...Just slow the gens down and buff gen regression where it will be double it's old speed and every kick will remove 5% of its total progression. It would fix gen rushing and gen tapping.

Hmmmm not bad, especially the perk changes.

The fact that the killers are beyond over powered makes the game not worth continuing. The soul fact players enjoy the is for the soul chance to put Witt thekiller but theymake it damn near impossible. There is no real challenge for the killer to kill the I wanna say survivors but it’s more victims due to It’s almost a sure fact your going to lose in some horrible way. Also the main complaint is their speed, anyone who is anyone have seen the actual movies they portray & never have they been that fast so why make them that way in the game. A lot of killers are complaining that that people can communicate or are being flagged on Xbox/PlayStation games ending up with them having penities on their account but it’s going to continue if the killers don’t get nerfed even a bit especially their speed or make it the killers can’t break the borers, or they don’t get as many perks to find survivors. Make the field level.
Before any of you killers say anything you guys get perks to see were surviors are, you all get a speed boost, you guys get to see claw marks if we’re we run & you all are complaining about people actually wanting a fair chance. Buck up butter cups you all need to back off the survivors who want to enjoy a fair match I really think you guys should be nerfed on speed make it fair cause you all can make it around the map before a generator is even closed to being started.
you also know where all the generators are which is grossly unfair you should only be able to see it when someone makes a mistakes. That would be fair. So before you say I’m a whining ass survivor. I can say all this cause I’ve played almost all the killers as well & find it hooking people almost not even a challenger it makes the game boring for me as a killer. I want a challeng. They could make it fair since killers have a weapon & are apparently able to fix generators why can’t we make weapons to stun the killer for a good amount of time. Or make them snuggles like people do in the horror movies. I mean it’s what they are basing their game on right.
Give the survivors a real speed boost. It wouldn’t hurt the killers or take away the scratches away of a hurt survivor make it a fair chance to put a fair play on the actually game cause yes it would be 10x more fun killers will stop being reported & survivors will wanna game more.
this game isnt supposed to be catered to survivors, the killer is supposed to be op but balanced in a way to where its not impossible, dont like it, too bad, we don't need anyone with your dumbass mentality.

True, that does seem broken.

So let me get this straight:
A Killer with nearly no Terror radius wich negates spotting perks, and the ability to negate stealth if just one Pixel of the survivor is not behind a wall, combined with an insta-down wich can be either extremely long (7 minutes total) or infinite with add-ons is one of the weaker killers, a "Trapper without traps?" Oh, I forgot his fast-vaulting.
Wow, then i am the best player of all times, as i have little trouble facing a trapper. In opposite, the trapper is imo one of the best balanced killers in game. He is strong (as killers need to be) but not overwhelming. Ok, some add-ons are totally game-breaking, but that's the case with every killer and another topic.Damn, I'd love to play against those MMs you are always referring to. I just had a game where I made the big mistake not to leave... The first survivor did a good job, it took MM 30 seconds to get to stage 2 - that is the longest time i ever same someone keeping MM from reaching it. Where are those great survivors everyone keeps talking about here?
An easy solution would be more ranks. So godly killers can play godly survivors and vise versa. I, as a noob with no knowledge of the game, can play noob MMs wich are not able to stalk and i stop complaining - hey, that's what i call win-win. In the current state, the Ranks start at Idiot-Beginner and just go to average-GOD. So i, as an average T1 player seem to always get the godly michaels and hillbillies and of course i loose interest in the game because this is annoying as f**k.
More ranks, and i would hopefully not be rank 1 anymore. To be honest, I'd love to be stuck at rank 20 to level up first, but ranking up is somehow way to easy since the emblems were introduced.Back to One-hit Myers: As long as the team does not communicate via TS and consists of somewhat decent players, he is totally broken. If you happen to play with great players, or even better, play SWF with good players and communicate during the game, he is easily beatable. So, however this turns out, he is either way too strong or too weak, but not a balanced middle.
As i mentioned, just look at the queue times for killers, there is a lack of survivors right now, and even if the reason is that survivors are whiny kids, the whining killers should accept that some buffs for the survivors would fix this issue, as more ppl would play as a survivor. The difficult thing is to find the balance between strong, but not totally OP killers, and competetive survivors. Make one side too strong and the other side wo'nt want to play. It happened with killers, now it happens with survivors.
Finally fixing the issues with MM in whatever way would be a huge leap forward.more ranks wouldn't really fix the problem as there's no point to ranking up because there's no reward for it, I am in the red ranks and let me tell you...it's not really fulfilling due to there being no reward for it. Plus, comparing to playing myer's with survive with friend's team and just randoms is not a justified arguement for him being broken. That's literally how games with SWF teams go for all killers. Also...your definition of OP more to me feels like broken, a killer is supposed to be op, but be balanced in a way where they're strong as hell, but not impossible. Buffing Survivors is not the way to go in asymmetrical horror games because you're suppose to be against a powerful force, now devs are focused more on actual balance changes instead of focused buffs and nerfs, they're getting better at it now.

