I was wondering what the community, particularly you killer mains, though of people swf-ing while not on comms? Do you think it makes swf more balanced? Is it still op to face? I like to have teammates I know will do gens/ bones/ get me off the hook/ not give a free 3k from NOED but also know how annoying it is to face 4 man swfs.

the problem with swf is the comms part, so no there isn't a problem

I figured. But why DC against Ghostface, and a memey one at that? All I wanted to do was go fast. I was definitely trying to grab, they even slow vaulted some for me, but didn't happen. Probably just got the timing wrong.

probably, since i got into the same situation where i was in tier 3 and got 3 downs, but i got stuck in a pallet then got out and farmed, i depiped but i honestly didn't even care. And people dc against the fake stalky boi because they don't like his reveal mechanic because i guess instead of playing against a ghosty like you do myers they wanna get out in the open and reveal you like that

Just wanted to meme around a bit, decided to play some Smolface. Two people DC'd the second they saw it was Ol' Ghosty, so I decided to farm with the other two. Halfway into the game, I got stuck in a pallet and couldn't move at all, one of the stayed in the game to teabag and vault over my new home (I think she was just memeing around so no harm done.) Then I got brutal killer despite never hooking a single person, or really getting any deviousness points.

It's moments like these that I realize we truly live in the best timeline.

you got brutal due to the dcs and that pallet bug only gets you out if you grab someone while they are vaulting, which is why she was probably vaulting

But I waited the whole week to play, and rank reset is only on the 13th :(

i mean you could always manually derank by trolling every match with ghostface just tea bag until you get back to rank 5

  • Wait till rank reset, and depip from there

  • That would just negate every insta down killer.

Ok... So buffs and nerfs are objective not subjective. I.E. The ruin change was a nerf, as it changed the entire way the perk worked in every essence, even in how it was designed to be used. After the change we were forced to apply more pressure to gens, just for the perk to work. Before, it was intended to PASSIVELY do it's job, now it only works with an active playstyles.

Thanatophobia is a buff, because it did nothing but strengthen it's INTENDED USE. It was never intended to be a passive slowdown skill, and that was obvious to everybody at the start. It didn't become a passive perk until Legion was introduced, and you could keep survivors injured rather easily.

So yes, while you're being subjective and whiny, I WILL say it's a buff, and if you need perks to act as a crutch to you, you're a lower skill killer.

Thana was not a buff, i already explained why i think its not

    I ask this question because.

I was playing a round on PC and it was against a PC killer too. They were finding people almost instantly with only the blood favour perk on.

I watched someone totally fill their wiggle bar so it went away and they were still able to be put on a basement hook and this isn't the it just filled as you're being hooked thing.

this happened twice in a row with this person, After the game I called them out on the wired behavior and was promptly called a ######### and that they can't cheat in the game because it has anti cheat, but those two things combined seemed way to off to not be someone playing dirty. "it was "probably just lag" isn't gonna fly.

OK let me explain my response

    1. Do you have evidence
    2. Did you finish process
    3. If You mean finding people at the start of the match very quickly there are strats you can learn to find people quickly
    4. Why would you talk to the cheater? Even if you forgot to record, making them think they got away with it could get them into a game where someone did record and they were cheating.
    5. For the future I recommend using a recording tool so you can always have evidence while playing.

Haddonfield is the biggest mistake in the game map-wise. Ormond would be MUCH better if they could fix the scratchmarks. I enjoy Ormond, other than that. (Before you start with survivor-biased, please know I play 1 game as survivor for every 7/8 games as killer, with 2k hours playtime)

But let's remember that with the exception of Ormond, Haddonfield, and Mother's Dwelling, the maps are designed to be best used with the killer they were released with.

But when it comes to map size... If they make all maps small enough for low speed killers to do very well, then killers who have high mobility will become even more unbalanced in killer favor.

And let's also remember that it seems that since infinites were removed, all Macmillan maps are killer-sided, instead of just Sheltered Woods.

