Even if I wanted to, any killer will just go look for the hatch and close it to trigger end-game.
-
No...
My point is that the perk should tell you before that. If not this serves no purpose in a team scenario.
Also, since the hatch spawn even if you did no gens qhy would I work on gen after everyone's dead ?

But that's only halfway, what would be the advantage? This would actually get Survivors working Gens together, ''oh that Gen is 50% I should get over there and team up''. If it's at 75% it's almost done and more for finishing the Gen when no one else is, that way you know to get over there in case it got kicked. Your version is like a reverse Discordance which sounds scary lol
That's what I'm saying.
Idk if it's just weirdly written but the way I read your perk it doesn't trigger before 75%...

I'm done fighting with which ever mod is flagging my comments for no reason.
They are stalk variants "."

@TheUnendingNightmare I'm pretty sure those weren't listed as status effects before and I heard the devs were talking about doing something for stealth killers. Also Oblivious isn't the Pig and GhostFace's power. It's a survivor status effect as it says the SURVIVOR doesn't know that they're in the terror radius, not that the killer hides their terror radius. Also, the Cursed status effect is definitely new. There's no hex perk with a secret penalty to survivors that they suffer while a totem is lit. They're all shown to the survivor. Also might mention Oblivious says nothing about hiding the red stain, and GF and Pig both hide their red stain.
It isn't.
Those are both stalking variant.
Basically one make the killer undectable and the other make the survivor deaf to their audio queue.
It's literally in the name. Seeing it now it explains why aura reading perks still work on the Pig and Ghostface.
-
Not bad but I feel you think this would be OP but you should reduce a bit the amount and start at 40%-50%.
As a killer main I wouldn't be mad about a perk like that.
-
You seem to have good ideas but I'm going to be honest...
I think you wrote the first paragraphe twice and aside from that it is VERY confusing. I'm still not sure what the Killer does except that at some point you puke a larva and cross a portal.
You should try to organize the text like ex;
(Name)
Perks;
1-
2-
3-
Status;
1-
World State;
1-
2-
You have a lot of good ideas and I just feel they are lost in the ocean of your thoughts rn.
-
I would put an additional effect on it so it can be a good team perk too. Something like; "can see the aura of a survivor who start working on a generator for 2s/3s/4s" or something
-
Imo what hurts those kind of perks is the fact there's no mic chat, so I can't warn anyone un random matches.
Although, SWF is amazing. My friends call me "the medium" lol

@TheUnendingNightmare I just checked my PS4 and it has them on mine as well. Go into tutorials>The Game>Status Effects List. It has Undetectable and Oblivious with some code for an image but the image doesn't show in front of the name of the status effect. Then it has a description:
Undetectable: The killer enters a stealth-like mode which suppresses their red stain and terror radius, and blocks all survivor aura-reading abilities.
Oblivious: The Survivor is oblivious to the imminent danger of a nearby killer. They do not hear The Killer's terror radius and they are not considered as being within the terror radius for power or perk effects.
Cursed(this one has an image): The Survivor suffers a secret penalty related to a Hex Totem, cleansing the Hex Totem releases the curse.
OH THOSE!
Undetectable is used only for Myers during his strong stalk mode. It IS scary bc even premonition and spine chill don't trigger.
Oblivious is complet trash imo. It is the stalk the Pig and Ghost face use. Premonition and spine chill completly destroy that weak stalk mode and aura reading perks still work.

I play PS4 as well. What you described is exactly what it is like. Another reason I hate red rank.
I never made it to red ranks tbh but if it is anything like purple and green, this sucks.
I really like being in bronze with everyone bc (like ppl mentionned above) you get more types of killers, survivors, builds, etc.
Even some you probably would have never thought about!
I'm currently 12 and raising (didn't have time with school) and already I get lvl 5 to 8 survivors and ######### is already hitting the fan.
Not as a killer but as a survivor which shouldn't be.
-
Ridiculous, it's like if someone was complaining about tunneling...oh wait...

Here on console I find that the higher rank survivors seem to be stupider than the lower ranks.
I don't like to trash consoles bc I use a PS4 but this is so true. The higher I go, the worst survivors become: much more selfish, selfentitled, trolls and even toxic.
At least at lower ranks even if ppl suck at least most of the time they are genuinly trying *as a team* to escape. Higher-ups are there so *they* survive ######### everyone else. It's even worst since the new hatch mechanic!

