And you'll always see most killers running pop. You can blame BHVR for there being a limited number of perks that are actuall ly good.
But I don't have a problem with pop or any good perks. I just get annoyed playing against blight with the same build

Bruh. i'm a scary blight too. i despise ruin / undying so hard on em.
I consider it smol pp for killers honestly,
I totally get that. I personally don't use ruin or any hex perks for that matter cuz I like having all my perks and not have to deal with chance. I don't mind it as a whole tho.

Cause if so. that's sad...
I'd love to go against you. I wouldn't care if I lose some change up would be nice

Maybe because they work well with his design???
I don't get why you're complaining about Blight's running a good build.
It honestly just gets old. Perk diversity makes matches interesting and I bore myself to death when every blight runs the same build and ik what it is before I even get on a gen. I'm all for good killers using good perks but he's the only one who really uses the same old 3 perks
-
I've decided after reading all the posts to at least give it a shot. While I may regret it in the end, I will at least enjoy trying. I just have to expect not to win😅. Maybe I might prove ppl wrong with enough practice like when ppl say Twins is only good 4 camping. Wish me luck!
-
I like this! There are some thing that I disagree with but overall I like these changes. Small things like pouncing back into Charlotte can go a long way. While I like the sleep walk mechanic, I feel like it would take away some of the skill needed of knowing where is a good place to be dormat and might make them too good. Great list!

I hardly ever just walk around when I run Sprint Burst. I use it to get to a gen faster right at the beginning of the match or I use it to run away from the beginning survivor grouping, so I can find a generator away from other survivors. By just a little bit of time of working a gen, Sprint Burst is back and ready to get away from a killer.
Dead Hard does not allow you to get to a gen faster or break up the beginning survivor grouping. Not using it at the beginning of the match is one of the most ineffective things you can ever do. The power of getting to another gen right away at the beginning of the match cannot be underestimated.
This. If you walk the whole match you're saving your sprint burst for nothing. Using it to get to gens faster and just travel faster is the best way to use it. And you can also 99 it if ur able too but walking wastes so much time

3 second fatigue and remove his useless addons in favor of bringing back his speed add ons. Those were fun to use
-
While I'm not an "indoor map lover", I enjoy being on most of them except for lerys. Once people learn the tiles it will be better. In my opinion, as long as there are many ways to go up and down (like on midwich) it'll be fine. Saying it's poorly designed just because you don't like it isn't exactly fair
-
Honestly I rather use second wind than resurgence. Works well in my heal build (Second wind, auto didactic, solidarity, WGLF.) With the auto heal but resurgence and solidarity do have a nice combo
-
I have all but wake up. I got his other 2 perks from the shrine and im not buying a character for 1 perk so I shall hope it comes into the shrine eventually

Killer gets stunned before success kicking? I thought they success kicking then stunned.
No they have to kick the gen again after being stunned
-
Blast mine takes priority but if you want to use repressed alliance because of ruin just get off and on the gen since you need to work on the gen for 3 seconds to activate blast mine
-
From what I heard and read, the change was due to the syringe with nemesis since he could just delete the syringes. Why they just didn't make it not delete syringes is beyond my knowledge

I couldn't care less what the "vast majority" of opinions are on this map, as if anyone's actually even attempted to quantify such a claim. I like it. Other people like it. There are plenty of things in this game that I could also say the "vast majority" of players don't like (camping tunnelling, slugging, certain killers, etc). I guess that means that they need to be eliminated too?
This is such an entitled community. "I hate having to adapt. I don't like this, remove it. This game was made specifically for me and my own preferred characters and playstyle, any map that doesn't accommodate that is bad and something needs to be done about it".
I hate some maps too. I deal with it because that's life. Not everyone likes the same thing, not every map should be tailored to the same types of players. Not everyone wants to play the game the same way. That's the nature of this game. Yet any time there's a change that any individual happens not to like, the sky is falling, the bombs are dropping, the nukes have been launched, oh no, the world is coming to an end. It's tiresome.
Once the new map has been out for a while people will only ever see it once every few days and they can go back to whining about anything and everything else that they deem to be unworthy.
I agree with this. I personally like this map. I haven't played killer on it tho and I see some issues but once people have had the chance to learn the map and know all the ins and outs I'm sure it won't be as bad. Also the opinions of people on the forums don't count as the vast majority of the playerbase because people who enjoy it are playing rather than coming here. There are also so many other platforms other than the forums

The only map I feel did breakable walls nice is midwich. With the secret pathway going upstairs is a nice addition I wish I saw more of. And the other breakable walls are not out of the way where you feel like you are wasting so much time and going out if your way to break the walls

What I'm saying though is that nerfed Ruin would stack onto the buffed regression, not change it to rank 1 Ruin and only have that regression. It would still be what it does on live, ya know? Although I really like that 5% go poof that you're offering, so maybe that could be added onto the nerfed pop numbers and stack with a halved pop to make it do what it does on live but let killers run other things.
I suppose but I'm confused on what u mean with ruin stacking with the buffed regression. You can't kick gens if ruin is up.
-
@Cinderblock said:
Getting a little annoyed with them removing the characters' expressions. Ace's smile, David's smug, Laurie's fear. >:(
This is just the base model. I don't think expressions would show here anyway.

