Sorry to rain on your parade but she's LONG due for a nerf, win% will prove that

I think the devs did a great job on reworking Badham, particularly with pallet spawns. When I play survivor, I feel theres enough pallets close together that I can hop between many in a chase. When I play killer, I feel the pallets are easy enough to mindgame.
Now the question is will the devs ever rework the older maps, aka Coldwind, Macmillan, and Autohaven. And by rework, I don't mean 5 different version of the same map. I just mean change the way pallets spawn and the strength of loops, especially the infinites that are oh so plentiful on these maps.
"Easy enough to mindgame" By that you mean, wait for crutch bloodlust for free hit
-
I mean I would like to bring up the fact that killers can find ebony mori's in 40+ bloodwebs nearly every single time. Yet I can't find a single purple flashlight. Let's talk.
-
It's been a thing for a long ######### time, mainly after the pallet changes. Absolute joke. The same way I feel about being sawed through a window when the fast vault is already completed on my end.
-
This is why I enjoy being at these ranks, so when I find you in one of my games as killer. I don't need to feel so bad about being toxic with flashlights, tea bagging you, and looping you for an entire game. :)
-
They can't think of anything other for us to do then work on generators, so survivors will continue to get nerfed. The exhaustion status was the first of many to come, now you see map reworks, less pallets (and further away), killers ridiculous hitboxes + lunges, and overpowered perks every single chapter. While survivors get 6 more gutter perks this DLC lmao. So yeah, this is just how it is unfortunately. Sad state of the game.
-
Let me guess we aren't going to get a response on this even though NOBODY on my friend list can get in game.
-
What's with all the debate in this thread, the perk is bad. Just use borrowed time.
-
Any teammate (Happens VERY often) that crouches and watches me sit on hook until second phase or just straight dying, not doing gens, not doing totems, literally just immersed and hiding after i've looped the killer for at least 3 gens.
-
What's the point in getting to red rank? I don't enjoy playing against nurse every single match.
-
Thanks to the killer mains in this game survivors are no longer allowed to have "meta" perks. Meanwhile every chapter they continuously get meta perks. MoM was the last good perk, and look what happened. /thread
-
There's nothing to discuss here, just another UNDERWHELMING set of perks, including this one. BT beats this perk in every single way possible.

First of all, Pig isn't low tier and Huntress isn't top 3 anymore.
Second, you can gen rush even strong killers, as Depip Squad demonstrated.
Please stop bringing up the depip squad when survivors have been HEAVILY nerfed since said "test" was applied. it is no longer valid

A thousand times this. I can't begin to count the amount of times I see someone praise a YouTuber as if their outlook or opinion means more.
Wait like a lot of you guys do on this forum regarding truetalent? lololol

Spirit fury is counter-able by dropping pallets a bit early, or by looping around windows, negates the perk completely. SF is a strong perk, but I wouldn’t say it’s “ abusable”. Your suggestion will weaken the perk, and killers will lose an effective perk to deal with pallet looping. I think it’s now in a good place.
It is 100% abusable especially by killers like hillbilly who don't care about how far away you get. Saying its not abusable tells me you don't play against killers with brains.

@DaS_only said:
It's funny, killers were crying about self care and healing is to fast. Now after they nerfed healing times and survivors adapted they want to nerf adrenaline
YEEEP!! NAILED IT! THEY WANT YET ANOTHER PERK NERFED.

@Marcus said:
There are new status effects that will buff stealth killers against Object of Obsession and which should be added soon, untill then, just play Nurse or Spirit, the only 2 killers that don't give a [BAD WORD] against Object of Obsession users.
They don't give a ######### about any perk. Not just this one specifically. Please don't sugarcoat unbalanced killers to compliment your opinion.
-
Maybe it's just me, but they seem to be doing just fine at red ranks. Wonder why.

You should then, because most things said about the state of the game are poorly-supported. If people somehow hypothetically had a minimum meaningful word-count, they'd have to put a lot more thought into what they're saying rather than making drive-by arguments without any substance.
Drive-by statements hold more water than anything i've ever read from you, to be quite frank.

You can dodge if you'd like, but I bet your lobbies will take much much longer.

I think the format where a person chooses to respond with selective-quote followed by counter-point, then another selective-quote followed by counter-point and so in, that's a very obtuse way of making a reply. It becomes an entire house of cards of bad-faith.
I choose what my points are and how I frame them, not you. If I attract supporting upvotes, it's not necessarily because they all agree with me; some might appreciate that I have a particular stance on how I engage with others directly. I might use hyperbole and rhetoric when I'm discussing ideas and general points-of-view, but when it comes to individuals; no matter how much I may disagree with them or think them misguided, that they have personal agency is sacrosanct.
If I ever set out to demolish the genuine express views of someone, I first assume I know nothing of them. Then once I am confident I have a good idea, I will get clariifcation and specification from the person. When I have an accurate picture of what they really believe and why, that's still not good enough: I will then assume it has no inherent flaws internally even if they are obvious. I will set myself the difficult challenge: of arguing against the strongest possible version of their viewpoint, with no assumption of bad-faith on their part.
People have noticed this and I am striving to be consistent with it: I want better standards of discussion than what currently exists here.
Reading your own post and trying to sum-up it's entirety; I'm not even sure if you're arguing with me, or for an audience.
I'm sorry we don't all come here to write a thesis about how unbalanced this game is.
-
Just because you're bad at the game and can't adapt in that time period doesn't mean everyone else is.