Of course high mobility killers shake that up. For example nurse would absolutely crap on any team that's on any map with no corn. It would be too easy, same for the rest of the mobility killers. But that only proved that we would need to bring the lower tiers up to the higher tiers and buff solo, something that is only started recently. I personally never considered any map but the one with the mine shaft on Macmillan killer sided, then again I play a killer who is literally moving 5 percent faster than the survivors at the start of the game

  • @PigMainClaudette said:

Ok, so a few pointers here. Like ToxicMyers said above, they're being looked at which is great.

But. Keys. They actually require [Living survivors +1] COMPLETED GENERATORS which means that one of 3 things happen. Either the killer is losing so badly it doesn't matter, you've already closed hatch, or two of them pushed and got out after 3 generators were complete and it was a close match.

Mori's are totally busted and flat-out deny more of the game than keys. They need a serious look, or like I've suggested before, cancel all ranks for that game.

As for NoED, it is a team effort, but in my experience it's always the one who actually does the totems who gets punished, aka me. I can regularly do 3-4 without detection perks and still get done in by NoED.

I mean, when your one objective is to kill survivors, and you fail at doing half of your objective, that could cost either a pip or even a saftey pip. Its not even like moris are unskillful either, itsthe same as if the dude went to second phase on first hook(which wouldbe my counter so i could capitalize on the time my team has if the dude is proxy camping). I do say this, cutting any part of your objective out is really really boring. For example, keys only require you 3 gens to cost a killer a pip, which if im not mistaken is 40% of the objective removed just by using an item, and moris cut out 1 hook state on each survivor, meaning instead of the usually 12 if you want to get a earned 4k, you only need to get 8 downs. which is 33% percent of the killer objective gone. Both are unbalanced and unfair. But keys and moris are similar in power when it comes down to it. Only difference is a mori can just delete a survivor out the game very quickly if its a good killer.

Edit: to add on to my mori aren't unskillful statement, you still need to down people to use it, get no downs you get no mori

  • @Dhurl421 said:

Behavior does something about it. Not a hate post on Devs, they work hard and obviously have tons of complaints on their plate.

But when will Keys and Moris (specifically eboni) be swept from the game, or at least nerfed to hell? As a new killer I'm tired of seeing multiple bad survivors have a free escape before gens are done. But, also tired of bad killers getting a one hook kill off of me while in the meantime everyone else escapes. Congrats, you showed your Twitch audience that you suck without free escapes / kills.

With Noed you can blame not doing totems (an unrealized core mechanic by most). But dood you should not be rewarded for not completing the objective efficiently on either side.

Few biased complaints lead to unnecessary nerfs on killers that are difficult but fine. But multiple complaints to BOTH keys and moris by both sides are ignored. Why?

They aren't ignored, they already have said they will be reworked.

  • You are telling me you can code an entire dbd as complex as dbd with a coding program you have no experience with? mkay

They may do stupid decisions sometimes but your uninformed complaint doesn't help either.

I'm so sick of camping Leatherface killers and camping killers in general. It sucks the fun out of the game and it's the reason why players quit playing the game. There needs to be a ZERO bloodpoint camping penalty for killers who camp. I understand getting trolled by survivors as a killer player as well but it's gotten out of hand.

Ok here is a really good anti camp build, Deliverance, DS, UB,DH, use deliv to unhook yourself and use smol pp to get away, then use dead hard if you are still being chased. Or just, you know, run kindred so everyone can cuck the killer out of literally any bloodpoints and pips

Like I said I have wasted enough time for no progress. Reports at this point make zero difference. The company doesn't need you defending them there silence speaks volumes.

Reports haven't made a difference because you haven't completed the process. Their silence doesn't speak volumes. THE DIRECTIONS I GAVE YOU ARE IN THE FORUM ITSELF. Literally I think it was game rules and it has a thread about reporting. Use your brain before making mindless punches at the devs' reputation. And no people like you are the reason I will continue defending the devs. I hate dev bashing unless there is literally nothing to get them out of the situation e. g. Almo's reason for pop nerf, but even then I say don't insult them just loudly voice your complaints. Stop dev bashing it ruins your and the devs' reputation by doing so.

