I've also considered that, and it'd definitely be better - I just think it'd also still be weaker than it needs to be.
Still, no denying it'd be better than what we have.
Yeah I agree at least it'll be better then what it currently is

Are we at the point again where we think that Still Sight is a good Perk? Will this be a yearly thing? I still remember when the Perk released and was called "new Object of Obsession".
Wow I didn't think Still sight was so hated
-
I've gotten 3 times but I really don't like it feels so boring and empty

They just can if there's an open slot. Unfortunately when they recently added 4 more spectator slots, these slots are usable by cheaters to quickly join, obtain the IP of the server, and DDOS it. That's why filling up the slots prevents them from being able to do that. Idk how the cheaters got in though they just breached it i guess
I think if devs added the option to turn off spectator slots that would help wouldn't it?

Probably not, but to be fair, the chest-searching part is thematically extremely on brand. Salvaging parts from dangerous places to build stronger defences is very much something the TWD characters do, canonically- makes sense to make a perk with a similar premise.
I think the bigger problem with Apocalyptic Ingenuity is that it's one-and-done per two chest searches. If searching/rummaging two chests unlocked the ability to make fragile pallets indefinitely, the perk would hit a much better intersection between thematic and actually useful.
A cooldown would be a good way of limiting it after the fact, or maybe have it so you can only have one active fragile pallet at a time. That might not even be necessary, though- fragile pallets are very weak.
I was thinking we bump it down to 1 chest but AI is now token based every opened chest grants 1 token rummaging also grants 1 token for a max of 3.
Spending 1 token you can build a Fragile pallet in 3 seconds

the big problem with this perk is that you have to go out of your way to Activate the perk just to get a mid effect. Meanwhile perks like OTR and others work great just by playing the game(doing gens, getting chased).
Nobody wants to do chests cause it’s a time waster. Plus you have to bring 1 perk just to get the perk to activate on one chest. If not it would be 2 chests JUST to rebuild a one and done pallet.
So would it really? Be op if the perk just made it so you can build a pallet anytime?? Of course it sounds kinda strong but this is where a cooldown would actually make sense here’s how I would make it.
The Auras of broken pallets are revealed to you at all times within infinite range.
when standing next to a broken pallet, press the active ability button for 5/4/3 seconds to build a fragile pallet. The pallet breaks instantly after use. This perk has a cooldown of 120 seconds. There simple and does the job done without time wasting.
I was thinking if we removed the requirement of searching chests and just the time spent rebuilding the pallet is the tradeoff. If it becomes to strong we can just add a cooldown
-
I'm not sure there really isn't much I can think of big horror licenses they could add to the game most likely it could be like a small/niche horror license chapter that is coming.
Maybe something like Fatal frame or Clocktower
-
If a survivor early DCs I kinda just go chill on the others or I just go for the bot to give them time and points

That's… that's a massive buff for legion if they make it he can down at 4. God dammit devs what the hell are they thinking?
I find it funny Survivors complained about Legion keeping everybody injured so Devs listened and are making the Limit to 4 and as a result hes no longer just a Support Killer now he's a really strong downer now.
-
Pallet chaining is too strong and these should exist to stop long stalls
-
Why is yellow activation so op but Purple doesn't have an Activation time at all?
-
Yeah pretty much why I gave up with her
-
Devs actually listen to Otz the guy that's literally trying to make your jobs easier.
This just shows how broken and how vulnerable your game is.
-
Every killer has something wrong with them since the update
-
Always been 1 token

Well, even if they made the killer role unappealing to play, I think many players would still prefer it over survivor.
There isn't really anything special about survivor in 2v8, sadly.
That's really sad to hear when they literally get strong classes and Ultimates like it'll never be enough for survs

I stand with Jim make him a charm

Make survivor more appealing.
Most people want 2v8 specifically to play killer, which creates the issue of extremely long queue times.
Exactly so Devs gotta make Survivor super appealing and make wanting to play Killer unappealing
-
After Streetwise I doubt this is on the table for a long time
-
There just doing whatever to get more survivors to play the mode classes were already good now there gonna be borderline busted

any buffs to ghost face?
Nope apparently they think he's fine

I think after consideration if we limit the charges we can rebuff the fog vials

They said they are gonna nerf Legion so it's fine, and survivor classes will be a bit stronger😋
"Nerfs" when there just lowering the feral slash limit from 8 to 4
-
Thought it was just me
-
Revert SM nerfs and Nerf Kaneki
-
Just increase the time it takes to get up and it'll be fine

