I haven't touched plague in a long time. I have more fun playing legion. I think shes boring to play as and against. And to me shes very weak. She has no map pressure and no looping pressure unless you have the corrupted vomit. Even then shes eh. Theres only two ways a match goes. Survivors either never heal or if they do you have to walk to the pool and find a survivor and hopefully your vomit lasts long enough to get the hit. Playing her is torture to me. But thats just my opinion.
-
It always had a certain amount of toxicity but thats every game. But it is getting boring. With the lack of events and just band aid "events" with crowns and cakes. The last event I remember was either the pustules event or the lantern event.
-
Dead hard does need a nerf. If its being brought in most matches then there's a reason why. Not sure how it would get reworked though. Maybe remove the distance and invincibility frames and give it the endurance status for 1 second. The survivor glows white indicating the endurance effect for 1 second. Idk just an idea.
-
I forgot about twisted metal this would be a lit skin tbh. Id buy it.
-
I mean we got the trickster so why is an attractive female a problem?
-
The devs could easily make it part ot the agreement and anyone caught would receive a ban. Of course this would only affect people who stream or upload but finding a permanent solution would be hard.

SWF isn't an issue. People just blame SWF whenever they get matched against better players, because current matchmaking system sucks at put equally skilled players together.
Swf is definitely an issue that needs to be either balanced or add comms to solos. But yeah I do agree people will blame swf. But can you blame them? Swf is strong and killers think every sweat squad is a swf.

You are giving yourself longer queue by constantly dodging lobbies and requeuing.
Blaming your losses on SWF just shows that you aren't as good as you think you are.
Doesn't mean swf is balanced though.

Hate to break it to you...
But yep that is the case. The majority of survivors are not good, just because they are in red rank does not mean they are good. There could be a killer with 5000 hours going up against red rank survivors with 50 hours. And even more for killer. Since red rank killers tend to play more than red ranks survivors. Which is why this is a good thing because I'm pretty sure statistically most red rank killers win a good amount. So the numbers may be inflated for the high ranks. With this as they wrote on their update, could show a clearer picture.
That still won't justify killers having to sweat every game. Theres also other variables that go into match making. In other games yes match making makes perfect sense but dbd? No all you will have is 1 good killer vs 4 good survivors and we both know how that usually ends. You might think thats a good thing atm. But keep playing killer and see how you like it. If you make it to high mmr then maybe come back and see if your mind changes in a month. For solo survivor this is perfect so no complaints here.

You have a high SBMMR because you stomped a bunch of bad players... you will now be matched with survivors that are at your skill level. You are not meant to 4K every single game. The game wouldn't be balanced. If you're not skilled enough to take on those survivors, then your rating will go down. I see no problems. You are now gonna win some and lose some.
I guess alot of killer must be stomping bad survivors if most killers are having the same complaints. Killers are not meant to 4k every game but they should also not feel like they don't have a chance at winning. If you go against 4 good survivors most chances are you will lose. Simple as that. And people already know how unbalanced the game is. We all should lose some and win some yes but not to the point where killer is miserable.
-
Oni has the weakest early game. You're just an M1 killer with nothing to help you. Getting the first hit is extremely important. As long as you loop the oni they won't be able to do much. But his slugging potential is strong unless the survivors have UB or sont go down next to team mates.

Every single test has been brilliant on killer for me.
Let's walk your experience back a little... Getting matched up with players of equal skill, meant that you couldn't beat them. This means that all of your previous 'good' matches, had been against opponents of lesser skill. You had been inflicted on relative 'newbies', making their games unbearable, and likewise, invalidating all of your successes, because they weren't wins against equals, they were against lessers. This would have unfairly inflated your MMR... which led to you being matched against opponents of... higher skill, that you couldn't beat.
Give it a couple weeks to adjust and you'll be exactly where you belong, while giving all players fair matches.
I don't think every single killer who has experienced the same thing has been going against "survivors of lesser skill". I have gone through similar experience with the new match making. While survivor solo que was better it also hurt the killers experience if every survivor knows how to loop perfectly. I consider myself a good survivor know the basics and a good looper. Maybe you were set up in a low rank MMR and thats why you got good experiences but thats just an opinion.
-
Survivor you got very decent to good teammates. And most of the time we got out. However killer was alittle different the better you do the more SWFs and expert survivors you'll go against. So killer will get miserable. If it does ill just stick to survivor.
-
If you're absolutely destroying a killer and assuming the perk was NOED then you should have had plenty of time to do totems.
-
Thats why I bring ruin and undying on my builds. Survivors get punished for not doing totems and I get rewarded for pushing survivors off gens. Taking off 1 perk to put a totem counter is too much to ask though.
-
Considering how bad gen times are im not surprised. Makes games more relaxing for killers.
-
Play no gen regression at high mmr and see the difference yourself.

