  • @Gardenia

Hopefully it will but there's no guarantee so try not to put your expectations too high.

  • @Andreyu44

Dude I'm sorry but if you use the term try hard or tryharding in a non ironic way I really can't take you seriously.

  • @Galklife

You really overestimate my ability to hit people with a direct bottle I could barely do that up-close let alone do it consistently enough to make the add on worthwhile.

But if I don't start using up my red add-ons they kinda just sit there doing nothing

As for my ruin that thing was destroyed before I encountered my first survivor.

  • @Remi1993

That is one thicc Boi clown in fact he's a thicc Boi Santa clown.

You embrace him not disconnect against him

  • @mylesmylo

No mentalities like this don't help anything right.

You know nothing about this person's playstyle yet you've already labelled them with the terms camper and douche.

Toxicity is toxicity no matter how you choose to cut it. Well I'm not asking you to jump and advocate for what they're talking about at least have some consideration that something that just like something can seriously annoy you something can seriously annoyed them.

  • Leatherface is definitely top priority

Legion definitely needs some little tweaks to their power currently chaining together frenzies is good but it doesn't really have much pressure unless you're running something like sloppy butcher or thanatophobia. Also fix their add-ons.

    1) The pins are ineffective and counterintuitive

    2) Stab wounds study: is pointless now due to the deep wound change

    3) Frank's mixtape: just like the pins is ineffective and counterintuitive

    4) Fuming mixtape: sucks it has always sucked but at least before the rework when frenzy he was spammable you could have at least he used it doesn't change the fact that it was still sucked

Amanda also need a couple of tweaks to her power and the addons need a good look over too.

    1) Mostly all the addons related to bear traps suck or are super conditional

    * Tempered timer is nice but it's useless if the trap doesn't activate before they get it off

    * the gear addons are also nice however they're based on RNG so if someone gets it off in the first box it's pointless

*last will with the endgame change having more traps doesn't really do anything but it's alright

Everything else related to bear traps pretty much sucks

    2) Don't even get me started on Amanda's secret. It doesn't need a buff it needs an outright rework.

    3) Amanda's letter could use a buffs as much as I really love the add-on the negatives for using it vastly outweigh the positives that you get which shouldn't be the case for an ultra rare

  • @mylesmylo

Well I don't consider it something that needs to be addressed I can understand why it's completely irritating when it happens.

Having notifications constantly paying off repeatedly is the most annoying thing when you're trying to focus on what you doing as a killer. It's like a doctor just repeatedly shocking you and doing nothing else it doesn't really benefit them in fact that hinders them more but it is super annoying

  • One-time use or not it could be very annoying for a killer.

With the current methods of stunning we have it at least takes some skill to get a stun off with the easiest method being a pallets stun during a chase.

Progressively getting harder requiring you to get your timing more accurate with each and every other step method currently the hardest is probably to get a head on stun.

This item will make getting a stun super easy and would allow for a lot of cheesy situations.

One thing I will say thank god we don't have a system like Friday the 13th because Jason could be very easily bullied by just one person or at least until they gave him his rage buff

  • Huntress was easy to play.

I was a rank 20 killer and rank 20 survivors tend to run in a straight line so getting hatchets was easy af.

Then I encountered survivor who looked behind them, zigzag in chases and more importantly knew how to juke. Really put me in my place as a baby Huntress.

I continued practicing and got good woth her but then Amanda came out and as a Saw fanboy Huntress got tossed aside.

Listen to Papi Volfa Amanda, Min and Susie are best girls also David, Joey and Jake are best bois.

    Don't @ me

  • 5 more bad ideas yay.

    6) They already base faster gate opening speed it made. It made it super easy for survivor once again lead to an a or b choice for the killer

6.5) However I'm all down for buffing wake up. It's an endgame perk and right now it's nice but too situation and is currently outclassed in it's own job by the leader boost.

    7) or you can mindgame with the light and use it to make a killer patrol on side whilst you open the other door. The change you suggested will result in boring immersed gameplay where the survivor has no risk

    8) You really don't learn. This would turn onto a drawn out hide and seek match were the survivor is too afraid to open a gate and has no pressure to do so allowing them to hide till the killer gets bored.

    9) You don't know this community do ya.