Killers have 4 perks against survivors 16, more if they are SWF because they VOIP allows them to share basic information normally limited to perks at no cost. Killer perks are if anything, not strong enough considering the disadvantage a killer is at.
Most useful killer perks have poor-synergy together or form off-builds which are sub-optimal. Survivors meanwhile have recieved an average of two new 2nd-chance perks every year, all of which not only synergise and can be equipped to all four perk slots without clashing, but each one in-use decreases significantly the chance that another will have to be used. Imagine every survivor using all their perk slots for this.
They each get two chances to be hooked before it's fatal. They can heal an unlimited number of times working together or act independently if they run Self-Care; punishing a killer for not tunelling someone already injured. They can then restart the chase after being picked up if they were rescued recently and the killer doesn't have to tunnel them: just search the wrong locker. If the killer is able to slug them instead and they can't get healed, they can self-revive with Unbreakable after a long chase where MoM or Dead Hard gave them a way to ignore a hit. When hooked at the end of the game, providing the existing 2nd-chance perks have given them the chance to be rescued, either Decisive Strike or Borrowed Time will virtually garauntee they get away no matter what almost any killer does.
Now times all that by four.
Your usual whining post. Nothing to see here. KiLlErS ArE WeAk

Perk will get you nowhere if you are bad at the game. That doesn't mean the perk is bad. Iron will is one of the best perks in dbd. Even truetalent agrees.
Why does everyone use him as an example on this forum lol.. he's subpar when it comes to some of the more talented killers/survivors
-
Dear arrogant selfish gen rusher, i've been tunneled all game, finally managed to escape the killer, PLEASE HEAL ME BECAUSE I DONT RUN SELF CARE SINCE IT WAS NERFED INTO THE FLOOR!
-
I'm sure the 5 seconds of chat that you CHOOSE to partake in at the end of a match is detrimental to how you play this game. *rolls eyes*
-
Exhaustion, 100% no if's and's or but's about it.
-
They won't even put old outfits for purchase with shards, you think they want to reward "good" behavior, lmao

A lot of people in here are talking as if they play with a minimap hacked into their HUD, like "spine chill is useless bro, just know where the killer is at all times, even if they're stealth-based or have a small TR + M&A".
You know they're the type to DC when they get yoinked by a ghostface, call it Bullsh*t, and make an angry tik tok post (is post the right word? I actually don't know)
Uhh, you don't need SC to avoid getting grabbed by a myers or a ghostface. Just pay attention to your surroundings. It's not hard.
-
While I agree spine chill is underrated, it's also not necessary especially at high level play. Most spirits all go for the same routine thinking you'll window or pallet, if yous top running and giving them scratch marks you'll get away pretty easily. On top of that, prayer beads are aids yeah but also easy to avoid if you know where she is in the first place.

While I do agree that solo players have it worse than swf, especially against Nurse, I still stand by what I said. The people who learn her complicated power deserve the power, and as long as swf on comms exist then Nurse should exist too.
"complicated power" lmfao.......

No offense but I could tell immediately you were going to comment something like this just because of your profile pic.
Nurse shouldn't be completely removed from this game as long as swf still exists and I am standing by that.
Good thing i'm a solo player. I don't care about your SWF outcry when that imba exists
-
I sincerely hope that's the case, she doesn't belong in this game.

Killers in here crying for more nerfs.. LOOOOOOOOOOOL

A reminder that survivors deleted their own thread listing their 'nerfs' out of embarassment when it was dwarfed by the killers own list.
Go ahead and start it again here if you're that confident. I'll make another killer one to compare it with, using whatever rules you choose when determining what counts as a 'nerf'.
Cry me a river, killer nerfs were NOTHING in comparison to what's been happening for over a year now to survivors. Daily reminder NURSE STILL EXISTS!
-
They don't want you telling them how incredibly easy this game is for killers (and only getting easier with more survivor nerfs, map "balance" etc) They just want to continue camping, making survivors upset and salty, then coming here to stroke their ego.
-
Remember the DS outcry? Remember the mettle outrcy? (which BTW were answered QUICKLY) Remember one entire year of map changes, pallet changes, just flat out DIRECT nerfs to survivors. And still to this day you clowns defend nurse LOOOOL.. this community ..
-
After back from 3 months of not playing and just now noticing they gutted this perk, I ran with it all night never ONCE got it to activate even after hook saves. Complete joke.
-
With all the nerfs to survivor that's just the state of the game. And more are on the way with the map "rebalancing"
-
Divsersion, it's saved my ass quite a few times, although doesn't work as well in high ranks.
-

I see. If the Survivor is last alive, that means they have done the same thing as a Killer that gets a 4K with NOED, in your opinion. They have totally FAILED at their primary objective. You want to give them an instant win button by giving them a free key. A Killer can do NOTHING about a key. You can stop NOED from proc'ing, unless you run Franklin's, you can't stop the key. Gates do need to be slightly farther apart, but it is a 50/50 chance. You either find the hatch or you don't. Even if you miss the hatch, you get ANOTHER chance to escape via the doors. Not sure how many chances you want.
You're predictable. The only thing they've done is swung what you complained about for years over to your side of the field, now it's no longer fun or fair for the survivor. You as a killer don't have to rely on 3 morons to not meme/ play the game properly.
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/607597#Comment_607597
Oh? What would you disagree with?
Because killers use it just because they can, they don't want to learn why they are losing matches so hard, instead they rely on an imbalanced perk to swing the match back in their favor. It's just a gross perk overall.
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/607589#Comment_607589
Let's say I believe that NOED isn't balanced because it rewards killers for failing at their objective to stop gens from popping. Would you agree?
Not entirely. Are you going to say we failed at getting gens done?
-

I am starting to think you are one of the people that think Haddonfield is a fair and balanced map. New Badham has been universally PRAISED for its good map design.
Nah, sounds to me like you just don't play survivor. Like about most of this forum, sadly.

@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/607576#Comment_607576
Do you think NOED is balanced?
Depends on the map and the killer, but in general I think it's a pretty scummy perk to use and it's for sure not 100% balanced.
