Bubba didn't even make it on the list. Feelsbadman. 😂
Damn I missed some killers, thanks for letting me know.
-
YES! Or at least give it the combat straps treatment.
Also give my boy a full add-on rework, because most of his current add-ons are way too lackluster.
-
No. I really like some of the breakable walls on that map. It can lead to some really spooky and fun mindgames.
-
How... how are you a National Socialist for slugging? Twitchies sure are something else.
-
My tier list but based on the education level of the killers (based on some assumptions + lore)

"I never even played toxic." You sure about that?
- You spawned on the same map as the clown
- You looped him
- You found a key.. TWICE!
- You played with a friend. SWF is TOXIC!
- You used DS, which, who would have guessed, is TOXIC!
I hope you understand now why he tunnelled you. Seriously though. We don't know what people think. Maybe he was just upset that you used that key to escape in the game before. Maybe because he saw a key again in your hand. We can just guess.
Wow. Looping is toxic now?

This is a message to all survivor mains out there. I don't want to argue, I have just one request. Considering how unbalanced this game is and the very little time required to do gens, tunneling is necessary and it's the most effective strategy. Give me one good reason not to tunnel, I'll wait. (No "because it's not fun" accepted, genrush isn't fun to go against too)
I prefer slugging thanks

Dont forget reddit and steam forums, all of these are pretty much dominated by killer mains.
Not quite. I am not that sure about steam forums, since I stopped visiting them about 6 months ago, but reddit is a mixed bag. Sure, when there is a killer nerf the typical reddit hivemind comes into play and the killer mains starts making their posts about how much survivors are catered by the devs etc etc, but outside of that time frame it becomes the exact opposite, I have seen some posts with a blatant survivor bias receive a considerable amount of support.

@Blueberry said:
I think you're misusing the word bias. Playing both sides equally and realizing that one side is weaker and needs more help than the other is an analysis, not bias.
Bias would be if you only played one side and had a skewed perspective because of it.
The forums are not killer bias. What it is, is that there are many people that play both sides and realize where balancing is needed. You simply disagreeing with that, does not make them bias.
Also, "but nowadays they arent that strong.".
Yes, they are. No one is arguing survivors weren't stronger in that past, but that does not mean they aren't still too strong, they are. I play both sides at rank 1 and survivor is still very much the power role and I play almost strictly solo queue.
Most people already agree both mori's and keys need reworks as well.
"I'm tired of the us vs them mentality why cant it be just "us."
This is basically how you started this post, which makes it kind of hypocritical.
Bias would be if you only played one side and had a skewed perspective because of it.
That's the problem. Many killers here (and to a lesser extent survivors) show their bias in their posts. Just look at the amount of support the posts of space coconut receive despite the massive and notorious bias they have, its absolutely ridiculous. Truth is, it's not really about them wanting balance, but an easier experience for themselves.
-
Yes, pretty much. And certain prick(s) take advantage on that.
The reason why it is that way is because survivors are more "vocal" in the post game chat. They just need to trash talk you in it to feel good, whether they lost or not. Killers are more vocal on the forums because or the butthurt cause by those matches.
-
Discordance is still better. Maybe tinkerer will be better on high pressure killers like nurse, billy and oni, maybe myers as well.
-
I dont think they are an inherently bad thing. But people can easily abuse it to gain a competitive advantage.
-
I wouldn't say killer is harder, but it can definitely more stressful. It's a 1v4 at the end of the day, and you are that 1 that has to find ways to outsmart and outplay 4 survivors.
it varies from killer to killer of course, but overall killer is usually a mentally harder experience.
-
@ Antares2332 said:
I don't believe, he was a killer with a trash mechanic
I mean, it wasnt really trash, it was just really hard to use. Maybe with some tweaks he would have been able to become a better killer without being completely reworked into the boringly strong mess he is today.
-
I find legion extremely fun to play. There are many perks that work great on them that simply can't work as good on other killers.
But spirit is way better at a competitive level of play. Get a good headset and you got half the job done
-
I have to cover my window with a bed sheet, otherwise playing on maps like the game and temple of wrath becomes near impossible
-
I think that people are refusing to use many of the new perks because they are not that game changing, but they are good regardless, they just require you to mix your playstyle
Demo perks:
- Surge is far from bad, but it has a cooldown on top of too many conditions. From my experience, in some scenarios it can come even more clutch than pop.
- Mindbreaker is bad, agreed.
- Cruel limits is bad on everyone except bubba (on some cases). Agreed.
Oni perks
- Zanshin tactics should be a free perk. It's not bad but not what you would be running in red ranks.
- Blood echo is underrated, the only thing that stops it from becoming meta its the cooldown, pair it with sloppy butcher and survivor can say bye to their exhaustion perks
- Nemesis is pretty good, agreed.
Deathslinger perks:
- Gearhead is kinda underrated, sure, it got nerfed and it relies on RNG, but it can give you some really nice info.
- Dead man's switch is also pretty underrated. I have been running it on my Oni and sometimes Demo. 30-45 seconds of survivors doing nothing can be really good. It needs to be paired with nemesis or furtive chase to be used at its full potential tho.
- Retribution is the worst hex? When third seal exists? Definitely not. In one shot killers it can be deadly if it activates at the right moment.
Pyramid Head perks:
- Forced penance is only really good on legion, but pretty underwhelming on the rest of killers. It could be fun for basement builds tho.
- Trail of torment is actually pretty decent from my experience with it. Especially good on Billy and Oni.
- Deathbound is GODLY. It's like the holy son of nurses calling and infectious. It has become an staple perk on many of my killers.