The second some survivors notice they've lost they would suicide to deny blood points and emblems hell they already do this with disconnecting and you're seriously suggesting giving them a punishment free version for disconnecting and not expecting it to be abused.

    10) This is stupid, nothing else needs to be said.

Well I'll give you this, out of the 5 new "solutions" you suggested, you actually made half of a good suggestion with buffing wake up, too bad it was attached to a stupid idea so I could only give ya half a point.

  • If you give it to a perk like small games so it has a counter like thrill of the hunt then sure awesome idea.

If you want it to be in the base kit hell no. I'm not a fan of free information it gives people less reason to use underrated perks and makes the meta stale.

Also with the blood points changes coming you have more incentive to cleanse totems if totems still aren't be cleansed that's on the survivors

  • @slipttees

    1) that's not going to fix the problem with high mobility killers and it's only really going to cripple slower or M1 Killers

    2) could very easily use the lights to your advantage if you can't work of the lights there's your problem not the game's

    3) for the love of God stop making this suggestion

  • @slipttees

My main point is exit Gate opening speed is such a niche thing that I don't feel like attaching it to two different perks is a good idea especially when the first perk it's attached to his already so situational at doing it's own job.

Would be a lot more beneficial to just but wake up so it could do its job a lot better and find something more unique to be centred around left behind rather than having one perk that's situational and another perk that situational, both revolving around opening the gates faster

  • @Visionmaker

Ahh purging the legacy of Sabo Jake one slug at the time.

Not going to lie letting someone bleed out can be pretty toxic but considering you were saboing their hooks, I think it's a fair trade-off

  • I'm sorry but David is one sexy beast however you are entitled to your wrong opinion

  • I don't think it really needs a vault speed increase what I would really like to see if it gets any changes at all which it's in a very good place so I doubt it would.

Would it be to include jumping out of a locker fast. It would make locker jukes a lot more effective as you could quickly pop in and jump out of a speed boost but also helping synergize more with perks like dance with me and quick and quiet

  • @TheRockstarKnight

When someone slugs you on the ground till you bleed out so you die in a slow and drawn out way yet then complains that you should have disconnected because you're wasting their time.

The amount of mental gymnastics you would have to do to come up with that conclusion.

  • I've always found it incredibly stupid statement to make.

Even if a new killer or a reworked killer comes out there could also be perk changes and various other different things that people want to test out the interactions with.

If I want to test out some new or reworked perks with Amanda or Legion why should I completely have to stop that because I'm not playing the new Killer or the reworks killer

  • As somebody said above it was pretty much the tinkerer situation each new map would have to have different brightness settings applied to them.

There would have to be a super bright version or super dark version and the ones in between.

You end up doing a lot more work than you originally intended on doing just to keep the offering relevant as if you make maps that aren't compatible with the offering people start to complain.

Just like how people were annoyed that tinkerer had no effect on killers like Freddy and Amanda

  • As a killer it would be between

Surveillance: it's an amazing gen monitoring perk. I love the are design of the perk self and I'm so glad they removed the stupid timer that it used to have.

    Or

Mad grit: this thing is a godsend against altruistic survivors especially when paired up with agitation and you'll be surprised that you can actually chase people down then smack them down after their body block attempt and severely reduced the penalty for that.

As a survivor it would be between

Alert: another perk. I am really glad they took away the time limit and the Range limit. With the previous version of this you ended up being so close to the killer that you could actively see or hear if they were breaking pallets but the change made it such a useful perk. I'm kind of sad with how underrated it is but it definitely will always be my favourite.

    Or

Wake up: Honestly I loved this perk even before endgame collapse happened as it saved my as multiple times but with endgame collapse it's only bailed me out even more. Well I still feel like it could use its numbers tweaked to benefits you more when your all by yourself and the hatch is closed but it's still my joint favourite

  • Happy Bday, Mate

  • @slipttees said:

Wakeup isn't for solo. So much so that it shows its aura to the other survivors.

We need change in Left Behind rework to open exit gates 20/25/30% more faster.

    @slipttees

Then you run into an issue where the difficulty in opening and eggs again is typically when you're by yourself.

While wake up is good for the information you have no control on whether you are the one that opens the exit gate or not.

