Oh waaaait, so because 1 killer endgame perk gets a buff, 3 survivor endgame perks need a buff, while all the other killer endgame perks stay trash. Makes totally sense! /not

Did you read the post?
Yes, and you?

Why only survivor endgame perks? Most endgame perks need a buff. Survivors and killers.

No I am very much ok with the new Undying, I don't care about camping and tunneling at all. What I'm saying is that NOED goes against the principles on why BHVR nerfed previous perks. If they were consistent in their perk changing reasonings, then NOED should be changed. It's based on the survivor's skill in getting every single totem, it has nothing to do with the killer at all. They just passively get rewarded for the survivors being unable to complete an unreasonable objective.
I also don't believe that perks should exist just to counter other perks. It's really bad design in my opinion especially when it comes to RNG on what the killer would actually bring. Oh, I brought 3 totem perks to counter hex perks but the killer brought no hex perks. Now 3 of my perks are useless.
You are not forced to take totem detection perks. But they help, when survivors struggle with finding totems.
You are correct on the nerfing principles, though. Ruin and Undying both were nerfed because of the lack of survivor skill to adapt.
NOED probably doesn't get the same treatment, because it has a special place in the heart of some designers, that constantly use it.

What? You mean finding every single dull totem on a giant map with no communication with random survivors that can barely play the game just for the off chance that they run one perk that's so destructive you have to do every single dull totem? It's just not reasonable counter play. Most of my games are so close that there would be no way that we could do every totem. There are many games where Ruin and Undying is enough trouble for us as is. There's a reason they nerfed Undying, because it was unreasonable to have to do up to 4 totems just to get rid of a single perk. The same goes for NOED.
NOED doesn't reward bad killers. It punishes lazy survivors that only do gens. There are 5 totems, 4 survivors and 3 totem detection perks. So absolute no reason to complain about it.
Oh and Undying rewarded killers for not tunneling and camping. Since otherwise they wouldn't get any benefit out of Undying Ruin.
Now that Undying is trash, camping and tunneling is on the rise again. Congratulations, survivors played themselves when they wanted that nerf so hard.
But sure, keep asking about the NOED nerf. I'm sure you gonna love what comes when it really gets nerfed as survivors want.

Yesterday: killer was Wraith on Lerys with 4 cakes.
The moment he hit someone, 2 survivors disconnected. Then they proceeded to leave toxic messages on the killers profile, who was kindly enough to let us go.

They needed a perk that gives free insta downs without telling you that it's active to get 1 kill... How are they good?
They failed to do a side objective that takes a couple of seconds. How are they good?
-
What you describe is just survivor mains that switched to killer because they wrongly believe that killers earn more points.
-
Imagine getting killed by NOED and thinking that the killer is bad.
-
Killer queues are just longer because they have a higher chance of getting cakes in the blood web. Since survivors can get event items instead of cakes.
The amount of teammates that disconnect because of ridiculous reasons also doesn't help.
-
Grimms fairytales originally were a LOT more cruel and darker than anything Disney released.
-
Don´t take any gen slowdown perks.
This event shows how fast gens get done and that "not everyone plays like this" is a false statement.

It is not. I am using it on Blight with Ruin. And it is perfect perk. But i would not use for other killers, i think it only works well for Blight.
On outdoor maps, hex totems usually spawn next to gens, on hills or out in the open. So 30 to 60 seconds after the match started, Undying is gone.
There are better alternatives like Thrill, that gives a warning and slows the cleansing down or Haunted Grounds that exposes the survivors. But Undying is just trash.
Your Ruin will live longer with Thrill than with Undying when you play Blight.
-
Trash perk. Not worth the perk slot since its nerf.

Killers: "I don't want to farm."
Me:
I haven't managed to convince survivors that I want to farm. They just push through gens when I don't engage.

Ok, but why was this so funny. Not sure if it was intended to be, but seeing that Cheryl on the ground on the second pic after walking to the hook from the first pic made me giggle.
From solo que experiences, this is so true :)
All while Ace just stood there like a statue and pointed.

Ever since the clown rework one problem has stood above the rest. His pink bow tie looked completely stupid and out of place.
But luckily this game breaking issue has been fixed! I can now finally use his P3 set again without it looking dumb
Well now that the buffed him, i´d expect a hard nerf soon. As all things need to be balanced 😋

@Clevite said:
It works because when we play survivor we care about the other players' experience. So, we know we will lose, but gotta at least try to get them off the hook.
Maybe they have DS, IDK.
I just don't understand why killers want to play like this.
It can't be as fun and thrilling as engaging in chases and strategies on gen control.
They disconnected both at the same time. I doubt they cared for the fun of the rest of the team.

That means they've actually managed to finish gens.
HAHA you have no idea what you're giving away.
Oh i do know in fact. Because the other survivors lasted like 3 seconds in a chase.
-
Don´t tentacle. There´s a video of Otz comparing the powers of Pizzahead and Nemesus by only using their powers. Its quite revealing on whats better.
-
I trade them for survivors that leave you on the first hook next to the powered gate.
Deal?
-
@Northener1907 said:
Camping is working only when survivors rewarding killer. Seem like your teammates did this.
Exactly! If the other 2 survivors would have sticked to gens, instead of standing next to the hook and pointing at the killer, we could have still made it out.
But i guess pointing makes the killer feel guilty or something.

