I see you. Now you are just an m1 killer with no power.
You didn't see me. Now you are in the post game chat fuming about tunneling after losing a three second chase.

I will say: going against SWF is a totally different game.

As villain I run CoH every game. As hero I have at least one, usually two, running CoH. I can't remember my last hero game without one.

It will :)

Only people who get affected by basement Bubba are solo players. SWF with an IQ above 1 digit will just rush gens.
So you get tired of being outplayed by SWF, and you think the solution is to punish solos, making them want to only play SWF next time.
Excellent points.

That hasn't been my experience at all, as a killer main who's just starting to learn survivor.
Taking the last two whackadoo days of MMR testing out of the equation, for the most part my teammates are somewhere around my skill level and even though I definitely escape more than I die, I'm not suddenly facing 2000 hour Nurses as a 50 hour survivor - aside from the occasional game where someone dodges a lobby and MMR poops itself. If I just dodge lobbies where everyone is readied up when I get there, I tend not to get these much either.
... You're a fifty hours survivor?

Definitely.
But on the other hand, I also sometimes get paired with amazing teammates who basically carry my butt.
It's the luck of the draw.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2906373#Comment_2906373
Not exactly.
You are paired with survivors of a similar MMR, but there is also a component of matchmaking which compares your average team MMR to the killer's MMR.
If you're losing games - you will also be facing less skilled killers.
After a certain threshold the only easier killers are perkless rookies. Win two of those and you'll be back into a loser streak.
-
It's a race to the bottom. You get bad teammates then you lose. Then because you lost you get worse teammates.

We have to go back.

What promotes more campers is camping, tunneling and noed. Killers get free kills and then the mmr put them against good survs. And they don’t know how to play, so they camp and come here to cry
Camping drops mmr though. There's even a point deduction for post game stats.

I always find it funny when people here make claims with so much confidence even though they're easily proven to be false.
"Survivor strong perks haven't been nerfed..."
- DS - at least 3 nerfs since creation
- BT - nerfed, used to give BT to the unhooked as well
- Buffed boil over - Nerfed
- Mettle of Man - nerfed
- Circle of Healing - Nerfed twice
Like....what are you even saying? What's the point of making outrageous statements not based in any realm of facts (I could go on but that list should suffice)
D's and boiled over both got buffed before they get nerfed. Ds was the only reasonable nerf. Boil over will still be good and better than it was post nerf.

You redditors couldn't handle old CoD lobbies.
WEAK.

I didn't know there was a name for the practice. It definitely made my time better.

I am burned out on the game. I agree the upcoming midchapter is very good. But there is still a LOT of neglected content in the game, and they are adding a lot of equally as bad content too (nemesis add-ons, barely any of the re perks are being used, pinhead's add-ons, jonah is seeing very little use and corrective action is one of the worst perks in the game, sadako is bad and yoichi is nowhere to be seen and brings another weak boon perk). This game has a tremendous amount of content but the variety is so lacking. I just really hope they have a different plan for year 6. Because at this rate there is going to be a lot of neglected content, and there is going to be characters that will never get tome lore.
Understandable concerns!

I feel like without any big additions to gameplay aside from just new perks the game over time will slowly decline. They really need to come up with some new ideas. Scourge hooks were probably the last big addition but they still werent as big a deal as when totems got added to the game with hag. I still wish we could have 2 killers vs 8 survivors or make twins able to be played by 2 people we just need something that completely alters the landscape in some way to draw back in players across the board. What about 4 killers vs 1 survivor might sound like a nightmare but there could be some things learned from an experiment like that. I realize my ideas are bad I am just trying to think of different ideas that they could test as something does need to be added again.
New modes would be amazing. Playing KWF would be comfy

Ghostface should have an ability where he can make one of the Survivors mobile phones ring while out of chase. It is very loud and will give away your position each time it rings. The Survivors will have an animation that takes a few seconds to have to stop the phone from ringing so they don't get caught as easily. Making Ghostface just a rehash of Michael Myers is very lazy and uninspired to say the least. The Survivor having to turn the phone off in the match would slow things like Generators down some and help with his 1v4 pressure which he has almost none of, especially in out door maps.
I think its a travesty that Ghostface has absolutely NOTHING to do with phones when in the movies, him calling people is all over the place.. What do you guys think?
Incredibly BA idea.