If you keep finding that somebody gets to the gates before you, honestly running leader is a lot better as you buff that person's gate opening speed a lot more than wake up does

if anything is bathed to do with opening exit again it should simply Blbe retained to wake up it's way too situational to justify having it on another perk

  • These are all terrible solutions to a problem that is not a problem

    1) if the endgame time didn't start when Hatch was closed a survivor could very easily just hide until the killer gets bored. If you didn't know this typically happened lot before the endgame collapse if the killer managed to kill three survivors before 2 gens were completed with no Hatch the survivor would literally just hide instead of completing a last gen required to make Hatch spawn.

    2) If you do this then you would see a sharp rise in the amount of people who would immediately start Hatch camping the second they realised they weren't going to win. This is once again turn the game into a very annoying drawn out game of hide and seek.

    3) Then you are severely lessening the punishment for losing as a survivor. Solo Survivor or survive with friends the people you are with are your team. They might be potatoes or they might be carrying you whichever one doesn't really matter if the killer manages to wipe out the survivor team and remove the advantage of the numbers they have why should the final survivor be rewarded with a massive benefit.

    4) Once again I don't think you think things through. This would typically make survivors who finds this chest just play immersed and hide until endgame starts at which point they will just wait for the killer to close the hatch take the key and leave there's no skill in that. This would basically just send us back to square one where the killer had no power during in the hatch situation

    5) Once again this would not require any skill it would basically turn the game into a massive A or B choice if the killer chose the wrong exit gate then the survivor get a free escape. This will only end up punishing Killers who don't have mobility nurse hillbilly and maybe spirit will all still be powerful with this change every other killer would severely be punished. The way the system is now is fine it's RNG based if the gates spawn far away the killer has a difficult time if the gates spawn close together the survivor has a difficult time.

What's your trying to suggest or what you're asking to be implicated is to have the survivor be able to one the one the killer which should never be the case.

In a 1 v 1 scenario if the survivor isn't playing extremely cautiously and has a little bit of luck on their side they should lose.

  • @surviversneedabuff said:

Rework: If you're the last person alive, open the Exit gates 30% faster. The killer usualy patrols around in like 10 seconds anyway. If its one of the maps where the exit doors are literally on the same wall and you get a huntress, she can just hatchet both while sitting in the middle (i've done that before... not proud of it!)

    @surviversneedabuff

Wake up: am I a joke to you?

  • Leatherface needs a rework.

His defensive base chainsaw doesn't serve much of a purpose outside of camping.

The only time Leatherface is really frightening as if he's on a basement build and even then you basically just have the proxy camp.

After Leatherface I would say Legion I don't think they need a complete overhaul I just feel like frenzy needs a couple of tweaks.

    The basic concept is fine.

They just need to add something to make the power more impactful for example a reward for chaining hits together. Like giving frenzy a speed boost every time you apply deep wounds or reducing the fatigue time for each person you apply it to.

Also get changed of the addons that require you to hit same person multiple times in frenzy Franks mixtape and the pins do not work with their new kit.

Honestly after that I don't think any Killers really need reworks.

Just buffs in certain areas and an add-on pass (basically a similar thing that they did with Wraith) at that point I would say Amanda and Doctor should be next time

  • @ProfoundEnding

Honestly I would prefer if they just straight up put it in the store because if it was put on the Rift that would be annoying as hell.

I don't know if it's just the cynic in me talking but I could definitely see it passed off as "new" Min cosmetic which might cancel out the opportunity of us getting anything actually do for her new.

I mean she currently is the (pre store) survivor with the least amount of cosmetics a honour that she holds tied with David which is worst considering that the cosmetics they got recently is what basically slightly kept them up there. They still would have been the joint lowest but they would have been lower.

  • @LancerCain

The RAM of The Entity has already been confirmed to be a timeless place you don't age from when you were brought in.

Which would mean the Legion are still in their teens.

Susie being roughly about 16 or 15 so far the youngest member of the legion until stated otherwise probably will get more information with the archives

Frank 19, Julie 17/18 and Joey is probably about 18.

Whichever age that people like nurse, spirit and all of them were brought in to is the age they remain.

If that wasn't the case then huntress would be an old decrepit Woman by this point

  • You're not serious. This post is a joke, the person who wrote this is a lie.

They're a bot or something. Even for the memes I have never heard someone compare camping and tunneling to cyberbullying.