You guys ruined the game with the healing changes. Every game I play the killer tunnels the unhooked person because it is guaranteed easy target even with well make it level 3 they will still be injured. Half the games I play in the guy who gets hooked first is tunneled than rehooked than doesn't struggle so he dies. Making it a 3vs1 before 5 minutes pass. This is not fun at all. I know you guys are trying to balance swf but you buffed camping/tunneling and are slowly destroying this game.....OK dude, those were always strategies in the game before the healing nerfs, unless you have actuall balance suggestions, don't use this to complain.

I'd say make it where only tier 3 is unlimited and extend the timers on the first 2 tiers to T1:30 and T2:60 would be a great balance change for it.

Let's just stop screaming about perk changes where isn't needed
Thanks for your answer, but i don't think what you said it's true.
You said that rancor is a mix of bitter murmur and mori,
well no
1)Yes, you can kill someone, but only the obsession and only in the end of the match (if you reach to catch him).
2)Yes, you can see survivors when the last gen is fixed, but for only 3 seconds, and try to see carefully everyone position in 3 seconds if you're in a chase.
But i think i've already said these things before.
I'd like to know in which good build do you use it, because at the moment i don't see any.
And last thing to say, there are some perks that extremely need a buff, as Overwhelming presence, Left behind, Pharmacy, Vigil, Surveillance (I could continue all day). Do not say that you use or have seen someone using them, because it's nearly impossible, and even if someone uses them, honestly I don't think it's an high rank player.
So yes, i scream and I'll scream until these perks are going to be as useful as the others.
No ######### sherlock
You just described the perk, have a tracking part but worse than bitter murmur and a integrated morning but worse than an ebony
Ofc its like this or it would become op. You choose that so you can have some benefit of those two saving a slot, not so difficult to understand
Overwhelming Presence, the worse example since in some builds you actually use it. The others? OFC some needs buffs, like the ones they did with leader streetwise ironwill etc. I would love to see some buffs on these too especially stealth perks but rancor isn't one of these
Its a fine perk, not op, designed to counter DS and adapt on some game styles that involve ignore one guy or focus others. Like remember me for example, its meant to be used with a plan ahead
Some need buffs? Sure like others need needs but just wait, with the last patch I saw great improvement in balancing. They are thinking the same, you're not the only one who thinks some perk need some tweaks, as said look the last patch
.....it doesn't counter DS till the gates are powered, that doesn't count as counter, but using it with Remember Me is a nasty combo. Rancor does not counter DS, it only does in one situation, and by that time, the obsession probably would of used it by now. Also we're talking about a killer perk, not survivor perks, stick to that for the arguement.

