  • I am having this same issue

I already own DBD on steam but i havent played it because my current computer is a potato when it come to games but soon i will get a new one

I am afraid to ruin the experience for rank 20 players since they havent gotten a good grip on the game and it would just be damn unfair

  • DARN i didnt know the event had finished ;_;

I currently have 6 on Ghost Boi, 2 on legion and nurse and 1 on spirit

  • I have been actually using the perk a lot recently and its still hella good, but at the same time hella buggy, i have literally taken hit right next to my companions and it still doesnt register it

The devs have no interest in fixing they deem broken and unfair to play against, just look at the visual bug nurse has when blinking that hasnt been fixed since her release

  • I once dreamed mars was gonna collide with the earth

  • bubba then proceded to facecamp him

  • Fine maybe, fair not so much

What am i supposed to do against a bubba that downs me within the first to minutes of the game and then proceeds to basement camp me?

Not that they arent allowed to be used, but i feel they are pretty scummy and ruin the gameplay experience for a lot of people

guess i am wrong because i said something that isnt killer friendly

I'll address some of the concerns from this post https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/553362/#Comment_553362:

    • No need to remove the ability to see pools of blood

Now when you trigger FF, you had better know where your quarry is. It's less likely when using it for traversal that you'll stumble across a random Survivor. This allowed us to give it more duration and distance.

    • No need to reduce their feral frenzy speed

We reduced the speed so we could increase the duration. One FF now covers 50m instead of ~32m. That makes Killer Instinct more useful.

    • No need to reduce their vaulting speed

This was part of introducing counterplay. Vaults are one of the Survivors' few tools for escape.

    • No need to not let them see the progress of deep wounds

Deep wound going down or not became an indicator for whether the Survivor in question was inside your TR or not. That was deemed too much information to give to the killer.

Thanks for the answer, but i still strongly disagree with the decisions you made

    • Now when you trigger FF, you had better know where your quarry is. It's less likely when using it for traversal that you'll stumble across a random Survivor. This allowed us to give it more duration and distance.

Duration and distance for who? The survivors? come on, the moonwalk exploit is no more, this would be very useful to be able to track surviors on those pesky corn maps, where legion really struggles

    • We reduced the speed so we could increase the duration. One FF now covers 50m instead of ~32m. That makes Killer Instinct more useful.

Survivors arent stupid, they start running the oposite direction once they know your killer instinct has revealed them, higher speed gave survivors less reaction time and helped putting tons of pressure over them

distance means nothing if there is no way to reach it fastly

But well, you also "reworked" the speed add-ons

    • This was part of introducing counterplay. Vaults are one of the Survivors' few tools for escape.

Would be a good answer if legion had no counterplay, problem is he has, he is too easy to juke and his power has little to no lethality, which makes this nerf even more ridiculous

    • Deep wound going down or not became an indicator for whether the Survivor in question was inside your TR or not. That was deemed too much information to give to the killer.

My problem here is the deep wound timer wont go down if the survivor is mending and legion has a big enough TR, this would not only be very useful to legion, it would also have considerable counterplay

And one last thing i forgot to add in my original post

    • No need to make the stun worse

This was really dumb, you should have reworked the stun add-ons if you wanted to keep it balanced, not the speed ones

  • The Exhaustion nerf, the reduction of pallets, removal of the pallet vacuum, D Strike/MoM nerf, killer sided maps like The Game, the changes no vault speeds, a perk that literally breaks pallets instantly, all the exploits like the Legion's moonwalking that took months to patch. I could go on.

    Are you even trying?

    Bostezo.jpg

  • Its not good but its definetely fun when combined with other perks

Here are my list of FUN synergies for the perk

Rancor: Makes the survivors sweat and reconsider if they should really go for that unhook after the gates are finished, very fun against SWF

STBFL: This combo is pretty trash yet somewhat fun, allows you to focus on other survivors instead of ignoring the obsession

M&A: Removes the extra 8 meters of TR when in chase, works wonders on jumpscare Myers

@Theluckyboi make a second account called TheUnluckyboi and post the image. They'll never expect it >:D

    GENIUS!