@Lliart said:

But it would still be just as powerful. Basically it would work exactly how it works on live, it's just the numbers would be shuffled about. The gens would regress at the same rate as live with ruin so it would still be pretty powerful enough to warrant the hex, especially since it's automatic regression with Ruin and not without.
It's just level one ruin which is trash. Gens take 80 sec to get done. Current ruin would regress it in 160 sec. You're ruin would make it take 320 sec. Nobody would run pop if the regression was halved. Ruin and Pop don't even need to be nerfed again and ruin regression level of kicking gens is cool but not the most impactful change they could do because the survivor could just tap the gen. If they want to buff base kicking gens, make the progress go down immediately by 5% that way tapping the gen mid chase wouldn't completely negate the whole action of kicking the gen
-
If they halve the regression of ruin, they might as well not make it a hex because it sure would suck and not do anything to warrant being a hex perk

Wait object does that?
Yea that's what's changed. Everytime the killer sees your aura you see theirs so you can rule out what perks they have based on that info. And obsession just gets the constant added 3 sec every 30 sec
-
@humanbeing1704 said:
imma be honest I've only used it once can new object be used mid chase?
If you're obsession u get to see the killers aura every 30 sec for 3 seconds but honestly it's not mainly used for being aggressive. It's mainly an information perk to let you know what the killer is running with the side effect of keeping tabs on him every now and then
-
Well if you want they could always go back to having 3 or 2 people in a game and not kick everyone out. Not like you'd get much anyway since it's 3v1 but points!
-
That death garden meg mask that I so very want them to add for us console players. Ppl just had to download the game to get it when it was free so I think it's fair for console to get a chance

No they’re definitely not as weak as Tricky boy. Twins have horrible gameplay design because they’re intended to play in an unhealthy and boring way. You have to proxy camp with them or you just won’t win.
I'm sorry but this statement is so wrong. Proxy camping with them is the worst way to play them
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:

yeah also the problem i see is , do most twins even camp??? i rarely see a twins and when i do they allmost never camp
I surely don't and from what I've seen people who do camp are fairly new to the Twins because it is just very inefficient and more annoying if anything. But yea most don't
People who say twins r only good for camping don't know how to play twins
-
However, if they nerf his camping they should buff other parts of their kit that can be lackluster to insentivise people to not. Such as maybe reverting the latest nerf. Or maybe being able do something extra with Charlotte
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:

it would def be a nerf, one of the main uses of there power is to be at multiple points at a time in the map, you seem to complain a lot about there camping but hag is worse! there power is used to cut people off, they cant do that if there just walk towards each other and dont even attack other survivors
I agree with this. Getting rid of their ability to be at 2 places at once would probably be the worst. For all I care they could destroy victor after a time limit if he is by the hook for too long. Like maybe double the timer for him to destroy himself. Idk but camping isn't even their best ability so more ways to nerf that and more ways to improve their overall chase ability is a win and my book
-
I think nobody would care if sole survivor got a buff or not because nobody would use it anyway. Maybe it will be with the next perks they decide to change but who knows
-
Overall this is a good tier list. There's some things I disagree with like repressed but everyone already said that.
This isn't directed toward you but can somebody explain why adrenaline is seen as this very good perk. I personally dislike it and I understand the pros and cons but I don't see it as dh and iron will tier. I've just always felt like thay but never heard the why
-
To answer the question, my favorite is anti heal. I like nurses on certain killers and pairing it with sloppy and other perks to just keep everyone injured. Helps alot with legion and Twins from my experience
-
Also part of me would feel bad cuz ik I'd hate getting a match like that where I'm slugged for 3+ minutes while everyone avoids victor.
-
@Mister_Holdout said:

You didn't really explain how it's boring. While slugging with Victor, you have to use your pounce skills, game awareness skills, and prediction skills.
All of those skills are fun to put into practice.
I wasn't trying to say it's an overall boring strategy. I'm just saying it's boring to me. All you do is injure people and then use victor for the rest of the match to slug everyone. It's nice using victor but I'd rather just not do that because it leads to shorter games and I find drawn out games to usually be more interesting
-
@Mister_Holdout said:

How?
Chasing survivors with Victor is fun.
He is but 4k slugging everyone when they are injured is just boring to me. Sure sometimes it just happens if they r dumb but I try not to intentionally do it cuz that's just not my playstyle with them
-
@Mister_Holdout said:

Not if you slug everyone with Victor and use Deerstalker to collect your prizes 😉
Yea but my problem with that is that's such a boring way to play them.
-
@Yords said:
Did anyone even play them that much before?
I mained them beforehand (still do now) and I've seen/heard of others that played them. Also before the nerf I noticed people starting to pick them up and try them out.

I played when Rank reset would put you back 10 levels. Honestly it just made the game more unbalanced and the grind even more stupid. It's a poorly designed mechanic to give people false sense of achievement.
I preferred it that way because everyone wasn't in red ranks so you could actually get good teammates. Now half of the red ranks is boosted and makes playing survivor unbearable
-
Omg stop whining. You act like this was on purpose. It's probably just a bug that will get fixed within the next couple days. If they were changing rank again they would've announced it. Also idk why u would have to restart nothing else should of been reset. Just be glad u didn't play when rank reseted like this on the regular
-
I hope this means old rank reset is back! Much better than what it was changed to
-
I personally thing it's a waste of a perk slot
-
They also kinda changed the animation of victor crawling out or something. Idk exactly but they changed it and it feels slower but I'm pretty sure it's not. Either way, I'll just use fingernail like I usually do
