It's an awkward map that greatly inflates the skill gap between players from both sides. Playing against stronger opponent(s) here sucks.
Statistically on a large sample of pub games it's killer-sided.

no i dont bealive. ive allways had it and i joined with pphead.
I'm 100% sure they are not live for at least 1 year. 1 loss always deranked you to R2 during this period, so we are likely talking about different concepts.
Early on (2016-2017 iirc) rank 1 had its own extra pips (probably 3? I'm not sure about their exact number), so by winning matches after reaching r1 you sort of secured yourself from deranking. In order to drop back to r2, you had to lose several pips in a row.
-
@IlliterateGenocide said:
seems so i reached it and there is no extra pip slot like it used to have.
Weren't extra r1 pip slots removed several years ago?

ooh i'm very sorry. :(
I'm only using it because we don't have ingame stats and i'm a stat-lover <3
Dbd onteh stats are generally ok, but they only track achievement-related stuff and on a limited time frame.
There's no better source of statistical data anyways, as far as I'm aware. Nothing to feel sorry for here.

It's bugged

First picture was the match result, second the build (+ plus a pudding offering)
I did not unlock Adept Cenobite.
Platform: PC, Steam

1. A bug, BPs are not relevant to Adept achievements. I've heard about some of the pinhead achievements not working properly right now, this might be it. Upd. - indeed bugged, see bug report here:

2. There's not much to do besides family sharing between steam accounts. If this DLC doesn't work with it, likely nothing else can help.
3. Yes, it was mentioned in earlier SBMM announcements and by mods on this forum.

Regarding Legion:
MS feels ok, FOV does not.
Post vault microfreeze is an ancient bug that was never fixed (it's livesince 3.7.0 iirc).
Delayed killer instinct disappearance from alrdy hit targets is a new bug.
Invisible killer instinct cue is an old up-and-coming bug resurrected by this patch.
I'm not yet aware of range add-ons glitch (cz I didn't use them) or downing in FF bug mentioned above. Both sound new to me.
-
Is it one of those "literally unplayable" moments?
-
I've seen it twice out of 4 games against cenobite.
-
I get it regardless of dc's but only against pinhead.

I have bad news for you then about your MMR... You are not a top survivor.
Just joking :D
This thought crossed my mind actually, but I knew some of the ppl I got matched with back then (mostly from comp). Average hour count also suggested there's no bracket above that, else it would consist of like 100 ppl in total with an average queue time of 3 hrs even for EU.
-
Last test didn't feature that many of top3 killers. Most popular killer I faced was in fact Wraith.