  • I dont understand it guys ;_;

(i would post an image i like but i could get banned by posting it because the mods may think i am being mean to you while in reality i was being mean to me)

  • Here are some perk ideas i had for a risk/reward survivor i had some time ago

    ON THE WATCH

You are affected by the Exposed Status Effect for the duration of the Trial. You always take a bullet for the people you care, and that intervenes in the purposes of your enemies.

    • you perform altruistic actions such as healing and rescuing people from hooks 50% faster
    • you gain a small speed burst after unhooking someone
    • if you are the obsession, you can Instantly heal others for one Health State on secondary action/Instantly heal others for one Health State on secondary action/Instantly and completely heal others on secondary action once per trial and your aura will be revealed to the killer for 6 seconds after a generator is repaired

Increases your chance to be the Killer's Obsession.

    BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS

You have been in worse situations, you teach your buddies how to remain calm and work more efficiently, the less the better

    • When there are only 3 survivors left everyone recovers from exhaustion 10%/15%/20% faster and repair generators 10% faster
    • When there are only 2 survivors left everyone gets a 5% bonus to movement speed and the stun from pallets is 1/2/3 seconds longer
    • When you are the only survivor left on the trial you will get 10% bonus to movement speed and the hatch will be highlighted to you and the killer

The effects of this perk WONT STACK and will remain as long as you are alive

    STUBBORN

Your experience fighting against superior enemies allows you to fight them back.

    • Press the Active Ability button while running to charge towards the killer and stun them, causing you to get injured
    • You cannot use Stubborn while you are injured
    • You can use stubborn to stun the killer while he is carrying a survivor, but this will injure you to dying state

    Causes exhaustion for 120/90/60 seconds

  • What they did to legion wasnt a nerf, it was a punishment for those who exploited them

The deep wounds rework and no more lunging was just enough to balance Legion, instead, they saturated with unnecessary nerfs

    • No need to remove the ability to see pools of blood
    • No need to reduce their feral frenzy speed
    • No need to reduce their vaulting speed
    • No need to not let them see the progress of deep wounds

With that said i hope BHVR revisits legion in the future because they are in a severe need for buffs

  • I think this goes on fan creations

Some pics i took for the moonrise screenshot event

  • O yes, such constructive feedback!

    Bostezar.jpg

  • Can we have Skeleton Face added into the game? if it is a rare cosmetic i will buy it no doubt

    Skeletonface.jpg

  • Ghost Face: Because it just feel so good to get that hit on a marked survivor, he is so much fun to play as and is quite versatile

Wraith: I have my most fun build on him (bamboozle, enduring/brutal strenght, spirit fury and STBFL+uncloak when destroying pallets)

Nurse: Because damn she fun to play as, i will admit the range add-ons and extra blinks are overpowered bullshit

Legion: He just doesnt feel the same, the nerfs felt more like a punishment to legion players that abused the exploits, many of them were quite unnecessary like the vaulting speed nerf (now i have to run Bamboozle or else it feels to slow), despite everything i still play them from time to time but not as much as before

  • How hard is it to let us adjust the volume?

  • I want crossplay not because of playing with new players but because i want to keep my PS4 progress on my PC as well when i get to buy DBD

  • @toxicmegg which unbalanced perks? i literally cant think of a single perk that could be considered "imbalanced" nowadays

  • @toxicmegg said:

i think survivor side is pretty much dying already, i know lots of people who have quit and even i don't enjoy this game much anymore. DBD has been killer sided for a very long time and survivors are usually just too weak without SWF. im gonna enjoy this more when they nerf spirit and buff legion and give survivors better perks

Sounds to me you are just mad because killers wont let you walk out of the exit gate effortlessly

  • Do you have any plans to buff Leather Face? Which killer you plan on reworking after freddy?

  • .......when The Pig and Michael Myers got a little frisky, The Ghost Face was then born!
    https://youtu.be/zejte1xSZKI?t=36

I dont think puting a RBT over a mask would actually work...