    I'm dying.

  • I typically only do it if the survivor in question got screwed over in the match or if their teammates were absolute potatoes.

Trust me I know solo survivors at pain in the ass especially when your teammates are suicidal lemmings. But it's not something that I do to often

  • Survivor: Kate for the sole reason that I preferred old Kate her injured sounds and her hooks scream made from any good memes.

If you want a more serious answer than that Jeff not really all that stealthy is as big as David ( Who at least has the benefit of being sexy) and his moans are louder and more annoying than Jake and that's saying something

Killer: Hag- I just can't stand her aesthetically, I personally hate her mori, don't like her backstory or her power. If there is any saving grace that she has to me is that her mori is definitely in the top 5 when it comes to BM mori spam

  • Killer:

Pale Rose - I can deal with Grim Pantry however that Pale Rose is just annoying as all hell also I hate the stupid horn when the boat gen gets completed. Also any time I get that map playing pig my hex totems are guaranteed to spawn next to jigsaw boxes.

Haddonfield: balanced landing Infinite and the stupid long fences that make chasing a pain in the ass for M1 Killers

    Survivor:

Haddonfield. The stupid long as fences screws me as a survivor as well especially from up against the huntress or a Billy and I can't juke because I'm running a tight straight line.

Honorable mention to old preschool - The only map where it was so safe to run around the school that if anybody went there I would just leave them. Also let's not forget the fact that if the basement didn't spawn there, the area in the boiler room with the hatch normally spawns was a dead zone that you could not bring a survivor to the hook unless you had agitation or iron grasp

  • @martin27

The journal entry describing Kate is to be believed in this is the case.

It also seems apparent that there are allowed to talk and converse with each other when not in trials as Kate was able to sing for everybody at the campfire.

  • @TRB124

To say that items can't change the tide of battle is stupid.

An insta heal can extend the chase or even completely reset the progress that the killer did to down a survivor.

The right toolbox can be used to complete gens really quickly or depending on your build get really clutch sabotages.

A flashlight can be used to extend the chase or once again completely reset the progress that the killer made downing a survivor.

But I'm not even asking for compensation I'm simply stating that I understand why killers in general and more points because in reality they need more points

  • @Kabu

Honestly I don't mind seeing less Quentin at least on Xbox anyway most p3 Quentins are entitled douches.

I'm just sad about the lack of Legions

  • I feel like the gap was more necessary Killers would often need to spend more bloodpoints as you said because of add-ons.

As survivors could easily just get items just by running chest builds and they keep all their items and addons if they've survived a killer does not even with a 4k

Also a killer has to stay in the match until everybody is left whilst a survivor can have multiple matches. Especially on matches that get drawn out you could have survivors that can complete multiple games whilst you're still stuck on one drawn out 1 as the Killer.

I don't know why I feel like if they go too heavily on these changes is going to just be a massive disincentive to play Killer as you could get the same amount of points as a survivor do it more frequently and put in less work

  • The sad thing is I have seen more P3 Quentins this year play both survivor and killer then I have Legion.

My current total is 4 Quentin two of which I'm pretty sure were the same person

  • I like the concept this seems to be a little bit much of a push.

if people start running Saboteur more frequently you're going to find a lot of Killers are just going to slug because they don't know whether the hooks going to break or not.

At least if see a Sabo Jake running up to a hook I can at least that it might get destroyed and try in a different direction or worst case scenario just drop the survivor and chase Jake instead.

Basically you're gaining a lot of benefits with very little risk for your tokens that is going to make it a very highly used perk

  • You know you could still body block the Hatch right.

If you stand over it nobody can jump in just do that until it closes if somebody use the key.

Or if it's staying permanently open because only one survivor is left on the map you could just slam it shut

  • @AetherBytes said:

the only problem is that is Final Destination always shows the kills, no-one just disappears. The Entity also forcefully takes some people, as she did with Kate (Or whoever the guitar girl is).

    @AetherBytes

I don't think that will be a problem.

Amanda and Tapp both had their death Death scenes shown which integrated into the Dead by daylight lore of everything going black for them and then waking up in the entity's realm.

So it's not out of the question for someone from the Final Destination films to share a similar thing after their death everything goes black and they just wake up in the entity's realm with none of the injuries they received whilst dying.