So so true. I was actually stunned using her. I'd be close and it'd miss. I'm just like well damn.
The amount of times you hit a bush, corner, invisible wall, etc. with her is just impressive.
But keep playing her. She´s amazing once you mastered her.

Congrats ! And impressive if it's from using huntress. I've started using her for the first time recently and man it's hard. It makes you realize that her hit boxes arnt nearly as big as people like to think
People like to exagerate on a lot of things.
EDIT: Almost forgot!
Congrats OP!

Wish granted. Camping killers have a harder time piping.
You are welcome.

Tunneling out of the hand, and the game mechanics should be changed to punish tunneling killers more
Sure, once tunneling survivors are addressed.

Meanwhile i get constantly teammates that DC on the first hit.

I still find solo Q way more annoying than rank 1 killer. Killer all you have to worry about is a stacked 3-4 man really.
Survivor you gotta worry about matchmaking, incompetent teammates, killers running overpowered builds, terrible map RNG, etc etc.
Of course I’ve been playing rank 1 killer for years now so I don’t find the situations it puts you in stressful anymore.
I find solo queue red ranks more relaxing than red rank killer.
Sure, sometimes you get some annoying teammates that couldn´t save you, even if their live depended on it. But more often than not, it´s a walk in the park.
Only problem right now is the missing DC penalty. I constantly get teammates that DC on the first hit.

Firstly trickster would 100% kill you to make his music.
Secondly I’d go out with because she’s the best female survivor. I wouldn’t go out with any killer because they are all.. well killers
Go out with who?
-
I like strong independant woman and i like nature. So Huntress it is.
-
Red ranks are not for everyone. Most people like to take breaks, because its so stressful. No shame in that.
Once the new matchmaking goes live, we´ll get rank rewards and the game should be overall more enjoyable for most people.
-
Congratulations!
Now enjoy playing relaxed, getting 2 or 3 hooks and being told how bad you are. While you depip to less stressful ranks.
-
You are right on one hand. On the other, sometimes its the only decision to unhook in front of the killer.
Why? Because you might be about to enter the struggle/death phase and the other survivors are at the other end of the map and wouldn´t reach you in time. Its the minor evil to unhook you, even without BT. Because you have at least a slight chance, that the killer doesn´t down you.
-
The word you are searching for is called: Latency.
-
I haven't seen a single farming killer since the event started and I've played at least 10 matches per day.
Not even the ones that use the bloodpoint charm (there was a thread where they said this shows that the killer wants to farm).

Targeting a recently unhooked survivor, choosing to ignore easier targets to ruin someone’s game.
So how is this any different from survivors going for a gen that is at 90% and regressing instead of going for another 0% gen?

Bold of you to assume they will fix it that fast
My prediction is that they will re-enable it with the mid chapter update without fixing the game crashes on console just to screw over console players
I hope not. Consolte players (especially switch users) have already suffered enough. They can´t keep the game in this horrible state for to long.

There is nothing called tunneling gens. You are bad my guy.
Define tunneling please.
-
I would like a autofill option up until rank 15. Since there is no entity yet, we wouldn´t lose anything and it would speed things up by a lot.
-
The DC penalty will stay away until the devs fixed the instability issues.
So maybe Christmas.
-
This won´t solve the issue. As the matchmaking just loves to give out rainbow matches. Where the rank difference can be like rank 1s getting matched with rank 17.
-
Killers tunnel survivors just as much as survivors tunnel gens.
Neither side feels bad for it.
-
Welcome to purple ranks. This is absolutely normal. No problem with the matchmaking.

Nah, Killer should not have it harder. Survivors should have it easier to obtain crowns, not the other way.
I agree.
Survivors should just find the crown and get rewarded with it. No escape criteria or anything.
The whole event skins/rewards should be a combined effort and unlock for everyone.

That’s fine, just stop every solo survivor from getting to play a decent game…
You know, i´m a red rank solo survivor. Most of the time i have decent matches. Its only when people disconnect or suicide, because they don´t like the killer/map or whatever. That ruins the game for me.
But those happend like once or twice in ten matches before the RE chapter released. Now its way more. Is that because killers are OP? Sure not!
People are just salty and try to blame their own shortcomings on other players.
-
People play killer more during events, because event offerings have the same classification as event items in the bloodweb. So instead of getting 2 cakes in a bloodweb, they get a flashlight and a medkit.
That needs to change. Survivors should have the same chances to get bonus bloodpoints as killers.
-
@Pukenplag said:
Please, stop making threads like this. Complain about unfun things for killer. This way, you won't get the negative feedback from everyone.
This forum consists of perhaps 90% killer mains, 8% survivor mains and the rest being 50/50 mains. You will get hate for complaining about survivor issues.
You´re wrong. Just because people don´t agree with you, doesn´t mean that this forum is killer mains only.