  • @Gcarrara said:

Yeah, i do see claudetteless lobbies. Especially in the latest weeks it looks to me they decreased. 🙂

cough cough¨ camo nerf cough cough

  • To be honest unrelenting needs to go back to its original state, 5%/10%/15% of reduced cooldown for attacks are fair numbers considering the machine gun build is no longer a thing and the rework for STBFL is pretty balanced

    Old unrelenting.PNG

  • My theory is that Vigo doesnt exist but was mere bait from the entity to confuse and prevent Benedict Baker from discovering its secrets

At the end it worked (hallowed blight event) and the entity finally managed to lure Benedict into its claws and begin his transformation as a killer

y'know. you've just answered your own question. Taller means longer right? what runs faster if you're taller? Your legs. I think its logical that Legion only runs a tad bit faster than surv's do, seeing as hes just another human thats merely gotten used to running.

You are either dodging your ban or love to necro threads

  • Oh i am so triggered right now, i am fuming because you showed me this chart released 2 months ago, oh no i am angry, furious

    Can you go now?

  • @ATOMIC_ACE_PUGG said:

    The gates are fine

Disagreed, they need a minimum/maximum distance of spawn because it is either hell for survivors or hell for killers

lol it is designed for 4+ players even wihout development, just check the bug videos of 4 killers vs 2 survs and so on

Its different when there are 8 survivors, the bug videos showed 3 vs 2

  • Wow, great feedback

  • Problem is they cant at the moment

Im not pretty sure of how it works but basically 8v2 mode would make the ping go nuts since DBD is not designed to support that amount of players

Once dedicated servers come into play it may be a possibility

  • Well, the one playing Jake was pretty humble ill give him that

On the other hand, that Claudette, damn she salty

  • This belongs on fan content

  • That curious, because i am having the exact opposite issue, once the fast vault animation starts the survivors gain invincibility or something like that because my hit simply doesnt land

Perhaps the killer had poor latency? I dont know, still i think that is bullshit and needs to be fixed

  • Problem is, SWF is an important part of the game you like it or not, they are one of the thing that keep this game alive because to many suvivor mains solo has become either unplayable or way too boring

In my opinion the solution is not punishing SWF but encouraging solo gameplay by adding more interesting mechanics for them, say for example, secondary objectives.

I mean, just accept them, if they insist on tryharding and bringing flashlights and insta-heals just dodge them or equip your most toxic build to counter them back. Adapting wont hurt anybody.

  • What did i even say? there is no need to get mad

  • @DocOctober said:

I don't understand why anyone would buy him at this point, you guys are basically telling the devs that nerfing a Killer that the community deemed mediocre right after release is OK.

    Thats, like, your opinion bro

  • They should make him immune to detection perks, make his add-ons more interesting (i honestly dont even know what the perfume one does) and add some kind of map pressure, because he really needs some

Perhaps if the devs listened to those "poor killers" Red ranks wouldn't have to deal with Nurse and Billy EVERY game. Ruin is a joke at red ranks. Survivors' perks outclass Killer's perks in every way. To offer a rebuttal, killers love it when Survivors bring toolboxes with BNP. They love it when they bring instant heals and t-bag at pallet loops. They love that by the time they get a down Ruin is gone and two gens are done. They love being endlessly run around loops. Poor poor Survivors, how could they have ever gotten away with only 5 second chance perks. How could they survive without Mettle of Man and Decisive Strike? What were the devs thinking? Poor poor Survivors, Haddonfield's rework is next...

Lets be honest here, the only perks survivors have to gain a great advantage during the chase are the exhaustion perks, on the other hand killers have a lot of perks they can rely on for builds

I really doubt survivor perks outclass those of the killers, DS and MoM got reworked and the only perk you could consider to be actually broken is adrenaline

  • They already have that information, i honestly dont know why dont they release it already

    Some transparency wont hurt anybody

  • I personally like Ghost Boi way more than Myers, a few buffs and fixes and you bet he could easily be top tier.

Overall i have to admit Myers is more viable at higher ranks, but damn is ghostface way more fun than he is.

  • Considering the game is no longer scary i consider that intro to be innapropiate, they should change it into some kind of chase scene with the survivors cooperating to escape

  • AHAHAHAA.png

    This should teach them

1 … 4 5 6 7 8 … 20