Personally if I had to pick any survivors I would say Clear or Olivia.

  • @Andreyu44 said:

Is he confirmed to come to console?

    @Andreyu44

Yeah it's 100% confirm that he's coming along with the mid chapter patch.

As Xbox player I'm super happy because it means I could finally use the how many times do I have to teach you this lesson old man joke.

Also I like the sounds that grandpa makes when he gets hit

  • I'm just happy we're getting Grandpa

  • Yeah I just really watched the video and is definitely playing against Pat.

Sorry to pop your theory bubble.

But who knows maybe we could petition to get them to make a survivor based on @Patricia

  • @Guertena

The dream clocks don't increase the time to wake somebody up. They give you 30 seconds of immunity before you start passively falling asleep again.

Increasing time to wake someone up seems that every time somebody wakes you up from the Dream World the next time someone tries to wake you up it's going to take longer up until 16 seconds.

For example if Neo goes to David to wake her up. The next time she's put asleep and goes to Claudette to wake her up it's going to take longer.

The wake-up penalty seems to be only attached to the character that gets woken up

The only downsides to staying in the dreamworld are

    1) You're susceptible to dream snares and dream pallets

    2) Freddy will get reduced cooldown on his teleportation for every person that is in dreamworld. 15% per dw survivor for a maximum of 60% if everybody is sleeping or 80% with add-ons

    3) you become susceptible to the addons that will reduce your action speed

  • It was most likely just a slip of the tongue and he meant against.

Especially considering Patricia herself confirm this in another thread asking the same

  • @[Deleted User] said:

    @Volfawott

They removed that feature for 2 reasons:

    • It might take a survivor almost the entirety of the available 2 minutes during EGC to search jigsaw boxes and remove the trap, leaving the survivor no time to get back to a gate, which is 100% unfair.
    • And 2. Even before the EGC it was very unlikely The Pig could rely on a survivor stupidly escaping whilst a trap was still on their head. Most survivors wont do that. Plus it’s simply not healthy for a player to rely on a passive way to kill survivors.

    @DudeDelicious

    1) The endgame timer could have very easily been slow down. If someone has a reverse bear trap on like if somebody is down or on hook. This would give the survivors 4 minutes to take off the trap hell that's longer than the actual reverse bear trap timer I didn't manage to get the trap off you were practically dead anyway.

    2) The point wasn't to get people to kill themselves by leaving the point was that when someone has a reverse bear trap on you didn't have to deal with them as they were essentially stuck until they got it off meaning you could focus your attention on the other survivors.

If "Survivor A" had a bear trap I didn't have to pay any attention to them until they got it off giving me full time to focus my attention on "survivor B"

  • @TAG

I just find it really annoying that her power has been severely crippled and without compensation

  • That sounds less like a challenge and more of a tedious waste of time.

The amount of map pressure you lose by doing that is ridiculous.

You might as well just play Amanda or ghostface and Crouch by the gen with the survivors and just pay pretend like you're helping them.

  • @Orion

It's heavily implied that death in the Final Destination franchises is a sadistic douche.

In the novels and the comics it's even implied that death is the one that gives the premonition to the survivors just to make things interesting.

The drawn out needless brutality of the survivors deaths is also something that death just does for giggles. it's very capable of killing them off quickly and efficiently it just chooses not to instead opting for the more torturous drawn-out methods

Honestly when you look into the Comics and the novels it pretty much reveals that Death is just a massive troll that does a lot of this stuff because it's bored.

If you want an example from the movies a good example is from final destination 2.

The fact that it waits until after they think they've saved Isabella and her baby losing two of the group members in the process before it drops the bombshell that lol she wasn't even meant to die.

Another example from Final Destination 4 ( yeah that travesty) is the fact that death waits until Jonathan is out of his coma before it starts to rube Goldberg him even though technically on the death list he was supposed to die before hunt and Janet however death didn't see it as a fun thing to kill a guy in a coma.

If released talking about Final Destination, death is very malicious and sadistic

  • Honestly I've heard a very decent suggestion that the blocked off gens would start regressing if there is any progression down to them as if the killer had kicked them.

This would help out a lot of pressure and will also make up for the cool down that the perk has and it could also combined well with things like surveillance for a more consistent way of keeping gens under control than using ruin