Actually, Rancor isn't really the best tracking perk, unlike bitter murmur, it shows the survivors like if they went up a madness tier...that's not too useful. Sure it has its uses, but it's not really the best perk when there are so many others you could use.
Did I say was a good tracking perk? No
When you mix a perk you won't make a better perk of those 2 things. It MUST be worse than bitter murmur as tracking perk and worse than an ebony morning or it would be openI know its hard to understand but its the basic of balance do you won't make a op sht but a decent option. Take something that do both but worse to save slots
You're forgetting something though, a killer has 4 perk slots going against 16, making it where it was a better tracking perk isn't broken. It would not make the perk broken for 2 reasons,
1:The obsession can see your aura everytime a gen is completed, the reason it shows the auras like the doctor's madness is because apparently survivor's auras don't show up while phase walking, which is very dumb since you can't really see survivors in phase walk and only seeing their actual aura for a few seconds would not fully give them away due to needing to pay heavy attention to the scratch marks and sound cues to find a survivors location.
2:You can only kill your obsession when the gates were powered, the arguement to make it worse than an ebony mori and bitter murmur made no sense as only being able to mori your obsession is fine. Never said it had to better than that. Also, you can counter perks like bitter murmur by changing directions once the aura timer expires. Making it so the spirit could see aura's in phase walk wouldn't be a bad change. Also...killer's are going against 4 survivors, they are supposed to be op but balanced in a way to where they aren't impossible. -

The best way to use it is to fill the meter to 99% and activate it when you are directly behind a survivor.yeah but you are forgetting about the 9% movement speed debuff Judith's Tombstone gives you, that makes it extremely difficult to catch up with someone since that makes myer's slower than the huntress, hag, or spirit, I shouldn't have to fully rely on play with your food to do this in chases.
-
@akbays35 said:
this would buff camping and tunneling though... why not just wait a half a second to hit an unhooked survivor?the invincibilty frames for being unhooked are fine, plus there are times where despite being in grabbing distance, the unhooking still happened and you only hit them cause they already were pulling them off the hook, but the hooked survivor's feet hit didn't hit the ground yet. Plus, unhooking someone when injured and gettting down usually means the killer will just slug both of you. Preventing that strategy would ease one method of slugging, plus, if the killer is camping at the beginning of the game....they're really stupid.
-
I'd say a tiny rework is needed for play with your food. Requiring it for addons seems a bit restrictive for my liking. Plus, myer's obsession perks contradict one another.SpacingLlamas said:@TheMadDoctor said:
Judith's Tombstone is bad, while it is nice it doesn't instantly put you back into evil within 3 when you use the kill, it's movement speed debuff is so bad it actually isn't recommended to use it unless you have play with your food...which in my opinion is such a finicky perk and there are times where even though you are in hitting range, the tombstone thing doesn't work. All I ask is for either the 9% movement speed debuff to be lessened to a more reasonable 5-6% or only make that movement speed debuff only applys to evil within 3, cause it gives myers no map presence at all and makes him so damn slow it's even harder to get to ew3.I think the problem is with 'play with your food', the perk is suppose to be paired with these slower moving myers add-ons to compensate with the loss of speed. Every since they nerfed and destroyed the perk, these add-ons instantly became worse. "Play with your food" needs to be buffed first, then maybe change the add-ons next.
-
....I ######### love that idea. Seriously, that would fix the issue of stupid saves, but if I may suggest, 3.5-4 seconds would be a little more significant than from 2.5 to 3.0.
Edit:...oops misread, yeah that sounds fine 2.5 to 3.0 -

They need to add a second objective. Even if they remove toolboxes completely the gens are still easy to finish.while the hallowed blight did show that secondary objectives do slow the game down, the awards would need to be worth it for people to risk getting those secondary objectives. Gens would still get done too fast if nobody goes for them during a game unless they were partly required.
-
there's only one thing they can do to fix this problem at its core....slow down the gen repair speeds by adding enough charges to where it would roughly take 7-10 more seconds to finish a gen on your own. Slowing down healing and messing with pallet and hook spawns have helped fix other issues, but the core issue is still there. Gens will be finished too quickly. Hell one match as freddy while I was chasing my obsession for dying light, 3 gens got done before I even hooked them.....that's way too damn quick. The issue I have with Hex Ruin is that hex perks aren't really that fun to use due to them being a huge gamble from spawn placements due to RNG, either allowing us to choose where the totem spawns or letting killers do an action when their totem is cleansed to let them apply it to a new totem would be a freaking god send.
-
I am not o.0. Not really a good balance cause freddy can't interact with awake survivors. The auto attack should fully ignore them till asleep. Either that or not have the auto attack target them if they're clipping into freddy, which makes the basic attack do a full 180. Now to be fair, this is a rare case but that's not skill to me to exploit a design flaw with freddy.Giche said:@TheMadDoctor said:

Indeed and the tombstone making all stages of evil within's base speeds lowered by 9% is not worth it. Sure you don't get pushed out of EW3 for killing 1 survivor, but you're already so damn slow in EW1 and having it go below 100% kills what little map pressure myer's had. Lowering the debuff to 5-6% and/or making it only apply to evil within 3 would make the addon more usable. Plus, that movement speed debuff applies to everything, even stalking speeds. Yes you can rely on play with your food but if the kill m1 thing doesn't work, you lose a token and can't kill them if you downed them. Being able to kill them by picking them up and hitting m1 would be a great addition in case of that. Myer's Tombstone addons are a fun idea, but they are so damn gimmicky that only the tombstone piece is worth using.friendlykillermain said:@MyFreddyIsBae said:
So, having a free 4/4 is somehow bad? True, still, always room for improvement.

That too, seemingly was a way to make it easier to hide from freddy. I already proposed an idea where freddy can grab people who are partly in the dream transition,(like 2-3 seconds in,) off of gens, totems, hook saves, exit gates, and possibly vaults since it only happens when injured. Also, changing a couple of his stats back to release like his terror radius and shaving a second off his dream transition. I also would prefer that if the hex totem is cleansed, allow killers to find a dull totem and go through an action to reply the hex back into the game. Not instantly just allow to put the time into getting the hex back on track cause the map is surrounded in dull totems, you're telling me the killer couldn't just reapply it to a new totem?SmokePotion said:@Blueberry said:
I like the hatch idea. However for the totems adding a perk just for that is unneeded. But the fact you can be 30-40 meters away, and not only tell that a totem is there, but if it's a hex or not, seems a bit weak.

I disagree, the movement speed debuff in my opinion is way too damn much and applies to all evil within stages 9% across all stages doesn't really justify the free m1 mori's. It makes Myer's as slow as the nurse in EW1 and slower than the huntress or spirit in EW2 and EW3. I'd propose speed debuffs only applying to EW3 cause that's where the tombstone matters.Whispers23 said:I used it yesterday for the first time and found it to be amazing. Doesn't need any buffs.

This has to be a joke, I can't take it seriously. He needs some small buffs, not nerfs rofl.True I actually had a couple ideas for buffing myers, but they are only a couple
1:Lessen the movement speed debuff of his addon Judith's tombstone from 9% to 5-6% as the movement speed debuff is so bad that I actually prefer to use the tombstone pieces.
2:rework his perk play with your food to where you will lose tokens only if you hit or down a survivor, but to balance it with tombstone myer's build, have a special code in the perk that will detect if you're playing myer's with a tombstone addon so every m1 kill will make you still lose a token. (ok I actually checked play with your food and found out tombstone kills don't actually take tokens...still, hitting the m1 making you loose a token is really finicky.)
3:while I understand Myer's having a normal killer terror radius at EW3, I think lessening it to 26 meters wouldn't be a bad idea. If he's based around stealth, his terror radius should not be ever close to a regular killers. I get it's for balance, but he's not as powerful as people would like to think.
4:allow for myer's to earn a bit more stalking energy off of each survivor, not too much more, maybe just 1 extra second off each survivor. -
These aren't perfect ideas, but they are pretty good ones, I also got one idea from a friend where during looping, if the killer were to get pallet stunned, they would gain a stack of bloodlust, which would add some strategy to chases by making killers choose whether to keep chasing or to break the pallet to cut off the loop off but loose the free speed boost.

