My guess would be, that the number of survivors using DS will gradually decrease. But rise back again, once they get Rancor moried, when they don´t have DS equipped.

Not everyone is going to use Rancor.
Only killers that hate DS.
I'm sure there are some killers out there, that haven't had the pleasure to be backstabbed. -

1 million bloodpoints, 3 completed dailies and 14k shards.
I'm waiting for Rancor. Survivors have shared a lot of love through DS. Not it's time to return some of that love. -

Giving up a perk slot for that perk isn't worth the bloodpoints. BBQ is way better plus killers get more bloodpoints than survivors.
WGLF is superior to BBQ because it´s way easier to get WGLF stacks than BBQ stacks. If i have a good match i leave with 50.000+ BPs as survivor. Without any offerings.
You’re high as a kite if you think WGLF stacks are easier to get. It literally relies on teammates failure, while you being there and NOT the other 2; AND almost never doing gens. It’s a recipe for disaster. Meanwhile BBQ gives you stacks for just not being complete #########
Let's see, unhooking someone and getting hit next to the hook = 2 stacks.
That's clearly harder than hooking every survivor once./S
I have to agree that BBQ stacks are much easier to get than WGLF stacks tho.
Not for me. I usually get 2 stacks on a camping killer unhook. That´s really easy money. I rush in with BT.
I get the 4 stacks of BBQ way more frequently especially if i played well in that game than the WGLF (and if they are camping i am probably going to go to the hook)
I'll admit that with WGLF you can get them twice as fast though.
I´m used to drop everything the moment a survivor gets downed. Unless i use my scavenger build (Ace in the Hole + Plunderers) i equip Empathy and try to position myself close to the survivor, before he gets downed.
I like My gennies personally. Especially if there are 4 survivors (including me) il let them save them if possible.
I just go in for points. Unhooking nets way more points than the gen.
Gen makes people survive and "win". Saving means usually death (or a pip or both)
Oh i also do gens. But my priority are saves. I often equip We´ll make it.
I love we'll make it too.
I don’t. People just run away!
Easy solution! Unhook in front of the killer. He´ll down them for trying to run away, then you can heal them.
/S -
The multiplyer is not the problem.
Having 3 or 4 survivors doing each one a gen seperatly IS the problem. -

If you look at the mods on here they don't post with any of that bias at all. They don't go into a thread and say well this thread is survivor biased lets bash them etc type of thing.
I think you misunderstand my words.
As far as I know, mods uphold the forum rules and act as arbiters during discussions (mostly making sure conversations stay civil).
I'm sure Tsulan is perfectly capable of that. He's been very thoughtful with his responses on the forums.
That said, mods definitely have their opinions about the game. I see them making comments regarding balance all the time.
It just so happens that I disagree with them on a number of issues.
I'd like to see someone who represents a different outlook on the game.
That's not to say Tsulan would shove his opinions down everyone's throat. His main job would be to act as a mod.
I definitely hope they keep game perspective out of the equation. Things will go down hill if they don't.
Mods shouldn't be chosen because of outspoken opinions. They should be chosen for how they carry themselves and how they interact with other users.
Hopefully Tsulan is past the days of getting upset by downvotes because being a moderator will subject him to criticism that is much worse, assuming he is a candidate.
I have no doubt that Tsulan can keep his personal views to himself. But I definitely think you make a good point. If we're aiming for true impartiality, then mods should keep their opinions out it. I've been looking at the For Honor forums and the mods there are quite different. Even when the issue of balance comes up, they say something along the lines of "As far as the dev team is concerned, this hero is an a good spot. But we'll closely monitor the situation".
Perhaps the mods should be more like that?
I think a mod should be able to express his personal opinion like @Peanits does.
We are all humans with our own opinions and not corporate robots which can´t talk for themselfes.

I mean the "play with the devs" made it obvious that they need some high rank players in their team.
To balance this game.
This game should be competitive. I watched tydetimes tournament and i really enjoyed that. It´s a shame that our streamers organize those events better than the actual devs.
We should have several game modes like casual, ranked and hardcore. Dedicated servers (if that´s possible) and regular tournaments or competitions. Which would both attract new players. -

Both are taking their own game hostage. The killer is as guilty as the survivor.
Survivor: just go repair a gen.
Killer: just hit and let him escape.