If survivors are moving at all (even if it's moving back and forth in a small line), it takes 8.5 minutes before they get their first crow, and 12.5 minutes before they get their 3rd crow.
And opening a chest completely resets AFK points. So a survivor can hide for over 16 minutes, if they open 1 chest, and they won't get any crows the entire time.
So Killer can trap survivors in corners again least for 12 mins this was a terrible nerfing crows that long

Yeah it seems that way. I played a match recently where survivors 3-genned themselves badly (I was not trying to force them into it) and didn’t touch gens for at least 5 minutes, By the time I finally found someone, they had accumulated only one crow. There’s no way people are getting crows after only 2 minutes.
The system went from the system being way too punishing to effectively useless. I really don’t understand how such a simple solution could be so complicated to implement. It's basically takes like 8 mins to get crows now I believe
-
M1 killers just can't keep up anymore that's why only mobility killers like Blight and Ghoul or killers that just ignore Survivor mechanics like Nurse reign supreme
-
Probably Relentless or Control
-
They made afk Crows extremely long to get now

I take it you don't hold this same opinion for the exorbitant amount of overpowered Killer perks or add-ons? Yes, let's just take away everything that can even remotely make it fair for the Survivors, that'll make people want to play the role and reduce the queue time for Killers.
Depends what killer and addon your asking for to be nerfed
-
They have to be nerfed simple as that especially Syringe

In that situation, why would anyone bring any item? What would a med-kit actually do that would justify bothering with it? What would the toolbox do? If I'm playing survivor and a game goes exactly the same, beat for beat, with an item than it would have without an item, what's the point other than wanting to fill an empty slot on the loadout screen?
For small little boosts right medkits and Toolboxes are way to game changing especially the Addons
-
Can confirm Pallet Vaults are still insanely fast with Last stand.
Devs when you making new animations for perks make sure they are the same speed as the original vaults

to put this more elaborately; no one is ever going to use fog vials keys and maps enmasse if these three items are not allowed to be good and medkits and toolboxes are going to be the objectively better thing to bring (leaving flashlights off because running that is partly skill based, which can be argued for keys and maps but their main issue is the inability to hold their properties in comparison to the new token based charge system). i agree that the fog vial nerf was too far and they really should only be removing the infinite usage aspect of it, but if we want equal usage of items they would have to be equal in power.
alas i dont know how to fix toolboxes. medkits i feel as though the problem spawns from the good addons on them being so good, its pointless to run anything else. toolboxes have the caveat that most their gen progressing add ons, hold BNPs. are green tier or lower. there are two extremely good iri medkit add ons, two very good purple add ons, and even the blue ones are worth it to run. the love just doesnt feel spread right
We knock Medkits and Toolboxes down rework the add-ons and less charges and efficiency

What would be the point if Scratch Marks can be seen in the Fog?
Cause blocking all three major tells was a terrible idea and look where it landed

I mass spent 15 levels on my p100. Got nine toolboxes and eleven medkits but only one fog vial. I'm kinda fine with it though since fun as a survivor is illegal and they're gonna be useless now.
Can't have that time to reverse this
-
Nerf Medkits and Toolboxes they are to strong anyway
-
We should ban Filters and any sort of modifications made to the game
-
If the Devs just limited Vial charges in the first place and just allowed stratch marks to be seen in the fog it wouldn't have been so nerfed visibility wise
Also Fog Vials visibility weirdly got thicker or less depending on the map your on

Yes. Yes it was

we’ve all known what needs to get nerfed but bhvr has a insane problem with nerfing the weak killers/items/perks on both sides and keeping the top tier stuff the same instead of buffing the weak things and nerfing the top things to shorten the gap between the meta/overtuned and the detrimental/undertuned. how many updates is blight/nurse & syringes/commodious toolbox gonna zoom past the nerfs section and balanced/niche perks/killers get nerfed/gutted? it’s becoming a serious problem.
Exactly nerf those stuff already
-
@MoZo said:
I’m so fed up with how they respond to community feedback. they just added a new survivor item, everyone uses the new item to test it out (like any other new item/perk/character that gets added), community complains because they hate adapting to new things, devs hear the loud noise of complainers instead of realizing that the fog vials are mid at best and medkits & toolboxes surpass them by miles and end up gutting them 2 weeks after they release. I guarantee after they do the nerf to add a limited amount of uses, fog vials will drop down to the THE worst item in the game for survivors and we’ll be back to syringes, BNP’s and styptics every game!
We know what to nerf next!