...How does this nerf Hillbilly?
The Speed Limiter addon currently just makes the chainsaw only deal one health state instead of instadowning. This change would be a net buff compared to that.
Im an idiot. Thank you.

And on the same side of the coin; Survivors need to stop saying 'Be happy with the 3K' and shaming Killers who try for the 4.

Honestly we should be happy with one (1).

Frankly, the more rounds I play as Survivor when one of my teammates disconnects the more I kind of wish the killer would just go into full sweat mode so we can just end the match and move on to the next one. I realize that's not a particularly popular opinion around here
Just get yourself killed then. Killer will know when you keep pointing at a hook. I get people like that on a DC farm.
-
Because it isn't really a game. There's no glory in beating them at that point.
I always give the round over and let them farm on a DC.

Billy has the best detection and slowdown power in game. Nothing to sweat about. It's those lesser killers that can only run in a straight line that you have to worry about

I never lost to a Pinhead, and rarely see them, so I am baffled at the statistic they have the highest kill rate. I would even go as far as to suggest to give Pinhead more buffs.

In all the DH threads, survivors have most graciously pointed out that SB is so much better for them than DH.
I never realized how 70% or 80% of survivors are deliberately using an inferior perk, to give us killers a chance! From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Or...wait. How many of you own monocles and Victorian fainting couches? Hold them tight and pull them near, respectively, because I've heard another theory:
...
...
DH is actually much, much better than SB for many reasons explained at length, and survivors' dire warnings about using SB are a bad faith deflection to avoid a DH nerf!
Which is more likely, friends?
You're right. Hence why we all see DH spam and not SB.

He needs to be updated next. He needed an update more then Legion and GF in my opinion. His strong add ons inflate his kill rate making the devs think he's ok, AND HES NOT. His basekit is weak and old.
Ghostie is pretty decent with the reduction to power delay.

This idea has come up a few times. I can't see how it could work as SWF could easily see that it's not an actual survivor.
It works in Prop Night and there are group comms in game.

Remember when Hex+Undying was the only killer perk combo you saw in games? Remember when you could pop a gen with those perks?
BHVR said hey everyone is using that combo and it overperforms - let's nerf it. DH should have been buried into the ground a long time ago for the same logic.
After 5 years we got an admission that SWF gives you a 15% increased chance to escape. This goes against the rhetoric the devs gave us in year 1 : "SWF offers no advantage."
These two elements are probably the most broken and upsetting aspects of DBD right now (aside from EAC making it easy for h's to C).
I will give the devs credit because they saw Haddonfield was an abusive map and completely disabled it during the rework. I will remove any credit given if the map is not approximately 9000m². Why that size? Because most maps beyond that size make the game nearly impossible to play with any killer besides Nurse/Blight.
>This goes against the rhetoric the devs gave us in year 1 : "SWF offers no advantage."
...What kind of goon statement...
-
Supposedly she's weak but I'm losing a lot of games to her win not in SWF. She's super fun to play against.. Will likely buy soon.

To be honest, in order for this game to be fun again, it should go back to be more of a party game, which it was supposed to be... meaning a fun & games chill... you didn't need to sweat with a 4 DH, DS, BT users... they were all to have fun, perks like leader were used more than now even thought they are not "good perks". Right now, people tell you. Don't want to be tunneled? Use DS then and so on... people need to know how to chill and that they don't always need to run the meta perks for the win. I do use often Resilience. There are better perks? Yeah but I don't want/need to sweat to win with all the meta perks, I am there to have fun. Also, that means I am not good at looping, which is ok because again, I don't go for the win and I certainly don't care even though winning is a sweeter feeling.
Spot on.

I got so sick and tired of seeing NOED and decided to do what every killer told me to do on the forums. DO BONES.
So I did.
I went around the map, cleansed every hex/dull totem I could find and one Mikaela came up to me and started to point at me profusely.
Then at end game, she started going off about "why'd you cleanse totems when boons are meta" "You're trash" "You ruined the entire match for everyone" and etc.
So, I DON'T cleanse totems and get flamed by killers, when I DO cleanse them, I get flamed by survivors.
WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO FREAKIN' DO???
You fundamentally did the correct thing. If I were running all four boons I would still want you to do bones.