You're whining and exaggerating along with your facts being highly inaccurate. First of all, Myer's is literally the strongest of the liscensed killers but he's balanced fine. A killer in an asymmetrical horror game is supposed to be op but balanced in a way to where they're not impossible. In other words,"Not Broken." Myer's still has a terror radius in all his stages, plus in evil within 1, he moves way below 110% movement speed with an almost non existent lunge range and a tiny terror radius, evil with 2 is the actual killer stats but he has a smaller than usual terror radius, ew3's on a timer and myer's can only get so much energy from one survivor. Plus, he's literally not the only one with the power to instadown. His stages are balanced well, also...dcing or dying on purpose over not liking Myer's is pathetic, yeah I always hate playing against Myer's but I sit there and deal with it. I don't get pissy and DC or commit suicide. In fact, his perk play with your food needs some work and I really hate the heavy movement speed debuff Judith's Tombstone gives out.Just_a_random_guy said:As i just got out of another Shape game wich ended - of cause, in 4 kills, i just have to say something about the Shape:
What the hell were you thinking when adding the shape like he is? Did you even test your own game?To be honest i am sick of the shape still not being fixed. No Terror Radius, One-hit ability and the ability to ignore stealth? Plus the typical Add-Ons wich make playing as a survivor a pain in the a**. You might not noticed it, but as a killer you really have to be patient, as no one wants to play survivor anymore. And the Shape is currently a main reason for this.
Until you are able to fix him finally, i will leave any game with the Shape inside. This killer is simply P2W with no intention of making him a balanced killer.
To make this a little bit more then just a pointless rant some suggestions to fix him:
- The Shape should not be able to move AT ALL when stalking. (He does not move in the movies as well)
- His breath should be hearable (and directional) when stalking a survivor
- Stalking should not reveal the auras of a survivor when only a few pixels are visible. In addition, grass should be able to block stalking.
- Reworking his speed would be usefull as well, as his incredible strength should be balanced out by a slow movement speed (105?)
To be honest, I'd like to see Michael Myers gone totally from the game, as he is as broken as a killer can be. But as lots of people invested the money to win all the time, it would be unfair to steal them a killer. With my suggestions he would be still one of the strongest (if not still the strongest) killers in game.
Until then, i will DC or suicide if i get him. I will NOT support this P2W crap anymore. You made me stop playing the game once due to him, now i will play the game the way that I am able to enjoy it.

Yeah, that's the issue since the built in windstorm was seemingly put in to make up the distance a wraith will loose while uncloaking in a chase, making his uncloaking a bit faster would help. I know that you killer mains are very upset and enraged that the Decisive Strike nerf didn't hit the PTB but you gotta think about the other side as well. Now before you get you pitch forks and torches for me saying that, allow me to explain before you bombard me with LOL's!
The Problem With Decisive Strike:
This perk allows a "Free" get out of jail card to the survivor using it.
How to Fix Decisive Strike Without Making the Perk Useless:
Let's look at Deliverance, a perk that makes you work for a jail free card and notice this time that I didn't say "Free" like I did above with the Decisive Strike problem. Deliverance has multiple amount of various variables limiting it from being a "Free" get out of jail card. Let's look at the conditions of the perk as well as the penalties afterward from using the perk:
Deliverance:
-Needs a condition to activate
-You will still move to the second phase of sacrifice
-Has a penalty after using it
-Can be completely useless if you are hooked firstNow, since we got a general understanding on why Deliverance is a balanced jail free card, let's apply our knowledge to Decisive Strike.
Decisive Strike:
When you are within 12/24/36 meters from the killer for a total of 60 seconds, this perk will activate. If the perk is activated and the killer picks you up, immediately stun the killer for 4 seconds and automatically wiggle free from the killer's grasp. A successful Decisive Strike will cause you to suffer a 20/40/60 second bleed-out timer. The perk will not activate if you have been hooked before and this perk can only be used once per trial. Increases your chances of becoming the killer's obsession. It's worth noting that the perk will not tell you your progress to activating the perk since it would ruin stealth killers. However the perk will light up when it's activated and ready to use! Additionally, the perk will not make progress when in a chase, forgot to add that on to my Decisive Strike rework!

Why is This Version of Decisive Strike More Balanced?
This version has a condition, a risk, and a penalty after using the perk. This perk is exactly like Deliverance or a better way to explain it, it's now the survivor's version of a Hex perk. You either waste a perk slot or you can get tremendous value if you follow these conditions!
What do you all think? Please leave your civil comments below!