I noticed this always happens when something occurs for the first time.
- the first time the killer gains Bloodlust
- the first time the killer attacks anyone
- the first time Sloppy Butcher is applied (as killer and survivor)
- the first time getting shocked by Doctor
- pretty much every status effect / add-on
And it resets every match. So you go through the entire list every game, freezing every time.
But it happens for like a microsecond. Nothing too gamebreaking but I get why some people find it annoying.

Puking on survivors and zapping them with static blasts is a high skill cap but stalking them is low? Ok.
You're not taking into account with the likes of Myers that he starts in tier 1 with slower movement and a smaller lunge, you need to not over stalk one particular survivor so when you run into them again later you'll have nothing left? Or when to choose the right time to pop your tier 3 so you can get a down? I'd say all that takes more skill than half of the killers on that list.
With Ghostface I can see it being a lower skill cap given he can have unlimited stalk, and his reveal mechanic is broken giving him free downs.
If you think plagues puke is easy to land then you probably haven't played plague.
-
- Purposefully handicaps himself
- Brings a more than suboptimal build
- Fails half of his shots
- Does not patrol gens
- Slugs very poorly towards the end
- "I GOT GENROOSHED! THOSE OP SURVIVORS AND THEIR BROKEN MECHANICS!"
Typical tru3.
-
I hate the swamp maps. Confusing loops and poor line of sight, 2 of the things I hate the most in this game.
Haddonfield is also bad and needs to be reworked.
-
Demogorgon. Literally every other answer is incorrect.
-
I get mad, but then I remember i didn't do bones.
-
I dont like bald Nea :(

Fire Up is fine, the perk is already OP
OP? How is fire up in any way shape or form OP?
-
I was thinking of other ideas you could use for perks
- Blood Echo: Yoda and Obi-Wan feeling the death Aayla Secura
- Infectious fright: Aayla Secura, Adi-Mundi and Plo Koon screaming
- Gear Head: General Grievous replaces the skull (It would make sense with him since he was a great strategist)
- Dead Man's Switch: Boba Fett falling to his death in the Sarlacc Pit
- Retribution: Dooku about to get his head cut off
- Forced penance: Vader Choking that resistance soldier

@Todgeweiht It is. I learned it from a dev. The timer is reduced by that and things that increase healing speed if its an add-on. Use tbe green add-on that does considerably to reduce to 8 seconds.
:O Guess I will use the syringe more often now

You can hit people at that range... I recommend BBQ, I'm All Ears, Bitter Murmur, etc to help with this. :)
But I mean, 100 times!? Thats crazy, especially on console where frame rate can be really clunky.
-
@AVoiceOfReason said:
Use the scissors add-on with it reduces the time to 10 seconds. You're welcome.
Really? Is this intended?
-
I hope they consider increasing the add-on pool in the future..
-
I hope so. Otherwise it would feel pointless, I want to know if I am being matched with opponents of my skill and if I am getting better or worse.
-
They really need to give us more details about the MMR system. Just saying "it's going to check your skill" is not really insightful.
I like the idea of it pairing you with survivors according to your skill level with each killer tho. Finally my boy Demo will see some worthwhile opponents.

