you haven't even played him yet...
I haven't played the new one, but I did with the ptb version. And looking at multiple people streaming him, you can see that the lunge's turning is almost the same, even the people playing have commented on it. Like I said, I don't want to judge him and complain because I haven't played the new version, I don't know the feel for his new speeds and hitboxes and such, but if the lunge doesn't have any big change then I don't need to play to understand that specific factor
-
@AChaoticKiller said:
they did change it and even increased its speed, did you even read the patch notes? he is still locked at a turn rate but the speed and turning during rush was buffed so that indirectly buffs his attack turn rate.
Yes I have, but it still appears to be incredibly limited in how far around you can turn, not how fast you lunge
-
I think most of the time when someone dc's at the beginning it's because they either didn't properly load into the match or they don't want the map. Also to answer your question "I leave if there's more than one Nea or Jane (etc)." How does the killer know?" The killer can see all the survivors in the lobby.

Although I can see the comparison between Oni and Myers I cannot imagine that Wraith is anywhere near comparable to Ghostface, aside from the fact at the most basic level they are both stealth killers, this is about where I would draw the line of similarities as ended. I would not use Wraith as a close comparison to Ghostface, from a personal standpoint, even though I'm a ghostface main and I don't like playing Wraith at all.
In fact now that I think about it I really don't like playing any of the other Stealth killers though I've always loved Stealth games and the stealth playstyle in general. This is because Ghostface is just so much better than every other stealth killer, every one of them has a weakness that GF does not suffer from
Wraith's aggressive potential is hindered in that he cannot immediately attack, he must first uncloak in order to strike. -> Ghostface's Night Shroud does not hinder any aggressive potential and he can immediately strike at any given moment
The Pig is hindered by limited visibility, and speed, the animation to enter her stealth through crouching takes time (however brief) for her to enter and exit, she is always forced to crouch low to the ground and therefore cannot see well in the already limited first person camera view hardly being able to look beyond tall grass and her crouch is 90% movement speed making it a hindrance to use traversing the map or in chases -> Ghostface can immediately enter night shroud at the click of a button, remains undetectable while standing preserving his visibility and LOS, and moves at the speed of a normal / faster 115% killer, while also being able to crouch immediately at will without an animation
Myers in EW1 is limited in that he has a slow start and is less than effective in normal chases that can be debilitating later on if you can't get to EW2, being forced to move at 105% movement speed and having a slightly decreased lunge, he also can never return to this state after he has entered Tier 2 -> Again, Ghostface has no decrease lunge and can swing as far as any other killer and moves at the same 115% as any other killer meaning even if he doesn't surprise anyone he can still immediately give chase with little trouble, and can enter stealth whenever he pleases throughout the match
In this way I'd really hardly compare Ghostface to any of the other Stealth killers beyond surface level tactics and points like they all benefit from Nurse's Calling or they can't be revealed by aura reading perks (except for Myers after entering Tier 2) like OoO. He plays so much more fluidly than the rest of them and there's no contest to why he's the best stealth killer of the current 4 that exist.
No need to write an essay. Wraith isn't really that similar to gf you're right, but it's closer than the rest of the ones he probably has. You'll get a better understanding for stealth playing wraith than you would nurse or trapper
-
I love it and I hate it at the same time
-
If you really like playing Oni then you'll probably like Myers more. If you really like playing another proper stealth killer (Wraith might be the only one you have, so him), then you'll probably like Ghostface more. If you enjoy both, I don't know. I can't tell you who is more fun because that is personal opinion, but Ghostface is definitely a stronger killer.
-
There was an error rendering this rich post?
-
Perk is the same, hasn't changed. Was there another reason for him to check that locker if you're confident that you were in it before he hooked and stayed in for at least 4 seconds? Was there a worked-on gen nearby, a hex totem, another survivor, scratch marks, etc.
-
Ok? What exactly did you expect? The exact same queue times despite having a fraction of the playerbase to be matched with?
-
Ghostface. He just sounds disappointed when he get's stunned.
-
No. It is completely stupid to think that either of these should be bannable offences
-
I think lf has one of the easier powers to pick up, but not the easiest because you still need to know how to play loops efficiently with him unlike Freddy or something.
-
At default it's 8 metres
-
Yeah, you never seem to get the perks you want. Quite literally took me a year before bond appeared in anyone's bloodweb
-
I don't really see the point of it to be honest. When would feathering it help you?
-
This might be close to being fast.
The blight runs at 230% speed default.
Addons:
Compound 33 - Adds 0.06 bonus speed per chain rush. 4th chain rush will have added a total of 55.2% extra speed or 285.2% total speed during final rush.
Compound 21 - Adds 0.04 bonus speed per chain rush. 4th chain rush will have added a total of 36.8% extra speed for 266.8% total speed during final rush.
I'm pretty sure they stack because it doesn't specifically say they don't, so I think that would be a total speed of 322% speed during final rush token if both addons are equipped.
Perks:
PWYF: With 3 stacks that's an extra 15%. So 337%
NOED: 4% bonus speed. 341%
Devour hope: 5% haste after hooking survivor. 346% (I think that's what haste does?)
Bloodlust 3 is 15% extra speed (I think), so 361%
So I think under these conditions, blight is one of the fastest at 361% running speed. Nurse probably moves faster with extended range addons, but I can't find anything about how much faster that is. Someone mentioned above that a survivor could move faster, which might also be true.
I probably messed up something here. The addons % seem weird and wrong, but that's what the wiki says.

Is this based on how much you like them and their playstyle or is this genuinely how powerful you think they are?