OP is right. The killer should have a way to at least initiate a vote kick. Where 2 survivors have to click yes in order to kick that particular survivor.
Why? Because more often than not, I dodge lobbies with abysmal pings. Because someone from the other end of the world thinks it's a good idea to click ready on a 500+ ping.
Being able to kick that survivor would give the other players a faster match. Since they don't have to rematch.
Simply kicking would be abused. You are all right with that. But initiating a vote kick would give a fair chance and let survivors know why. Instead of simply dodging. -

Speed of the slower killers to match the speed of the viable killer to balance the game. -

Monitor & Abuse. It's a doctor's perk. Which reduces your terror radius (the heartbeat) when you are outside a chase.
-
Try sleeping as many survivors as possible. If you equip M&A you can do a hit and run strategy. Sleep them, hit them and break the chase. Once they think they lost you and start healing, go in for the down.

Please ignore that troll post above.
If you disconnect to often, you'll get temporary banned.
Regarding your problem. Have you tried doing nothing for the first 30 seconds of a match? Don't do gens, don't run, don't vault over obstacles. Just hide. That way you won't be the first one to get caught. -
Nerf NOED to make it fair? It can already be removed before it gets active. Being restricted to open gates would render it useless. The only way to make this work would be to convert it into a normal perk (no totem) and to buff Blood Warden by activating it when the killer presses a button (E).

If they want people to make safe saves with WGLF then it should give a flat 1000BP bonus post trial for every safe unhook. Then people will try to make those unhooks safe so they get more BP AND it encourages them to keep saving after they get 4 tokens.I mean that could work too but like still I really think that having more ways to get tokens would be beneficial.
Nah, it's too complicated. If you want token for WGLF you make saves or take hits. Simple.
How is it complicated. It doesn't make you have to do new stuff. You literally would just get tokens from doing usual actions. I don't understand your mindset.
Everyone is telling you the same thing. Tokens should only be awarded for risking something by unhooking or protecting someone else. Not for doing your normal objective.
Maybe the devs pick up your idea and give survivors another perk that gives bonus tokens for completing gens. -
For example, if you are streaming as killer and you get me as survivor in the lobby. You say ######### that guy, I don't like him. And you tunnel me and let everyone else go. Than that would be bannable, BUT only if it happens for several matches.Hellbilly said:@Tsulan said:

It was worse a few weeks ago when the matchmaking wasn't working and I'd get matched to the same people repeatedly. But whenever I see this troll I take out a mori and try to kill him. Because this guy will go out of his way to ruin the game for everyone. He'll DC when I down him, he'll stay still until crows circle, he'll sandbag other Survivors, and all that.
So could this guy take a couple of screen shots and cry to devs lying "He's bullying me! Please ban!" And I get punished?
The wording is so incredibly vague that it's troubling. Define "targeting one person" and define "ruin someone's game" @not_Queen
What is, according to the devs, "ruining someone's game?" Is it mori'ing them every time? Is it camping them? Is it slugging them? How is this determined? I really hope to god you don't use screen shots at least in this situation.
That's the point. If the killer focuses (tunnels) only on that survivor and ignores everyone else for several matches, than that's reportable. But, if said killer tunnels everyone, than that's not reportable.
There's a fine lining and I guess they evaluate it from case to case. Since it's very hard to proof that a killer targets only 1 survivor for several matches.
So in other words you don't know. Just say that. Because tunneling isn't bannable. They've confirmed that. So, if I get matched to so and so 3 times in a row, and I tunnel to make sure he dies (because he's an #########) now suddenly I'm banned because I quote unquote """""""bullied"'""""""" him? Come on.
Because you are streaming, you are giving out proof of your intentions and the devs can easily review it.
Unless the offender or the victim is a streamer, it's very hard to proof that.

Hex perks are not powerful enough to justify them being hex perks.