Hello everyone!
just to let you know we've entered the issue in our database and the devs are aware.
for now I have no idea of when this will be pushed but I thought I'll let you know that info.
Thanks!Bruh. 2 years and it still hasn't changed.

Currently rank 2 killer and rank 4 survivor
Killer queues take long during the day and are way shorter during the night, and vice versa, survivor queues take long during the night and are way shorter during the day.
-
Killer - Blood Echo is just nasty. if it didn't have such an annoying unnecessary cooldown it would be meta 100%
There is also iron maiden, i feel people underestimate it too much, it can give you tracking and some occasional downs in the most unexpected moments
Survivor - Mettle of Man. After you learn how to properly use it, its just as good as the old one.

if you are experienced killer its very easy to know if someone is a swf just by seeing how coordinated they are
A team can be coordinated and not in an SWF. Obviously, if there is an OoO in the team its safe to assume they are on a SWF.

All the gen slowdown perks suck pretty badly atm. The only good one used to be hex:ruin, but since that got nerfed into dust, PGTW became the next best. Its not that good in itself and only regresses a gen 20 seconds worth of 1 survivor's repairs.
The only thing that really matters when it comes to winning a game is keeping survivors off gens by hooking people and tunneling the hell out of the person who comes to unhook them. So basically 3 are off gens for every time you hook someone.
Thats basically how you win games in DBD atm against good survivors.
Lmao no, Ruin always was placebo and was outclassed by PGTW even way before it was nerfed

Recently my ps4pro experience was just horrible and unfun to play. Just wanted to share it and ask how yours has been?
so yesterday evening trying to play from 11pm european time... it took me always 10-15 min to find a survivor game and when i found one, the killer was a bot! This 3 times a row... so i switched to killer and found games immediately, but the game was lagging so much (as well on survivor side) that it was unfun to play :-( i really love the game but this ruins the whole thing. Hope it will be soon better..
how is your experience on ps4? Am i the only one having this?
What do you mean the killer was a bot? There are no AI players in this game (yet)
-
If you only played twice dont expect to be automatically good with him. Oni is not one of those killers you just pick and become masters with.
-
I have a question for those that played the PTB, does Apex muffler also silence the sounds made by the chainsaw for the killer?
-
How do you know they are SWF?
-
Possibly plague, both to play and to verse
When I play plague her vomit feels unbelivably clunky
When I play against plague its either cleanse which will enables her lethal puke or not cleanse which gives her a free insta down on me. And I don't like neither of my choices.

You know with add-ons you can get it to 2 seconds right? Having ~3 second reloads with ether 15% + bleach gas would be insane. Clown is already one of the best killers for anti-looping; he just has no map pressure and usually relies on tunneling someone off early at red ranks. Alot of the top clowns stream and you can watch some of these guys slay at rank 1 with him on a daily basis.

How is this website called?
-
Killers should have specific emotes
To name a few
- Pig: Checks the timer on a reverse bear trap.
- Clown: Takes out a finger from his pouch and licks it
- Ghostface: Checks his camera.

I'll be playing without it since console optimization is an actual joke. I don't know how they think it's a good idea to go ahead and implement crossplay when the game runs this poorly.
Probably the upcoming graphics update will make framerate better, but we will have to wait and see.

What's the combo that makes frenzy lethal?
Enduring + Spirit Fury. Hit a survivor with frenzy just as he is about to drop the pallet, get stunned and now you have an easy down.

I can agree on the looping part killer need to learn how to counter that too. But survivor dont need to know when to do a save they have BT and DS that make them skip that learning phase
Fair point, although, if they just go and unhook their teammates and they dont have BT or DS then they are screwing over their teammates.
-
Survivors have to learn how to properly loop around tiles, resource management (when to use pallets), when is a proper time to rescue teammates, when should they stick to gens or do others tasks, and other things depending on which killer they face.
Saying survivor requires no skill is disingenuous to say the least, obviously it's not going to be as hard as learning how to properly play nurse or trapper, but it has its skill gap.