I actually do like this idea. I love deliverance as a perk since its well balanced and giving that treatment to decisive strike would ease the annoyance a bit. Hopefully the devs not being satisfied with the tested changes means they realized this too. If they did, I'll be amazed.

For example if I slapped a generator or hex or event item and pulled them off and made other survivors believe it toono you're good, it's not something that should be bannable, but it is a slightly dickish mood, but I usually let them get event items if they let me get some hooks.

If you ask most players they'll say it's not a team gameImo, it's team game until the gates are powered. Then it's just every man for themselves.
true but that really depends, like no ed, it's in play then you just look at your friend and say,"...sorry man, I can't be hooked."

Yeah these are changes everyone wants...especially the prices of the stores but a water map or one based completely in snow would be fantastic.slipttees said:I only know this game due Psn Plus. I enjoyed it so much that I bought all the DLC's and I'm looking forward to more killers, maps and survivors. After playing a while I missed some things in the game that I'm putting down.
1 - Maybe add more 2 gestures for suvivers. Be quiet and stay still or denial (miss a skill check)
2 - Maybe gestures for killers
3 - In game PC/PS4/XBOX a option for change game language.
4 - Price of things in DBD store a little lower.
5 - Game otimization
6 - More maps (I never see water)
7 - More Game optimization
8 - Maybe 4K and HDR support
9 - More option for customize the lobby (change background, music, fire pit)
10 - Thanks for all -

Stake Out could be great if it would increase the skill check trigger rate!
I earn so much tokens and can't use them because I'm getting to little skill checks.I know that there is this effect in Spine Chill but it could also be in Stake Out - stacking

Stake Out is nice with Technician but should also be nice with Autodidact.
I also don't understand why it is forbidden to use Autodidact and a medkit. There are those medkit-Addons which increase the skill check trigger rate... You don't want to have an increased healing speed with autodidact so it would be not OP to allow this perk with medkits.
I don't personally agree with audodidact working with medkits unless they do two things.
1:Either lessen the effects of skillchecks by half when using medkits
or
2:make it so you heal slower than normal with a medkit if you use autodidact. -

Hear me out mates. One issue with the higher ranks is running around a single pallet before finally dropping it after circling it many times. So here's an idea, why not have killers be able to drop the pallets during chases? Keyword, DURING CHASES, you can't run around dropping pallets then breaking them to make chases impossible...cause that would be broken. Killers should be allowed to drop them during chases to speed things along.
ok do us all a favor and throw out your computer then go get it delete your account and throw it out again
Jesus christ man it was just an idea.
@TheMadDoctor, you gotta ignore certain people. They are uncivilized and can't have a discussion without them insulting you!

However just ignore them!
I kind of got that idea, what did you think of it?

A better idea would be to ask for pallets to need set up time before they can be thrown rather than the ability of killers to destroy all pallets (upright or not) they find.
I also mentioned different ideas for that, never said they be allowed to destroy all pallets. I mentioned ideas like being allowed to only do it but only to a couple pallets per trial with heavy cooldowns each time its done.
I corrected what I said. You’re revolving around an idea that takes away aspects of the game rather than adding more depth. Making it harder by removing abilities is a ton less fun.
I'm sorry, but what do you mean remove abilities? That makes no sense, plus, you can't pallet stun survivors with this idea.

this is by far the funniest thing I have read today lol a bit harsh but yeah I couldn't say that would be a good idea to allow killers to mess with the pallets. Giving killers the ability to use pallets against survivors would be like giving the survivors the ability to knock a killer into a hook getting him stuck for a few seconds. Yes it does get annoying when you find that one survivor that knows how to use that loop perfectly but you keep trying to take away from either side it only going to cause an issue with the opposite side. There isn't any real way to appease both sides, the best I can think of is to give more perks to both sides to make each survivor/killer more unique to that individual player. I could see a perk that allows the killer some form of a dodge when a pallet is dropped or maybe a chance the pallet doesn't fall and have it dependent on a skill check but with a long cool down timer otherwise it negates the pallets being effective. At the same time I could see a need/want for a pallet perk for a survivor that does extra stun, or like a dizzy effect afterwards