I'm not the only one who has wasted too much time and money for y'all to not care the state of the game and yes this anger is in the moment but I took a break from the game to just see you anti cheat is so low end anyone could bypass it. People are going to say how do I know it was a lag switch? Getting near a survivor in the open for them to teleport to a loop or chase them off a heal for them to be right back on top of them when the ping was green in lobby is a dead give away. I'm not telling you to fix your game I'm asking you to upgrade it because it getting really old to just expect the bs.

Hey here's a tip: instead of bashing the devs, finish the reporting process. This is what you have to do

    1. In game report
    2. Submit ticket with video evidence
    3. Wait
    4. Make forum post about how you can report so others don't make this type of post
    5. Profit
  • Hey don't say they are trolling. This is a warning as i got jailed for this exact reason. So for your own sake don't do it

You do realize the devs are coming up with an early game slowdown,

You do realize they do look at the forums? That's why they exist. They need feedback and this is the best way to get it. If you don't like forum posts like this then don't comment on them.

Quite a few of you might have seen before in other threads about the current emblem and ranking system that I have actually defended it as a decent way to ascertain someone's place within the game. When it works and we don't get horribly mismatched games.

People commonly view this game with ONLY TWO OBJECTIVES: Do generators (Survivor) and kill all survivors (Killer). Now, while these are indeed the advertised objectives, they are not the only ones. They are what I dub the ULTIMATE objective. The thing that you are trying to achieve overall. There are many more objectives in this game, yet it seems like they are easier to meld together as a Survivor than a Killer, if half the threads on the matter are to be considered gospel. Which by the way, they aren't. If my boosted playing can double-pip against two reds, a purple and a green at rank 16, then so can you at any rank. I missed a few seasons of killer and de-ranked, Summer in Aus Liquor is brutal and I have very little time to myself then. I'm working my way back up. I've been playing since Darkness Among Us, so I'm not new and when I did play more Killer, I reached Rank 7 max.

The main issue that I currently see amongst all forms of play in this is that solo Survivor is the easiest to rank up with, and a co-ordinated SWF is actually harder than playing an off-meta Killer. There are also several factors including killer selection alone, then topping with perks, as to how the concept of "Being Efficient" with your ultimate goal is actually hurting your rank, gameplay and perception of the game.

Here's a quick rundown of the objectives so we know what we're talking about:

    SURVIVOR

Lightbringer - Self explanatory. Generators and exit gates.

Unbroken - Surviving as long as possible/escaping.

Benevolence - Altruism and WORKING AS A TEAM with heals, protection hits and unhooking other survivors.

Evader - Dodging the killer, through chases or stealth.

    The "Efficiency" Issue

Now. The most notorious case of "Survivors being efficient". Gen-rushing. Gen-rushing is literally busting out the generators in the least amount of time possible. Because the game is going so quickly, there are no* chases for Evader, no* hooks or heals for Benevolence and LITTLE** Lightbringer as you have not been on that many generators or hooks. You did not play the Survivor game of working together to keep the team alive, of evading a killer when they came near in order to keep yourself alive as long as possible.

In an ideal match of Survivor, you want to actually be healing and even unhooking other survivors and taking it in turns to be chased so that hook totals are spread out early game. In an SWF Comms scenario, everyone can coordinate with the team in order to have minimal people doing a task other than generators, denying players more of said emblems. Yes, it is all getting done, but by one person at a time.

*No emblem in category, Bronze at best

    **Bronze, or Silver at best

    KILLER

    Gatekeeper - Keeping generators unfinished.

Devout - Hooking survivors, not killing strictly, but hooking.

Malicious - Injuring, downing and interrupting Survivors.

Chaser - Getting into and ending chases.

    The "Efficiency" Problems

That's right! There are MULTIPLE for killer! And it's easier to point out too.

    1) Kills as an Ultimate Goal - Killers on these forums seem to prioritise the ability to kill over everything else. It is in their name after all, so it must be right, right? Wrong. One of the BEST things that you can do as a killer is actually to hook everyone multiple times. Survivors on Death Hook also tend to panic a bit from time to time, as a simple slip-up can lead to their death, a thought that does plague them. Stack that and you have a panic ridden team who are now watching everyone drop in quick succession.

