SWF.
so youre saying that you do worse in SWF because...you dont talk about the game?
Well im about to rock your world, if you guys actually talk about the game youll start dominating. Youll have the info of everyone else on your squad at your finger tips, youll know the killer, where hes at all times, what perks theyre running, and what gen you should be on.
I get the feeling from some of these replies that you guys aren't ignorant of how broken SWF is but just dont want survivor nerfs. But the devs are already aware that the system is broken (The game was never made for it it in the first place) and want to BUFF survivors so that everyone will be on equal grounds with communication and then balance the game around that.
I would link that info but im not sure exactly where I read it, I think it was an AMA in reddit that Paulie Esther went through on his channel (Great guy btw check him out if you haven't, pretty sure I was banned from commenting on his live stream for asking if he ever plays killer tho lol)

Im actually waiting for the final tome to decide if ill buy the rift pass or not. They changed a lot in tome 3 after trying it themselves, which i mean they really should have done before implementing them into the game, but at least we know they are playing and care about the experience, not just how many people complain.
Still gonna wait tho just in case
-
I dont think its any secret that the game is in favor of survivors, optimal SWF are going to win unless they make a dumb mistake
But non-SWF? I think its pretty balanced. I play solo and still win more often than not when im not throwing for the stupid rift challenges but then again i often feel like i dont get as good of killers as myself. The devs said something about giving all survivors more communications and then balancing around that which i think will help....but until then i guess the game just wont get balanced lol.

The 2010 remake did some things wrong, but its not an awful movie at all. Nancy was useless, but that gave the spotlight to Quentin (which Im not against).
Halfway through the movie it drastically changes from "Freddy might have been innocent" to "######### pervert!". The former might have been a better approach, giving more reason for Freddy to kill. Giving him a way to represent pure anger rather than just evil character number 3.
Despite those two facts, I like the darker tone they gave it. They also made Freddy a lot more threatening, in my opinion. And the effects werent bad at all. I cant think of a single scene in that film that looked lame. For instance, all micro-sleep transitions and events in the dream world are really well executed.
I dont think the movie was terrible but it hits every post 2000 movie cliché. I think the only reason its considered so bad and why its even remembered at all is because they took a legendary movie and made it to a by the numbers horror flick youll forget in a week, like most modern horror movies tbh. There were some great ideas and scenes....but they were all just worse versions of the original. The wall scene is the one people point to most but not only is bad CGI it could be from any 2000s horror movie. Even tho the ending was rehashed from the original (which i didn't love either narratively) the ending of the first was an elaborate fake out while the remake just felt like "Hey heres a little more gore!"
I do fully agree Freddy SHOULD be innocent tho, in the first one its obvious why he wasn't but by 2009 Freddy was known as a wise cracking icon that people loved, turning him into a sexual predator was the worst move they could have made because unlike dream warriors i cant imagine people coming out of the theatre and saying "Man i love Freddy"
That's the direction i hope take this new one in ,more weird special effects more likable freddy less uncomfortable ######### scenes. In the age of post IT i have high hopes for it

Survivor for whatever reason brings out the most toxic in people, it sucks but what can you do. You stop helping randoms and youll start losing more games because you have to work together

There's aim assist on all the killers anyway, lol
PC or console, controller or mouse.
im saying fortnite changes depending on your control method instead of staying consistent across the board. Its not about aim assist (tho i actually pretty sure PC doesn't have it or is weaker/option to turn off based off of what ive heard some youtubers say) its about making the killer playable on whatever platform youre on.

The way killers work needs to be consistent across the board.
Multiplatform games have always had this issue, especially when how they control is drastically different. But it's always best to keep things feature consistent.
But nurse doesn't work the same because people are using different control methods. It also doesn't matter unless they add cross play (Hopefully soon) but even when they do there would still be a divide. In fortnite theres aim assist on controller but not on mouse and keyboard, if you use a mouse and keyboard on console they will put you in a mixed lobby with mostly PC players

As someone who has collected all lore notes it definitely threw a few games here and there. I think I'm purple rank now due to it lol.
Dunno if that was fair to the other players but I had to do what I had to do.
Hopefully tome 4 isn't too bad. I want the revelation notes and will focus on them hard.
I threw so many games because of how dumb some of the challenges were, like getting a flashlight save. It wouldn't be so bad if you could do them all at once but since you have to pick them why would you not be trying to do what you just picked? If they were all active at once you could wait for a situation to happen naturally in a game but since they dont....

On console, she is the weakest. Simply because of the nature of controllers.
On PC, she is the strongest.
I know that's why i think she should word different on console/controller because she was already weak, the nerf really just kicked her whole down but i know shes OP on PC so obviously a nerf was necessary but only on PC

The survivors and killers we're allowed to play as/against are very likely not the only killers and survivors the Entity has at this 'time', and it wouldn't run only one trial at a time. Demogorgons are highly effective and efficient killing machines by nature. Having an alternate universe full of these things would be a goldmine. Personally I believe that Demogorgons are not created by the Mind Flayer but were taken over by it, so the Entity could simply go back to a time before the Mind Flayer would be around, but that's not canon.
I think entity values diversity, why take a bunch of Demogorons when you can have a Xenomorph and Pumpkinhead too? I hear people say that the entity only cares about the trails but then why would it make cosmetics and such? I think the entity views the survivors and killers as a collection
We also know the group we can play as aren't the only ones in the realm because i remember the alchemist mentioning a place where everyone that's no longer useful to the entity ends up

I mean, people who are actually good at nurse are (wait for it, this is going to blow your mind)...still good at nurse. Maybe you relied too much on certain elements of her. She's actually in a pretty good place now.
I play in xbox and have never, NEVER ever been killed by a nurse. I dont think ive ever even seen someone get killed by her. Most of the (Rare) games i have with her are filled with my teammates t bagging and taunting. Ive been trying to get better at her but i have yet to get more than one kill in a game. Whats even worse is that because all killer ranks are the same i dont have really have the opportunity to learn her because the survivors are already experienced
I realize this is besides the point of what people are talking about but Nurse is much different on console then she is on PC. I have no doubt in my mind she the weakest killer in the game. I would like a buff to her but with cross play Hopefully coming soon idk what it would be. Maybe something like fortnite where if they detect youre using a keyboard on console they switch your settings or something (not completely sure how it works, my knowledge is second hand), but it would be if you were using a controller on PC instead

I think Trapper is one of the weakest killers in the game and ive been thankful that so many of my matches are against him because of the challenges BUT, while doing one of his first challenges with him at level 1 with one perk i got a merciless. I thought that was weird so the next challenge i leveled him to get 3 perk slots and got the achievement easily. I think it comes down to smart trap placement and more importantly dumb survivors. In both of those games i set traps that people saw me set, but both times the guy on the hook/guy hiding behind a tree stepped on them.
Still have not been able to get hags achievement, even tho i think shes a much better killer. She just doesn't punish stupid plays like Trapper

Cool post. Although I’d have to disagree with the mori feature before 3rd hook. That could deny a flashlight save, decisive strike, etc.
That's what the sand throwing perk is for, basically a second DS unless they went for the hook. It would eliminate the last minute flashlight save but that has very rarely happened to me as a survivor and not as a killer since i was in low ranks and didn't really know how to play. The main reason i want this is because it would make the killer more intimating, Moris are cool, if each killer had multiple moris they'd be even cooler, but Ebony and even Ivory moris suck to play against. I think the trade off of not ever having to go against those more than make up for not being able to have a last minute flash light save, but then again im a solo green survivor so it may be more common with better survivors