This thread gave me 10IQ.
Better stop clowning around

Killers should be the yellow mori as base kit. Green and red moris should be too but add a requirement. Maybe 6 hooks and the survivor has to be on final hook.
-
It can be if the killer just keeps slugging even then you can still get hooked if the hook is close enough. But I would suggest maybe flip-flop and power struggle and just chill under pallets.
-
I dont think they'll do that for a while. Imo they're tok scare to add strong killers. That's why every killer has alot of counters these days
-
I dont care what someone calls it. I will continue using. It's a great build that rewards the killer for keeping survivors off gens and forces them to look for totems. The best part is it works with almost every killer.
-
Of course now another round of threads about this build because some guy thinks it's too strong. Can killers not have strong builds? Which btw can be countered by destroying totems. So no I don't think it should change it should stay the same.
-
I agree give survivors more BP and I like the idea of maybe 2% healing bonus to teammates if they do totems. But totems should be hard to find or very well hidden and a totem counter would be too strong as it gives too much information to one side.
-
Sluzzy I'm glad you're back

When it has such a big impact yes it does
Not really. Its like killers have to work much more harder than survivor. I wouldn't mind a noed rework once survivors second chance perks get rework as well.
-
@Shroompy said:
Still rewards the killer for essentially doing badly
For how strong of an effect it has, it needs to be earned, not given
Not every perk needs to be some type of reward.

I dont consider reworked maps as new maps becuase they've been there since day 1. But bruh a trickster map would've been great even a French village map for the twins would've been cool.
-
Bubba most of the time is a guaranteed camp. Billy not such much. He can still down but billy would have to hit a direct hit but bubba has an aoe. Best way to counter is faking the save and making him over heat.
-
If they add bots they should definitely do it when a killer or survivor dcs. I hate playing either side and one of my teammates dcs or the killer dcs mid game because they got a bad map.

That's actually not true for Nurse. Nurse and Blight's powers are actually similar.
- They both press M2 to use a mobility ability
- They both go into fatigue if they fail to continue onto the next rush/blink or if they're on their final rush/blink
- They both suffer a unique fatigue upon a successful hit whilst using their power.
Kinda baffling really that Nurse's M2 doesn't count as a special attack to be honest.
Oh yeah have nurse chase survivors to M1 them. What?
-
Becuase survivors always go for the next killer/perk that they find "boring"(aka i can't adapt to this perk or killer :( pls nerf) right now blight and some wraith threads are going around becuase they're the flavor of the month. Also the perk tinkerer is too. Tinkerer a niche perk. Wont be surprised if they nerf it soon with a cooldown. I'm just waiting for the iron will and dead hard nerf and watch the threads go up in flames but won't ever happen. Surivvors are their main income.
-
Don't ever give hatch to survivors. They don't deserve a free win. Just like survivors wont give you a free hook.
-
Won't happen unfortunately. Swfs have such an inflated ego that I'm surprised they're heads havent popped. But they don't feel bad making the killers feel miserable. Thats why im against giving free hatch against a swf. You as killer should make them feel hopeless run strong builds and dominate the game using tunneling or camping if you can.
-
@Killing_Time said:
Not many. Most just wear the charm because it's dope. It has been used to target players also.
I dont think thats why. People will tunnel and camp anyone these days.
-
Didnt know Satan played dbd
-
That itself wouldn't be too bad. Any other buff would make it too strong for a exhaustion perk.
-
Never group with a team with no cosmetics most of the time they're rank 17s. Pigs, ghostface and clowns almost always have NOED so cleanse the totems!
-
Imagine dying because you couldn't do some little bone things lmao.
-
Yes why are you now getting mad that you have to do totems when you had all game.
-
Dead hard takes 0% skill to use. All its used for is dead harding pallets and windows to get an extra chase. A strong perk with little downsides. But I've heard it might be getting reworked im not sure though.
-
No. You got the kobe thats awesome! But I'm still downing you.
-
Because men don't color their hair as much as girls imo.

They aren't really that strong. You see it a lot because of all the killers that camp and tunnel. These perks get absolutely no use if the killer doesn't tunnel. Even if he does DS is like a 4 second stun... it won't make much of a difference if they are using a very strong killer like Blight, Nurse, Spirit, etc. Those perks only give you a little bit of time to get away. They don't even stop tunneling.
Bt and Ds won't ever stop tunneling. And ypu are only mentioning blight nurse and spirit are 3 killers out of the rest of killers. How strong is ds to other killers? They aren't there to force the killer to stop tunneling. Those perks are used to waste the killers time. The reason they're strong is because of the amount of time it can waste and the way they can be used (taking a BT hit to protect the rescuer or not picking up becuase of DS). I don't tunnel or camp but survivors who have BT will run in in front of me. They know that if they rescue the survivor that if the killer hits the unhooked survivor with BT they get a free escape. A survivor perk should never ever be stronger than the killer itself. That would be bad balance.(kinda like iron will countering stridor)

Nobody ever said "Don't use them." There are tons of reasons to use totem perks. I just said you shouldn't ever feel forced to use them.
Just like killers are forced to use gen regression?

I keep seeing DS and BT mentioned a lot in these types of discussions and I don't really get it. Those perks will only activate if you tunnel and they aren't nearly as stong as Blight using those perks, especially when using certain addons as well.
Huh? Ds and bt not strong? Then why are they in most builds? Also you know people body block the rescuing survivor right? So you are forced to hit them.
-
Blast mine be slapping. Once killers have it they will never kick a gen again giving them gen ptsd. And for killer probably devour hope if it gets to 5 stacks.

I always chuckle when an obvious totem ends up getting my team killed.
"Ah, this totem is next to a hook / in the killer shack next to the basement."
*runs by totem without cleansing*
*NOED Procs*
"NOED SUX"
It feels like that right? lol. And my team mates never find it or if they do im already in the sky getting eaten by the entity. But not until the baby meg runs like a mad lad to the hook and dies.

I mean he's right he bought the game. Unless you feed him, provide him shelter, you pay the bills, you bought him the game and system then he can choose how to play. And also why bother the streamer? Your friend could've just gotten over it but instead you went and antagonize him.
