They should add daily rewards that includes Iridescent Shards.
I think people will stop complain about the end-game points.
With this grind? These bloodpoints don't keep up. Players need a raise.
-
Perhaps, if Pinhead could see the box, held or otherwise, within 6 or 8 meters of himself..

well then i hope they nerf that part of pinhead not hoarder. cause i dont want another spirit situation where they nerfed stridor instead of spirits problems killing stridor.
I agree. My thinking is, if a survivor can't drop the box like any other item, why, then, should perks treat it as such?
A change needs to deal with the box, not the Hoarder perk.
-
Bloodpoints are oversaturated with the ever-growing grind. They're not keeping up with inflation.
Thanks, Boomers.

i thought about it , i used to think it was busted. but i hope to hell they dont change it cause right now. hoarder is worthless unless on pinhead.
That's the very issue, bud, and how overbearing it is with him. Thanks for joining the conversation.

No sweatier than usual for a Wilson name. Go ahead, slap on "Wilson" and truly embrace the tunnels.
It's astonishing.

who is wilson
Light at the end of the tunnel, evidently.

It's a purely honest question; I've accepted my fate. I rarely pip because of it. So long as I can help complete others' challenges and the team escape, I'm fine.
I'm fiiine.

Wait... does it actually give a notification now from the start of the game? Or when the gens are done?
Activates when a survivor is hooked for the first time; if there aren't totems, it can't activate. I just break totems as I see them.
-
Also now for Hex: Plaything
-
Drop it to daily and say two entirely random perks each side locked
-
I also stop in chase if the survivor starts on a glyph they obviously need.
-
Tell me, "I want easy survivor games" without telling me you want easy survivor games.
I do most of that, anyway :-p I will, however, slug all I need.

That's because his hitboxes were so bad that made him unplayable, bad example.
Never said it'd be quick.

End of season rewards for individual killers sure would help with the grind

I'm trying to learn nurse gameplay, but her gameplay is ######### hard to play, however since nurse hard to play, however how noob / baby the killer using nurse will always get matchmaking with survivor who know how to do gen (M1). This killer so weak and hard to play. I will always get no survivor on hook ,.
It's rough going with her at the start. There's no way around it, just gotta go through it, and she takes a lot of time to start getting a little decent with her. Once you do, though, it starts feeling really good. She becomes highly rewarding.

Give me a good reason that makes him a decent killer.
Slap on Hoarders and continually contest the box. It's bonkers.
-
@Msterflex said:
In my experience the only map this killer struggles on is the really big map with the building in the middle because survivors can get a huge distance.
To be fair, the size of all the large maps are an issue.
-
Why on Earth would you ever put Franklin's on the Chainslinger? Pinhead needs the survivor to be holding the box when going down.
Hoarder, on the other hand, has great potential to be outright oppressive.
-
I've got say; if you want more variety in colors, then you need "another suit."

Last Year looked okay. They just made the mistake of releasing it on Discord of all things.
DbD has had some sort of growth, but not enough. It's evolved visually, and the only form of new, game-changing content is the Killers. DbD is a much different game then it used to be, but it's main gameplay formula has always stayed the same.
Well, if it changed formula, it wouldn't exactly be DBD. What if Mario Kart changed formula?

idk. currently it feels like just having 4 non swf good survivors is unfun.
Absolutely, it's not the SWF, it's the individual skills and game awareness of the survivors. Get a group of competent survivors and there's little, if anything, a killer can do. The high-end design of the game is totally around survivors to the point the killer all but relies on survivor mistakes.
-
They ought to first figure out how to make a functional map. They're too concerned with releasing new content that they divert loads of time/resources away from the overall health of the game. Five years and we're still dealing with this trash.
I also see yet another post edited by a mod. What are they doing?

Talking about boon totem ? Yeah that's a bit concerning, but let's wait to see how it will turn out. If the killer can see the aura, it's not a problem imo, as the killer always go in the entire map. But yeah, let's wait to see.
About the OP subject, I want to talk about the passive of Pinhead, that forces surv to go and use its box or else they won't be able to do anything productive, I really like that design, it's a pure secondary objective that surv have to keep in mind.
Also, the Hex : Plaything is a super design, or surv choose to stay oblivious, and you can have grab or free hits (even downs), or they go to search their totems they can quite easily find (easily because they see it's aura, but they have to run in the entire map, so it takes some time), and it buys you some time X4, as each survivor on his first hook will activate a dull totem.
And about gen rushing, I keep thinking that, or you didn't apply enough pressure at the start, or that was pure bad luck (you know, when three surv are split on three different gens while you're chasing someone, you can't do anything about that, and you can't be mad at them, because yes, they are doing their objective, and as solo, they don't know what are doing the others), or they were actually gen rushing you (I mean, they brought BNP, Prove Thyself, never healed, brought green/purple toolboxes, that IS genrushing).
Sure as killer, the game is a time trial. But it will be forever like that, else the killer would have too much time, and there the killer gameplay would be easy. The killer job is hard because it's a 1v4, and from the survivor's perspective, dude, 80 seconds seem an eternity, making it longer would be obnoxious and literaly impossible when facing top tier killers with Ruin/Undying, and as solo it would ask to loop longer for people that are doing ???? You don't know. And to sit longer for a good M1 simulator.
To conclude, I think BHVR has to continue making design how they did with PinHead's passive, and Hex : Plaything. Also, about Boon Totem, if it takes 20-32 seconds to make a dull a Boon totem, that would be nice for the killer.
Indeed, boons just have me really nervous and I'm already on the cusp of uninstalling.

