Oh so solo Q being bad is my fault, got it. I'm sure the 25 hour megs I get on my team randomly are the good ones, clearly me at 5500+ hours is not as good as a 25 hour meg.
Where did i say that? Dude chill...

..yes, actually. You do. You got called biased twice. Up-front without any subtext. Insulting? Probably.
You either backhandedly called him bad or 'politely' implied he was biased/a liar, which is something you seem to agree with.
That last response to you was rude as hell though.
But even if you're returning fire, you're still flinging waste, dude.
Maybe its a language thing. English isn´t my primary language. If my comments imply insults, then its not intentionally and i apologize.

I just said that for me to get teams who are good is rare, and you say right after "it's not rare". That's why I asked.
t's not about losing MMR. It's about not getting bad teams. I want to have games where even in solo I have fun because I'm playing on a team, not playing with a 1v1v1v1v1v1
I constantly get good teams. Sometimes i get bad teams. People that suicide/dc on the first hook. Afk players or simply bad players.
Thats why i said at the very beginning, that this is a skill issue, which additional information can´t solve. People that are bad and don´t want to improve, will stay bad and blame everyone but themselves.

Do you even know how to read? At this point I think you're just trolling
Oh i know how to read. You´re asking me to proof my point by streaming every single match i have. So i can´t hide bad matches, where i lose mmr on purpose (for whatever reason).
-
@Marigoria said:

Actually quite the opposite, the matches I remember the most are the ones where I get to have a really good team who takes hits, works together, does things ya know, like a team... which is rare in solo q.
Screenshots prove nothing. I want to see people like you who say solo Q is fine to STREAM the game so we can see all the matches without anything being picked and hidden.
Then... whats the issue? Because its not rare.

Comes with a risk of sounding like a backhanded insult if you don't elaborate to begin with.
Really? I´m the one in this thread who is sounding like he´s insulting? Maybe read the answers i got from this thread again. Just in case.

I´m honestly curious, how the kill rates look during this event. When survivors show how fast they really can repair the gens.

I can't deny that you're very candid with your wording, but I don't know why you don't think people know what implication is.
Because it sounds nicer than calling someone a lyer or biased? (general statement, not calling anyone biased or a lyer)
I can only judge from the matches i have myself and the matches i occasionally see from some streamers. If he constantly has bad matches, then it might be because:
A) elo hell - a change of build or playing SWF might help
B) not as good as he thinks - watching streamers can improve the skill
C) only perceives the bad matches and not the good ones - taking screenshots of every match and comparing them at the end helps
D) exagerates - the grass on the other side is always greener
E) plays only at times where the mmr might have difficulties in finding the correct teammates/killers - playing at different times can help

How's your MMR then? Since you claim yours is very different than mine, I hope you know how much yours is?
My MMR is:
What's yours? Let's compare!
On a more serious note. People tend to only remember bad things and not the good ones. That's one of the reasons why I make screenshots after every match.

People totally sleep on how good the basic info perks Bond and Kindred are, especially if you couple them with Aces Open Handed. Even when playing with a group via phones there is a MASSIVE difference between knowing "I am in that jungle gym and I think the killer is on my toes", and seeing EXACTLY were everyone is. Heck, the constant info on the killer of Kindred+Open Handed is so unbelievable strong and has such a massive radius that its sometimes tempting the keep survivors hanging, just so that you know exactly what the killer is doing. With kindred I have looped poor killers far away from the hook around structures for way too long, and won every "mind game", because I could just see them through the walls.
But people who regularly play on coms handwave this perks as "training wheel perks" or "babies first perk lul" and skip them in favor or good, old DH, IW, BT and Unbreakable/CoH/the odd one personal touch perk.
Yes! I love using non meta builds and surprise killers with them. Everyone expects a DS hit, but no one expects to get hit by a pallet, when no one else is around. Thx to flip flop and power struggle I've escaped more often than using DS.
Bond tells me, if that heartbeat belongs to a approaching killer or if he's chasing someone else. I can see if someone is repairing nearby or if they are afk in the corner of the map. It's great!

Every time someone says "I play solo queue and it's totally fine as is." it's almost a 100% guarantee that it's someone who's never played solo in their entire lives lmao. Or a killer main in disguise, twirling their mustache as they try to convince us that solo queue is in a good place.
I could send you a couple of screenshots, if you want.
Jeez, this is starting to sound like a echo chamber, where every opinion that varies is instantly regarded as a killer main in disguise.