@csandman1977 said:
Yes protection at first, then if they cleanse lets say ruin. If theres a dull totem on map, then ruin would go to it. But only once per trial
Not bad I like it.
Although, survivors hate anything good for the killers.

@Atrushan88 said:
@TheUnendingNightmare There was actually a screenshot. I believe someone had it appear on their tutorial on PS4 or something under the status effects tab. One was called Oblivious, and the other was....I forget, Undetectable maybe?
I've seen a lot of fake screenshot in my gaming experience lol. I'm not saying it isn't true tho just that I'll believe it once this is live.

There was a leak of 2 Statuses. 1 was a state in which the Killer has no TR, or Red stain and can't be seen by aura reading. The other was a Survivor debuff that makes them unable to hear the TR. We have 0 confirmation on what these are specifically for, however the 1st one is probably going on stealth Killers in their stealth mode.
Well since it's only whispers I won't take it seriously before awhile tbh
-
Btw ppl keep saying head-on is op but as a killer main...you keep using that trash perk...
I see you jump on the locker...wait 3s and then go get you...simple...

Oh come on, I understand red syringes are op, but sprint burst, DH and all the exhaustion perks are completely fine, they're not op (maybe head on)
That wasn't my point, not even saying those are OP.
I'm saying with all those different escape tools, you still want more ?
Like, do you know how frustrating to be on someone more than 5 mins ?
4 pallets later get them injured, then once they've used dead hard...Claudette come around to insta heal ?
Then it's back at it again...just to have Meg come around to insta heal...did I mentionned they all have borrowed time, dead hard and decisive strike ?
In that scenario how am I suppose to win without using killers that can instantly down ppl ?
-
@Atrushan88 said:
@TheUnendingNightmare They've brightened survivors clothing recently, and soon they're going to be making stealth killers unable to be seen by any aura reading. The only aura reading perks(to see killers anyways) for survivors that are good are Alert and OoO, and one has a drawback. Once stealth killers get immunity to aura reading, then no one's gonna run aura reading anymore in case they get a perk that's quite literally worthless.
I haven't heard anything about such a nerf. Can you link the info ?
Although, I use premonition so idc much.
Also, my point was that most ppl don't know how to sneak and start juking. Not that the game doesn't allow or reward being stealthy.
To all my immersed players, nothing better than to see the surprise in a killer's movement paterns when they see you for the first time of the game at the exit gate. XD
-
Jukers just don't want to even try to be stealthy and will let you know if they think you are being too stealthy.
"Noob hidding on corner"
Was a message I received after solo completing 4 gens. By a juker who kept leading the killer to survivors.
Like being good at juking is a nice skill but you shouldn't get angry bc ppl are good at sneaking around. I have to get better at jukes and loops whilst you should ger better at sneaking around.

@immortalls96 It's not really COUNTERED by camping. It's just a bad call if you ARE camping. Think of it like Borrowed Time, you don't know they have it, so you can just play however you would normally. If you get hit with it then oh well. It just makes it harder for those that would want to camp without being right in your face(because a lot of killers that are up in green ranks tend to do this. They'll stay right out of MYC range, wait for the unhook, then rush over, down the person unhooked, then chase the one who unhooked). It's more of a counter to an advanced form of camping.
@NuclearBurrito I honestly doubt they'll give survivors anything for stealth. It seems like they'd prefer killers be more stealthy than survivors as their more recent rounds of nerfs to survivors have been to their stealth. It seems like they want to force looping.
I disagree with that.
Most of the aura reading and sensing perks are amazing. Problem is always one of your teammates bringing the killer to you by running bonds.
-
So you would reward camping ?
Bc that seem to be the counter. I camp around with insidious.

This would make every Killer as strong as the nurse. The nurse is an extraordinary killer to play and it´s hard to LTP her. As a Killer Main I have to say... no way... you´d have only OP Killers. I like to have my challenges in a match and all those people who LTP the Nurse - thy deserve to have a T1 Killer... so No.
Last time I met an actually good Nurse was 2 years ago...
She CAN be strong but tbh ...
-
If he wasn't camping all the time maybe he'd get some...xD
-
Like can we instead talk about: insta heals ? Dead hard ? Man's mettle ? Decisive strike ? Lithe ? Sprint burst ? Flashlights ?
What more do you want ? Lol

I think in certain situations there is a difference between letting an easy kill go and tunnelling
Not really...
Also, most of the time I receive "noob tunneler" I wasn't even.
You have to think most of the time killers are simply following the scratch marks. If I could find you following scratches from the hook, it's your fault for not bringing urban evasion / lightweight / deliverance.

