    One of his unique perks.

Fat fingered: You may be clumsy at times, fingers ending up where they're not supposed to. Skill check success zones are 15%/20%/25% smaller. Each consecutive great skill check grants a token which raises your action speed by 2% up to 5 tokens.

Can't think of anything else right now. xD

Why would anyone run this? Unless you’re just memeing lol

  • I think Blood Warden should only show your aura after opening the door. While opening the door it is too op IMO.
  • I say give him a speed boost just to stop the stereotypes.

They should've nerfed Madness function instead of giving a perk that basically destroys him.

    How does it destroy him?
Because he no longer can have eZfind mode on?

Calm Spirit doesn’t destroy his power.
If Doctors didn’t rely on the scream so much to find a survivor then they wouldn’t have a problem.

@Twix in regards to ur sabo comment. Do u play on console or pc?

I play on pc, I encounter a sabo God every 10 matches or so, and whenever I have a sabo daily which is like every 5 days or so, I go full out sabo before killer is able to hook. It doesn't always work, but when it does I get praised from both sides (killer and survivor) because it's not very easy to do nowadays, but still doable.

I would never do it during an event though, because I want to get points just as much as the next guy and I don't practice in hypocrisy.

That's awesome. I'm ps4 and I rarely see it. And when I do it seems like their doing daily ritual instead of trying to be helpful with it. I've tried a couple time to Sabo a (regular) hook before the killer makes it but I'm usually Wacked before I can finish it
Yeah it can be pretty difficult, but definitely doable!

You get tons of killers camping and focusing the special generators and you get tons of survivors who will stop at nothing to prevent the killer from getting a special hook either by Sabo or blocking.

Can we please just have an event where each hook or each gen counts towards a goal? When your hook is halfway across the map or you can't get a special gen because of a camping killer it ruins the fun of this game.

Some people are hell bent on attempting to ruin other peoples fun.

As killer I do the same as always. I try to stop survivors from doing the gens. Not my fault that they only concentrate on the special gens, then I have to concentrate on them too and kick them.

Survivors sabotaging the special hooks however is just plain toxic

It works both ways. If you're gonna be guarding a gen and kicking it to not let survivors get it, why should survivors let you get special hooks? The hypocrisy in your statement is quite real.

The difference is that trying to protect gens which almost has been completeted is somethign a killer would do without the event too.
But sabotaging is somethign that is never done by survivors because its not viable anymore, they just do it now to take away the special hooks

Says who? I've seen my fair amount of hook saves by sabo Gods. Your statement is full of hypocrisy.
    Point. Blank. Period.

Fair amount? Can only talk about my own experience but it probably happens in 1/30 games that someone sabotages a single hook. During the event every 2nd game hooks are destroyed left and right

    But hypcrisy, yeah.....

Lol. It doesn't matter how many times it happens, it's a game mechanic just like kicking generators. Once again, hypocrisy.

[Spoiler Alert: Here comes the usual "entitled" comment]
I'm not entitled to a special gen just like you're not entitled to a special hook, so if you kick someone's gen and guard it with your life so that it isn't completed then you can expect to get sabo'd and it's not toxicity in that case.

Its really hard to be nice after all the ######### you experienced in 2 and 1/2 years as killer at least.
Survivor is more chill and it does not bother me as much that they get their hooks.

I've been playing since Jan 2016, so I know my fair share of toxicity, but I don't go down to their level. I play to enjoy the game and unlock sh*t.

More crying lol, not surprised tbh. I’m mostly a survivor main (I do play killer tho) and I was happy with the Exhaustion changes along with the perk reworks, but now you talk about Survivors getting some kind of buff and in comes the crying once more.

I´m not crying. I just asked a reasonable question. Since the review bombers have damaged the reviews of DbD and got themselfs buffs for it. I´m curious what´s the next step for them. Or if it´s just a "on the fly" thing to upvote or down vote a game depending on the daily mood.

You’re not asking any question, you’re simply trying to spread more toxicty by poking at said “review bombers” to initiate what I’ll assume is some sort of arguement. Grow up would you?

Balance works both ways (even though I don’t agree with some of the planned changes), you guys got pallet nerfs, exhaustion nerf, specific killer buffs, amazing perk reworks(for both sides), incoming DS nerf, etc.

DS should have been reworked right after release. Not into the OP perk it is right now. How did we get pallet nerfs? U talking about them removing one pallet or two on some maps? Stfu with that ######### will you?

How? They stopped pallet vacuum from working and now people tend to get hit through a pallet...
    That’s a pretty good nerf.

Once again, you disguise it as questions, but it’s just a poor attempt at starting an argument with said “review bombers.” I’ll repeat myself - grow up.

I´d say we are arguing (on a poor level, because no one is really trying to argument, but hey, it´s better than nothing).

Since you clicked and commented, is it save to assume you are one of the review bombers?

Uh, I literally said I agreed with the exhaustion changes and perk reworks?...

It’s either 1) too late for you, in which case you should go sleep or 2) you need glasses.