You have to agree? Yeah, sure, another killer main "agrees" that solo q is fine. Who would have thought..?
EVERYTIME I read "solo q is fine" it's ALWAYS a killer-main soloQ "god", who "wins" most of his solo q games and all other soloQ players just "can't play".
And just to prove my theory, here are your quotes:
"Oh no.... Killers now have 3 maps that are killer sided. Such unfair balance lol"
"Current dead hard allows them to press a single button and completely erase any outplay I did, and fix any mistake they made by getting them to the next area of safety. "
"Clicking and teabagging are toxic playstyles as well, both have been in the game since it started. Camping does not take advantage of any exploits or bugs, but is rather a playstyle around the mechanics of the game."
"Slugging the 3rd person to deny hatch for the 4th person is a strategy. If we're to remove a valid strategy for killer as OP suggested, then I'd like to see a strategy removed from survivors as well"
Another Killer-main biased opinion detected and successfully ignored.
Out of curiosity. Does this "you're a killer main, because your opinion varies from mine" actually mean anything else than a boring attempt to invalidate someone else's opinion?

It's not about fixing bad players, it's just simply the lack of information you get from other teammates. Yes there are perks for it, but why waste a perk slot on it when I can run something else much better. Just having something in the HUD like, Meg's on a gen, Dwight's getting chased, Claudette is cleansing or blessing a totem. Just something simple is good enough info you can get from other players.
I use bond very often. It's extremely helpful to see if a teammate is getting chased nearby.
Good players would profit from a general aura reading. However, Killers would require a general compensation buff in return. Because good players gameplay would significantly improve. To the point of SWF levels.
What this change is aimed at, wouldn't improve though: bad players, that don't want to improve.

I myself have very few, if any, issues with solo Q myself and play a good portion survivors, always solo Q, but I can see why some people would complain. In theory the idea doesn't sound too bad: close the gap between solo Q and SWF players, by giving the solo Q peeps the good and sweet information and then buff killer accordingly. My honestly fear though that they will somehow forget/mess up the last part, until we get the next humongous killer exodos wave.
That's my fear. Certain changes would affect the gameplay so profoundly, that killers would require a massive overhaul to compensate. Which is highly unlikely.

You're not wrong. If I can have Kindred equipped be on hook and reach second stage while the killer is nowhere near me and I can see one survivor on a gen, one in basement opening a chest and one just walking around aminlesses, why do people think these changes will magically fix these types of players?
Exactly!
The tutorial, training mode against bots, information about what the killers powers and status effects actually do. Would help new players improve. But simply giving players more information during the match won't do much. Because they'll simply ignore it.

Doesn't bother me either. I just hate clicky clicky because it is actually irritating to listen to. Your story is just weird because it is from a survivors pov when normally it is a killer issue. Nobody would find a tbagging ghostface annoying, especially since doing that is buying your team time on gens so its a good thing that they do it.
The one thing that I find irritating: flashlight macro users. This damn noise is annoying af.

I wouldn't waste so much bloodpoints on a single killer, just to unlock BBQ. Especially because we don't know how the upcoming change will look like.

It looks like survivors are on extremely low MMR and killer is on rather mid-high MMR.
I've seen survivors dc the very second they hear the nurses screech.
It's getting ridiculous. Of course the nurse will stomp the other 3 survivors at 5 gens. Especially when the others suicide on their first hook.
-
Unpopular opinion incoming:
Solo queue is fine. You can't fix bad players that don't want to improve and suicide/dc whenever they face a minor challenge.

@Pulsar said:

Not all Killers.
Nurse and Blight can deal with SWF just fine.
Ghostface, Myers, Trapper, ect ect? They'd need major buffs.
But nurse obviously gets nerfed for the very same reason SWF doesn´t get touched. After that, the threads about Blight only matches will arise. You are aware of that, are you?
-
Deja Vu: you now can see the 3 closest gens permanently.
-
@Pulsar said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3005771#Comment_3005771
You can't nerf SWF.
You can buff everyone else to be on their level though.
That would also mean, that the devs need to buff all killers in return. Like heavily, to compensate the now even wider gap.
-
@Pulsar said:
Anyone who can't recognize that Nurse is bonkers busted OP has no right to complain about SWF. Both are extremes and should be adjusted to better fit the current state of the game.
Yeah, but is she really comparable to SWF?
Devs themselves said, that the stats show that SWF have a 15% higher escape rate. The stats we have access to, show that nurse has the lowest kill rate of all killers.
If nurse is op, because a handful of their players plays on tournament level. Then what about the SWF tournament squads? Because the 15% higher escape rate, doesn't come from them. It comes from the players that want a chill match with their friends.
Shouldn't SWF then be nerfed and nerfed hard?