It ABSOLUTELY effects the icons at the bottom.
It HAS to otherwise there would be no point!
Why even bother having the effect if you're going to just give them the information anyway.
That wouldn't be helpful, just slightly annoying.
I'm against it then. Why would I be punished bc I managed to hook someone ?
You literally have DH, DS, MM and D to skip damage, get off me or the hook...yet you want more ?
-
Tunnelers ... Killer equivalent of loopers...
Will you stop looping ? No ? Then why should I let my easy kill run away ?
-
Even then torture means to inflict pain upon someone not to kill them. Again Beats the purpose of it.
-
If you want BP then yes as a killer but no as a survivor.
Getting easier survivors is a great way to get easy chase points and such.
As a survivor this mean anything you'll do Will be harder bc of bad teammates.
Although, I met some terrible teammates who were rank 5 so.... -_(G_G)_-

Ok , this is the case, but why fixing a thing that actually makes the perk better?
Bc it beats the purpose of the perk ?
You're suppose to "Play with your food". If you down them it's basically like you just ate your food.
Kind of a bad comparison but I'm sure you get it.

No, they fixed PWYF so you lose a stack if you down the obsession. However, it's still a great perk to use on Bubba. Thanks for giving me an excuse to rewatch an Otz video btw

There you go one more nerf without real consequences.

I just wanted to know if this build still works or not 😒
Idk why the attitude when you literally explained nothing.
"Does this still work ? *Post a 10mins long video*"
There's a lot happening in that video.
Anyways yes it works but tbh you should use perks and add-on that works with you. Depending on your playstyle certain builds may be harder to use.

Except it's not showing off the demogorgans sense of smell from extreme distance so I'm kinda iffy on it.
How about the ability to track smell instead of scratch marks ?
Like the exact same mechanic but showing glowy vapor instead.
-
I hope they'll include a portal to the upside down.
-
What exactly ? Yes this killer is still OP in the right hands.

The demand for sustenance fills the Entity with a primal need.
For every survivor still alive, gain a token. Each token decreases the time on hook by 1/2/3% up to a maximum of 12%.
When a survivor is sacrificed, the hook is not broken.
12% seems like alot, but as people die the perk does get a bit worse so I'm thinking it's ok.
Tbh you could completly take away the decrease time on hook and it would still be great since it wouldn't destroy the hook.
Nice perk
-
I made a Xenomorph Killer idea now that we have a creature model in-game.
-
Not against it (I'm a killer main) as long as it doesn't affect the icons at the bottom. Rewarding killers that are paying attention to their hud.
-
Not bad but who's the survivor ?
Do the sisters have their eyes closed or opened ?
Also, I would find it much more interesting if the sisters were left in a vegetative state in the real world and implies their souls are stuck in the nightmare.
-
Really good idea and a lot of ppl including me would like it BUT it seems the devs aren't really on-board with it.
Maybe it would be too hard or something idk.
-
Well I stand by my comment but your ideas are really good and the devs could definetly work with them!
-
Doesn't hope just activate end game ? And for 120s ?
-
Not a bad idea but tbh as a Freddy main (even before rework) dream pallets are already super OP so idk if adding better status effect to dream snares would make it a bit too hard on survivors.
To all my Freddy mains: survivors butt dancing near a pallet is extremly enjoyable now right ! XD
-
Great ideas although...the faster speed plus longer stuns seems REALLY OP when you think of some big loops.
-
Not sure what it does ? It protects your totems at the beggining but what does it do after ? Just the cleansing reduction ?

The ability to throw their weapon and teleport to it while it's in the air... when it gets to max range the killer automatically teleports to the weapon....
Thoughts, comments, concerns?
Great idea, I could see this as an add-on for the huntress or as a power for a New Killer!
Although, not a perk bc some killers like the Hag or Freddy don't really have a weapon to throw... although seeing the Hag throw her arm could be funny!