I only had to search for their username and that’s it. I don’t remember having to look for 4 digit codes.
It gives you a list of every player with that username over all platforms. If multiple people have that name you'll probably use that code to make sure you get the right player
-
That's literally his ability. He hits you through walls.

what was/is the entity blocker?
5 Best: Toolbox redesign, infite/breakable wall fix, Leatherface rework, bugs that already got fixed, 4th/lunar new year and other random events.
5 Worst: Midwich, Ebony Mori (and its secret status), Leatherface rework not accounting for the basement escape path situation, Lisa skin, and the many present bugs like the hill and the aura problems earlier in the month.
Entity blocker is the black spikes that block off a window after you've vaulted it 3 times
-
All players have a (4 digit?) code that can be used to send friend requests. If you go to survivor, then click on the invite friend button, you're code will be at the top of the friend list. From memory, in the friend search you put - 'friendsusername#code'. Example: 'Boaris00#G3L2' which will send them a friend request.
-
No, currently there is no way to do that
-
Ok
-
Why not?

He the most unfun killer for me to play against. With that being said, do I think he is too OP? No.
I do think it sucks that 99% of the Onis I play against play the same way, down, slug, go for IF detected survivor. Rinse-Repeat.
I mean to be fair, that's really the only way to efficiently play oni
-
You will only hear her default phasing if she is phasing near you while you are outside her husks terror radius. Prayer beads (I'm pretty sure) makes it so the sound is universal like wraiths 'bone clapper' addon, meaning every survivor on the map will hear her phase even if she isn't nearby as long as they aren't in her husks terror radius.
-
I'd buff wraith or trapper. Both have lots of unnecessary counters to at base, not particularly strong powers. Plus they're both extremely addon reliant which is never good.
-
-
How exactly do you know they're from switch?
-
They can't do gens if they're clicking a flashlight
-
If matchmaking decides to put me with a person who's played like 3 matches, yeah definitely.
-
Another person whinging about crossplay. Awesome
-
Why does most of this thread actually exist? Do people seriously care that much about a cosmetic? Just curious
-
Are you talking about the 'Auto-Repair Reaper' outfit? That's the closest one I can find to an engineer. If so, you can buy that from the shop.
-
Dropped when a survivor dc'ed.
-
Ace because I think he's only one who's injured sounds actually sound like he's injured, he's not moaning or yelling. His normal breathing sounds also sound kinda normal, he doesn't sound like he has severe asthma or something.
-
-
Use a locker? Use a pallet? Use a window? Do gens, he has essentially no map pressure. Don't stay in deadzones, if you say deadzones are unavoidable, what difference would it be if it was a huntress, billy, gf, etc.
Unless you mess up or are stuck in an open area, there is so much you can do to beat him. Even if you were really bad in chases against him, he still has absolutely nothing outside of those chases. No delay abilities, no movement abilities.
You also mention you find spirit very easy to go against, yet she has *probably* the 3rd best chase potential in the entire game? How can you complain about one killers chase potential being too strong, but then say another who is much stronger in every category is easy to go against?

i can track survivor with iron pretty easily with no stridor do you choose to get good or rely on a perk
How well you personally perform in terms of tracking is completely irrelevant to the strength of a perk. That's like saying 'I can down people pretty well with nurse, therefore all chase perks are ass and a waste of a perk slot on her'
-
@IMilkNobody said:

if you have a good game sense already you wont need stridor it will mess you up not being able to tell how far or close a survivor is and it is a waste of a perk slot
The same way as if you don't run it, you'll get used to it and will learn how close they are with stridor. It will 100% remove her biggest counter every single game. It will be significantly harder, almost impossible to lose a spirit with stridor. It is much easier to find survivors with it equipped. You will be much stronger in a chase with it. Etc
-
@IMilkNobody said:
stridor on spirit is ass
Incorrect

Currently, no. Apparently what used to happen a few years ago was the devs kept a record of how many props everyone received and they planned to show who had the most props during their live streams. But then a bunch of farming killers got props by survivor players so the top prop players were all known farmers. It got abused like most things added so after a while they dropped the idea and I don't think props have done anything since.

So apparently there is some kind of bug with the old dc system where players could exploit it to ban other players. Until that gets fixed they won't re-enable dc penalty.
I don't think he's talking about re-enabling the dc penalty, I think he just means remove the leave match button.
-
Pretty sure he's hated because it isn't fun holding m1. No one enjoys sitting there holding a button all game, he hits and runs which means most of the time you aren't being chased, you're just sitting there holding a button
-
'gg', 'wp', 'ez', 'reported piece of #########', 'enjoy the ban', '#########', etc

Later in the year they are going to be adding cross progression between the PC, Switch and soon to exist Google Stadia versions of the game. Although they are trying, they do not have access to have cross progression with xbox or ps4.

What do you mean by 'won't let you play?' Were you banned? Do you get an error in the loading screen? Game won't even open?

You know that there is a thing like invisible textures? That are preventing you from getting somewhere you are not supposed to go.
You mean a hitbox? You do know what a texture is, right?
Hitbox: 'A hitbox is an invisible shape commonly used in video games for real-time collision detection'
Texture: 'Textures are the graphical skins laid atop 3D models so they appear to have surface detail'
Examples of objects with missing textures: https://i.redd.it/uyud5thynqj11.jpg https://i.redd.it/hs69z7w1v8r31.jpg
Examples of hitboxes: https://i.redd.it/5oylgs12onq31.jpg https://i.redd.it/dh61d19oqnq31.jpg
Hitbox is the physical collision of the object, it's what prevents you from running through walls and such - in this case you are getting stuck in it. Textures are the skins of the objects. The dirt skin, the wood, the tree bark, etc.

Cause you stuck in it. You stuck in the texture.
You're not getting stuck in a texture though, you're getting stuck in the rock. The texture is the graphical skin layered on top of the rock, it's not a 3d model that you get can get stuck in.