    2) Instant Downs Seen as a Good Thing - YOU GET HALF YOUR CHASER, FOR DOING HALF THE WORK. Yes, you are getting hooks quicker, but the fact that you are halving another emblem in order to be more efficient with another. Literally sacrificing emblems to be faster on others. So many times has a Bubba, Hillbilly or Plague complained that they got their 4k and only got something like Brutal Killer yet strangely omit the number of Chainsaw/Broken downs they got while doing so, and in relation to the number of hooks.

    3) Not Stopping the Survivor's Primary Objective - You know what the point of healing is for Survivors? It's to deny killers their ultimate objective, yet Killers do little of the counter for the Survivor's one: Kicking the DAMN GENERATORS. I even made a thread about this recently saying that regression speeds for kicking generators should actually be buffed to make this more enticing as current regression isn't up to scratch unless you're like me and hardcore run Surveillance unironically. By not regressing generators, you are allowing to keep their progress and complete their objective while they freely try to deny yours.

    4) Mori's - "Buh keys!" BUH NOTHING. For Survivors to get a 4-man escape, they have to do all 5 generators. In other words, you have to be losing so badly that Survivors can coordinate themselves over to the hatch. The best they can generally hope for is a 2-man escape with 3 generators done, which is still most of their objective. Annoying? Yes. But Mori's are just outright worse. Mori's only require one hook and then you lose out on Chaser, Malicious and Devout. A mere 3rd of your objective on one survivor, or a 12th of your ultimate goal. A Mori shortcuts the game WAY more than a key does, and I never use either because of how much they shortcut it.

    5) Tunnelling/Camping is "Efficient" - Targeting an injured survivor is indeed quite a nice prospect. You have to do less chasing after all, since apparently Gatekeeper is the only emblem we need to worry about. Removing one opposing player from the game is also great for applying pressure as there's now less to worry about. But you've now sacrificed Malicious and probably a good portion of that oh-so important Lightbringer as everyone else is still on generators since you have targeted just one person. Same goes for camping. You get even less Malicious since you have no more hits, less Devout as you have now killed someone in ONE hook and WAY less Chaser as you've only had one or two hits total on that survivor.

So what does the ideal Killer game look like? Well, slugging is a must. Sorry, Survivors. It's just the way it has to be. You gotta eat some dirt from time to time. As a Pig main, there are two ways I apply slowdown with sheer gameplay alone: Slugging (at 4 alive, never the last two) and the Reverse Bear Trap. If you slug at 4 Alive, then that's one out of the game, eating dirt and waiting to be recovered and another now off to heal them. Two left. You go to a generator, find one on it, and chase/down/hook them. One left. One person out of four possibly on a generator. Letting Survivors heal up is also not a bad thing, as it can give them a false sense of security! A Survivor at Healthy is probably likely to make a mistake as they think they have that safety net of a second health state. You've now got another dose of Chaser and Malicious too, if they do heal up. Don't be afraid to kick a generator too, as if it is left alone for a while, those extra seconds can be valuable. Regression of a generator is still regression, no matter how little it is.

As it is, Killers aim to just go Chase-Down-Hook-Repeat. They are missing out on a lot, if all they do is bounce off injured survivors or even target the same few. By simply playing Gen-Protector with my top 3 most played Killers of Pig, Doctor and Legion, I can do better in the eyes of the Entity than half the killers on these forums. It's also playing hard into Decisive Strike, where people have claimed to be "too efficient" and got hit by it. I do not believe that you can hook 3 other people, get back to that first one, and still get DS'd unless they were farming in your face. Feel free to prove me wrong with a gameplay recording. It might give me incentive to cut off my 2ft ponytail that I've had for over a decade now.

Point is here, for both sides, the best matches are where both sides compete to complete all of their objectives and use their perks and mechanics to slow the other side from doing theirs. Funny thing is that it also plays into what the other side WANTS in order to do well for the current ranking system! Slow down and enjoy yourselves.