There’s a difference between arguing and suggesting that you should grow up and not attempt to rile up “review bombers.” See, I’m trying to do good and stop spreading toxicity as an ambassador for both Survivor/Killer play, but you on the other hand just want to start arguments.

Ex: I agree with some killer buff and survivors nerfs, just like I agree with some survivor buffs and killer nerfs. 50/50

I just love a good argument. I even have several comments on my profile from people that were surprised how nice i could argue. I don´t insult or attack anyone on a personal level. (maybe you noticed how i got attacked).

I didn´t mention the exhausion changes, since i didn´t found that relevant to the current discussion.

I´m really just trying to get into the mind of those review bombers to find out how they tick. What´s their motivation (obviously reverting the changes, but maybe there´s more), and what their plans are. Since i don´t use the steam forum anymore and i don´t want to ask every review bomber personally, i opened this thread.

I play both survivor and killer on rank 1. I find playing survivor incredible relaxing, where i can play and drink at the same time. Have a good laugh if i play in SWF, and enjoy myself. At the same time, killer is really stressful. I feel under constant pressure, because gens pop so fast while i just can´t reach that survivor who is supposed to be slower than me.
For me it feels like the roles are reversed. Killers job should be relaxing and survivor should be under constant pressure. Or at least that´s the impression i got from every horror movie ever.

Well, the review bombs started, because of the exhaustion nerf, so while it might not be relevant to the “questions” you’re asking, it is relevant to the reason as to why DbD got review bombed.

Anyway, it’s choice 1 for me, so I’ll leave you to your argument/discussion with those review bombers you want to talk to, good luck and I hope no one gets upset.

Well, see, have you guys stopped to think which survivors are the ones complaining?

I’m pretty certain it’s soloq survivors and not swf, why?

Right, because SWF never harassed Killers for losing or anything.

I mean, there’s always the exception, but it doesn’t take away from the fact that ultimately all nerfs hurt soloq survivors, not swf.

And we’re talking about review bombing, not harassing killers for losing a game or for whatever reason they do it, some people are just a***oles.
  • Well, see, have you guys stopped to think which survivors are the ones complaining?

I’m pretty certain it’s soloq survivors and not swf, why?

Because swf survivors don’t need any crutch perks(even though they still use them) since they can rely on a lot more of information and team coordination, but soloq survivors can’t.

If any of you play soloq survivor you’d know that more times than not your team is full of re***** that get downed within 2 seconds of being found, they rush hooks, they farm you, sandbag you, and what not. It’s not justified as to why they’d review bomb DbD for moving in the right direction, but it’s pretty understandable.

And no dcig just because of tunneling is not justified

If survivors do a gen to 99% while the killer has tinkerer. His terror radius stays at 0. So survivors are shooting themselves into the foot by using this tactic.

I don't use tinkerer, because I don't want to be accused of abusing a bug, when survivors cause it.

It triggers when you get a gen to 85% of completion, not when you leave a gen at 99%, so basically as soon as the first gen gets to 85% even if it pops the killer will have 0 terror radius for the rest of the match.

Well I see it as the crotus penn glitch. Or the DH glitch that enabled survivors to reach unreachable spots or even leave the match while the gates are closed.
Survivors loved to abuse that ######### and even defended it. Now killers got a jumpscare glitch and suddenly it's not fun anymore.

    Funny how that goes.
    **Some survivors**

I never abused of any of those glitches and there’s probably more people out there that didn’t either, so I’m in my right to complain about someone abusing a bug that doesn’t let me know if the killer is near me or not.

oh, yeah.  entirely justified.  tunneling may be a necessity for killers (for those that wish to rank up) but seriously...leave me out of it.  i play to enjoy myself, not be someone's trolling toy.

I got tunneled to death by a Myers a few matches ago, he had tombstone and I was dying light obsession, so I don't mind getting tunneled, but if you're tunneling me while abusing of Tinkerer 2 then there's no fun in playing that match.

I don't think that abusing any bug is fine. It's wasn't okay when survivors climbed on that rock in Autohaven Wreckers and it's not okay now. I'm not going to say that you're wrong for disconnecting when someone is abusing a bug like that, but I don't think it was the best way to react. By disconnecting, you put the other survivors in an even worse place. It's not your obligation to do this, but I think it would've been better to stick around and help the others out the best you can. At the very least, try to get a few more bloodpoints instead of throwing them all away. It's not fun, but might as well get the most you can out of the match. I can understand why you disconnected, but it wasn't the best thing to do, in my opinion.

Appreciate the criticism, thanks. It's pretty annoying to deal with a tunneling Hillbilly in swamp with tinkerer 2 and ruin up, so I just decided to dc and move on to a different match, I guess I did f*** over my teammates.

  • Before I say anything else... I agree with the direction the game is heading. Survivors need a few more nerfs, SC, DS, SB, and gen rushing. However, please do not forget that many times survivors get put with idiots that dc, give you away, sandbag you, get downed within 3 seconds of a chase, and many many more issues.