That never worked for me I always eat the DS even having the hook next to me maybe is related with conection to servers?
It depends on how late of a skillcheck you get (whether you hit it before or after hook animation is initiated).
-
I think I remember one of the mods commenting that this interaction (hook animation lock overrunning DS) is a feature rather than a bug.
I'm not saying this mechanic is good (or bad); it's just intended.
-
Bills are never good players.
-
That's not "exploiting" :/
-
@MandyTalk did anything change in terms of active servers in Sea region?
-
The only two codes that still function are mentioned above (PRIDE and NICE), everything else eventually expired.
-
That's an Alert-related bug.
Can confirm it happens to other people as well.
-
Perk-wise the most reasonable options are Feng (Lithe) and Nancy (Inner Strenght), but technically you already got all the S-tier perks, so at this point you can just go for aesthetics.
Also if you want quiet survivors, your friends will be Ace, Kate and Tapp. For natural immersion (and relatively okish perks, SC is still very popular) - Claudette.
-
No, iirc the only cross progression option in existence is for stadia.
-
~12-16m, but it's not a confirmed number by any means. Stridor doesn't increase this range afaik, just the sound volume.
-
Iirc for thia achievement you need to get a theoretical 8k+ score.
In other words, you need to hit the limit and then do a bit more to get the Max scoring event indicator.
Afaik offerings and perk bonuses (as for WGLF and BBQ) are not relevant for this achievement.
-
Wrong section, and yeah it's a hack.
-
Definetely not, it's part of natural game mechanics.
-
Bloodwarden appeared a total of 10 times, most recently in the beginning of July.
Starstruck and Lethal Pursuer haven't made their first appearance yet; they are both relatively new, so it's statistically reasonable.
Keep in mind that shrine history has 0 effect on future shrine perks. Each time they are rolled randomly, and the outcome does not depend on previous results.
-
They are fun.
The AI behind their pathing is rather poorly made, but it makes the whole thing even better; zombies are meant to be stupid.
-
If you didn't play for a long while, you might get such loading phase tips even as an experienced player.
Otherwise it's only applicable to people just starting their dbd journey or meeting a recently released killer for the first few times.
-
5 years, thousands of hours, and I had no idea...
-
OoO is kinda okay, imo.
The only perk with actual negative overall impact (other than no mither) is level 1 autodidact.
-
Got the same stuff since today
-
A lot of these threads are givig me some serious Eastwood vibes
-
I dreamed of tossing fridges at people since I was a kid.
-
Not a bug
-
It is disabled due to one of the generators eventually spawning inside a room that is completely unaccessible for survivors, unless the killer breaks a wall for them.
-
Iirc this realm is currently disabled as a whole due to map generation glitch, so the corresponding map offering is not meant to work to begin with.
-
I'm not gonna go into mechanical basics, ex. in which direction you are meant to run each tile (for that you can see the youtube guide linked above, I usually refer to that one in such threads, too); but rather give a couple of strategic tips that (subjectively) boosted my performance by a significant margin back in the days.
1) track your environment, keep in mind which tiles are in your proximity, and always have a general idea of where you are going to go if the killer comes.
You need to have at least a few "steps" in your plan, and not just "if bubba's around the corner, I'll run back to shack and hopefully not die". What happens afterwards? Will you find yourself in a dead spot if you drop shack pallet from the inside? Where are you goibg to go afterwards? Have a plan for 3+ upcoming steps.
2) Learn to combo tiles.
Ideally you are not just running TL, but switch between that TL, a nearby parallel walls with a window on the proper side, and a junk pallet in between. Stacking shack window with something else does wonders, particularly if you "feel" the consecutive-vaulting block timing and manage to avoid it.
3) Play at least 20-30 matches on chase-oriented killers with unique mechanics related to vaults/pallets to get an intuitive understanding of their pov and timings.
Huntress, doc, nurse, oni, hillbilly, PH all fall into this category.
-
Rarely.
3-4 times against comp players that I could recognize, and also a couple of times against really great players I've never heard of. It's always an interesting experience.
-
Good nurses and huntresses rarely do so, if at all.
-
Obviously

I'm pretty sure there's some bugs going on with map offerings, not too long ago I played Pig and survivors wanted to go to the game, but we played on Ormond instead.
The Game is also disabled, iirc. One of the gens ocasionally spawns in a room survivors can't access unless the killer breaks a wall there.
-
Dusty Noose is currently disabled jointly with Dead Dawg Saloon due to map bugs, but Midwich should have worked.
Map offerings do not grant you a 100% chance, but rather a 99%; however the odds for it not to work 3 times in a row are astronomical. Perhaps when diabling maps some of the unrelated map offerings got bugged for w/e reason.
-
This feels like a bait thread.

Regarding that sound, here is the latest https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1128414394 (it starts about 2min in) where there is that sound and I'm not the obsession. (don't jusge me, I wanted the extra 500BP from any means necessary in the end)
It happened again, but I forgot to capture it, here it's not me, but still red when the obsession is still alive.

I've listened to it and I got no idea, sorry. It feels like I've heard it before, but I'm not sure what it is attributed to.
Red obsession claws happen every once in a while, I couldn't figure out a pattern there. I've tested OoO and that's not it.

Epstein didn't kill himself.
-
A couple of possible reasons/solutions:
• Your search got stuck due to lobby bugs (happens rather rarely). Re-make the lobby then.
•You are q-ing at unusual time with very low ranks. If so, try playing closer to evening times and enable cross-play in settings if you haven't yet.
-
Haddonfield is statistically average in terms of killer lethality; it's just annoying.

Alright thanks, it's still a little confusing but i think i get it a bit more now haha

Yes, you need to have two people healing the same survivor simultaneously for it to count towards this quest.
NB: you get an equivalent of total heal in progress of this quest, and not just your own input (1 full co-op heal counts for 1 full heal, and not just 0.5 that you provided individually).