There's nothing toxic about killing survivors and nothing toxic about doing gens, it's literally each side's objectives.
It's very nice of you to give them a chance, but even if you hadn't it still wouldn't have been toxic of you to end the game, just like survivors making the game last so everyone gets rewards and BP would be very nice, but they also don't have to and aren't toxic if they end the game fast.
And to fix the problem of not finding an invitation, personally if I don't have it by the time all the gens pop I down a survivor and drop them in front of the exit gates, so the survivors know i'll let them go and I go look for it while they heal the slugged survivor. So far I've only had one killer game where I didn't get the invitation, and that's bc I didn't have a flan so I couldn't see its aura. Obviously this only works if you're willing to let the remaining survivors escape, but it's been working well for me :)
I´ve given up on trying to carry survivors to the exit. Some dc and others thank me with a ggez.
Some people just want to watch the world burn. Especially during an event.

Someone standing on an unreachable spot is an exploit that you can report and has nothing to do with them playing survivors. Also it's pretty hypocritical to complain about survivors finishing the gens too quickly for you to find the pedestal, right after bringing up survivors complaining you killed them as a toxic behavior.
They're literally just playing the game, just like you are when you're killing them. They need to finish the gens unlock their reward, so it's not like they're going out of their way to stop you from fiding the pedestal. Not to mention you have the ability to stop survivors from doing gens, you can even run an entire build dedicated to it if it's that much of an issue.
Also I never said only killers are toxic, i literally mentionned survivors being toxic in my comment and to reiterate: doesn't matter how toxic they are, they can't stop you from playing the game. Yes it's still toxic and unfun, but they still can't stop you from playing and getting the rewards, which is what I'm talking about.
Whats hypocritical about getting false accusations of being toxic (remember, i could have finished the game at 4 gens), while i gave them more than a fair chance.

Well I mean, I feel like if you're tunneling, you only need to focus on 1 survivors hook states, where as in 2 hook case, you gotta keep track of all 4
Which is kinda hard. Especially with survivors that have the same outfit.
-
@Sluzzy said:
This is a casual warning to not play survivor during the event. Killers are sweating profusely during event even when 5 event offerings are using. The first two matches I played were against Onis and they would hook, pretend to leave, and then come right back and tunneled people off the hook. Also slugged everyone.
Killers are not punished for this. It is very easy to do this and they still get 30K+ while survivors all get less than 10K.
Dear BHVR, balance your game and make it a level playing field so both survivors and killers have equal chances of winning and getting equal amount of bloodpoints. One person shouldn't have the ability to deny bloodpoints to 4 others.
Btw. We have a scorching heat wave outside. So its fair to assume, that everyone is sweating profusely.

I've let teams go when I've had six hooks before because my goldfish memory has already forgotten who is on a death hook and who is fine to hook and I'm so worried I'll death hook someone that I just let my own points burn to make sure I don't accidentally kill someone 😅

Trueeee, life of a 2 hook only killer, lol
Ironic how killers have a different hook counter to "prevent tunneling" when tunneling killers actually remember who they hooked. Thus creating a situation where 2 hook killers accidentally kill.

I mean not to sound like a jackass but ultimately survivors - as entitled or toxic they may be - don't have the ability to prevent you from getting event rewards, or literally prevent you from playing the game, or forcing you to farm, or wasting your flan by ensuring you don't get BPs. Killers do, and a lot of them seem to enjoy ruining survivors' experience over winning the game.
I'm not complaining about killers playing normally, but killers making it their goal to stop survivors from escaping with the invitation.
(Also these survivors are probably getting awful game after awful game so I wouldn't take their salt too personnally)
Thats funny that you say that. I had a survivor keeping the game hostage for a couple of minutes, by standing on a unreachable spot. I´ve also had several matches, where i couldn´t find the pedestal for the event skin. Because the match was so quickly over.
So... you´re wrong. Both sides have their toxic people. That try to prevent the other side from having fun.
-
Like... really...

May i suggest you play killer then?
Be the difference! Be the one killer who kills them with kindness!

-
First match: went for 12 hooks. Ignoring a survivor who was at death hook at 4 gens and only started to kill at 1 gen left. Engame chat: "you toxic piece of ****!"
Second match: was gen rushed so hard. I got more hooks in the last 60 seconds than during the rest of the match. Endgame chat also wasn´t happy about this one.
-
Was called toxic for playing a 12 hook match, when i could have gotten my first kill at 4 gens. Only started to kill at 1 gen.
So uhh yeah...
-
@Nazzzak said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3000082#Comment_3000082
Both extremes just feed into each other. Survivors gen rush because they're worried they'll get camped or tunnelled and won't get bp value from their cakes, while killers feel inclined to camp or tunnel because the gens are flying so fast and they're worried they won't get any bp value from their cakes.
The double bp event was painful a couple weeks ago with every survivor having Prove Thyself and every killer decked out with aura reading perks. This event will probably be the same.
yep, it will be painful.
