I tested everything that came to my mind.
Frenzy does give an ms boost, although I openly admit I could have potentially not noticed the difference between 5.1 and 5.2 m/s.
Shadowborn doesn't affect it (so initially this bug was not necessarilly FOV-related)
Lunge attack in FF feels ok.

I just tested it, without a doubt he IS moving faster in Frenzy mode.
Average travel time alongside that house in normal movement is 2.45 Seconds.
Average travel time alongside that house in frenzy movement is 2.05 Seconds
15% of 2.45 is about half a second or so; so even calculating for my trigger time with the stop watch it's absolutely faster and seems to be the correct amount faster.

So in summary, Legion isn't bugged, he just kinda sucks haha.
I'll try to play him again tonight then (it's one of my base kit killers) and will return with comments regarding lunge attack and, if something goes wrong, ms.

Platform : Steam
after the new update I played as Legion and something weird always happen when I use his Frenzy.
- his Frenzy lunge distance is pretty much the same as the normal hit lunge
- his Frenzy speed goes down from 5.2m/s to 4.6m/s after you hit someone with your Frenzy
This might sounds not a lot, but this definitely made Legion unplayable. I dont know if this intended or not, but if is intended then I dont understand because Legion's power is already weak by itself.
Please fix his power as soon as possible because he's literally useless now.
This one with 30 upvotes, how was it ignored?
@Raging_Ryuga said:
The Legion currently has no increased movement speed in Feral Frenzy. His movement speed in Feral Frenzy is 4.6 m/s
The Legion also has no lunge in Feral Frenzy. It's as if you tap m1, it does not go any further than that.
Platform is PC, it occurs every game and requires no input to have active. It's automatic
I would attach a video but all you have to do is play Legion, it's completely broken right now

Also, @TripleSteal apparently your comments kept going to the spam filter, I just manually approved you so it stops happening.
Thanks, I'm typing on my phone and as a result am forced to edit typos every once in a while, which sometimes makes spam filter suspicious of my true intentions.

Well :/
Legion had 3 separate bugs in previous patch, being:
1) no FF FOV adjustment
2) Reduced lunge attack in FF
3) 4.6 FF m/s
Can anyone who touched legion since hotfix confirm that number 2 and number 3 are still here?

@Rizzo said:
If you really think Legion is still bugged, please do report it in the bug report section (https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs), would be better if you could show us evidence as well, maybe a clip that shows Legion covering the same distance in the same time both in Frenzy and not in Frenzy.
For what I know the devs tested Legion when the bug was present with their tools and saw it was just an FOV issue, while the speed was the correct value.
Wait, devs tested this bug and DIDN'T SPOT the bug?

Since pgtw nerf and undying introduction, pgtw transitioned from S tier to A, but it's still extremely decent.

No, they're not. As far as I know there are three:
- Mine, with a CMV format, where the purpose of the discussion is for people to challenge my view.
- This one, asking what the problem is with LGBT characters.
- A third using the "[statement], but" format.
Your post is more of a stand alone iirc, while 2 is an answer to 3 rather than a separate post (or vice versa, if we disregard the dates).
I tend to see this stuff as flooding. De jure it is not spam/dup posting, but de facto it is.
-
Quarantine helped a lot.

They're different threads. Just because they mention LGBT doesn't make them the same.
Two of them are precisely the same with same people making identical replies.
I assume my comment was removed? Peculiar.
-
There are 2 or 3 identical ongoing threads, and this one is therefore spam. Don't duplicate posts for no reason.
-
I assume bubba's chainsaw ms wasn't fixed either since I don't see it in patch notes?
Those two bugs are the most annoying from my perspective as they affect game balance significantly.
-
Surveillance, ideally with ruin/undying, allows you to grab people from gens A LOT.
Tinkerer is kind of a joke on GF, but you can give it a shot anyways.
-
Late evening MM is extremely sloppy as of now.
-
Stridor works because instead of improving your hearing (which would be an intuitive approach), this perk uses a coding shortcut and increases the volume of sounds made by survivors in this given trial. This is audiable for everyone including survivors themselves.
You can also try stuff like cruel limits, mindbreaker, thana, dying light and all the other perks directly impacting survivors rather than providing killer with something.
-
Disregarding the insignificance of the matter itself, the point of representation is to actually, well, represent. The quantity of Ts is increadibly small even in comparison to LG (let alone bi's), so choosing a T character would be statistically unfair.
B would be the safest choice from the point of view of public reaction in communities from different countries.
-
I think that's literally the only tile in the game that spawns with double pallets every once in a while; the issue is likely tile-specific rather than realm-specific.
-
Let's say you double pip in 50% of your legion games, then I'd say at least 30-35% out of these 50 were one-sided enough to be won even without FF m/s buff and lunge attack.
The problem is that it makes unwinnable all the matches that otherwise would have been close and exciting, but there are not that many of such games rn due to MM limitations.
Tl;dr you get enough of boring one-sided matches to complete it without much effort.
-
You need to submit a support ticket (assuming you already reported them in-game).