Just not Forever Freddy or Infinite Mending Legion, though, they were too far.

You have four emblems to focus on, four objectives. Generators, surviving, healing and dodging Killers for Survivor. Protecting generators, chases, hooks then killing Survivors for Killers. Don't miss the forest for the trees.

I'll see you in the Fog.

What made you think solo is easier than swf?

Yeah but do you really need to go for a survivor that has just been unhooked? Just chase the survivor saving them. If they increased the mend time slightly to discourage body-blocking using BT, then I wouldn't mind it being proximity based.

I personally don't because im fine with hook trades but others may want to play optimally and get that first survivor out as quick as possible

Unless you mean you are stamding behind the killer and he swings in front of him and hits you, then imma need video evidence.

You’re claiming it’s only worth healing against 2 killers?!

And correct, 4% wasn’t particularly oppressive, BUT that’s the point. That’s why including a healing debuff made it difficult for the devs to increase the percentages. The higher the number goes if the stuck with a global debuff, the LESS likely survivors are going to bother with healing, which defeats the entire purpose of the perk.

No, im claiming those 2 killers are the main ones who clap you if you are injured. Please stay healthy against a plague or a legion and so how you could run them like any m1 killer. Its not hard. Most other killers either don't want you to heal or do not give one if you do. For example lets use your freddy example. He literally easily clap pubs easily without thana, he doesn't need it to have great success. The reason its so strong on legion and plague is this

Legion- his power is literally to make you injured, if you constantly healing against him without healing perks its gonna suck because he will keep making you injured.

Plague- if you keep cleansing against her to stay healthy you just give her the best projectile in the game

  • Make the game enjoyable for both sides? Now let's see how the devs have made the game funner for survivors(since thats the side im guessing you main)

    they nerfed billy

    they nerfed legion

    they nerfed nurse

    they nerfed spirit

    they nerfed ghostface

if they get it right they will nerf ph too

    they nerfed ruin

    they nerfed pop

they haven't touched ds in about a year so you still have that problematic perk

they gave you good perks this last DLC

they haven't touched haddonfield, ormond, and you still have god building on disturbed ward.

You can make mistakes and not lose the entire match over it usually.

You have other people to help you

SWF in pubs is still perfectly fine for you to use

This list can go on and on.

My eyes are bleeding from seeing all the “tHaNa WaS nErFeD!!” claims.

Has everybody forgotten that Thana is DESIGNED around encouraging/tricking survivors into healing more frequently?!

We need to go back to understand Nurse, and all 3 of her perks. As absurdly powerful as Blinks are, its indisputable that Nurse will have a much easier time hitting stationary targets with Blinks rather than moving targets.

Enter Stridor & A Nurses Calling. Stridor to better triangulate where a survivor is hiding behind obstructions, and A Nurses Calling for a ridiculously easy Blink target. And now for a way to greatly incentivise survivors to actually prioritise healing so that Nurse can set up those easier Blink targets. Thanatophobia. The global debuff was never meant to be oppressive enough that it’s purpose was to directly slow down gens. It was just meant to be enough of a nuisance to survivors that they heal to get rid of it. It’s through more regular healing that game stall for the killer is achieved through this perk, and shorter chases when used in conjunction with A Nurses Calling.

The problem with the devs having stubbornly stuck with this idea of Thana have a global debuff is that it backed them into a corner by having to be very conservative with the percentages. The higher that number gets, the less likely Thana is going to achieve its intended outcome: getting survivors healing, and the killer more frequently catching survivors out in a compromised position. Killers, you can’t have one perk have increased percentages to slow gens down longer AND keep survivors injured longer at no additional compromise, other than simply equipping this ONE perk and doing something you’re already going to be doing anyway: injuring survivors. That just goes to show you don’t care about balance at all. If you want to commit your strategy to keeping survivors injured in conjunction with Thana’s other debuffs, you need to compromise more perk slots to that with either Coulrophobia, Sloppy, or Forced Penance. Deal with it!