No i should not waste a perk slot for covering a Hex... that's stupid game design. You make spawns better so Hexes have a chance on their own. Tell me do you run Undying by itself? I don't.
Undying does nothing if there's no other Hex so you are using 2 hexes to make each other useful cause own their own they are useless, one because Spawns are horrible and the other because it does nothing besides replacing another Hex.... That's BAD game design. I'm not wasting 2 perk slots just for the usefulness of 1 perk. I'd use undying if i was using a full Hex build and that's a maybe, since Retribution, Thrill, and Haunted Grounds would cover up Devour or Ruin pretty well already.
Again i already said i don't mind them spawning together, i said the problem was the location and what was in that location... A Gen and a Hex Totem. The chances of anyone seeing the Totem were Extremely High, almost 100% i'd say. I lost 2 things because RNG screwed me, not Survivor skill, not my skill or lack of it, RNG, i got screwed even before i could move. But you're saying it's my fault because i didn't Run Undying... Yeah makes sense.
How hard can it really be to not have survivors spawn on top of gens/totems? It's damn frustrating and BHVR knows this. They just don't give two squirts of piss.
-
Talk about overpowered, good lord! You're wanting them to have essentially seven perks?!
Rancor as base. BBQ as base. Bitter Murmur as base. Infectious Fright as base. How about that?
-
Ok, but we'll buff killer speed to 117/112/98%, increase all lunge distances by 8%, and reduce terror radius from 32 to 24, 24 to 16 (Myers from 16-12).
Trapper gets two traps. Huntress gains Iron Maiden-speed for reload. Clown gets two more bottles. Deathslinger's base reload is quickened by 9%. Nurse no longer has the extra fatigue from missed hits. Pig's time to crouch is reduced by 0.3 seconds. Ghost Face's recovery reduced by 3.2sec. Pinhead's chains apply Hindered for 3sec after breaking. Let's see, what other things could we do with killers to counter such a crazy survivor basekit?

I uninstalled.

Anyone recall the last time generators popping too fast was the hot topic, so BHVR buffed Prove Thyself?

They are adding another survivor objective..... for the killer, in a 4v1 asymmetrical game.
-
Short answer: BHVR has no clue what they're doing.

Don't worry I'm sure the map design team will make it worse.

They don't know what they're doing, that's been obvious for five damn years, and then they want to try a censoring program?
"Brunswick" was censored, for crying out loud.
-
Are you WANTING survivors split up? Particularly with a stalky boi?
-
Giving the killer a survivor objective in a 4v1 asymmetrical game has me quite nervous.

Annoying as #########. I don't play him because I hate playing against him so damn much.

Are you really asking BHVR to be transparent? Oh, that's rich!

Oh no I'm not playing "lemme put this trap right here cuz I'mma a bit**" 😂 I just hate her too much to play her but I do see ur point
Definitely with you there. In descending order of killers I won't play because I hate playing against them so. damn. much: Doctor, Hag, Spirit/Trickster.
I can't stand the constant location detection from Doctor and constant zaps.
Hag is the camping queen.
Spirit because her counterplay is largely luck.
Trickster because, damn, he's annoying as all hell with those knives. "Just get it over with," I find myself saying.
-
Survivor-induced camping, somehow the killer's fault.
-
The timer for his chain hunt to start really needs to be increased.
-
Doubt it would be hard, most everything's already there.

The grades are not part of the match making.
Exactly, grades are simply a placeholder for end of season rewards.
We used to laugh at rainbow ranks, but we can't really laugh at rainbow grades. Grade does not indicate one's SBMM.

Yeah, just wanted to hear it from someone else. It's itching my CDO, but that's a me problem.

The grade is simply a placeholder for end of season rewards. Your SBMM will fluctuate, but the grade won't decrease to a lower tier.