It's true.
He's currently able to attack survivors through lockers while they are still inside, and doesn't have an option to open lockers. Latter one is likely going to be added soon, while current Victor's ability is a collision glitch.
-
You need to complete all of the following:
1) enter a trial with no perks
2) repair an equivalent of one full generator (=80 charges). If you co-op repair with 1 teammate, you need to repair two full gens as your contribution (and therefore emblem score for repairs) would then be equal to precisely 1 full gen.
3) Escape that trial
Addons and offerings are not limited.
Gen repair requirement bar is rather low, so if you are consistently not getting any progress towards this achievement while complying with all the requirements, it might be some user-specific bug. It's definetely not universal though; I got this achievement ~5 days ago.
-
7 is old and extremely annoying (15s is way better than average).
8 happens randomly on all characters (most of the times its either an IW3 effect without this perk equipped or IW3 working as IW1, but sometimes IW3 just straight up doesnt work as you described). IW gets bugged with each and every major update cz sound effects are in the core of game's spaghetti code.
1-3 and 6 I've seen somewhere b4.
4 is new to me, does it only happen on midwich?
5 is most likely a feature.
-
It only happens on indoor maps afaik (it's still a rather crucial bug, obviously).

This is actually not true. I dont know if this is patch related or just a hidden bug but a few minutes ago I was able to DS the killer twice in 1 game. This has probably something to do with server registration failure since the first one was a 99% DS. It didnt use the perk and I didnt get the obsession claws either. Unfortunately I dont have any visual footage.
Hehe

This post is not a feedback/suggestion one, why was it moved? @Gay Myers (Luzi)
-
Hi.
That was the most troublesome killer adept when I was completing everything, in the end the easiest way to complete it turned out to be by playing her as a pure M1 killer. It will probably still take several attempts, but it's definetely doable.
If played normally, both chaser and malicious emblems will lack quite a lot of points.

Personally i'm on PC with ultra: i can see survivors really far away. Might be a bug ?
Off topic, but am i the only one that can shortly see my own scratch marks when the camera is near walls ? (without the nancy perk)
This bug is universal, fortunately not as game-breaking as some others.

Yeah me neither.
I'll test it in kyf tomorrow.

I only noticed the animation change; in terms of actual use hatchets feel about the same (except for the short period when server sided hit validation was on).

Yeah I've noticed that it really has only happened on the indoor maps near pallets so that's what I'm going with.
Btw are u sure that the beam disappears and not just its visuals? That's the question I had when I encountered it, and I didn't really understand it in the end.
-
I can confirm flashlight beam completely disappearing sometimes, albeit I couldn't figure out myself what triggers it.

Ok... is there anything that isn't bugged after the last patch?
It's hard to make a large list of things thay work properly atm, all the core game aspects have one issue or another. Well, DS is not bugged, even though it could be.
On a serious note, that map stuff could be a weird unsolicitated feature rather than a bug.
-
@Bwsted said:
It's not a bug. The (green) map offerings, when burned alone, make the probability to go to the selected realm almost 100% but not quite. I think the actual value is upward of 99% nonetheless. Meaning that they can actually fail. I've seen a few times over 2k hours and it was confirmed here on the forum to be the case by design.
It is indeed this way normally, but rn the odds are screwed.
-
Ok
-
Considering it's the 2nd time over the last few days I see this issue being reported, it's safe to say it was introduced with 4.4.0. It is unclear whether it's a bug or a feature; and it definetely wasn't this way before.
It might have something to do with temporary adjusted odds of appearance of Autohaven and Ormond as well.
-
They are VERY different to each other in terms of balance despite sharing pretty much all the basic sctuctures.

This isn’t just from the update. Autohaven has ALWAYS been the go to map for the game for as long as I’ve played. In comparison, most of the time even now after the update I still only get Ormond with an offering.
I track my games (incuding map data) for a long while and there are no significant spikes of autohaven maps other than the current one.
Keep in mind that the odds are even for maps rather than realms, so you are 5 times more likely to get an autohaven map over let's say gideon.
-
@CountVampyr said:
I don’t know. Why the hell do I get Autohaven 70% of the time?
For the same reason that OP gets Ormond. Both realms have temporary increased odds of appearance after the update.

The DC penalties should be the same no matter the circumstances.
It's a much better idea to simply change how DCs interact with requirements like that. Change the way DCs are handled so they're actually counted as the mori/sacrifice/whatever the killer might be after instead of them being able to cuck the killer.
If someone DCs while being hooked, you get double emblem points for the sacrifice, as if you killed two separate survivors (pretty sure it's a bug rather than a feature).
-
Yes. It doesn't quite go away after thousands of hours either; it's something mental i guess.
-
Flashlight has some counter intuitive features, and it´s not about hacks (or at least I'm yet to see one of a kind being used). On top of out-of-FOV blinds themselves, there's actually segregation among killer in terms of who can be blinded this way and who can't, despite all of them sharing the same FOV (assuming no perks used).
Just like legion tech and delayed fast vaults, this mechanic doesn't make much sense to me.
-
This kind of posts always assures me that people posting them are significantly more racist than those they complain about; by bringing a matter of skin color into a question that never had anything to do with it, and self-victimizing / getting offended on behalf of other, while relying on their own questionable assumptions.
-
Are you sure that you are getting merciless victory and not just 4k?
I have to ask because cannibal if played correctly double ranks extremely rarely (out of the last 100 matches I recorded it happenned once); and plague literaly never double-pips - both malicious and chaser emblems are destroyed by her M2. Latter one is the most annoying adept achievement in the game.
-
That is in fact the only reason I play it
-

Later at night it happens a lot for both survivor and killer queues, and being on the other side of such an unbalanced match is rather disappointing as well.
This is a sacrifice for lower queue times, though; reducing waiting time is currently prioritized over matching people evenly rank-wise. This approach is understandable.

Old autohaven had some highly questionable hitboxes on generic junk tiles as well, and they were here for years.
Objects' hitboxes patch is not likely to be released any time soon, in my opinion.