This recent change to Thana in regards to gen slow down is redundant. It doesn’t matter if it’s 5% per survivor, 10%, or 15%. Survivors are not meant to just be putting up with the debuff, except where they simply have no choice to because they’re not near teammates and cannot heal themselves. What DOES matter is that healing (where immediately available to injured survivors) will be way more attractive now that they’re aware Thana has no direct healing debuff. It’s your job as killer to CAPITALISE on this behaviour, and adjust your load out and strategy accordingly.

If your using Thana as a gen slow down perk, you’re playing the game wrong.

I mean, 4 percent ain't all that much for a removal of the healing debuff. And the fact thats its only useful on 2 killers should tell you something but ok.

I don't know what else to tell you other than you are making massive assumptions about my thoughts and playstyle, which is frustrating. Rather than try to understand where I'm coming from, you're giving me a 'Cognitive To-Do' list that you're suggesting I complete or this game's not for me. How is that helpful?

So you may be shocked to hear that I'm one of the nicest survivors to encounter in game- because if I have nothing nice to say, I say NOTHING at all. That includes t-bagging, flashlight clicking, etc. But frequently I DO message the Killer praise or encouragement even after...wait for it....even AFTER THEY KILL ME. So I'm not sure where you've gotten the idea I hate on Killers?

And why do I do this? Because I HAVE played Killer, and I know first hand how irritating it can be dealing with toxic/rude survivors. I usually solo q but when I SWF, it's with the Killers I've befriended WHILE playing survivor.

So I'm politely telling you that it's not for you to decide whether or not I should play this game. That would be judgemental on your part, and despite this thread being in "Discussion", only each player can decide for themselves if they want to keep playing. Stop trying to run players off.

No bro you got it all wrong, You play survivor so you must be toxic, IF you play survivor and aren't toxic, you a liar /s.

I come from a background in CSGO so please bear that in mind. If it weren't plagued by hackers it'd be a wonderfully balanced game. I merely suggest this for a competitive matchmaking in DBD:

    (Both Survivor and Killer)

    No perks/Add Ons

No Items or offerings brought into the match

Items can still be found in chests.

This on paper would decrease the variety of things that need to be balanced and make it more bare bones. I dare say solo only as SWF brings inherent advantages that would disadvantage solo players who queued with them. This would very much so make the competitive experience feel more balanced in my outsider opinion and killer powers could be independently balanced in this matchmaking variation so that no killer overpowers any groups and survival rates are more in line with developer expectations.

Then wouldn't camping and tunneling become the main way to win ? And it would actually work since there's nothing to stop them?

Yeah but nobody cares if devour, lullaby, or any other hex perk respawns 3 times because it's going to be niche.

It's like they're determined to keep Ruin. I'd rather have Ruin changed and keep undying. If you nerf undying then we're back to the days where your devour is gone within 30 seconds.

Nerfing ruin? Now where have I heard that before?

So when I'm playing Clown and there is a chance the downed survivor will still have DS, I throw a bottle on the survivor right before picking him up. Now does that gas make it harder to see and land that skill check? And if not at least when I get stunned I hear that scream right after meaning the survivor gets slowed down right after DSing me.

Playing against Clown since I mostly play survivor I never see any other Clown killer do this? Should not this be something Clown players do more often?

Latest News, The Developers have announced a Clown nerf /s

He's not even the best killer in the game,he's mid tier at least.

Killers better than doctor in my opinion:Oni,Spirit,Freddy,Hag,Pyramid Head, just to name a few.

There are some sick combos you can pull with doc,for example the double calm addon with distressing terror radius on a map like the game, but besides these situational maps and builds,he is definetly not on the level of the killers I mentioned especially on big maps.I love playing doc and even verse againts him,I dont understand the hate he receives then the killers I mentioned above exist.

I hate his laugh, like dude STFU you shocked a survivor so what how is this funny

Haddonfield, as well as Ormond, Temple, and the indoor maps (specifially Midwich) are all garbage fires in map design that all involve the beloved hold W all game-long gamplay.