When it comes to SWF survivors need heavy nerfs, when it comes to soloq... not so much.
Devs need to be careful about how much they nerf survivors.

    EX:
Just today I managed to lose the killer and while being sneaky and putting some distance between him and me I stumble with a Feng. I run SC, but since letting someone else heal you is faster and you can be nice and let them get a few points I decided to let the Feng heal me... Worse thing I could've done, she misses a skill-check gets me found and killed. :D

Which shows you were looking for salt and not an actual gg.

As you can see, toxicity is from both sides, not just survivors!
  • It wasn’t a “gg” because you oblitarated them. Gg is when both sides have a fun match (no matter the outcome) a 4.8k match doesn’t seem very fun to me.

Hook vacuum is a thing. You can use it to interrupt DS (not that it matters, because DS is getting changed) and you can use it hook slightly faster - I’ve had games where I get to 99.9% struggle bar and because of hook vacuum I can’t escape. I’ve also had games were I block the hook and the killer can still hook the survivor through hook vacuum.
Love it when a survivor starts complaining about getting locked in an animation with no way to counter it. Hhhhmmmmmmmm
Luckily for you flashlight saves have been nerfed a lot. You barely have any time to get one. So... you shouldn’t be complaining.

Also, why do you assume I’m a survivor? I actually play both equally, and I like to defend both when I feel like there’s some issue.
  • All I see from this thread is salty killers that love buffs, but when a small change (hook vacuum) is considered they go mad.

The fact that you had to put him into a category(survivor) makes me see this as another "Survivor vs Killer" thread. Everyone can be toxic, it's not survivor or killer, it's the individual person(s).

Stop the Survivor vs Killer threads.

P.S. Get over it, all of the internet is like this. It's not justified, but just laugh it off and move on.

He...was a survivor...did you even read the post?

He was a survivor, in a swf group, it was obvious swf because they were all named after condiments.

    I...dont understand your comment.

Also, id like to add that people have been saying get over it, but ive stated earlier in the thread that im not the least bit bothered by it...so...maybe read the thread before commenting?
Lol. “And yall say killers are toxic” why is this even in the post then? It’s something some guy you killed said, what does killers and whether they are or not toxic have to do with it?

Once again, another Survivor vs Killer bait thread.
    Its...not though

Nobody has ever said that too me

I only said that because ive seen a rise in posts about toxic killers both here and on the steam forums, but ive never seen a killer have a brain aneurysm and go on a racist tirade over getting no kills.

Tbh, you seem really triggered by my post,

And on top of that , with all the assumptions that youve made , and , consequently, been wrong about, you dont really seem to know what youre talking about so, gg.
How am I triggered? What assumptions?

Ignore whatever it was that he said, no one cares. Report him if it hurt you that much. (P.S nothing will happen)

  • Just take a hit when a survivor is on the ground and go back to rushing gens :)

You are not entitled to a vacuum.

Drop the pallet earlier and stop exploiting the game by looping.

If it was an exploit it would be removed.

    You must be new here.

Why isn't it removed then? It's not an exploit. Get over it.

it will (probaply). as i know the devs, they'll get rid of it in early 2035.

All they are going to do is have "view blockers" so killers can have some mind-game. They won't remove it (and tbh I'm hoping they do and go towards a stealth mode for survivors), but as it is right now pallet looping is not an exploit.

Are you still crying about not being able to hide behind a pallet? Lol get good and learn how to play the game scrub. Lol seems you can't survive without a pallet
What? Are you dumb? I literally said that I hope pallet looping gets removed cause I much rather play stealthily.

    @KillingInstinct

probably not. Judging how you talk about the game from the survivor and killer perspective. I can be nice and say rank 15 killer is your highest killer rank ever.

Lol okay, whatever makes u feel better

Yea for real. I'll admit I'm not great at killer but I've been able to get my myers to rank 13 every season. May not stay there for the rest of the season but I feel like that's good considering I main survivor

    oof...

    yes exactly oof.

So I had killed 3 survivors in like 3 minutes and they had finished 2 gens in 3 minutes cause that's how ez that is. Even if they missed a lot of skill checks...

So this last survivor gets me to Evil Within Tier 3 twice and I still couldn't get him since he used infinites and pallet loops and then he got the hatch because Killers always lose the hatch standoff. He was so intimidated by Michael Myers and started healing on the hatch since he knows that I can't do ######### from there on.

PRETTY GOOD JOB SO FAR. Go die.

If you cant get him within 10 minutes its your fault. I Need 2 min at Max. Git gut Baby myers ä.

I'm not a baby myers xD. More like rank 1 killer and survivor player with a P3 lv50 all perk MM. U guys are not killer mains. Not one of you. Clearly. Cause you guys apparently have no idea how bad the pallet looping is and not all survivors are such morons who just jump the pallet at every mindgame xD. Not sure how often u guys die when trying to pallet loop but every normal survivor doesn't instantly jump at high ranks

ROFL sure bro, whatever you say.