You do realize that Hag is one of the top 2-3 killers at rank 1-5 right? There's also been a lot of really good Trappers, Myer's and huntresses at rank 1-5. There's even been some Wraiths and Freddy's.
Before the reset most of my matches at 1-2 were actually Hag's, Wraiths, Freddy's, with Billy/Nurse rounding it off. With Hags being the biggest played killer since her rework she's really good.

Often see people with 'We're Gonna Live Forever' in my matches and the majority seems to farm hooks, without borrowed time (could be that I just happen to be extremely unlucky, but I doubt that). So yes, give people who want to use the perk more options to gain tokens other than unhooking which results in unsafe unhooks at many times. This is one of the reasons I suggested this but not the only one. It's already hard as it is to get tokens without having others get in trouble... or yourself for that matter. Compared to the killer the tokens here are harder to obtain. And even with what I suggested it's not guaranteed you'll always have full tokens worth of extra points but you'll start to average a higher percentage.
That´s the whole point. Survivors should get an incentive to go for unhooks (preferably save ones) instead of only doing gens. Risk something and get a reward. Killer tokens are way harder to obtain btw. Because the killer has to hook every survivor to get 4 tokens. Survivors just need to get hit near a injured survivor to get a token. You don´t even have to unhook. Make a risky save, get hit after unhooking = 2 tokens. That´s supposed to be harder than hunting down 4 different survivors?
The huge difference being the fact that the killer perk does something else apart from giving bloodpoints?
And no it's not hard to hook every survivor. Sure it might be hard to kill all of them but to hook each of them at least once? Yeah I doubt it. Tell me when it's the last time u didn't hook all survivors at least once?
And survivors already have an incentive to go for hooks. Bloodpoints and tokens nonetheless. Still I don't agree with ur opinion. It's all yours but I'm not going to change my pov just because u might want me to do so.That question is easy to answer: almost every match. Why because survivor dc the moment they get downed. Killer doesn´t get tokens from that survivor.
Also BBQ gives the killer an incentive to leave the hook. Would you prefer it, if the devs take that away? And if they dc how is that my fault. Why don't you suggest the devs to do something about it? It's not an excuse for not having a change to we're gonna live forever.
Even if it does it doesn't mean they will. There's a difference. Not to mention that if the killer won't leave he still can get tokens out of the other survivors... the survivors can't do the same.Killer can get 1 token maximum per survivor. Survivors can get max tokens from 1 other survivor.
Yeah uhm no they can't. At most they can get 2 from 1 other survivor.
Not really, taking a hit near a hook for a survivor or taking a hit near a injured survivor in general (healing etc.) grants you a token, so you could technically get all 4 tokens just from 1 survivor.
Technically but not from just unhooking. And still don't think it would be a bad idea to have more option on how to get tokens. Since the person above was complaining about the killer one. They could also have other options... like the survivor one after a chase of like 1.5k if u hit down the survivor u get a token or smth
You get tokens for unhooking, blocking (getting hit while the killer carries someone), protecting, hitting the killer with a pallet when he carries someone and even flashlight saving.
Isn´t that enough? -

People would get tokens for doing the objective instead of saving people. Why bother getting that survivor off the hook, if i can just stay at my objective and finish it? Also, when do you draw the line? Do i have to do the whole gen alone to get a token? Just finish it? Do x amount? If i do the gens with others does everyone get tokens or only 1? What about the gate?

That would be to complicated. Right now its nice and simple. Let´s keep it that way.

I lost 6k Iridescent shards a little over 2 weeks ago and I didn't get any messages saying there was an issue either. I logged out and then later on came back and was missing the 6k. I'm hoping they fix the issue for everyone.Did you contact support?

I dont think they would make it based on the gameplay

Maybe more of the concept of the game, that people get taken by a dark entity and have to survive a set of brutal killers. And ofc, repairing generators isnt the whole movie concept, but more a survive the trials to be free again. Just you know, the idea and story of the game, and not so much how the game is played.
So just like the intro that has nothing to do with how the game actually plays.
Ok then... -

I luckily didn´t have any issues. That´s why i was surprised that there is a save game bug. -
There is a save game bug?
I played normally and haven´t noticed anything.