Oh I Thought you meant haddonfield was a good reason on why they good at balancing. MY b lol

  • @BigTimeGamer said:

    Haddonfield is still unchanged

that’s all that needs to be said

    Why is that?

  • Im guessing you don't know what sweating for the 4k is, because 3 genning isn't sweating for the 4k. Also I reccomend if you aren't an english speaker to try to trasnlate what you wanna say through google translate.

    The fences? Not strong

Safe pallets? Maybe 3 on Haddonfield.

Gens must be spread, If not fast Killers would be busted.

Maybe it is a strong map but at least it's a fun map. You know "fun" right, it's the reason why we play this game

The fences are strong, there are a lot of safe pallets and I partially agree with the last point. And I personally don't think a map that forces the killer to 3 gen if they are a low mobility killer is fun. Heck I remember 4k with trapper on haddonfield because I trapped my entire 3 gen. Did I think it was fun? No. Did the survivors think it was fun? Judging by the toxic messages, no.

  • My point is they had the option to dedicate time to balance and bug fixes due to the fact we are in quarantine, they said no. They still have that option if they need it though. I do agree dev's aren't perfect and they will do the right thing when the time comes I hope

Yes, but that's taking up all their time.

They can't fix bugs and do all that at the same time.

You know they have the option to dedicate a chapter to bug fixes and balance issues but they said no.

Wait Tell me what on Haddonfield is unfair? Now serious.

Who is sluzzy I diden't saw that Name ones

The fences, the abundance of safe pallets, windows, the size, and how spread out the gens are. Its unbelievably survivor sided that the fact you think that this and ormond are balanced is what gave you away. If you are serious you are very incorrect

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You should make a video about problems for the killer side in DBD and post it to the forum so we can also have that perspective :)

I don't need to. Otz has already done a video that covers issues for both sides. And unlike that video if I was to make one I would be talking about both sides, since I experienced and witnessed issues on both sides

I honestly believe the Devs care more about making money then the actual quality of the game.

Why are you necrotizing a dead thread

its about the distance not the model.

when a killer can lunge for 5 meters there is actually something wrong.

if now think abou the Dedicated server advantage, the lunge distance and the hit detection aka aim assist hmmmm

    yes next.

You are complaining about freddy, who has the same lunge as every other killer in the game. Stop complaining and realize it's the model that's the issue.

    Good day sir

He did have problems on both sides, as I pointed out. Your insistence that the split be even is what is making this into a survivor vs. killer thing. It's just a guy's opinion, and we both agree he makes good points in this video. The first line of the video is even "In this video I'll be sharing five problems I have with Dead By Daylight" - he's clearly speaking for himself here, and is not attempting to make a comprehensive list. I don't know a lot about PainReliever, but even if he plays more survivor and therefore is more bothered by problems on the survivor side, so what? If his points are good, his points are good. No need for a "What about killers?"

Then he should've put the title as something different. Like 5 problems I have with DbD. Right now I think its clickbait. Although I do agree with some of his reasons, I don't agree with all of them. He said problems with the game, and last time I checked this game has 2 roles. I think if you are making a list you should state things on both sides and not only problems you face.

    Title

For the most part I am a killer main and I have no issues with BT because I remember the old version. The one that applied to both people and everyone got away. I have huge issues with DS+UB but I feel BT is a fair perk because it's literally anti tunnel, unlike another perk previously mentioned.

Either way can we change BT to work on the killer's proximity to the hook instead of being inside their TR? Some killers can control their TR. With M&A, Freddy's dream world, or some stealth killers can flat out shut off their TR. The thing I hate the most is when a Wraith hooks someone, cloaks and just never leaves. I'm not against camping or tunneling when it's beneficial to the killer's objective but even as a killer main that sort of behavior sickens me. It's why 2nd chance perks are in this game to begin with -.-

To begin saying you are a killer main doesn't make me believe it. Secondly while I do agree freddy shouldn't be able to completely ignore BT, stealth killers are already pretty crap, and if a stealth killer is camping just do the gens and escape leaving that wraith with a 1k and a depip.
